Esme has taken to notice that Ander has a very leader-like persona. She likes that about him. She sees the way he brings himself around the camp with confidence and logic, and for that only, she respects him. They hit it off nicely, becoming closer over time. Now, Ander is a guy that Esme would protect with her soul. She loves him like brother, and feels extremely comfortable around him. She enjoys working and talking with him and trusts his judgement more than any one elses.Very rarely do you see her on the opposite side as him.

GEMINI | eclipsa
From the first day that Esmeralda stepped onto camp, Gemini has always been there. Right away she saw Gemini's independance and intelligence. And as they became closer, she got to see her loyal side as well. Esme cares deeply for Gemini. Often more than she does for herself. Esme will always consider her and Gem's friendship above everyone elses.

OPHELIA // qwerty;
Ophelia and Esme are like two crows against a scare crow. They're each other's ride or die. Esme is always on her side when it comes down to having to get dirty with someone. She enjoys Ophelia's company, and considers her a unique fighter. She cares for Opehlia, and often you won't see Esme in a fight without Ophelia nearby. Vice versa. You fuck with Opehlia, you fuck with her. Point blank.

ARI // caramel
The relationship that Ari and Esme have is kind of unusual but nevertheless sweet. They have very contrasted personalities. But even so, Esme holds Ari to a high level. Reason being is, when everyone else might be bullshitting her, Esme will always know that Ari won't. Esme trusts Ari to keep it real with her, and in turn Esme keeps it real with Ari. Its a no bullshit friendship, and Esme often finds herself being able to talk to Ari more comfortably than anybody else without worrying about how she'd look in the eyes of others. Esme's goofy side often appears when shes with Ari.

JACE | caramel
Jace is in the top 5 people that Esme has utmost respect for. She regards Jace with such elegance and priority, that if you touch Jace, then you're dead to her. She loves Jace, even more than she'd admit, and considers them like an older sibling. Esme loves to comment on others with Jace. She enjoys being within Jace's company because they remind her of herself. Esme loves Jace. Its that simple.

ADDISON | L Lutalica
Esme cares a lot about Addison. Compare them to a mother and a daughter. Esme feels the urge to always want to protect Addison. Whenever Addison is around, Esme is always smiling, no matter which mood she was in before. She hates seeing Addison sad, and honestly would beat your ass if she even found out that you had anything to do with it. Secretly, if she could adopt Addison as a daughter, Esme would.

KEENAN | L Lutalica
Esme and Keenan are literally a brother and sister. Keenan is her best friends (Gem) boyfriend afterall. Esme picks on him and threathens him and is always making fun of him, but deep down he does matter to her and he's probably the only guy she'd accept as Gemini's boyfriend. She respects his way of thinking, and loves to mess with him a lot. But of course, she'd never admit that she considers him a close friend.

FRIENDS

ROWEN | eclipsa
On first impression, Esme didn't think she'd like Rowen. Rowen was wild. A crazy motherfucker. But as she got to obsserve Rowen more and more and interacted with her a few times, she saw that Rowen wasn't as bad as she thought. She admired Rowen's passion and honesty and they became friends, but of course, she'll still tell Rowen to calm tf down.

RUEBEN | eclipsa
From the moment she saw him at camp, Esme thought he was adorableeeee. Can you blame her? He wasn't claimed by Venus for nothing. She didn't talk to him right awAy though, not because she was scared (which she wasnt) but because he was a bit too emotional for her. It annoyed her a lot. But, talking to him wasn't so bad. She didn't bore out when they talked, and that was good. He didn't say anything stupid, which was also good. Esme likes him, and thinks hes a good guy overrall. She just thinks he needs to take an ibuprofen for his feels.

donovan: she was terrified of him when she met him, she was terrified of her own shadow. but he helped her through her first few months of camp and she slowly fell in love with him. she doesn’t know exactly when she fell in love with him, but she does know she aches every day that they’re not together.
timber: one of her best friends in the entire world tbh. she’ll fuck anyone up over timber.

