Perhaps this is a bit ridiculous, but I love to organize my characters so here's a whole list of the ones, organized for my own use.

It's easier to have everything all in one place : )))

Full Name: Cash Keating MacAmbrais
Nickname: Mac
Age: Twenty-One
Birthday: December 21st
Zodiac: Saggitarius
Birthplace: Columbus, Ohio
Occupation: Carpenter and contractor
Sexuality: Demisexual

Faceclaim: Timothée Chalamet
Height: 6'0''
Hair: Cash's hair is floppy and curly. Dark brown to the point of being black, he normally leaves it to poof naturally. It often hangs in his face, though if he's trying to focus, he slips his Carhart beanie on. It helps keep his hair out of his face. In the sun, it's common to see a hint of blonde in his hair
Eyes: Normally, Mac's eyes appear dark molasses brown. However, stepping into the sun reveals his eyes are lighter with dots of green and golden yellow in them. Only people looking closely would see this, though, but it is certainly one of the prettier features to an already pretty boy.
Skin: Covered in freckles all over, Cash has tanned skin with strong warm undertones that make him look kissed by the sun.
Body Mods: tattoo 1 {on forearm} | tattoo 2 {on lower back, right} | tattoo 3 & 4 {on back, stacked vertically} |tattoo 5 {inner right arm}
Distinguishing Features: His freckles. They dot his face like a tiger lily's, especially across his nose. When people talk to him, they notice his smattering of brown dots that make him look precious when he smiles. Many lovers marvel at the fact that they dot his body all over

Vices: particular ❂ bossy ❂ verbal maniac ❂ sticky-fingered ❂ sarcastically cruel ❂ easily jealous ❂ cagey ❂ unreliable
Virtues: daredevil ❂ a fixer ❂ sincere ❂ ultra-positive ❂ a ray of sunshine ❂ confident ❂ witty ❂ generous ❂ affectionate ❂ funny
Likes: sunshine ❂ sour patch kids ❂ cigarettes ❂ aliens ❂ succulents ❂ classic feminist literature ❂ poetry ❂ holding hands ❂ driving around in silence ❂ dancing ❂ jamming with friends ❂ a good joke ❂ gore ❂ horror movies
Dislikes: feeling out of place ❂ disrespect ❂ inequality ❂ snarky remarks ❂ boba tea ❂ judgment ❂ people who are weird about morbid things
Hobbies: writing poetry ❂ loitering in unwanted areas ❂ cooking pastries and other sweets ❂ jewelry making ❂ stained-glass construction
Skills: playing bass ❂ womanizing ❂ crafting complex stained-glass & precious metals pieces ❂ sweet-talking out of trouble ❂ chopping wood ❂ woodworking + carpentry
Fears: becoming his mother ❂ being consumed by his mental health ❂ being abandoned ❂ being disrespected ❂ weakness
Quirks: rocking back and forth when upset ❂ not eating for days on end (not on purpose) ❂ disappearing for a week only to show up again randomly ❂ surprising people ❂ turning pale when someone does something unexpected
Personality Overall:
Cash’s parents weren’t a part of the alternative scene, which is surprising giving Cash's penchant for attending punk shows. In fact, they were straight-laced people who just got caught up with a little white powder when he and his little brother and sister were just kids. Or, to be more exact, he was 10 and they were 8. Still, they left plenty of money and an odd legacy for them to keep. Despite his positive attitude, it’s hard to say that Cash was a good parent alongside his aunt. She outshined everyone. Think Ms. Honey from Matilda, except so much sweeter. She was a big hugger, too, and it made everything ten times better. She didn’t get Cash’s discontent with his namesake nor his strange interest in becoming a drummer, but Anabel supported him through-and-through. Her passing last year hit Cash hard, and, given his siblings are well-taken care of by Anabel’s second husband and they’re well onto becoming adults now, he took to the road. Anabel talked constantly of her times with her friends’ rip-off Merry Band of Pranksters, and he wanted to see America for himself (minus the numerous doses of acid she took and the ten thousand cartons of cigarettes smoked which probably led to her lung cancer). What was it about this experience that made Anabel who she was?

