Alana Wulfe -040- Human form
location: Excavation Zone
Alana nodded, chuckling lightly "just 'proving myself' and lead the way then." she told him, explaining her challenging. the female lupine was ready to hunt, though not certain how well she would fair considering she was a pure white wolf, and could stick out quite greatly to prey if she made one wrong move. She figured hunting wouldn't be too different to fighting...

“I suggest you keep up. If needed, let the wolf take over. It should have enough primal instinct in it, even if it is unused,” came Grail’s warning as he shifted into his own lupine form and began heading down the mountain. The male wolf made easy work of the descent, as to be expected with living out here, and soon reached the bottom before moving away, not stopping to wait for the females. First lesson...keep up and follow in his paw prints. His brownish-black coat should be way for the females to spot.

James Woods | #48 | Human
Location: Adult male wing

He really fucked up this time. That much was incredibly obvious. James had no idea where he was other than some doctor's office, strapped to a chair for his 'misconduct'. They had run several tests on him and he already vomited once after they shoved a tube down his throat. The lab coat wearing men didn't say much though they did warn him that the entire process would get much worse if he didn't behave. Kind of hard to when you have no clue of what's going on or why your suddenly being given a very thorough medical exam. He didn't have to wait much longer as they finally entered the room again.
This time with several security guards. Whatever was about to happen.... they expected him to fight. That sent a cold chill down his spine. But fight he would.
When the lab coat came at him with a syringe to inject him with God knows what he thrashed and screamed and kicked with everything he had in him, even as he was held down by the security. When he felt the prick of the needle he wailed, knowing that his fate was sealed and there was nothing he could do to change it. He deflated after that, drifting off into the deep recesses of his mind in an attempt to escape whatever was about to become his reality. Even he could not have imagined this though.

He was soon led to a padded cell, security practically dragging him all the way. A final look over by the doctor before he was thrown in. He sluggishly lunged at the door just as it was slammed shut and suddenly he was alone for the first time in what felt like days. He sat huddled in a corner, shivering as the worst fever of his life wracked his body.
For weeks he sat in that cell, escalating in temperature until he was so hot he shed his clothing and thought he was going to burn alive.

It didn't take long for the true horror to begin. His body felt like it was being torn apart. He screamed until his throat went raw and his voice no longer came out. Right before his eyes fur was burning away layers of skin, bones were breaking and reforming in grotesque shapes. He was turning into a monster. James began to wish for death.
The true terror wasn't what he was becoming though. It was what he was losing. As it went on his mind was becoming foggier, rational thought was becoming more and more difficult. The humanity in him was dying.
It seemed like an eternity but it was really only an hour before he became a fully formed wolf.
The first few minutes the man known as James Woods was gone. Nothing there but a wild animal scratching and clawing at the padded walls of his cell. But he soon returned to human consciousness, fully understanding the reality of what he had become. Those who heard the howl he let loose would say they could almost hear the heartbreak of a human in it. He passed out after that, not waking again until much later.

When he did wake up he felt like the living dead. His body was sore and stuff and he could hardly sit up. Again James was in an unrecognizable place. It looked like a dormitory which meant what happened to him had happened to others. He should get up and explore a bit, try to learn about his surroundings but all James wanted to do at that moment was curl up into a ball and disappear.

Carmine Melbourne-066-Human Form

"Thanks, you're pretty fast yourself," he responded to Yong before the guard walked back towards them, a second one in tow. Ruvick now, how he disliked this one. Carmine's charm and charisma fell on deaf ears with him. He didn't bother trying to sweet talk his way through this interaction. He cast a side glance at Yong before simply nodding to the guard and heading back for his room. Carmine's hands clenched and unclenched in fists, trying to divert his energy somehow. The quick sprint had set up his body in anticipation for a longer run, but sadly he would disappoint it by leading them back to his small room.

