Care Bears... prepare to stare!
Camp Half-Blood
Campfire
Evening | Summer
Artemis had already set her moon high in the sky as campers filed their way to the campfire. Everyone was ready for the infamous sing-a-longs and smores. Alex was one of those campers, despite the reputation that hades kids don't care for social gatherings; much like their anti-social father. Alex took a seat on the stands, his hands in his pockets and a hood over his head. He felt the cool summer breeze tickling at him and it caused him to shiver. At least the campfire provided some sort of warmth. It was glowing a bright color showing the happiness of the campers present. He noticed that there was a seat closest to the fire, it was a bench really. He knew that's where the unclaimed children that were new to camp would sit. They would be finding out their heritage soon.
Chiron was near the fire gossiping with Amber the oracle, they seemed to be in a pleasant conversation. Then Chiron stepped forward his hooves scuffing against the stone on the ground. "If you've not been claimed sit down nearest to the fire!" he called throughout the commotion of campers socializing. Alex craned his neck up to listen and then his eyes darted back to the seat he was looking at. 'I wonder if I'll get any siblings...' he thought to himself. It would be interesting not to live in an empty cabin, though he had set it up however he liked and wasn't too fond of the idea on the other side.
He watched as campers who hadn't been claimed sat down. It seemed as though right on time symbols hovered over new camper's heads. They would get the announcement from Chiron and they would meet their siblings on their side of the stands. As usual, Aphrodite had the most children and claimed them in the most extra of ways. Though he saw no Hades children yet, he wasn't sure if he should be surprised or relieved.