rowen: since rowen is unclaimed, caci moved her into the persephone cabin and helps her take care of laurel. they’re literally best friends. funny how they’re practically sisters.

brier: he’s the world’s best uncle even if she is the world’s most begrudging niece. she talks to him about rai a lot, and he talks her out of murder a lot.

ander: she’s 100% in love with him but she doesn’t know how to deal with that so she pretends she’s not even though she has a tendency to sneak into his cabin to sleep because of her nightmares.
rai: she tries to stop rowen from embarrassing caci but she fails.
beau: her first friend at camp. she’d literally kill someone if he asked her to.
rowen: her second friend at camp. will put you down in a heartbeat if you touch her.
acacia: tries to protect her tbh.
addison: would die for her okay. another third of the girl trinity that scares children.

LORELEI
ander: she has four whole friends and he’s one of them. she’s just chill with him, uses him to get what she wants. the fear surrounding him suits her needs.
caelius: one of the four people she calls her friends. although she kind of wants to call him something more than a friend but she’d never admit it to anyone — especially him. doesn’t stop her from fucking with the people he sleeps with tho.
grey: even though she pushes them away literally all the time, she would kill for them. and has fucked up a few bitches for misgendering them.
addison: it all started with a sparring match that went on for what seemed like hours due to their ability to practically fuel the other, now it's turned into a friendship that surprises lorelei. the only person she doesn't push away, because she feels stronger in addison's presence.

gemini: welcomed her to the camp, so she talks to her like once a day maybe.

Caelius has paramount respect for exceptional beauty and feisty attitudes. These are a mere few of the components that entice Caelius to antagonize Fallon Theroux. Frankly, he wouldn't mind being stabbed with the heel of a stiletto. Thus he aims to flirt with her any time she pops into his diabolical view. And every time she gets more and more aggressive with her reactions, it only encourages him more. Being the bane of her existence is a pleasure. But the two do have more going on than just banter; they're your prime hatesex duo. She is his go-to hook up and he does the same for her, mostly to vent out frustration and whatnot. He does steal some of her sanity (a handy component of his powers) nearly every time to keep himself balanced, but not enough that she'll miss it ... too dearly, that it.

Clark Vega

How these two clicked is beyond normal mortal comprehension. But, nonetheless, it did happen. Clark is his designated 'dad friend on crack,' so to speak. Caelius is the bad influence. But it's Clark's fault for tagging along. While Caelius just adores the grunge-y loner boy aesthetic, if he saw Clark alone, chilling would definitely take place.

Lorelei Yvonne Mazilis

In the beginning, most would be under the impression that a classic slow burn dynamic would develop between the two chaotic demigods. And it appeared that way chiefly due to the fact that the first interaction they endured was Lorelei demanding he give her his jack and Caelius refusing to give her what she wanted. However, the two are now at a point where he would rather be around her than not. Caelius has a relationship with Lorelai that's hard to capture in words. They're similar in many ways, given their origins, and so of course he's drawn to her — and hits on her like the trash he is. He will stick with her whether she wants him to or not, because he's not so easily deterred. The more she pushes the more he pulls.

Jace Lauren Katsanis-Anthony
[ (Best) Friends / Drinking Buddies ]
Drinking can pull any two people together. Jace and Caelius' friendship is one born from alcohol, where the two lamented their pasts and cheered to assholes being with Hades. They throw copious amounts of shade when they're drunk. Sadly, they're not too good at hiding the fact that they are both shitfaced and talking shit. Lack of tact or morality, take your pick. Caelius can and will snap your fingers if you mess with Jace. They're a portion of that small, inner circle of people he'll 'square up' for. Do not purposefully misgender them in his presence it'll be the last thing you do.

Lola Anita Baeuregard
[ Hook-up / Smol (Baddie) Angel ]
Caelius and Lola have a relationship that is completely unholy and absolutely adorable all at once. They started hooking up awhile back, and frankly, Caelius adores her. When he's upset, he typically goes straight to the small, sassy girl. But the transition from heavy making out and dirty talk to him picking her up like a child when she wants to be held is stark. It is a promise that if anyone (besides himself) messes with this girl, they will be put six feet under. It's also not uncommon to catch her plopping into his lap and them making out right then in there, an act that usually has everyone blushing from the lack of discretion.