Growing up the way he did, it’s easy to see why Cash found himself attached to the “wrong” crowd. Anabel didn’t push him off these interests, but he always heard the disapproving voice of his parents and made up their opinions based on a life they lived without the comprehension of death. It wasn’t until Anabel passed and he went on an impulsive road trip that his brain stopped making up his dead parents' disapproval. His sister called him, screaming her head off about how he can't just leave, but he couldn't help but resent Daisy a little. He'd done his job, taken care of his siblings when he was barely a kid himself. It was time for Cash to take care of him. Daisy would understand eventually.

After almost a year of roaming endlessly, he found himself desiring to settle down. Sleeping in his car and doing odd jobs to survive lost their luster. Of course, Cash still didn't care about making boatloads of money, but he needed to move onto the next chapter of his life. He picked up a job working in carpentry, finishing his apprenticeship in no time. Finally, Cash could afford to rent an apartment and support himself.

𝒯𝒽𝑒 𝒞𝓊𝓇𝓇𝑒𝓃𝓉 𝒱𝒾𝑜𝓁𝑒𝓉

𝐿𝑜𝓎𝒶𝓁 ✰ 𝒥𝑒𝒶𝓁𝑜𝓊𝓈 ✰ 𝐵𝑒𝑔𝓊𝒾𝓁𝒾𝓃𝑔 ✰ 𝒜𝓂𝒷𝒾𝓉𝒾𝑜𝓊𝓈 ✰ 𝐵𝓇𝒶𝓋𝑒 ✰ 𝐸𝓁𝑜𝓆𝓊𝑒𝓃𝓉 ✰ 𝐸𝓃𝑒𝓇𝑔𝑒𝓉𝒾𝒸
⊱ Adults have a tendency to miscount Vi. Her peers, not as much, but they’re inclined to believe she “isn’t as bad as people say she is” given her naturally sweet demeanor. She doesn’t come across as a viper lying in the grass, but rather a kind-hearted rich girl who has more of a passion for fashion than making the Dean's List {which couldn’t be farther from the truth}.

⊱ No one could ever say that Violet isn’t passionate, almost to the point of headstrongness, but it’s to her benefit. She believes in being the mastermind of one's own success, and she won't let anyone "get in [her] fucking way." Despite her seeming conservativeness, Violet is quite the feminist. She’s often quoting Simone de Beauvoir, Anne Brontё, and Audra Lorde. Vi wants the world in the palm of her hand, and she’ll be damned if anyone stands in her way. She used to go to an extreme to achieve her ambitions, but nowadays, she mostly puts her nose to the grindstone and tries to get things done. Some would call this excessive, but she calls it passion. People from high school recall Violet as being cold, even callous, but now she's "reformed," as she likes to say. Still, some people hear of her past and believe that the shiny exterior of bubble-gum smacks and Crest white-strip smiles is just that- an exterior.

⊱ V shows people how she feels through actions. She’s incredibly good at giving a hug when she senses people need it. She’s loyal, but this doesn’t happen easily, which is why she holds grudges so easily. There’s a lot she expects out of those she loves, barring perhaps her father, but she gives back just as much, if not more. However, that isn’t to assume that Violet isn’t fantastic at small talk. She’s quite the conversationalist, and she used to do Debate in middle school. Vi can squeeze in two hundred words a minute and somehow she makes sense.

⊱ Easily jealous, V doesn't get attached easily. She chooses the people she loves meticulously. This can be a good thing since it shows her undying loyalty to those she loves, but her jealousy tends to get her in trouble more than anything. With her inability to move on from something peacefully, her many flirtationships often end in boys running in the opposite direction (or disappearing, if they've kissed her...). Her friendships also have the capacity to suffer too.

