Hi, I’m Nina. Thanks for taking a look at my interest check! I’m going to try to keep this short and sweet, and I’ll start by telling you a little about myself. I’m twenty-one and I’m a college student who also works part time, but I can still reply at least twice a week. My responses are normally between 200 and 500 words long and I write in third person perspective.

I love canon divergence AU’s, complex characters and relationships, slow burn romance, rewriting canon, angst, and making spotify playlists and pinterest board visuals for roleplays. I love to plot and I have a lot of ideas but I want to hear yours too! One of my primary interests right now is exploring the canon characters we both already know and love, so I am not interested in roleplays involving OC’s as main characters at this time. It's perfectly okay if you don't have experience roleplaying canon characters. Knowledge of the characters and a willingness to try and learn is all I ask!

I’ve listed some expectations and the fandoms I am interested in down below. Information about characters I can play, pairings, doubling, openness to purely platonic roleplays, and my plot ideas is specific to each fandom and can be found under each fandom's respective dropdown box.   Plot ideas:
  - Ginny starts a secret dueling club in her fifth year. Originally, only a few of her more reckless friends from Dumbledore’s Army are invited, but other people find out and blackmail their way in. Things get ugly pretty quickly after that. (Set during HBP)
  - Hermione is determined to get to the bottom of who is selling alcohol to underaged wizards all over the school. Ginny is very satisfied with her new source of income and doesn’t plan on getting busted any time soon. It’s just too easy to charm the guys down in Hogsmeade into giving her free firewhiskey, and it’s even easier to find Hogwarts students willing to buy it off of her. (Set during HBP)
  - Hermione loses a bet and is forced to learn how to play quidditch from Ginny. It is far worse than either of them could have ever imagined.
  - A potion’s lesson goes terribly wrong and our characters end up switching bodies. How long will they be stuck like this before the antidote is completed? (This is cliche but I’ve never tried it and I thought it would be fun)

  Plot idea:
  Okay hear me out because this is a long one. TLDR is at the bottom.
  
  Divergence from canon starts in the final episode of season one. Allison’s trust in Scott is irrevocably broken after seeing him turn into a werewolf and realizing he has been lying to her all this time. After seeing what a werewolf attack did to Lydia, Allison’s belief in protecting those who cannot protect themselves is reaffirmed. When Kate directs her to kill Scott, Allison refuses to kill him because it would be against the code. Kate’s crime against the Hales comes to light and Peter and Kate both die that night.
  
  So our roleplay would pick up right after that, with Lydia recovering in the hospital and Allison being trained as a hunter, scared of Lydia turning into a werewolf but determined to keep her safe (and others safe from her).
  
  We can incorporate the following canonical plot threads:
  - Lydia’s powers being triggered by Peter Hale’s bite (and him haunting/possessing her trying to get her to resurrect him)
  - Lydia disappears from the hospital
  - Gerard shows up and abandons the code
  - Lydia’s wound never heals, meaning she never transforms and appears to be immune
  - Derek is turning vulnerable teenagers into werewolves
  - Jackson becomes the kanima
  - Plus anything else from canon season two you might want to incorporate!
  
  As well as some new plot threads:
  - Jackson’s mother, Margaret, was Kali’s emissary. Kali attacked Margaret and her husband in what was made to look like a car accident. Her husband died immediately but Margaret was kept alive on life support long enough for Jackson to be delivered via c-section. Margaret’s dead body was stolen from the morgue by her secret lover, Peter Hale, the true father of her child. Peter resurrected her (in the same manner he is trying to get Lydia to resurrect him) and Margaret swore to get revenge on Kali and the Alpha pack. For the next few years she traveled North and South America looking for a way to defeat the alpha pack. She discovered the kanima, a monster that murders on their master’s behalf. After her son Jackson is bitten by Derek, Margaret performs a ritual on him in the lake to ensure he will transform into the kanima. By controlling him she plans to perform all the human sacrifices she will need to have the power to destroy the Alpha pack.
  - Allison and Lydia slowly falling in love… obviously
  - Allison actually telling Lydia what is going on instead of leaving her in the dark (because Allison knows how that feels and it isn't good)
  
  TLDR: Allison goes hardcore hunter mode after seeing what happened to Lydia at the end of season one, and doesn’t get back together with Scott. Lydia’s got a lot of weird shit going on inside her head and Allison is here to help her through it. As a friend. And then as totally more than a friend. Also some monster is going around killing people and Allison might have no choice but to work with Stiles and Scott to figure out what the hell is going on. Spoiler, it’s Jackson. His very much alive and evil mom turned him into the kanima to help her get revenge on Kali and the Alpha pack. Oh yeah, the alpha pack is going to make an appearance eventually. Meanwhile Derek keeps turning vulnerable teenagers into werewolves and Gerard is out here trying to kill everybody.

  Plot idea:
  Asami has been involved in the Equalist movement all along, working together with her father to develop machines and weapons to further their cause. Asami decides she wants to do more for the cause but her father is insistent she stays behind the scenes and out of harms way. By chance (or maybe on purpose) Asami meets Korra (maybe almost hitting her with her moped) and she knows how important it would be for the Equalist movement if they had an insider who the Avatar trusted. She decides to go behind her father’s back and go straight to Amon, who encourages her to gain the Avatar’s trust.
  
  Asami and Korra’s relationship evolves from there. Here’s my super rough plot skeleton of how I see the story evolving:
  - Asami meets Korra in Republic City and starts getting closer to her
  - Korra works to stop the Equalists, with Asami secretly sabotaging her efforts every step of the way
  - Their relationship becomes romantic at some point (or maybe it is from the very beginning)
  - Korra has her bending taken away and the Equalists take over Republic City. Asami’s betrayal is revealed.
  - Amon is leaning in the dictator-y direction and wants to expand his control beyond Republic City. Asami thinks this is a terrible idea. She wants Republic City to be haven for nonbenders across the world and lead by example rather than expand by force.
  - Stopping Amon from expanding is what ultimately brings Korra and Asami over to the same side. It’s going to be a rocky road to reconciliation.
  
  **An Equalist AU is the only plot I'm interested in for LOK.

  Plot ideas: Any flavor of post-Season 2 canon divergence AU is cool with me, but I don’t have any specific ideas. I just really want to explore the grounder world and cultures. If you have any ideas for a plot, send them my way!