Once back to his room, his 'cell' as he called it himself, the door closed with a resounding thud. Now alone Carmine walked over to his bed, picked up a pillow, and screamed into it with ferocity better reserved for a fight, but now being drained into his pillow. It was whipped back into place on the bed, landing with an off hand precision, and Carmine immediately delved into his fighting stance. Not as a wolf, but as himself. When Carmine was restricted from his time outside, even just didn't feel like the activity had done him justice, he would resort to these shadow boxing episodes in his room. Imagine a different number of people, imagine a different scenario, what are you gonna do Caramel? He had to chuckle, his old boss's voice echoing in his head. Though thoughts of the cruel man made him shudder, he had taken every single teaching moment to heart.

"You gotta get outta here Caramel, you're going crazy if that guy's voice is making you home sick." Carmine's low voice spun throughout his empty room, once again opening up his ears to the sounds in the hallway. A wicked smile broke out against his face, "So you're up against ol' Ruvick and Callaghan, whatcha gonna do?" He set up the imaginary encounter in his mind and began striking out, never letting his attention waver from constant auditory lookout for the hallway to clear out.

With adult combat canceled and all adults forced into their rooms, the Adolescents had kept with their training and children their lessons. Time slipped by with little interruption until the bodies of three guards were found outside the facility. The bodies were brought inside and carried to the testing room for inspection. The training and lessons of the adolescents would be stopped while they were counted. When the inspection of the youth was done, the adults were gone through in their rooms until it was determined two females had escaped. Zero forty and zero thirty-seven were found to be the ones who had escaped but none could figure out who had killed the guards.

“Cancel dinner, recovery and free time,” spoke the head scientist.

“Sir...a new experiment has survived. Zero forty-eight.”

“Zero forty-eight. And what did...”

“He sir.”

“What did he do before being picked up?”

“Fighting in underground rings.”

The head scientist turned to look at the others in the staff lounge before speaking. “Schedule a fight in the arena. Everyone required to attend. Blind zero forty-eight and bring him out.” The guards nodded and one went to fetch zero forty-eight from the adult male wing, two guards entering zero forty-eight’s room.

“You’re coming with us zero forty-eight. Time to test your skills,” said a guard.

“Attention all patients and faculty. Proceed to the arena,” came a voice over the message system.

Yong Li-Jong ~043~ Human form
Location: Adult male wing to Arena

Yong met Carmine's gaze with one of his own, and wordlessly he headed to his room. One inside, he plopped into his bed with a frustrated puff of air escaping him.

He wanted to deck both of those guards in their jaws, but it would only cause more trouble for all of them. Bringing a hand to his face he tiredly rubbed his eyes, most of the adrenaline and pent up energy leaving him, making him tired.

He wouldn't have too long to rest however, as an announcement was made to head to the arena, which made him sit up. Wow, this day really got shittier and shittier didn't it?

Running a hand through his now messy hair he groaned and left his room.

Carmine Melbourne-066-Human Form
Location: Adult Male Wing

Carmine's arms slowed, he stilled himself back to his original stance as the loud speaker announced ANOTHER change in schedule. He ran through all the corridors, hallways, guards, and time tables in his head. F**k, he thought with astonishment, This... this is actually your best chance. Carmine knew when there was a change in schedule like this, there were two places along the hallways that had a momentary lapse in security. And both of those hallways branched off into areas of the arena that were perfect for him to hide and escape during the change of shift.

His body tensed with excitement, and anxiety. He'd run the plan over and over again in his head. He'd never been in the perfect place to execute it, he'd needed to be in the room at that time for his walking pattern to allow him to slip away. The right guards needed to be on those rounds. The whole floor needed to be called to the arena.

This was definitely his moment. And with all his pent up energy, he knew he'd easily outpace even the quickest guard. Carmine took a deep breath and wasted no time. He felt like the internal clock in his head was ticking loud enough for everyone to hear, and as he exited his room and slipped his face into the same expression he wore everyday, he almost feared it could be heard. It had to all go correctly, he had to choose the right moment. His leg still tingled from where it was struck only some time ago, but he ignored it as the guards on the floor walked close by to escort the experiments to the arena. Up ahead he saw the other males from the adult wing, watched the back of their heads with cool distance and took another deep breath. Because he was the male with the highest number, he had a good amount of space towards the back of the group.