⊱ That whole ambition V has? Yeah, she tends to get a little carried away, especially when it comes to human interaction. Half of the conversations people have with the social butterfly usually are only happening because she’s working an angle. Whether it’s for gossip, a hookup, notes, etc., Violet has certain magic around her that allows her to get away with it- for the most part. She just wants to be in control. All. The. Time. This doesn't mean she doesn't have friends- she has plenty, in fact. However, she struggles to let loose and has more to live for than her academic and professional goals.

⊱ As a massive flirt, she’s always got some guy on the tip of her finger. She didn’t use to be this way, but something about the way boys drooled after her made her bold. It was as though the glowing-effect she has amped up a notch, and she knew how to use it for once. Instead of repelling people, it attracted them. Made her desirable. Or something like that. It isn’t as though she tries, though. She just ends up making out with one dude after talking to him for a total of ten minutes. Without. Even. Trying. Hell, half the time she can’t even recall the conversation they had. She just knows it wasn’t memorable enough to stick with him for the long haul. O̶r̶ ̶m̶a̶y̶b̶e̶ ̶i̶t̶'s̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶n̶o̶t̶-s̶o̶-s̶u̶b̶t̶l̶e̶ ̶c̶o̶m̶m̶i̶t̶m̶e̶n̶t̶ ̶i̶s̶s̶u̶e̶s̶. Or the fear of rejection. Maybe add a dash of fear for how getting attached so someone might turn out. Who knows!

⊱ Managing a full schedule, starring in play after play, practicing daily in order to do collegiate cheer, and m̶a̶k̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶h̶e̶r̶s̶e̶l̶f̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶l̶e̶a̶d̶e̶r̶ ̶o̶f̶ ̶e̶v̶e̶r̶y̶t̶h̶i̶n̶g̶ has its tolls, but Violet is always full of energy. She’s actually an insomniac, unable to sleep lest she wants her bizarre dreams to pester her. This is also the source of the numerous blonde moments she has, which is a large reason why people often don't see her as much of a tour-de-force as she is.

⊱ Violet has an insatiable lust for power and the ability to lead. She believes she could be the difference between a mediocre show/routine and a memorable one. In Georgia, she was often overlooked in this department, despite her abilities. Everyone underestimates her back home, including and especially her father.

⊱ With her insomnia comes impulsive bravery! Vi is unafraid of the dark, spiders, knives, murders, the Boogey-man, you name it. She’s pretty immune to it all! She believes in them all (including the Boogey-man. Don’t laugh!), but she’s confident in her ability to fight them off, especially if she has a team behind her (particularly one that she’s the front runner of).

𝒯𝒽𝑒 𝒪𝓇𝒾𝑔𝒾𝓃𝒶𝓁 𝒱𝒾𝑜𝓁𝑒𝓉

𝐵𝑒𝑔𝓊𝒾𝓁𝒾𝓃𝑔 ✰ 𝒜𝓂𝒷𝒾𝓉𝒾𝑜𝓊𝓈 ✰ 𝐸𝓁𝑜𝓆𝓊𝑒𝓃𝓉 ✰ 𝒟𝑒𝓂𝓊𝓇𝑒 ✰ 𝒞𝑜𝓃𝓉𝑒𝓃𝓉 ✰ ℐ𝓃𝓉𝑒𝓁𝓁𝒾𝑔𝑒𝓃𝓉
⊱ Violet, in her original incarnation, was much less ambitious. The little semblance of the old Violet, or at least the one that recalls the centuries of repeated affairs, has only grown more wild and uninhibited. Whether she knows it or not, she's spent too long as simply a table piece for her family, a talking point at church. The times of being married off so young, only to find the person she truly loves, emboldened her. She doesn't remember anything from her past, except maybe in brief bits and pieces, but subconsciously it appears that things have stuck with her over the years. It's like her body knows that she's fighting against a ticking time bomb and she has to get in as much as possible before it runs out.

