Roleplay Type(s)
Only Hypnos/Somnus and Morpheus/Somnia campers are exempt from the no dreaming rule.
Only one child of the Big Three between their Greek and Roman forms.
Roman spaces will be limited, since only a small group of them are at Camp Half-Blood. If you choose to be a Roman, you'll have to keep in mind that you've never been to the Greek camp until now. You know it exists, and may have heard about how different it is, but that's all.
You all know the rules.

Appearance:

Name: John Horg

Age: 15

Gender: Male

Nationality: American

Birthday: August 16

Sexuality: Hetero

Godly Parent: Poseidon

Years At Camp: Two

Power(s): Hydrokinesis. He can control the water to do anything. He doesn't abuse this power, so he thinks that he would his it for what he thinks is good.

Weapon(s): An average-sized rapier because he is gifted with an agile body and a rapier is the only weapon that is right for him.

Strength(s): He always trust his instincts. No matter what happens, he believes that his instincts are the only way around if he can't go through the easy and instructed way. He is also fast and agile. By his two-year training in Camp Half-Blood, he mastered his rapier and can use it for defensive purposes and sparring. He is confident with anything. He believes he can make something that can change everything, as long as it is possible.

Weaknesses: John is a slow thinker. He almost can't think of his way out of a problem. He always rely on his instincts. If only, he doesn't have anyone by his side. Making a personal recount. That means, if he makes a recount, whether its written or not, he gets terrified and becomes unable to do anything until he snaps out of it.

Likes: He likes to stay up the night, because he is an insomniac. He likes to eat, even though he doesn't get that much big. He likes to run, so he can exercise and train his legs to a faster speed. He likes sword-sparring, or sword-fighting with anyone, to train them and himself for a real battle.

Dislikes: John avoids liquids other than liquids that are drinkable and non-harmful. He gets out of control when he gets hold of a chemical, toxic liquid waste and all the liquids of the five rivers of the Underworld, even though he can't control those. He dislikes failure. His dislike of failure is his advantage of why he had gotten to this point. He dislikes recalling his past. It was so tragic that it made him down when he tried to recall it.

Personality: John is known to be a good and loyal person. He never betrayed anyone in his life and will not betray. He would stick to one side only. If he is greek, he would always be a greek. He is also a selfless person. He mostly does anything that can benefit him and others. Even though he looks like a happy and fun person, he is short-tempered. He gets angry for which he doesn't like if someone forces him to do something that would be unforgivable.

History: Unlike the other demigods who meet their godly parent when they're a year old and leave them, John was born without seeing his father Poseidon for even one time in his life. His mortal mother left him when he was six years old with his aunt because she can't sustain John with his life anymore. When John was young, his aunt treated him like her own son. She cared for him, never let him out of his sight. John continued with his school since he was seven. All of his school life was bad. He was treated horribly, called him the Bad Luck Boy, he was bullied, but his teachers admired him. He was good at academics, but low on activities. When he was ten, his aunt's husband died. John's aunt got negative, mad, and full of hatred. One day, his aunt started to abuse him too, for four years. After that, when he can't take it anymore and was suicidal, he ran away. While he was on the forest he heard someone, a fatherly voice. The voice directed him to the camp, where he belongs now. Until then, John would believe it was his spirit, leading him to the fate that he deserves.

Name: Janna Dolven
Age: 18
Gender: Female
Nationality: Swedish
Birthday: December 6th
Sexuality: heterosexual

Godly Parent: Demeter
Years At Camp: 5
Power(s):

-Plant manipulation; she can speed up the growth of plants and control them.
She can manipulate the earth as well since Demeter is Goddess of the earth in a certain right, but usually it's hard to control and doesn't work out well.
Weapon(s): a Xiphos, or double-edged sword.
Strength(s):
- Janna has a very strong sense of right and wrong, and she bases her decisions very carefully to minimize any dangers she might face.
-She is very good with making medicines out of plants and knowing what plants are poisonous, etc.
-Her sword is an extension of her body and she moves it just as such.
Weaknesses:
-Her English is sometimes broken and she trails off when she is confused about how to say something.
-She is pretty stubborn and it can match that of an Ares kid. Once she has something she's set on, there's not much you can do to stop her.
-She's horrified of fire and seeing it makes her nervous, even if it's the camp fire pit that she's seen for years. If she were caught in a large fire she'd probably shut down completely.
-She's an awful liar, so it's for the best if you keep her quiet if you need a lie to save you.
Likes:
-Thunderstorms
-First day of spring (she always knows when seasons begin and end)
-Animals
-Debating
Dislikes:
-Fire
-Egotistical showoffs (usually Big Three Kids)

