  • ;; remi
    name : remi
    age : 20
    race : hylian
    sexuality : pansexual
    gender : nonbinary
pronouns : they/them , but will accept any

physical appearance: remi is of average height, standing at just about 5'6''. however, this doesn't mean they aren't strong; they're of a slightly hefty weight, and most of it is muscle from their years of working on the stables. they have broad shoulders and stand confidently at most times, but they always have a soft smile on their face.

persona: remi is a sweetheart through and through. they love to make others smile and laugh, and can often be seen as the life of the party. sometimes they're a bit too loud and rowdy for other people, and they often don't know when to quit. they're also incredibly impulsive, and always assume things will work out for the best, so they have a very unrealistic sense of danger.

history: born on a stable, remi grew up on the countryside of hyrule, traveling from place to place with their family to transport horses, never staying in one spot. they were born with an unnatural strength, and helped out immensely as a stable hand, though they were always too heavy handed and loud to tame horses. the traveling group came to one of the stables they were working at, and remi immediately felt a calling to join them, sure they could put their strength to good use.

    extra:
    - basically the group bruiser
    - completely untrained in weaponry but won stablewide wrestling competitions each year, so, helpful?
    - probably fought an lynel with their bare hands at one point
    - the one to randomly break out into song
    - completely tone deaf, unfortunately
    - probably constantly dragging the group into unwanted adventures
    - also the one saying "the real reward was the friends we made along the way!" completely unironically
    - used to traveling and doesn't understand when the others get tired of walking or riding
    - constantly attracting monsters to them with their loudness
    - collection of monster teeth and bones
    - you'd think they'd be good with animals, as the one growing up around horses, but nope. they scare every animal off
    - they have, however, ridden a bear through sheer will
    coded by reveriee.

Name: Atara
Age: 19
Race: Sheikah/Gerudo mix
Sexuality: bisexual
Gender: female
Pronouns: she/her

Physical appearance: Atara is 5’7” and rather lithe, though she isn’t exactly exceeding when it comes to strength she makes up for it in speed and grace. For the most part she takes on a Sheikah looking appearance: with pointed ears, pale skin, and snowy white hair. Although she gets her emerald green eyes from her Gerudo side.

Personality: Atara is the quiet, antisocial type. Not one for conversation and not too into depth when it comes to details. If one gets to know her, she might become a little more open and cheerful. Even with her shy exterior, she still knows better than to take disrespect or unwanted attention and will become snappy with someone if they show such qualities.

History: Growing up, she was picked on as a child for being different. She was primarily raised by her father, who trained her in swordsmanship and fighting. Often times, without his knowledge, she would run off and practice with a bow. Since she was born and raised in Kakariko her life wasn’t the most interesting. She was raised to do what all Sheikah do, protect the royal family. Although, personally, that was never what Atara wanted with her life. She, when she got the chance to see her mother, much preferred the life of a Gerudo. Due to this, her father had a tendency to limit the time she was actually allowed to see her mother in Gerudo and mostly allowed her mom visitation in Kakariko.

Extra:
— She can sing really well, but has a tendency to not do so.
— She loves the heat, surprisingly even with as pale as she normally is her skin tans easily versus burning.
— Excellent with a bow and sword, mediocre with a spear (not due to lack of her mother trying)
— Very good with horses, her father taught her how to ride and tame at a young age.
— She is, also, very talented at shield surfing and even sand seal riding.
— Has her own variety of colors in Gerudo clothing.
— Naturally gets embarrassed about the little things.
— Skip the BS or else persona.

Name: Kotori
Age: 10 (physically & mentally), 86 (or so, spiritually)
Race: Korok/Kokiri
Sexuality: asexual
Gender: female
Pronouns: she/her

Physical Appearance: Kotori stands at 4’3” and appears like a child, barely weighing a thing. She has short green hair and piercing red eyes, looking almost similar in appearance to that of a Hylian. Because of her size, she is easily underestimated and therefore tends to have an advantage.

Personality: Sweet, intuitive, and happy are some easy words to describe Kotori. She is a ball of energy, often times found playing some sort of game with the Korok’s or the kids at stables. She is very in tune with nature due to her heritage, loving and caring for all creatures. She is also an empath, being able to detect the emotions that others are feeling.