⊱ When she lived her first life, she was far more content with her place in the world. She got her kicks out of flirting with aimless men, but nothing more. She was an avid reader, consuming as much literature as possible. Still, even then, she was often discounted. The blonde hair and feminine wiles made her the subject of much discrimination on the basis of sex. All her lives have led her to her current personality.

Background:
𝒯𝒽𝑒 𝒞𝓊𝓇𝓇𝑒𝓃𝓉 𝒱𝒾𝑜𝓁𝑒𝓉'𝓈 ℬ𝒶𝒸𝓀𝑔𝓇𝑜𝓊𝓃𝒹
{TW: mentions of blood, verbal and physical abuse}

⊱ Violet Abigail Williams had a normal life, living in rural Georgia with her stereotypical preacher father and soft-spoken mom. She was a darling baby with adorable chubby legs. Growing up, she remained a honey-sweet toddler, then kid. Her father grew bitter with the years, and her mother lost a little bit of the luster in her eyes. They’d married young, and the shine on their love divided by half with each year that passed. Her mom waited until she was in fourth grade before she escaped her father, leaving his wrath for her, though that wasn’t the intention.

⊱ Violet spent the next few years growing up far before her time. Her father, instead of using his wife as a punch bag, turned to his daughter. He saw her mother in Vi, but she never understood this. She just knew there was something unholy about her, at least that’s what her father made her believe. It didn’t help that her friends seemed to drop like flies, leaving her once they overheard their parents discuss the truer nature of her mother’s abandonment. Violet was the wrong thing in the equation. The aberration. The stranger.

⊱ However, that didn’t stop people from being 𝒶𝓉𝓉𝓇𝒶𝒸𝓉𝑒𝒹 to Violet. There was always something irresistible about her. They just didn’t want to know Vi beyond a conversation or two that satisfied their curiosity. This just worsened in the coming years.

⊱ For an unknown reason, Vi’s one ex (whom she dated in secret for a week in 7th grade) woke up the morning after he kissed her. Everyone else assumes Jason ran away or was kidnapped, but Violet has always suspected that something else happened. She's never been able to put her finger on it, but she got a strange sense of deja vu. However, later on in life, she simply decided that most people who kiss her find her abysmal, ghosting her the first second they get.

⊱ Oh. And let’s not talk about the girl on the swimming team who disappeared too, but not before telling half the town about Violet and her sexuality.

⊱ Though she isn’t exactly aware of the curse, she knows there’s something off about her. I̶t̶ ̶d̶o̶e̶s̶n̶’t̶ ̶h̶e̶l̶p̶ ̶t̶h̶a̶t̶ ̶s̶h̶e̶ ̶h̶a̶s̶n̶’t̶ ̶s̶l̶e̶p̶t̶ ̶f̶o̶r̶ ̶m̶o̶r̶e̶ ̶t̶h̶a̶n̶ ̶t̶h̶r̶e̶e̶ ̶h̶o̶u̶r̶s̶ ̶a̶ ̶n̶i̶g̶h̶t̶ ̶i̶n̶ ̶s̶i̶x̶ ̶y̶e̶a̶r̶s̶. Something keeps her awake at night, afraid of what she'll see in her dreams only to not remember it in the morning. The only time she remembers much of anything, it's a face or her dying.

⊱ However, despite Violet’s insistence that she’s a normal, Christian girl with a little bit of the Devil’s spirit hanging around, she can’t lie to herself about the events that led her to the scholarship to University.