The arena came into view after some walking, and Carmine stilled his heart. Focus, concentration, dedication, all instilled in Carmine like an etching on a bullet. The point he could break away was coming up soon, a bend in a hallway with a blind spot on the monitor and just enough of a turn where he could fall into shadows. Three... two... one... and without a noise more than the rustle of clothing Carmine rolled himself along the back wall of a branched hallway, kept himself low, and began to sprint. One turn this way, two turns this way, keep out of sight and watch your footing and keep your ears open. He wasn't even getting winded yet, he could see light picking up on the other side of where he had broken off. The internal clock chimed in his head and he silently screamed in elation. 21seconds until someone notices you're not at the back of the line Caramel, he reminded himself.

Six more seconds and he was hitting dirt, fourteen more seconds and he had shifted and begun beating the earth underneath his paws into submission and gaining ground, twenty-one seconds and he heard a far away shout of anger. He hoped it was Callaghan, but even his hearing wasn't good enough to pick up that. The ground began exploding behind him and off to the side, firing into the earth around him and trying to strike him but Carmine couldn't be bothered. His very peppered and mottled coat color blended well with the sediment of rocks on this side of the arena, they would need a sharp shooter who the best of them was currently on patrol someone else in the building.

Once out of sight of the facility Carmine slowed to a lesser pace but kept going, still not out of breath and let the most glorious smile crack across his fangs.

Lucifer Draconis -042- Human form

Lucifer heard the announcement, the male changing shirts to a black tank top before he knocked loudly on the door, the guard that was in charge of him opening it before taking him roughly by the upper arm and leading him to where he was needed, at the entrance to one of the fight rooms. The Lupine was given about two minutes before he was pushed into the arena, Lucifer spotting another male across from him sh-t....

No sooner than he had drifted back into a tortured sleep was his door kicked open, two guards coming into the room and grabbing him off of the bed. He struggled and received a quick nasty twist of his arm that had him barking in pain.
"You're coming with us zero forty-eight. Time to test your skills."
What the fuck did that mean? He knew better than to bother asking them, they would just ignore him. Maybe even hurt him more for asking. He was blindfolded and shoved from the room, walking blindly as they directed him to wherever it was he was going. There was a shrill shriek of machinery as the PA system sounded, announcing that everyone was to go to the arena.
Ah. So they would have him fight. He was smart enough to figure that much out. But so soon after they turned him into a monster? Maybe they wanted to see if he would turn while in combat... Was this some sort of super soldier testing facility? He'd heard rumors of places like this when he was on the streets. Kids disappearing off to medical labs and facilities to be turned into fighting machines for what was left of the military. Perhaps that was what he had become.

He was pushed into an area and instructed to take his blindfold off which he did. Across from him was another male who was probably around the same age as him. James took one look at his face before deciding to forget it. it was easier to win fights when you didn't look your opponent in the eye. Easier to hurt them if you couldn't see their fear.
If they wanted him to fight he would. Without waiting for instruction James charged at the other male, fist raised for a punch. He would assess his opponents reaction time and adjust his own fighting style from there.

There was nothing that could be done. With a threat such as Ruvick’s attempting to assist the two female would be a nearly fatal decision. Despite that fact Poppy wished that they would—or could—fight back; she wished with every fiber of her being that they could launch at the stocky guard and tear him apart piece by peice until she felt something. Anything. As mush as the girl wished for it, it was not to be. Both males retreated into their rooms and that left the four in the hallway.

“Now that that is taken care of you both come with us.” Ruvick demanded, jerking Poppy around once more until they were out in the courtyard once again. Behind them Callaghan had the other girl. As the drew closer to the middle of the yard Poppy knew that the pain she had been trying to avoid was coming her way. The dark skinned girl did not regret her decision to try and keep the other girl from being found out though. They had to stick together.

Suddenly, she found herself pitched forward onto the grassy plain.