-Country music
-The cold

Personality: Janna is very defensive and surrounds her emotions with heavy veils that are nearly impossible to penetrate. The few she lets see past her walls are the ones she gets most protective over. She is very kind to those who deserve it and makes decisions about people without even knowing them.
History: Janna was born in a small town where livestock probably outnumbered the human population. Her father was a high school dropout and so picked up boxing gloves so he could provide for her three other siblings. Janna was the oldest of the siblings and so she was the one who had to take care of the others. They had one neighbor who was an elderly woman named Ella Brown. She was a sweet old woman who's husband and only son had died in a car crash some years ago and she hadn't tried filling the hole in her heart. Instead, she helped take care of the four children to the best of her ability. She let Janna take care of her small garden out back and gave her some of the harvest in return. The old woman swore Janna had a natural green thumb.
Her father would come home bleeding and barely able to walk, and Janna put the others to bed and took care of him.
Janna was 13 when some kind of creature attacked the family in their mobile home, and Janna woke up to fire and smoke. Something struck her eye as she struggled to get to her siblings. The beast tried to get to Janna through the flaming debris of the house, and Janna tried getting out. She managed to get outside and she headed towards the woods, the sound of a roar heard behind her as she stumbled away on burnt and scratched feet. She remembered little after, but she passed out at the edge of a forest. Vines covered her body and she remembered a comforting voice in the background. She woke up two days later in the infirmary of Camp Half-Blood with a blinded eye which was the only thing they couldn't heal completely. She knew little English and was completely clueless on how she ended up in America, but she picked up the language quickly. She had been already claimed by her mother, and she turned to fighting to numb her pain.
Other/Extra: Janna is blind in her left eye.

Being able to control the rivers of the Underworld is too OP, and being able to control toxic chemicals shouldn't be as easy either, since they would only be part water. Your strengths and weaknesses contradict each other. His instincts are almost always wrong, and yet he can quickly end arguments using them? takki takki

Please be more specific with your powers. I feel like controlling 'shadows and fear' can quickly become too OP if she doesn't have any limits.
What kind of gun? A machine gun, for instance, would make fighting way too easy.
How can her control of fear backfire against her? Daniel Reaving Daniel Reaving

Ok so by backfire I mean it effects her more than her target if she uses it. And by shadow manipulation I litteraly mean shadow manipulation but of course very dimmed down from the wiki says shadow manipulation can do

You can't get any more specific than that? Can she use shadows to attack others? Can she hide in them? Is there a limit to this?

Perry Clark Morgan Son of Aphrodite.

Appearance:
1458210109002.jpg

Height: 6 foot

Weight: 125 lbs

Hair Color: A deep, chocolaty-brown

Eye Color: A deep, forest green with flecks of gold in them.

Favorite Colors: Green and Purple

Age: 18

Gender: Male

Nationality: White/Caucasian.

Birthday: May 9th, 1998

Zodiac: Taurus

Sexuality: Gay

Godly Parent: Aphrodite

Scent: Perry always smells of fresh mint, as he always has a pack of mint gum with him

Years At Camp: Five (5)

Powers: (Other than the normal Demigod kinda stuffs)
  • Allure: Whilst conscious Perry constantly gives off a slight aura of attractiveness, making him more physically attractive than most. With concentration though demigods can see through it.
  • Amokinesis: If there is any small spark of love between two people Perry can add to it, fanning it into the flames of romance and desire. This works in reverse as well. Save for true love he can negate any romantic feelings between two people.
Weapons: He wields twin daggers that are as dangerous as they are appealing. A gift from his mother when he fled his home in search of Camp Half-Blood they present themselves as two ordinary bead bracelets that transform when he concentrates. The daggers themselves are elegantly made, with fine, minute details all through them. The handle is made of a soft leather that conforms to the hand, which is protected by a triangular silver hand guard, to help protect him from being disarmed. The blade itself is made of Celestial Bronze, with one edge. It spans about a foot in length, with a wicked gut hook tip. The pommel appears as a cluster of pearls under a small gilded rose. The daggers are aptly named Lust and Heartbreak