History: Kotori is a forest spirit and in reality she doesn’t remember too much about her past. She was gifted a fairy, as all Kokiri are, and lived a life in Korok forest. She followed the great deku trees preachings and often times could be found playing with the Koroks around the forest. She also grew up playing with children at the stables when she would go around with Hestu on her adventures. Always coming back home to Korok forest at the end. Therefore, the forest is where she tends to stay guarding the master sword and spending time with her “siblings.”

Extra:
— Has a fairy
— Can place magic on weapons, fixing them and making them stronger.
— Even though she is “ageless,” she can still die.
— Messenger of the forest, helps solve all the puzzles and guards the master sword.
— Has a strange fascination with fireflies.
— Loves all animals and is naturally calming to them, same thing with plants and people.
— Loves adventure and new things.

Name: Princess Mina
Age: looks 18 to 20
Gender: female
Sexuality: bisexual
Apperance:
76827c70acb23eae41a940cc853ab191.jpg

Personality: Mina is something of a sweet and sour personality one moment insulting a person and the next encouraging them. She is a rather curious person and before leaving home did desire some adventure. When it comes to a fight Mina uses her power over shadows to fight over weapons, and should the tables turn she will defiantly stand her ground. Being royalty she can be a bit arrogant enjoying others adding her title when addressing her. That being said she is not stuck on formalities and if she is annoyed she will make it known instead of playing games.

Bio: Mina is the child of the queen of twilight Midna and the hero of twilight. She has yet to get an answered about when exactly they managed that feat given their issues during the adventure. Regardless they managed it and with her mother shattering the twilight mirror she grew up in the twilight realm. With ganadorf slain and his influence gone peace returned to the realm. Mina would grow up in a peaceful land hearing the stories of the adventure of her father and mother over and over. Wanting to one dat see the land of light herself Mina would study all the magic she could seeking a way to enter the realm with the mirror shattered.

In time Minda would start to age and weaken as Mina grew in power likely signaling that Midna would soon retire. Still with this boost in power Mina decided to use all her knowledge to try to enter the world of light. She had thought if she could get to the other world then she could get back, this turned out not to be the case as without Mina knowing someone else helped her breach the realms. Now she is trying to find a way back not having meant to stay in the world of light for long.

Name : Link, Linkey, Sky
Age: 23
Race: Hylian
Sexuality: Straight
Gender: Male
Pronouns: He/Him

Physical appearance: Sky is abit below average height, standing at just about 5'4'. however, this doesn't mean he is weak; He is sort of a slightly hefty weight, and most of it is muscle from his time at the academy, followed by travel on his Loftwing and his journey. He also has lighting scars along the right side of his body from his fight with Demise/Skyward Strikes along with various other scars he keeps hidden by his clothes.

Persona: Sky is a humble person through and through. He loves to make others smile and laugh, and can often be seen as the dad of a group since he is always willing to lend a hand, he doesn’t anger easily, but when he does, run.

History: It’s been said that it takes a village to raise a child, and that is certainly true for Sky, born and raised on Skyloft his entire life, he lost his mother when he was very young due to a sickness that swept through that killed many. When he was nine, his father who was part of the air patrol, went on his night round one evening, his group encountered a group of rouge Skytails that escaped the Thunderhead, Sky who was supposed to be in bed, had snuck out to greet his father at dawn like always, was only greeted by his father’s loftwing, only to learn from his father’s comrades that his father had perished.

After that, Gaepora, the headmaster and Zelda’s father, took the now orphaned Link into the academy and that is where he lived to the start of his journey where he learned of his destiny before settling on the Surface with Zelda and the others.

Thousands of years had passed since then and now despite being dead, he has joined with a rag-tag team to maybe finally end Demise once and for all.

  • Loves to nap when he can.
  • Is good at wood craving.

  • Feels Guilt since he more or less cursed his future incarnations along with Zelda’s.
  • Is right at home in cold climates thanks to Skyloft being so high in the air.
  • Somewhere down the line, he had become a mentor for a young Hero of Time in the form of the Fierce Deity, as a ghost in the current world, he doesn’t have full access to that power.
  • Was given the nickname Sky by Zelda, Linky by his wife. Answers more to Sky, answers to Linky to his wife only.
  • Is married, but not to Zelda, sees her more as a sister/good friend.