Carter Isaac White

If you asked him why he enjoys provoking Carter, Caelius wouldn't have a concrete answer. He doesn't need any justification for it; he gets a kick out of riling up his fellow demigod, simple as that. A few of his favorite capers to pull on Carter include not only hitting on his girlfriend (almost always in his presence), but his sister, too. The two of them bicker nonstop. Carter, at this point in time, thinks of Caelius as more of an enemy than anything. Contradictory to what you might expect, Caelius doesn't exactly feel the same. If he didn't have so much fun watching Carter's expressions as he irritates him he would probably 'be cool' with the boy. It's also not uncommon to see Caelius jumping Carter with a small shank just to test the latter's reflexes — this ends in many painful arm twists and scratches.

Addison Einin White

Just to get under her brother's skin, Addison and Caelius engage in a bit of flirting. But they only go so far to irk the boy; Caelius doesn't ever push it or ask her to do more than she's willing to do, because in the grand scheme, she's not the really goal. It's fun seeing her brother's expressions, though.

Vanessa Lark Mire

Caelius is both evil and insane, that we all know, and when a girl as gullible as Vanessa Mire strolls along who doubles as the daughter of the God of sexual desire, you can bet he'll use that silver tongue of his and partake in whatever she wants. There's nothing really special there, just your classic hook-up and perhaps a few white lies to mess with her.

CLARK VEGA : if you looked up the definition of "trainwreck" you'd see their pictures next to it bc that's their relationship tbh. surface-level interactions are Great bc all ophelia does is look him straight in the eye and say terrible r-rated things and laughs when he drops what he's holding. but she's trash at emotionally connecting with people and voicing her feelings and she never takes an opportunity to let him know how much he means to her so he just doesn't Know. she sleeps with him and then is gone when morning comes bc she has no idea how to express romantic love?? someone smack sense into her.

JACE KATSANIS-ANTHONY : oK where do i even start tbh. ophelia and jace's relationship started out as a hookup but jace is so Good and ophelia just wants to protect them always. they take herbal baths together and ophelia learned how to give a massage just for them and honestly like jace just brings out her Sift side. she calls them "jace my saving grace" and like.. do not harm even a hair on jace's head bc ophelia will murder you brutally.

XANDER MYERS : xander didn't even do anything to him ok kaspar just saw him and his thought process was probably like "lol what a nice guy the world is going to squash him like a bug" and now he's just... unnecessarily mean to xander for absolutely no reason bye.
ADDISON WHITE : he doesn't know how to explain what he feels for her yet, but she's the first person to not trip his defenses and make him feel somewhat at peace, even if it's just for a while. when he's with her he almost forgets that he's the child of a god of war because she brings out the human in him in a way no one else has ever done. he doesn't know what she is to him yet but he does know that he cares for her and — and honestly? it scares him, just a little bit. he's never felt so out of his depth before.
ESMERALDA PRATTIS : he considers her a major source of competition for him (even if he'll never admit it to her face), and if they're not fighting each other in a training room they're fighting each other outside a training room. they commonly butt heads, especially since they're both children of gods of war but, while athena doesn't like war, ares does. he appreciates her fighting capabilities at the very least.
LOLA BEAUREGARD : she regularly claims that she'll murder him and he reacts with just as much emotion as he's reacted every time before that: none at all. if anything, he goes out of his way to provoke her more. he says what he knows will piss her off and does what he knows will move her to anger bc he feels absolutely No Remorse about feeding off of others' rage. in a weird way he's kind of protective of her bc he'll fight her but you can't.
CAELIUS ANGELIS : kaspar has never felt such hatred towards someone before, and considering the kind of environments he grew up in, that's saying a lot. usually he's the one getting under others' skin, not the other way around, but caelius manages to provoke his rage in a way that no one was ever able to before. the only comfort he gets is from knowing that it's a mutual thing and caelius detests him just as much. summarily, if caelius is found dead from mysterious causes one day, kaspar probably did it.
CARTER WHITE : admittedly, so far kaspar's only connection to carter is addison, but from the little he does know he respects him, and he's well aware that sooner or later, they're going to have to have a Talk. as of right now, though, all kaspar really does is avoid pointed questions about his relationship to addison.