Strengths:

    • Strategist: From an early age Perry showed a knack for war games and games that demanded logic and concentration.
    • Charismatic: Due in part to his parentage Perry has a way about him that is relaxed and fun, letting him establish friendships with most he interacts with
    • Diplomacy: His easy-going attitude often helps him keep the peace in his cabin
    • Speed: From a young age he was engaged in athletics, but as he grew older he specialized in sports that were focused on cardio, easily keeping pace with the fastest runners in the camp.
    • Confidence: Since finding a home in Camp Half-Blood he has felt more accepted, leading to more confidence in himself, which has lead him to become more extroverted.
  • Good at lying: Years of moving schools and hiding his sexuality helped him hone his ability to lie.
Weaknesses:
  • Very Vocal: Perry is very outspoken about things that displease him, or go against his opinions/values and can be hard to reason with.
    • Shameless: Perry can be a little... Much for some people. He flirts with any and all, even if he has no desire to pursues them. Sometimes personal space can be blurred for him, though if told to back off he will.
    • Monophobia: Being alone is terrifying for Perry, and can cause him to freeze him in a panic attack.
    • Habitual Liar: Years of moving schools and hiding his sexuality helped him hone his ability to lie.
Likes:

    • Sweets
    • Running in the light of dawn/dusk
    • Romance/ Seducing people (duh)
    • Teasing Others
    • Challenges
    • Shiny things
Dislikes:

    • Hats
    • Being serious too long
    • Being alone
    • Butterflies
    • Posers
    • Hunters of Artemis

Personality: A exuberant and loud person, Perry stands out in even the most crowded places. A shameless flirt he can often be found trying to convince some innocent new camper into a kiss, or encouraging (meaning forcing) two people he thinks are cute together together. He may be seen as a sort of trouble maker, but he is loyal to his Greek family and wary of outsiders. Despite being friendly towards everyone, he has trouble making actual deep, meaningful relationships with other people, which feeds into his monphobia.

History: Born to a single "player" military man father Perry grew up moving constantly. From an early age he had a tense relationship with his father who would get in trouble because of Perry's run ins with common monsters. His father loved him, but was very strict, and refused to let Perry get diagnosed with ADD and ADHD. The final straw came when he was 13, kicked out after he caused a fire in his school while making out with a male classmate in the science classroom. So he left. He traveled state by state, searching for a place to make a living. After half a year of living a vagabond life Aphrodite appeared before him in the botanical gardens he had broken into to sleep in for the night. He had only met his mother once before, when he was very young, at the age of three. Despite not knowing her, and knowing he should resent her for never being around he felt calm. She told him how to get to Camp Half-Blood and gifted him with Lust and Heartbreak. He traveled to the Camp, unsure and scared, pursued by a pack of Stymphalian birds that had picked up on his scent half way there.

I'd rather you only pick a few of those for her to be able to do, or at the very least, add limits. Within reason doesn't really tell me much of anything. Daniel Reaving Daniel Reaving

Well picking a few severely limits my character and I will add limits but I plan to just have it as she knows the basics of the abilities, maybe over time she can develope them but I was never planning to put her in with immediate mastery of the power

You already have power over the dead and control over fear. Narrowing what she can and can't do with darkness wouldn't limit her. Considering how old you want her to be, In don't see how she wouldn't have mastered, or be close to mastering her powers by now.

Because she's only been at the camp for a couple weeks now. Her fear ability hits her instead of her opponent most of the time and she can only call on the dead for a short amount of time on top of that she's scared of her abilities

Godly Parent: Zeus.
Years At Camp: 0 (this will be her first year.)