“I’ve made my decision, “ Ruvick grinned, narrow orbs glowing with excitement, “For the action of disobeying a guard your punishment will be five lashes. Open back.” Like a newly made statue Poppy froze. This was her first offense, but she had seen what became of the male earlier and fear gripped her like a shadow emerging out of the ground. Her wolf urged her to do something, anything, but the human part of Poppy was frozen. She could feel herself sinking. Suddenly, it was like she was a watching a movie. Ruvick forced her to turn around as she tore open the back of her dress. Then came the whip. It left hot, angry gaps in her once unmarked skin. Tears rolled down the young women’s cheeks, but not a sound was made. Finally, right as the last one was complete, and announcement called over the intercom. Everyone was to report to the arena. Ruvick ordered her to go. Broken and bleeding, but seemingly present again Poppy stumbled way to the arena to expirence the next horror on the list.

If it was the last thing she ever did Poppy was going to get out of here and provide Ruvick a slow, painful death. Her wolf seemed satisfied with the idea as it started to hunger for the man’s very flesh. One day...

Next thing Dani knew she was at the infirmary. Laying on a even more uncomfortable mattress the lilac orbed kid took everything in. As far as she could see everything was stark white; the curtains, the sheets, and even the gown she was made to wear. The doctor, if she was even a doctor, had gone through all the normal procedures to ensure that Dani was healthy, and surprise surprise everything came back normal. Curious and concerned the doc Pulled blood to ensure that everything was 100% on track. As the doc said, “you could never be too careful.” Once the doc walked away with the blood draw the blonde girl knew it was time.

Getting comfortable she laid down and proceeded to pull the covers over her head. Without any hesitation she let the wolf take over. Bones broke and reformed while skin started to rapidly grow hair. It took about five minutes, but a small wolf pup was now where the girl had once been. This had not been part of the initial plan, but The plan flexable. Poking her enlongated snout out first Dani scented everything. It was clear. Rolling, and not so gracefully landing, she started to sneak off. Without notice the intercom when off and announced that everyone report to the arena.

Yeah right. I’m out.

It turned out to the perfect time. The was a distinct lack of guards and they thought she was sick. Sticking her nose to the ground she picked up a strange scent. Citus. Instinct demanded that it be followed, so she did. Next thing the girl knew she padded feet hit dirt. There, out in front of her, was an expansive dessert. Inwardly she could not help but laugh at the irony. She was free. Everything smelled so different, but the citrus scent smelled the same. Since it had led her to safety she figured the next best step would be to follow it, so that is exactly what she did.

Grail S. Harrison-011-Alpha Male-Wolf Form
Location: Expanse
Both females soon shifted as he left and followed him down, Grail heading away from the cave and into the expansive desert of red colored sands. He was not expecting what came next as he moved across the semi rocky and arid terrain, something nipping at his ankles before the creature had spun back but it was enough for Grail to turn his body to look for the culprit, only to see Mazikeen do the same to Alana. The girl was behaving like an omega or pup. Golden eyes surveyed both females, debating whether to punish the female in question before huffing to himself and allowing this action to pass. Turning back around, he continued striding across the barren earth until he brought them to the tall rocks and headed away from them until they got to water. Motioning with his head that they should drink, Grail headed back to the tall rocks and climbed it Where upon reaching the flat surface he stood guard. Once they had their fill of water, he would begin leading them on a hunt. Little did Grail know there would be another lupine having escaped today and seeking refuge. If any wolves escaped, they would look for water. At least that was what he had done when he’d gotten out.

Mouse shook her head at his claiming he would be alright, not sure how deep his wound was. As he thought aloud to himself, the girl shook her head before pointing at her shirt before grasping the hem in her hands at a frayed piece and beginning to tear the fabric off, handing the patch of cloth to Silo when she had torn off enough to dab at her wounds. Though she still could not figure the male out. Unexpectedly an announcement came over the loudspeaker, informing everyone to head to the arena. The announcement caused Mouse to drop the torn piece of cloth on the floor as her eyes went past Silo to the doors as of expecting the guards to come inside. Yet the doors did not unlock at the moment, the guards instead were escorting the four wolves meant to fight the girl at the same time to the arena, leaving only one guard there.

"Are you f**king with me?!" the guard screeched, lowering his gun to stop firing off into the desert. Truth be told, the coloring of 066 was difficult to keep track of against the rocky backdrop and he swore and kicked a nearby wall in frustration. The guard swung his gun around his back and ran full speed to his head post, running into experiments on the way with heated words and fury. All guards he passed he notified to cover his area and keep on higher alert. "Sir!" he shouted, finding the head guard a few moments later and earning an unpleasant gaze in response.