Zaris and Mirel

Age(s)
25 (Zaris), Unknown (Mirel)

Gender(s)
Both Male, both use He/Him/They/Them

Sexuality
Straight (Zaris), N/A (Mirel)

Race(s)
Hylian (Zaris), Maraudo Wolf (Mirel)

Physical Appearance(s)
Zaris stands at 5'10" with a moderately thin build and no shortage of stamina, the latter of which comes from extensive cliff-climbing and exploring the world as a whole. For his outfit, he wears a black hooded cloak with a plethora of dark brown nature motifs decking out the cape, mainly leaves and mountains, arranged symmetrically. In the exact center of the cape sits a front profile image of a wolf's head, as well. Beneath the cloak, Zaris wears a black coat with matching trousers. On his hands and feet, Zaris wears buckled gloves and boots. Zaris' outfit as a whole appears somewhat worn by the elements. Around Zaris' waist is a utility belt, on which is stored a handwoven Rupee pouch, a number of small tools, an intricately-detailed wooden flute, a storage pack, and perhaps most importantly, Zaris' weapon of choice-- a chain whip that is tipped with three sickle-like blades, reminiscent of a beast's claws.

Mirel looks like a typical Maraudo Wolf, but a closer look at him reveals a leather collar fit comfortably around the wolf's neck.

Persona(e)
Zaris is typically somewhat quiet around the humanoid races of Hyrule, preferring the company of animals to people. As such, while it isn't impossible to befriend him, it may take a bit of time before he truly warms up to anyone. He tends to be deadpan sarcastic, as when he refers to the Yiga Clan as "those banana-worshipping weirdos from Karusa Valley". Deep down, though, Zaris has a softer side, and he enjoys a good meal, primarily ones containing meat or fish. On his long trips across the land of Hyrule, he enjoys camping with his lupine companion and looking up at the moon and stars, along with writing about the flora and fauna he encounters along the way in his journal. Zaris has something of a personal credo when it comes to hunting-- he will only hunt animals that have not been already hurt by monsters.

Mirel is highly protective of Zaris, and thinks of him not just as his master, but also his friend. Anytime the wolf's keen nose and ears pick up trouble, they'll not be shy about making it known.

Bio
The lone son of a pair of veterinarians from Riasa Village to the west, it is said that Zaris' striking amber eyes stemmed from a blessing bestowed upon him by the guardian spirit of the woods before he was even born, after his parents helped to nurse a gravely injured wolf that had wandered into the village completely back to health despite the beast being almost completely at death's door. This unique feature of his proved to be a prime source of teasing and taunting from the other children of the village, leading him to prefer to spend time with his parents as they performed their duties with helping sick and injured animals, even going so far as to act as their assistant. What his parents found rather mysterious, however, was that with Zaris around, their patients seemed to be acting calmer and more accepting of surgeries than usual...

One night, on a trip into the woods to search for medicinal herbs, Zaris heard the pained cries of a wolf that had been caged by a band of Bokoblins. Thinking quickly, Zaris slew the lot of them before he turned his attention to the poor wolf. The beast had been positively battered and beaten, covered in slash marks and bruises, in addition to a broken hind leg. As Zaris approached them, the wolf immediately began to weakly snarl in defense, but nevertheless he carried on, remembering what he had been taught by his parents.

"There, there... it's okay. This'll only hurt for a bit, I promise."

Using materials from the crude Bokoblin camp as well as some herbs he had already gathered, Zaris worked quickly to mend the wolf's injuries despite their whines of protest. When all was said and done, Zaris carefully helped the wolf out of his prison, and with the glow of the nearby campfire, both pairs of yellow eyes met each other. Rather than simply running back off into the woods, the wolf seated themself upon the ground. Zaris slowly stuck out one hand with curiosity, and to his surprise, the wolf seemed to be inviting him to pet him after such a brief time together.

"Good boy... good boy, Mirel." Zaris said to the wolf, giving them a name of their own.

As Zaris headed back towards the village, he heard the soft padding of paws coming from behind, and when he saw the wolf following closely behind, he could only grin as he realized he had finally found a friend to call his own.

When Zaris was old enough to explore the world on his own, he would do so with his furry companion ever by his side. When Zaris' travels brought him into the woods near the village, he would feel an otherworldly presence pulsing from the ancient temple at its heart.

As of late, however, that presence seemed to have grown... faint?