Power(s):

  • Atmokinesis: extremely minor degree of control over the weather. She may be able to call lightning from the sky at will, though this is usually impulsive.
  • Electrokinesis: powers over electricity and lightning, though she greatly lacks control over it.
  • Static Shock: can send powerful amounts of static shock throughout another person's body on contact. She can also emit blue static sparks when she is angry. She doesn't really have any control over this either.
  • Zeus' Authority: things that belong to her father's domain can do as she asks, such as statues of the angels, weaponry, etc. However, she refuses to use this ability.
(may be updated as story progresses.)
Weapon(s):
None. Jin just arrived at Camp Half-Blood. Though a number of weapons are available to her, considering that her father is Zeus, she does not use any because she has until recently been living as an ordinary human. She's also largely uninterested in weaponry. (This will be updated once she gets something.)

Strength(s):
Deduction and logic; Jin is clever and can usually reason her way out of a problem.
Flirtation; Jin has an attractive wryness about her which she sometimes uses to her own advantage.
Authority; Jin is a natural leader and often finds herself as head of the pack.
Linguistics; Jin can speak numerous languages, in part due to her privileged background, and in part due to the strange quirks of being Zeus's offspring.

Weaknesses:
Poor stamina.
Easily frustrated.
Easily emotional, which muddies her reasoning capabilities.
Fear of water; specifically, closing her eyes or being enveloped in water.
Cleithrophobia; specifically, the fear of being trapped underground.

Likes:

History.
Getting what she wants.
Winning.
Cats.
Books.

Dislikes:
Zeus and generally the gods as a whole.
Being surrounded by people for two long.
Being expected to lead.
Entitlement (though she is arguably rather entitled herself).
Rainy weather and storms in general.
Many more things.

Personality:
Those that don't know her well may consider her to be somewhat cold. Rather, the opposite is true: easily irritated, and with little patience, Jin is unmistakably a daughter of Zeus, marked by her fiery temper. Her fickle emotions and easiness to anger mark her as a somewhat volatile young woman. In recent years, she's become better at controlling her feelings, though they are still often more prone to negativity than positivity. She has mastered the resting bitch face, which is more often than not how she channels her frustrations with almost everyone around her. She resents Zeus, and similarly, many other Greek or Roman gods. Somewhat of a Chinese/Taiwanese nationalist, she celebrates her culture-- partially in an effort to further distance herself from the Greek culture of her father. Jin is also highly competitive, and hates to lose. She can be quite petty, and is a rather prickly, somewhat uppity young woman.

History:
The daughter of a young Taiwanese socialite, Jin grew up for much of her life believing that her step-father was her true biological father. She had little knowledge of Greek mythology as a whole, and never knew that Zeus was her father, though he had made a few sparse visits to her throughout her childhood (one of them being while she was at the park, and while her mother went to buy ice cream, he approached her and attempted to greet her as her father. Young Jin laughed at him, and then spurned him at his continued insistence. Years later, when she discovered that he was her true father, their relationship remained just as dreadful, if not worse, mostly from her end). Though she adored her mother, Jin's relationship with her was at times unstable. Jin began to foster a much closer relationship with her step-father, who truly raised her as if she were his own daughter. Jin's earliest memories of her step-father date back to when she was about four, but she never questioned his absence in her earlier life, chalking it up to the hectic lifestyle of a business tycoon. Jin had always been a little firebrand, adored and spoiled by her family. While she was in elementary school, she was often referred to as the "tyrant of the playground," though her parents were completely oblivious to her temperamental issues.

At twelve, Jin was sent to an elite boarding school, despite her furious protest against it. She ended up thriving, however, at the school (after she convinced her roommate that the room was haunted through "coincidental" power outages, as consequently got the room to herself as a haven of solace and peace). It nurtured her interest in history and her love of language, as well as providing her basic information about the Greek gods. She studied Buddhism for a year under the tutelage of her grandmother, who worked as an educator at the school. (According to her grandmother, Jin was a blessing bestowed upon her otherwise infertile mother by the Bodhisattva, Guanyin. This would later turn out to be a somewhat fictitious account that Jin's mother gave her grandmother to explain the mystery of her sudden pregnancy with Zeus.) The one incident at the school swimming pool, though, would instill a fear of water in her forever. She had originally been a competitive swimmer on the swim team, but her peers encouraged her to try out for the diving team as well, remarking that her body type would be perfect for it. After an accident with her feet slipping off the board unexpectedly, Jin fell into the water and the surprise nearly drowned her. Otherwise, her years at this boarding school seemed to tame her temper, though she is inwardly still rather intolerant and easily irritated.