XANDER MYERS : has a Big Ugly crush on him but doesn't want to ruin their friendship by pushing. xander is honestly one of the best things to ever happen to her, if not the best thing. she didn't realize just how important he was to her until she literally couldn't imagine a life without him in it --- which is exactly why she's not going to say anything about her feelings, because she'd rather he be in her life as a close friend than confess and risk pushing him away.
GREER BJORN : candie loves greer a lot, there's no going around that. their personalities may seem vastly different at first glance, but their friendship is one that allows them to complement each other nicely. she thinks greer is one of the sweetest people she's ever met and will not hesitate to (try and) fight you for greer.

CLARK VEGA : "bro you need to get out more" "dude i promise it's not that bad" "people are great just give them a chance pls" derek's naturally extroverted personality contrasts starkly with clark's more reserved one, but it works out somehow. derek is kind of Trash tho bc he just drags clark to raging night clubs after promising it's "just a small thing, you'll be fine" and basically throws clark in the deep end and watches him flounder oops
ROWEN RICHARDS : honestly like one of his best friends ok she means!!! so much to him!!! and he respects her so gd much bc she's been through so much and come out on top of it all. he's well aware that she can more than handle herself but that doesn't mean he'll hesitate to destroy you if you even Think about hurting her, even a little. he's usually either talking sin with her or listening to her about donovan or both tbh
REUBEN FAWZI : one of his favorite people on the planet. derek can commonly be found breaking down reuben's door with food in his hands bc, while he has mad respect for reuben's art skills, he also doesn't want him to pass out from lack of nutrition bc he's too focused on painting or drawing. highkey always keeps an eye on reuben bc the one time he didn't reuben (almost??) drank paint water so he took Precautions to avoid that ok. (sounds technical but actually he just scribbled PAINT WATER and NOT PAINT WATER on two mugs.)
BRIER EUN : derek doesn't even know where to Begin with how or what he feels for brier because he hasn't really felt it before; and, if he has, it's only ever been a far more diluted version and something that he's never wanted to feel again because his past defined love in the form of take take take and give give give. brier makes him want to try again, makes him want to give although brier's never asked to take. maybe, just maybe, there's something worth trying again for

ioannis -- two tall boys in the same boat makes for good company when the day is over and they just want to escape...in the booze carter creates. while they haven't really talked much, seeing as the dionysus boy has only been there for two days, the duo will eventually find themselves bros on the downlow.
kaspar -- the debate between thanking the guy for keeping addison company or intervening between whatever relationship they might be forming is Strong. "...so how do you know her again????"
caelius "kale" -- how their whole debacle started is beyond him, and how fast it progressed is rather amusing. they keep each other light on their feet - from impromptu stabs to wrestling down a damn hill. perhaps it doesn't help dear kale there flirts with two of the most important people in his life but such is life; caelius just seems to enjoy making his Hell. they'll get their shit together...one of these days...

saffron -- to describe what saffron is to carter is like describing the entirety of life in one word. whether it seems impossible or not, he can't wrap his head around one quality he'll like more than all of her at once. through all the crap they've been through, they're still somehow together, and carter isn't about to throw it all away because of another damn camp.