Extra
- Zaris is quite nimble on his feet, and is capable of using his chain whip like a grappling hook to cross large chasms.
- If the duo happens to encounter a space too small for Zaris to fit through, he can send Mirel in to investigate.
- Zaris may allow others to pet Mirel, but as he warns the children who come to see him every time he returns to his home village of Riasa, "the wolf bites".
- When Zaris plays his flute, the melodies he plays are tributes to the different animal sounds he's heard throughout Hyrule-- the somber tones of a howling wolf and the staccato chirping of birds, to give examples.
- Zaris is highly skilled when it comes to animal medicine, and may not be shy about helping animals along the way.

Name: Keenan (actual name is Azrael but he'd rather not be known as the angel of death anymore)
Nickname(s): Ganon's chosen, Ghost, Kee, Captain annoying
Age: 21
Race: Sheikah/Yiga
Height: 6'1
Weight: 150 lbs
Sexuality: Heterosexual mostly
Gender: Male
Pronouns: He/him

Personality: With a seemingly nonchalant attitude and a carefree smile, at first glance Keenan appears to be a happy go lucky traveler subject to his whims and whims alone, never staying in one place for very long. A young man of mystery, he never reveals much about himself, instead changing the subject to before anyone can pry into his affairs. He keeps people at arms length even when he's been injured. He's also curious and intelligent, generally even friendly, but still possessing a smart mouth and cynical nature that takes some getting used to. Because it's hard to tell if he's merely teasing or insulting Keenan has a habit of rubbing people the wrong way. It doesn't exactly help that he's not afraid (usually) to tell people what he actually thinks either. If one were to use two words to describe him it would be unflappable and annoying as nothing seems to phase him. You could also say he has a rebellious streak since he doesn't always listen to authority.

Beneath this prickly, tough guy exterior however is a man who has experienced too much for someone his age. Having been brought up in the Yiga clan, Keenan has been trained to be a killer since the moment he could hold a weapon. He knows of the various ways to kill a man, how to use shadow magic to make himself unseen if he so chooses. He's seen more people die than he could count, enough that it's almost made him numb to tragedy. Keenan can talk about dark topics with an almost completely straight face that it scares even himself. In spite of all this he is nonetheless a sympathetic young man who perhaps surprisingly can do acts of kindness and not even bat an a eye. He likes helping people and is a softie deep down but gets visibly uncomfortable when anyone makes a remark about it.

Whether he's doing it out of the goddess of his heart or to preserve his slowly eroding humanity however remains to be seen. All Keenan knows is that he's terrified of what the future holds. There's a hungry, fiery heat boiling in his veins that no amount of water can quench and he must find a way to be rid of it lest his nightmares get worse.

History: Born in the Yiga clan, Keenan's life growing up was for the part what a destructive, banana obsessed, Ganon worshiping cult considered normal. From the time he could walk he was molded into a weapon to help further his clan's ambition, learning the arts of the ninja through the use of shadows and at least basic mastery of most weaponry. He was subject to intense training designed to break and bring him back even stronger, such as going through multiple obstacle courses full of things designed to kill him and days-long exercises in which he was allowed very little food or water until the mission was complete. At the age of 7 he had already killed his first man, progressing through the ranks rather quickly as the years went by with no signs of stopping. Showing potential at using elemental magic, by all appearances Keenan seemed like the perfect little soldier who would likely be leader of the clan once he came of age.

In secret within the comforts of his home however, his parents were doing all they could to prevent him from being completely brainwashed. Being lower in rank they weren't particularly skilled in fighting but instead served the clan in other ways, his mother being a blacksmith and father a teacher, positions that allowed them to not be under much scrutiny as long as they did their jobs. Both were part of a quiet faction which questioned the practices of the Yiga and their worship for Ganon, some disturbed by how little the higher ups cared about the rest of Hyrule and its inhabitants, while others wanted to throw themselves at the mercy of the Sheikah whether because of homesickness or for some peace quiet. As a result, Keenan was taught the basics of Hyrule beyond what the Yiga seemed keen at leaving out or distorting the truth.

"Remember that nothing is simply black or white. Question everything." His father would say, lightly poking at the skin and tissue protecting Keenan's heart, both sides of his temples. "And never ever let that kind spirit you hold truly disappear, even in a place of hardship like this."

Keenan took those words to heart. Some years went by, the missions getting more dangerous by the day. And on one of those particular missions, something horrible occurred, something so traumatic that even his own mind refused to let him remember. He woke up back in the Yiga hideout among some friends of his parents, seemingly unharmed other than having some ugly scars added to his collection, and was told that his parents had disappeared. One of the Yiga commanders even suggested that they might have abandoned him. Naturally, Keenan knew that was hogwash, but with his parents gone all he could do was mourn and keep his head down. Later he discovered that one of his scars had been infected with malice, and with some of the Yiga now saying he had been blessed by Ganon he decided it was time to get the hell out of dodge.