At sixteen, Jin was suddenly withdrawn from school, with no immediate explanation from her mother. Furious and confused, Jin was immediately brought back to the family residence. It was then that Jin's mother explained her origins to her, to which Jin responded with disbelief and indignance, vehemently refusing to believe that her step-father was not her "real" father and that she was some divine creation, seemingly as her borderline-crazy grandmother described. It was not made fully clear to her exactly who her godly parent was-- whether she was somehow Athena's or Aphrodite's daughter, perhaps, or Poseidon's, or another. Jin's mother's memory was limited, but more limiting was her intense sense of honor, and her tryst with Zeus was as shameful to her as it was unbelievable to Jin-- and so she never explicitly told Jin who the other half of her parentage was. (Over time, that conviction that Jin was purely human decreased, especially as she uncovered more signs that she was the daughter of Zeus, though to this day she still refuses to acknowledge Zeus as her true father.) She was home-schooled for the next year, continuing her studies under a sage old tutor who, unbeknownst to her, was a satyr. Under the impression that her tutor was also a mystic, Jin began to learn control over her static shock capabilities-- something she'd just thought of as a strange, minor, supernatural quirk before. Those studies didn't get very far. Months after Jin turned seventeen, her mother yet again turned her world upside down. She was to be sent to Camp Half-Blood, some ridiculously-named camp in North America, for reasons unknown to her. Against her step-father's attempts to convince her otherwise, her mother made the final decision (which was really for Jin's own safety, as her family and satyr could not protect her any longer).

After accepting-- to an extent-- that Zeus was her father, Jin stopped training her static shock and electrical abilities, as she wanted nothing to do with him. She causes minor abnormalities in the weather when aggravated, and other strange effects with her electrical abilities, but nowadays, rarely does so intentionally.

Other/Extra:
Jin is a partially-observant Buddhist, meaning that she does meditate, sing Buddhist hymns, make offerings to the Bodhisattvas, and generally avoid eating meat. The existence of Greek/Roman gods has challenged that faith, but she insistently (stubbornly) maintains her beliefs and continues to practice.

Simply put Shane is a jackass. He refuses to take anything seriously and that can get him into trouble. While his pranks and tricks are often very clever, he has a knack for choosing the worst targets. Whether it is stuck up Athena kids or bullies from the Ares cabin, he always finds a way to eventually slither away from the punishment he deserves. Most kids either can't stand his "childish" attitude or they love how fun he is.

Deep down he's a nice and quiet kid who usually tries to do what is right. He prides himself on sticking up for the powerless kids who can't defend themselves because no one did so for him. Most of his flirting and attempted charm is an act he puts to hide insecurities.

Nationality: Puerto Rican/Haitian: American
Birthday: May 1st
Sexuality: Heterosexual

Rank: Centurion
Cohort: Second
Godly Parent: Jupiter
Years At Camp: 3
Power(s):

Natural Enhanced Capabilities of a Demigod.

Meditation:
Luke is a master of meditation and relaxation techniques. He can enter a trance-like state to ignore pain and slow his heart rate.

The Lightning Fist: Similar to the superhero Iron Fist, the ‘lightning fist’ itself is just one of many techniques employed by channeling the inner electrons in his body, a gift from his father. It is, however, the most devastating of the attacks allowing him to charge a single strike with the power of a speeding freight train if necessary but such a use must be warranted. The power is not to be used frivolously or irresponsibly. His father will not permit it. The strength of the Lightning Fist increases exponentially with the need and the evil it is faced with. There is also the very real possibility of the strike itself consuming the Lightning Fist at it’s upmost potential. With his fist in this state, Lucas can shatter wood and brick, rip through steel, and punch his opponents with extraordinary concussive force without sustaining injury to himself.