ioannis -- her giant of a best sarcastic friend. while he calls her the daughter of memeus, and him annis, the two makeup their snark with countless "hypothetically speaking's" and hugs when neither of them feel like talking upfront. she cares for him like a brother, and seeing as she has only a few of those she tries to protect him as much as possible.
greer -- the girl appreciates cold personalities - and luckily in this case, it takes a bit of a literal sense. addison adores talking to greer simply because they have quite a lot in common, and there's nothing she wouldn't do to help her out if she ever needed something.
timber -- addison loves timber like a sister and would easily do anything for her. there are struggles they similarly share, and addison is prepared to walk step by step through all of it if she can. besides...that girl trinity tho.
rowen -- another sister figure tho ngl. how many times addison has vented about her feelings towards a particular boy is too much to count. she holds all the respect to her favorite netherbabe.
caelius -- highkey wants to be left out of whatever he has going on with her brother, lowkey fuels her because she thinks carter deserves a bit of the hassle. he's making it difficult to get to kaspar now tho damnit.

Andre: These two met via Elspeth and for a long time, Greer haven't really talked to him until recently when she asked for book recommendations. Born a friendship that flourished, and Greer truly met someone she consistently enjoys talking to.

Candie: Greer has maternal instincts around her, it's uncontrollable. She's fond of her lively attitude and welcomes the kind nature. They exchange gifts and Greer listens to Candie's problems, and in return, she teaches her how to make friends.

Addison: One of her closest, and a girlfriend she absolutely adores. They both share a sense of coldness, and the feelings that come with it are the memories of someone from Greer's past. And she unwittingly latches on to Addison because of it.

Elspeth: Greer and Elspeth share a bond of understanding, and the acute awareness of each other's needs and preferences often to communicate with one another. She treats her like one of her sisters and is the first person she goes to if she wants to talk to someone and would the same for her.

Matty: He's her brother, and on this list now as the person she truly cares about. Matty is the first person to ever talk to Greer in camp, to teach her more about her powers, fighting with weapons and he's someone she could playfully connect with. Times she find him annoying, like every big brother should be are secretly endearing. She'd do anything for him because she sees him a bit like her hero, her saviour.

FRIENDS.
Clark: They would spend time together occasionally, bonding over how socially inept they are, agreeing how much easier it is to just sit around and spend time with oneself quietly. That is until their mutual drags both of them off somewhere. Greer also loves celebrating their birthdays considering they're so close to each other.

Derek: Apart from drinking together and just... chatting, Greer is considerably casual with him and they only ever spend time together every once in while. But when does moments strike, he tends to encourage her to talk to people which may or may not get a bit annoying-- but she's adjusted to it.

Caci: Another relaxed relationship, they don't seem to do much than talk. Not that Greer is complaining, she likes it that way and is more than happy to be appreciative of these small moments.

Reuben: He gives her flowers, he's nice and friendly to her and he's a good-looker. What's possibly not to like about him? They make the occasional small and it always will brighten her day.

Haruka: The Swede haven't talk to her much, but she's quite impressed at the combat prowess she presents. Plus, she was there when Haruka 'accidentally' stabbed someone so the girl has made an impression on her. So far, their only form of contact is Greer accepting some nice succulents for her birthday.

Fallon: They sparred once, and while brief. A glimpse of personality made Greer feel that Fallon is not too bad. There's a mutual respect between them.

Ophelia: Greer doesn't bother herself. Though they do seem to have an understanding where they let each other do their own thing, so another mutual respect situation is called for.

Timber: Well, they don't hate each other.

Gemini: They're on casual basis, but Greer doesn't know her well enough. She seems nice though.

Keenan: They train together every so often, but like a few other people Greer knows, she is unable to get to know him better.

Fabien: With the harmony in their powers, these two make a great combat duo. Particularly, Greer gets to train her more ice based powers during their pair training. Fabien does seem to like hanging around her. She's been told it's the air conditioner quality of herself, but she doesn't mind the attachment since Fabien shares enough ice puns to amuse. It's a shame they could spend more time with each other. They'd definitely be friends if they did.

if you offered lola a dollar to murder kaspar, she’d agree to it and tell you to keep the money. the russian has done nothing but piss her off ever since she met him and if ancestry.com is right, since their great-great grandpas met each other. accusing someone of poultry theft is no joke, man. kaspar picks at her height, insults her choice in weaponry, makes light of her death threats, and throws her heels (and sometimes lola herself) in the lake. still, lola feels a fierce protectiveness towards kaspar as if she the only one who can hate him this much.