Tasked with either finding a way to kill or corrupt the great dragon Naydra, 17 year old Keenan saw his chance. Once he had gotten near the peak of Mount Lanaryu he faked his death and went on the run. Since than he's been traveling from place to place, never staying anywhere too long because bad luck seemed to be following him wherever he went. With his scar becoming more painful by the day he eventually decided to head to Kakariko village and throw himself at the mercy of his sworn enemies, the Sheikah.

Extra:
  • While he has a basic mastery of most weapons Keenan prefers using his trusty katana and shadow magic.
  • Keenan absolutely hates bananas, enough that mere smell of them makes him feel ill.
  • Ever since the 'accident' Keenan has noticed he can barely feel any pain (doesn't stop him from getting seriously injured or dying though) and that his tastebuds have dulled
  • He's a decent cook but usually uses a absurd amount of spices in his dishes so that he can actually taste some flavor
  • Has some bad insomnia and often volunteers for first watch
  • Refuses to use any dark magic for obvious reasons
  • Likes to give people nicknames
  • Loves animals even though most of them run at the mere sight of him
  • Never changes clothes in front of others
  • Can't hold his liquor, easily gets hangry

20211028_013653.jpg

✧ name: elith
✧ age: 23
✧ race: hylian
✧ sexuality: undecided, prefers men
✧ gender: male
✧ pronouns: any, but will choose 'he/him' if asked

✧ appearance: elith is tall and very slim, and has a hard time putting on weight. he has medium-brown skin and amber eyes. his hair is dark and choppy, clearly cut himself with no regard for aesthetics, and usually hastily tied back with a strip of cord. he wears glasses for reading. prefers simple clothing that is easy to move around in.

✧ personality: curious, passionate, will stop at nothing to uncover the truth or do what's right. ...if it's a subject that interests him. otherwise, he can come across as quite scatterbrained and unmotivated. the same can be said about his approach to human relationships. though, he can become quite attached to a person once that initial bond is formed. has been described kindly as "marching to the beat of his own drum" and perhaps less-kindly as "eccentric and oblivious." chronically sleepy. often neglects basic self-care in favour of his research. tells bad jokes. likes sweet foods. His handwriting could make even a doctor weep in confusion. prefers plants to people as he finds them easier to understand (though that won't stop him from trying to understand people, much to their chagrin)

✧ history: elith grew up in a small village in the mid-south of hyrule. he was a weak and sickly child since birth, and so he grew up quite isolated, often resting indoors instead of roughhousing with the other children outside, etc. his mother cared for him alone, and since she worked long hours to support the two of them, elith turned to his only other source of company: his studies. his coping mechanism for negative emotions (such as loneliness, inadequacy, estrangement) has always been to immerse himself in research -- turning his focus to a subject that makes him feel confident and in control, instead of acknowledging his underlying anxieties. elith was inspired to study astronomy partially for this reason, and also because whenever he was confined to bedrest for days on end, the stars and sky were always visible from the window in his bedroom -- and were something that nobody could ever deny him.

he began practicing his combat skills with a spear at a young age as well, as it was a light and easily maneuverable weapon to use on his healthiest days. this worked to his benefit, as the stronger his fighting ability grew, so did his physical body -- until he had become a person of health like any other (save for an occasional sensitivity to the common cold). with age, he gained confidence and life experience, though he still retains some of his odd 'quirks' and probably always will. around the time he was toeing the line between teenager and young adult, his mother passed away (due to illness, in an unfortunate irony). elith, spurred on by his sudden lonesomeness and now feeling more and more the need to accomplish something worthwhile with his life, made the decision to wander the land and spend his days studying and learning about the world around him. this is how he came to find the rest of the main cast, and upon meeting them, decided that it was his duty as well to protect and preserve all the lives and knowledge in hyrule.

✧ extra details:
- despite not having any particular penchant for combat, elith is more than capable of defending himself, having travelled alone for years.
- the easiest way to get elith to start talking and not stop is to ask him about constellations -- anything at all, he's gotcha covered
- his favourite animal is the jellyfish. his favourite food is ice wine. it is irrelevant that this is a drink.
- if he had never joined the fight to defeat ganon, elith likely would have become a historian, preserving and documenting artifacts from before the calamity
- scared of horses, especialy the big ones. do with this information what you will.