When Its called for he can channel his inner energy in his fist (whichever he chooses) causing them to glow into a crackling lightning blue. The lighting around his fist makes his skin extremely dense and nearly indestructible when active. With enough focus it bestows him with the force to take on an opponent many times tougher than just a regular human, or demigod.

Once used, it takes time for his energy to build up before the ‘lightning fist’ can be summoned again, but usually once it’s been used there’s no need for it again any time soon.

Weapon(s):
Shield: Modeled after the shackles the Amazons were once enslaved with. The shield was formed from the remains of his father's legendary Aegis shield, and were re-forged for his use by the God of the Forge. Luke's trained reflexes enable him to use the shield to easily deflect projectiles (such as arrows or bullets) and even energy blasts from beings. He is even fast enough to protect himself from multi-vector attacks. At close-range the shield block blades, weapons and punches. Luke has used the shield as a dual defensive/offensive weapon, redirecting energy blasts back to their point of origin or other targets. When focused, the shield generates a remnant of the Aegis itself, forming an impenetrable barrier just in front of them, allowing Luke to protect himself and those behind him from area attacks.

Strength(s):
ACROBATICS: Luke has shown himself capable of scaling buildings and running from branch to branch easily. His impressive stamina coupled with his free running skills almost allows him to outrun and capture someone riding a horse. He using this in combat while evading enemy fire.

Mixed Martial Artist: Learned from his mothers closest and near only friend, Micah, Lucas is very skilled combatant, which is why he and the children of Mars don't get along for the most part. Throughout his life, he's learn stints of various forms of combat. Including Capoiera, Savate, Krav Maga, WIng Chun, Dambe, Silat, Ninjitsu, Abir Qesheth (Ancient Hebrew). He blends these together into his own fighting style that relies on these fighting styles, his acrobatics and the occasional use of weaponry. with his gymnastics ability creating a style that suits his strengths and enables him to use his knowledge to the best of his ability. Luke has displayed all types of martial arts techniques from physical combat to chi manipulation.

Shieldmanship: His years of training and experience with his unique weapon, as well as its physical properties, allow him to accomplish amazing feats with the item. Aside from bashing foes and blocking incoming attacks, he is able to throw it with nearly perfect aim. Luke can hit multiple targets with the same throw by means of ricochet, and could even achieve a boomerang-like return effect.

Leadership Skills-- With tactics also comes leadership and though he might not always be the nicest or civil of leaders, the skills are definitely there. He is strong, intelligent, and quick on his feet and, above all, someone that his people seemingly look up to. They believe in him, thinking that he will be the one to be able to break down the barriers. And, for the most part, he believes that too.

Weaknesses:
Untrusting: He does not trust easily, and keeps his secrets, and the secrets he has been entrusted with, very well. He does not discuss information with others that he thinks they may not be privy to, nor does he think it his place to divulge the private information of others. He can be a very private and withdrawn man, but he does not let that stop him from being friendly or at least courteous with others. This can sometimes get in the way of his work when he doesn't share information as readily as his teammates might like.

Family: Another obvious weakness, and until this day, the people he calls his family are some of the only people whom he would truly give up everything for. Of Course Luke has a few close friends whom he would give everything up for as well, but it is only these select few whom he holds close to his heart. It is because of this that although they can be his greatest strength, they are also his greatest weakness as well.

Anger: One weakness which is slightly unique with Luke would be his anger. He isn't the kind to become some sort of murderous person the moment he is angered, but it is true that he angers rather easily, especially in tense situations. He knows how to hold his own and keep his cool, but there have been times where he has simply just...snapped. These moments aren't all too common though, and most likely won't happen all that much.

Merciless: Not like most others, Luke is not opposed to using deadly force when it comes to coping with his adversaries. Although he will refrain from delivering death blows right from the beginning, if it becomes clear that there is no other means to attain victory then he will be more than willing to compromise his status to win.

Luke has dislocated his left shoulder so many times, it's prone to slip from its socket with a jarring force.