"The f**k are you bothering me with now?" the head guard sneered and looked him over. He was supposed to be running interference on the arena walls so as to keep a constant perimeter, not here bothering him before a fight.

"Sixty-six just got out into the expanse. I couldn't take him out," the guard's honesty earned an immediate broken nose, courtesy of the back of the head guard's gun. The scream turned the blood of the nearby guards cold, and the look the head guard gave them re-ignited their dedication all at once.

"Double security during the fight, personal escorts on each experiment until we're done in the arena." The guard, now holding his bloodied face, nodded and straightened up to go enforce the new orders.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When he felt there was enough distance between himself and the looming walls of the facility Carmine lent his body back to it's human form, slowing completely to stand tall in the middle of the expanse. He took moments to swivel his head around, searching for noise in all directions and finding the wonderful emptiness echoed back at him. There was such a difference in sound between a walled-in monstrosity and the open. He lifted his head and caught his breath, placing a hand over his mouth and kissing it, sending the peck off into the sky above him.
Carmine began a slow pace continuing in the same direction. He began taking in all the nuances of the expanse from the composition of the terrain, which direction he was walking in, all sounds and smells he could detect, and always looking for tracks. The wolves from earlier had run back this way, but he couldn't be exactly sure as the arena was subjected off-kilter to the earlier escape. Still, Carmine just let himself stroll for the most part and enjoyed the slow unwinding adrenaline that was making him tired and - more importantly - thirsty.
Taking another wide sweeping look of his surroundings, he decided in a direction in which he thought he could hear dirt rustling. Some lizards? The wolves from earlier? He couldn't be sure. Another trick of the ear that wide spaces like this did was dispersing sound in such a way it sometimes lost its original notes. Carmine stayed in his human form for now, though was continually cautious of his footing at all times. He noted nothing to be on his trail right now, he would have outrun any guard by a mile by now.
James stood in awe as the other male easily shifted into a wolf, dashing past him so quickly that it felt like a gust of wind had filtered through the room. Obviously this guy had been here for a while, likely knew everything there was to know about what they had become. James wasn't really sure how to shift. The scientists hadn't given any explanation, just tossed him into a room and shut the door. Without that knowledge he wouldn't be able to fight his opponent on equal footing. Was giving up an option? Probably not, he would at least have to make it look like he was an active participant. They would hopefully break it up before he was killed by the wolf. He stood in a tense fighting stance and waited for the wolf to make it's next move. Whatever it was he would drop to the ground and hopefully end this mess.
Mazikeen made a little yip at Alana's response to her playfulness and kept running with her two new companions. She was cautiously optimistic about the situation. She was ready to finally have a home and a family even if they weren't by blood. As they reached the beautiful shimmering blue water and stared for a moment before drinking. She forgot how beautiful natural water sources were. She had been cooped up so long she had almost forgotten how amazing nature was. When you don't see it for so long, it seems to feel like its fake and a myth.
Mazi lapped up the water eagerly, the run had left her out of breathe and she panted heavily, looking around to observe the other two lupines. She laid down next to the water and rolled onto her back a little. It felt so good to be able to do this, not having to worry about being punished for being you. She decided to stay like that until told they had to leave.
Silo was about to try to stop the girl from ripping up the shirt but she had already handed him a piece. He took it carefully, giving her a little grin of appreciation. "Thanks.." He then thought more, realizing how frayed and destroyed the girls shirt was, but before he could act, an announcement was sent over the loudspeaker and he watched the girl look towards the door. Silo turned his head as well, but when no movement occurred, he turned back.
Silo decided there was no way this girl could walk around with that torn shirt of hers and took off his own. Sure it was a little worn, but it was better than what she had. "Here, it'll be better to wear than that shirt you've got right now." He held out the shirt to her. He just hoped he could make it up to her eventually.