Reuben was one of the people in that threesome she had that one time. That was fun.
Lola was also one of the people in that threesome. Nessa finds her very pretty and enjoys her company, they're friends really, but that's all they can be, right? Every crush that Nessa has ever had she's pushed away because she doesn't think it can really work out. After all, her father's not just the god of sexual desire, he's also the god of unrequited love. She often resolves to avoid Lola but always finds herself rushing over to speak to her: she never was very persistent with her claims.

Andrés is really nice, and Xander likes him just because of that. Is there even a better reason to like someone?
Kaspar is basically the opposite, Xander finds him mean and struggles to remember what he did to offend him, if anything at all. He's pretty sure he never did anything to start the dislike off, but that's not to say he hasn't aggravated Kaspar on purpose since it started. Hey, you can't get along with everyone, right?
Lorelei is just... Lorelei. That's exactly the problem. They hooked up, but the thing is, Xander kind of literally got hooked. Temporarily at least. It's not a romantic attraction, there's just something about her that makes him nervous and brings a blush to his cheeks-- maybe the blush comes from the memories of the hookups. Anyway, he's not in love with her, he doesn't even really have a crush, but that doesn't mean he doesn't act like a little lost puppy sometimes or trip over himself to greet her when she passes by.
Candie makes Xander nervous, but for a whole host of other reasons beside the obvious 'she's so attractive' part. He never intended to fall for the girl, but in the end it ended up being too hard to ignore how he feels about her. Still, it doesn't mean he's ever told her, he says he's still working up the courage but really he doesn't know if he'll ever be able to. Maybe she doesn't feel the same way. Maybe she'd be creeped out. Maybe she wouldn't want to be friends. Candie means a whole lot to Xander and he just can't risk losing her ; he can just settle for staring everytime she looks away, or buying her flowers 'as a friend', or kissing her forehead. If it's meant to be, it'll be, he supposes. He just hopes it'll happen soon.
Ari can do whatever the hell he wants as far as Xander is concerned, just so long as Ari doesn't involve Xena in anything. If he can keep his alcohol and his drugs and his words and his hands and god knows what else to himself, Xander will be content to just ignore him. If he can't, he'll probably end up trying to argue with him. He doesn't really know what's actually happening between that guy and Xena, but he does know that whatever it is, he's not okay with it. Probably. Not that it's his decision. He just wants to protect her.

Ioannis is so far the only friend Nadia has made in her few days of being at camp. So far she's isn't really sure if he considers her to be a friend, but she's hoping for the best-- the girl has always been optimistic, after all. Basically he wasn't the first person she approached and she's sort of latched on a bit; her affectionate nature means she's already gotten attached. She's hoping that they'll become good friends and she'll be able to keep hanging around with him. Bonus: he's super, super hot.

Xander is her best friend in many ways. He knows everything there is to know about her --apart from the things she'd rather he not know-- and is her protector. They're twins, alike in some ways and different in others. She cares about him deeply but his over protective nature can be annoying, as can him running his mouth and getting himself into fights then leaving her to deal with the aftermath-- usually a cut lip she has to dab at.
Kaspar and Lorelei are not people Xena has particularly notable relationships with, but while she doesn't personally know them a lot, she knows of them. Their relationships with her brother have led to a natural suspicion and possible dislike from the girl.
Ari is great fun. They've been flirting for a while, he rolled her her first cigarette, and her second. They aren't officially together, and Xena doesn't want to be anything more than friends-- at least, that's what she's told Xander. In truth, Ari's the first guy who's ever actually made her feel weak, and that's something that's both exhilarating and frightening at the same time. While they aren't an actual couple, Xena kind of hopes it's only a matter of time before they are, although she's too nervous to bring it up in case she loses the flirty friendship that they've developed. Out of everyone he's definitely the person she flirts with the most, by a long shot.