Name : Elora Goldcrest
Age : 20
Race : hylian
Sexuality : Homoromantic Homosexual
Gender : female
Pronouns : She/Her
Personality:
Arrogant and recklessly ambitious, Elora thinks far too highly of her own skill and will steadfastly pursue her goals. She has, since childhood, wanted to storm Hyrule Castle, slay Calamity Ganon and heroically save Princess Zelda. Always confident that she will be the one to do so. Her social skills are lacking, using the formal rules of etiquette as a crutch to hobble by on. She isn't good at teamwork. Trying to do everything and protect everyone by herself. Because Elora is courageous and compassionate. For the longest time she has wanted to help people, even if she is not always the best at showing it. She wants to protect. She doesn't see it as beneath her, for it is her sworn duty as the last Knight of Hyrule.

So like, she tries to be thoughtful and considerate most of the time but is very inexperienced at it. Like she can be condescending and can prickly (particularly when she is feeling insecure). She isn't good at admitting when she's wrong. Oh and she can get very argumentative and animated. In both like a good, she's very interested in the conversation type of way, and a bad she is being a bit of an ass kind of way. Probably could have put this into a extra tab tbh, which I should make... and will!
1640754481354.png

History:
Akkala Citadel had fallen. The last remnants of the Kingdom of Hyrule had been annihilated by the Guardian onslaught. Thousands of the bravest souls the kingdom had never know now lay dead among its smouldering ruins. All hope was lost. Hyrule’s shield had been broken.

The Knight Commander Brunhild led a valiant last stand and now her corpse laid burnt to a crisp. She and her husband were among the countless dead, indistinguishable from the rest. They were survived by their ten-year-old son, he was spirted down south to Neculda by his butler and barely managed to survive the Age of Burning Fields. When flames of calamity had died down and a fragile peace built, he resolved that he would keep his parents’ legacy alive. No matter what.

Elora grew up far away from Akala Citadel and decades after its fall. She was born in a young hamlet in the Salari plains, south-east of Herba. Her mom, aunt and uncle took care of her in her formative years. None of them did much farm work, as they seemed to have a bottomless amount of rupees to pay traders with. Who exactly her father was, Elora didn’t know. Her mom was always very tight lipped about him. Some sort of traveller most likely. Elora’s fantasies depicted him as a heroic adventurer and mighty slayer of monsters, journeying across Hyrule and helping those in need.

It was on her thirteenth birthday that her training to become a Hylian Knight began. The months following where focused mainly on preparing her for the frozen mountains of Herba. First journeying across the treacherous Tabatha Tundra to Rito village. Then tracing the steps of her grandfather, who spent his health searching for the mysterious ‘Peak Ruins’ an ancient and almost forgotten training ground for knights of an age long past. He had miraculously managed to find them with the help of his late wife – a Herba native.

Here Elora learned everything from swordplay to decorum (well what her aunt was unable to impart on her), what kind of arrow to use kill a bokoblin to the proper type of fork to use when hosting a member of the royal family. She was not a natural at any of it, but she was determined and hardworking.

Her most important, and naturally her least favourite, lesson, was her grandfather teaching her how to read Old Hylian (well a couple of the many archaic languages that are grouped together as ‘Old Hylian’). Allowing her to access the wealth of knowledge hidden in the mountain ruin’s extensive libraries. Everything from forgotten magics, the hidden techniques of ancient heroes to stage plays about foreign dynastic intrigues and dissertations on theology. Elora was a better student then everyone, including herself, expected. Consuming the old media as if she’d been starved of it her whole life. Something touched her about being able connect with the voices of past, to hear a poet sing about all that been lost. It was all terribly romantic she reconned.

Her uncle died fighting lizalfos when she was 17. Buried resentment now rising to the surface, her mom got into a massive argument with her grandfather before leaving. Elora insisted on staying, she had so much more to learn and so much more to practice. Her aunt remained as well, clinging to the old mansion and trying her best to take care of her niece and father. Elora finally decided to go and explore Hyrule when her grandfather succumbed to old age. With his dying breaths he said a few final words to Elora. Nothing too special, except that they were also the final words his mother said to him.

“We are Hyrule’s shield and we must fight to protect.”