A quick dip of her head was a welcome given as he took the piece of cloth and then fell silent, also turning to the doors and then turning back where silence stretched between them once again. It was probably frustrating to have a one-way conversation but she was unable to respond. The scientists couldn’t figure out why she did not speak but she knew it was frustrating the other patients and guards when she made no screams. "Here, it'll be better to wear than that shirt you've got right now."
Mouse looked at the shirt offered her as Silo removed it from his personal before handing it to her. She then glanced furtively at him before pulling the with shirt on over her own and leaning forward, placed a hand on his shoulder, patting it once in thanks before jumping as the doors opened, Mouse quickly moving away as the guards entered. The girl shook her head as one of the guards noticed that Silo had no shirt on. Mouse jumped as one guard pulled out his baton and trailed it across the wall, causing the girl to flinch and lift her arms up to shield herself from the blows. Said blows never came as guards went for Silo and for the cowering girl who was hauled roughly to her feet, making her stumble and nearly fall as she stood on shaking legs.
“Everyone reports to the arena. Recovery, dinner and free time are being stripped from everyone tonight and there’s word of escapes...from three experiments. Neither of you would know anything about that would you?” Mouse violently shook her head as she was roughly taken out of the room. She had been fighting since after breakfast and was too afraid of the others to make friends or conversation.
The guard leaned in closer, pushing her into a wall as soon as they got outside the fight room. “Or would you be trying to form a relationship with zero fifty-one?” All he got was another frantic shaking of the head from the girl.
“Enough Ash. We need to get them to the arena. You can have your fun later,” spoke a guard who was escorting Silo. She was then yanked away and pulled along, stumbling over her feet at the quick pace of the guard who held her until they got to the arena after leaving the facility and striding across the grounds for two and a half miles. Pushed into an aclove, she obediently began climbing the steps and sat where she was directed, the guard sitting by her. Forced to watch the fight with the others, she shook despite the rising heat of the day, watching as both combatants were in human form.
Grail S. Harrison-011-Alpha Male-Wolf Form
From up here he could see everything for s good distance. His fur blew in the slight breeze which did nothing to stave the heat and looked around, taking in all directions, occasionally dropping his gaze check on the drinking females and seeing Mazikeen continuing to behave like a pup. Shaking his head, he turned his gaze once more upon the earth in the southern direction, body taut as if to spring at a moment’s notice. Alana’s sudden growling echoed through the air and turned his head side to side to see what had her riled up. Sniffing the air he couldn’t detect nothing unusual and a scan of the wilderness revealed no humans until he spied something on the horizon.
A rumbling growl echoed in his chest as he spied the form though he couldn’t make its fur out due to it blending with the rock and desert. Padding towards the edge of the ledge, he looked down at Alana, catching the glance she gazed up at him with. Perhaps she will make a good mate after all if she is that observant. Huffing our a wordless response, the seven-foot tall beast gathered his legs under him as he ran towards the ledge and leaped into open air, angling his body downward. For a few moments he hung there in space, for a few moments feeling free before falling, air rushing past him as he shifted upon falling, tucking his head into his chest and rolling upon hitting the ground. Coughing, Grail stood and dusted himself off, winching slightly at some bruises he would undoubtedly develop from such a stunt but otherwise fine.
Until he began walking and realized he had sprained an ankle. No matter, healing would kick in come the full moon tonight and he could just soak up in that. For now he limped a bit as he headed towards the pair of females, glad nothing was broken this time. “What’s the problem?”
Picture his wolf? He hardly remembered what he looked like when he first shifted. James tried to get the picture of it in his mind, images of wolves flashed by. Wolves running, tumbling with each other playing, gnashing and growling. And yet it didn't seem to work. He looked at the other in frustration and shook his head.
If he wanted to fight it'd have to be in human form. Whatever the key to shifting was he would have to figure that shit out later.
"Shift back."
The could handle this the good ole fashioned way.
The female Lupine looked at Grail, then back out towards where she heard the approaching noise, before deciding to return to her human form "I'm not certain, but there's someone on the approach... I don't think it's one of the guards, but I think it might be one of the other Experiments... As for whether they've been sent to find us, I have no clue." She told the male, looking up at him
