Name: Wii D-Pad

Age: 13

Canon: Nintendo

Powers / Abilities / Equipment: The D-Pad can move what is being "selected" on the screen, and thus holds great power. Also has some functionality in games.

Personality: Very assertive, a tad aggressive even. Confident, knowing what it wants and when it wants it, then goes and gets that thing. Egotistical, thinking himself the superior selecting mechanism, above the sensor and A button.

Short Bio: One day, an artist in Nintendo sketched the concept of what would become the finalized Wii Remote. In this sketch, the idea of a D-Pad on the remote was created. And then, sometime later, in 2006, one particular Wii Remote was manufactured and released to the public. Everyone loved it! And Wii D-pad was loved just the same, being an excellent function for selecting things on the screen with incredible precision.

Other Info: Dislikes the Wii Remote Sensor and A button.

Name: The Minus (Select) button

Age: 13

Canon: Reality

Powers / Abilities / Equipment: The minus, or select button is used to "select" certain things in various games and menus, however its role is often supplanted by its older brothers, "A" and "Start"

Personality: Somewhat shy and self-conscious about being the least-used button on the remote, it will often hang back and let others do its work until needed.

Short Bio: Once upon a time, someone at the nintendo world headquarters decided that a normal start and select button were too played out for use in the new generation of consoles, as such, he slapped some mathematical symbols on them and stuck them on the remote. Minus was among these two buttons, and the name has stuck.

Other Info: The minus button is, despite what most would say, not entirely useless.

Appearance: A small circular button, emblazened with the "-" sign, located parallel to the "+" button in the center of the remote.