Due to a training injury he has little no peripheral vision on his left side, meaning he cannot see out of the corner of his left eye. This puts him at a disadvantage if he needs to look to his left side.

In order to use the lightning fist, Luke needs to have uninterrupted concentration to focus his energy With no chance to focus....weak hands.

By using his electrons, Luke exhausts his reserves and can become greatly fatigued for several hours with repeated use.

Personality:
To put it simply, Lucas Cain does not take life lying down. If he wants something, he goes for it. Often this makes him come across as reckless, arrogant, or calloused, and while at times he can be each of these things, his intentions tend to be met with at least a half-hearted effort to do the right thing (which usually causes him to do what good people cannot for the betterment of the situation). For Lucas, the goal comes first. This mentality leaves him with little sympathy for people's feelings and zero remorse for breaking the law. Sometimes the law, after all, is something that must be sacrificed for the greater good. When it comes time to get the job done, Luke is more than confident in his ability to do so. He believes himself to be superior in many ways to many people.

Through all of his bravado and showmanship, however, there is a small part of Luke that still is focused on doing it by the law. But he truly believes that after all he's done, maybe he's meant to bear the burden of "the hard choice" so that others don't have to and so that people like Kronos don't have the opportunity to tear cities apart.

Lucas does not really see the world in shades of gray like most others, but there is right, and there is wrong, though which is which can often be hard to see. He does not hold back from killing if it is just. He always tries to respond with equal force, but he does not forbid himself from killing the way some of his friends do.

With that understanding, he does hold himself to the laws of whatever nation he is currently in, and he tries to abide by their ways and respect their culture unless it flies in the face of his own. His interactions with his friends are often warm, and supportive. He tries to be a shoulder to lean on, and a listening ear. He will correct if needed, but he will try to do so kindly. Amongst the public eye he is far more rigid, a man of nobility and protocol, often silent and thoughtful. He does not often smile when removed from the company of his friends or companions.

History:
Born on a stormy May night Lucas into the world to very humble beginnings. At the time his mother Makayla was a star player on the high school basketball team but other than that the Cain family had nothing to its name. Add to that the fact that Luke's birth wasn't really accepted by his mom's parents and the two were pretty much on their own from the beginning.

Forced into early parenthood Luke's mom tried to do her best by him. She dropped out of school and took on two jobs to take care of him. They never had a glamorous life but for the most part she kept their heads above water and Luke grew up with a good relationship with his mom.

As Luke continued to grow he learned a lot from his mother's example. He learned to value hard work and dedication and they were values that stuck with him as he always had to work for the things he wanted. This was true especially as he seemed to develop a natural athleticism rising up to become a star quarterback at his school in Concord, along with learning the art of combat from his mom's best friend Micah who was ex-military. He grew by leaps and bounds over his classmates and as he became a better player he also become a strong leader on his team.

Luke was brought to the Wolf House at a slightly older age of fifteen and there discovered he was a child of Jupiter. After being trained by Lupa he made the arduous trip to Camp Jupiter not sure what he would find when he got there. Unfortunately he was not a legacy and when he arrived he discovered his father's name wouldn't necessarily win him any respect so as had always been the case he learned that he would have to work to prove himself a valued member of his cohort.

It didn't take long however to see that Luke would fit in. He was quickly assigned to the second cohort a began rising through the ranks. After being with the cohort a little over a year he was on assignment when his centurion was killed in battle. Luke stepped up to fill in the missing role and eventually led the second cohort to success. When they arrived back at Camp he was officially voted in as a centurion and started a new era in his service to New Rome.

Though somewhat new to leadership Luke has taken to it with the same fire and determination that he has had with everything in his life. While he still probably has a lot to learn he seems to have the ability and drive for success. Only time can tell if he will be able to handle the stress of leadership but for now he seems to be ready to give his all for New Rome and the legion.

Other/Extra: Is hopelessly in love with his fellow Centurion Danica Vaughn

Your character is too overpowered. Not only does he have immense power with seemingly no limits, but he also has a shield that makes it so that he can't he hit, and he can take on hordes of enemies by himself.

His stamina and skill with meditation also seem to belong more in the 'powers' category. Winter Saint Winter Saint