The now human Lupine chuckled "Alright then. come on, newbie." he called out, lowering slightly and angling his body into a fight stance
Grail was silent, listening to their environment. “Hmm. I saw something coming this way but couldn’t make out it’s coloration from the rocks and dirt. Whatever it is blends in well.” Alana voiced her opinion on who it might be and he grit his teeth together in annoyance. “Be prepared to kill if it is hostile or tries to summon others. Show no mercy,” Grail ordered both females as he surveyed them.
Newbie huh? James wasn't one to be baited in a fight but he would show this guy he could hold his own at least. With that thought he went full aggression, throwing a series of punches he knew wouldn't land just to keep his opponent on his toes. He was trying to back him up against one of the arena walls, take away the other males options for movement then he could finish the fight with a disabling blow.
the male let off a low growl, ducking and weaving around the other male's punches but refusing to back up as he inevitably went to grab James' arm, intending on twisting around and throwing the other lupine over his shoulder and into either the ground or a wall, that is, if he managed to get ahold of him
Mazikeen Cloud ~037~ Wolf Form
The Expanse
Mazi perked up at the sound of Alana's growling and rolled onto her side, head in the air, back covered in sand and ears fully forwards. She licked her lips before standing up and shaking out her white pelt. Some sand remained, but she wasn't too worried about that at the moment.
She looked over to Grail was, and did a wolfish version of a smirk as he did his stunt Showing off for us, eh? She thought to herself. As he walked over she watched him carefully, noticing that he now had a bit of a limp. That backfired... Mazi thought again, keeping a huff of amusement in. She watched as Alana switched to human, and told Grail what she heard.
Mazi, still in her wolf form, turned to the direction Alana heard the noise and licked her lips, listening carefully. She could make it out, quite faintly but it was still there. And by the pattern of the steps, it was definitely human. That could mean anything at this point but she didn't like the idea of a guard coming to take them back.
However, if it was a guard, they were alone, which was extremely unlikely...
She heard the response from Grail but made no signs she actually heard it. Instead, she concentrated even harder on the footsteps and her body got more rigid, already preparing for a fight. Body stiff, senses alert, tail out and twitching back and forth nervously.
She decided to stay as a wolf for now, just in case. It'd be good to have those heightened senses.
Silo Gray ~051~ Human Form
Fight Room 1/Arena
Silo smiled as she took the shirt and put it on and put a hand on his shoulder. He also jumped as the doors opened and stood up extremely quick, standing in front of the girl protectively. When the guard started intimidating her, he growled a warning. Before denying the first claim. When the guard pushed the girl up against the wall, Silo lunged forwards, but was caught by the hand of the other guard on his bicep and she pulled him back reluctantly. "Motherf**ker!" He growled. When they were pushed out of the room, Silo watched as the girl stumbled and he wished he could do more, but infuriating the guards more today wouldn't end well for anyone and he knew that.
As they walked, Silo kept a close eye on her and thought carefully about what had transpired today. This one girl had made him act the complete opposite of how he usually behaves and he didn't understand. Around her, he reacted first and thought later. That had never happened to him before. He usually observed his surroundings, looked for possible routes to take in decision making and action, and then chose the path that would best assist him in his efforts. What would be the most morally correct. Instead, e wanted to protect, and he would do anything he could to make sure that that happened. Why was she different?
He followed his guards orders, sitting where he was told, the guard sitting next to him. Silo looked around, and noticed that every lupine seemed to have a guard at their side. They must really not want any more incidents. If anything was tried, he knew they would have no mercy and wouldn't hesitate to inflict the most intense punishments any of them have ever experienced. What silo was most worried about, was if they would go so far as to punish the entire group if one person did something wrong. It'd be a fear inducing exercise, and it would most certainly make it so every wolf was afraid of being the one responsible for the mass punishments. That, and the girl. He didn't want harm to come to her, but was terrified that it would.
And from what he remembered that the scientist said to them earlier, it seemed like if they were still punished after this, she would get a more intense punishment, even though he committed a worse deed. She only bit a guard. Silo killed him. If she was punished worse than him for that, he wouldn't ever forgive himself.
But for now, the fight. Let the games begin.
