Short Backstory: Nyx and other mothpeople are fluffy insectoid demihumans who practice dark arts and find subtle enjoyment in when things go wrong for others, usually not opting to be ones to directly cause chaos but to observe it. This however doesn't mean that they are not civilised themselves. While they live in a segregated society and love spying on people outside of it to see what goes on within their lives like a drama show, they all have their own jobs, Nyx whom works managing the larvae nursery. Moths of her kind tend to be rather persuaded and changed by what lifestyle and job they take, thus Nyx became a mix of multiple personalites. She became nice and kind while also playful and teasing from being around children for so long, but in turn she ended up becoming defensive and deadly from needing to be protective over such vulnerable larvae, becoming somewhat of an infamous psychopath who nobody was capable of saying 'no' to about getting the blade-wielding madwoman away from all of the children. In her defence, it DID make people scared to do anything bad to the larvae.

Character traits: Nyx is a constantly very serious person underneath whatever personality she shows on her exterior, she doesn't take too kindly to any sort of threat or anything that would agitate someone so used to nursing tiny larvae and will immediately act on the defence of people who are smaller or more vulnerable for the sake of doing so. She has changed with her nursery job and has taken a more psychopathic approach to life, and will simply threaten people with taking their lives if they don't shut it and behave. She's barely older than most people in the Academy, and isn't older than the teachers and employees, but that doesn't mean she will incline herself to believe that she's the most mature and grown up out of everyone. However around people she doesn't feel suspicious about, or absolutely hate, she will usually act with kindness, flirtiness and playfulness, or treating them like a harmless infant because they look like a child.
Why your here: She wishes to train her skills, that and everymoth who lived alongside her tried to get her away from the nursing job to have someone else work it instead.

Ability Description: Nyx is capable of summoning up to four magically enhanced rapiers for combat. Nyx also has some shadow magic which involves cloaking, night vision and shadow movement, which allows her to suddenly move and dash over a short distance in almost an instant looking as if she teleported, although during this brief moment she travels as nothing more but a black shadow.