⊱ On a steamy, July night, her father was at it again. Fulfilling every cliché concerning preachers, he took his alcoholism and abuse to new heights. Coming home from a friend’s sleepover (given she'd started to come out of her shell around Senior year and actually made real friends), Violet found her father seemingly stone-cold sober. He was set before the hot plate, grilling up some steaks, with his mouth set in line so thin Vi couldn’t make it out. They passed some pleasantries before she asked what was for dinner. This set him off. He wouldn’t stop talking about how much of a quote-on-quote “lying whore” she was. Oh, and a plethora of other slurs (some slut-shaming, some homophobic). In the midst of his anger, he brought up her kiss with the swim team girl (who outed her years ago, back when Vi was in middle school), calling her every name under the sun. Tears streamed down her face as he grappled her shirt, pulling her towards him, and reaching for the bottle of Jack Daniels that had a permanent resting place on the kitchen counter. In an instant, it crashed into the side of her head, but it didn’t have the satisfaction of splintering into a million shards. Revealing his drunken state, her father stumbled backwards, letting her and the bottle go. Then the bottle crashed to the floor, and a shocked Violet felt her eyes flood to it.

⊱ The bottle should've made a dent, at least knocked her out. Yet, it didn't. Vi wasn't meant to die yet.

⊱ And all Violet could feel was the bow breaking on the years of abuse she’d suffered since her mother left. Her tears dried up, the blood began to flow back into her head, and the goose egg that was forming already began to fade.

⊱ Harrold, her father, sat in fear on the floor, quivering. Tears streamed down his face, and he scrambled to get up from the floor. His hand was bleeding, trickling all over the floor.

⊱ Realizing what had happened, thinking she had been at fault, Violet ran over to her father, the betrayal giving way to the sick sense of loyalty and love she still felt for him. He gripped her wrist, bruising her. He told her to get out.

⊱ The next day, as her father laid sleeping, though he didn't discuss kicking Violet out again. Instead, after the fateful July day, Harold left his daughter alone, nursing his wounded pride in his room or at the church. There were quite a few sermons about shedding the Devil’s control in the coming weeks, but Violet didn’t attend them. She decided religion wasn’t for her. On the Sunday after the 𝐸𝓋𝑒𝓃𝓉, where her father spoke on the religious themes in The Exorcist (which unsettled multiple attendees, considering his spiderweb of scars that lined hands), Vi was trying to not think about what happened only a few days earlier. She sat, scouring the Internet for anything but possible reasons why the things that happened. Her window was open, letting in the sunlight and fresh breeze that aired out the ever-present smell of whiskey that tainted every room in the small ranch. Ironically, she found the advertisement for the scholarship that allowed her to attend college on that fateful day. From there, she applied quickly, writing an entire essay about her father and her passion for acting and law. Her love for the two opposite subjects made her an interesting candidate, especially coupled with her past. Needless to say, her application was a hit.

⊱ Weeks later, Vi received an email. She felt her heart swell with hope as she read it. 𝒮𝒽𝑒 𝒽𝒶𝒹 𝒶 𝓌𝒶𝓎 𝑜𝓊𝓉. It was only a matter of time before Harold was back as king, and who knows what he would do to her. Luck, as that’s what she hoped the Jack Daniels event was, wasn’t going to save her for long, and she didn’t have her mom to save her. College was a far off dream before, but now it was a reality. It was too late to join first semester, but she managed to move into the dorms and take classes at a local community college.

⊱ With a new-found hope, Vi set to crafting the perfect wardrobe, intent on making a new start at college memorable. She was in for a helluva surprise once she found herself amongst people who actually liked her, instead of just being attracted to her. This was even more so confirmed when she joined the Cheer Squad and started starring in plays. She crafted this false identity as a rich debutant, though she's anything but. There was power in crafting this persona, however, so she stuck with it. People gave her the time of day, and one thing was certain: Violet never wants to be on the bottom again.

Love Language: gift-giving and acts of service
MBTI: ENTJ
Headcanons:
⊱ As a short, seemingly flexible girl who wants to be at the top of everything, many of the Cheer girls were surprised when Violet took her placement as a base with zero protest. She got quite a few shocked faces which is exactly why she did it. Okay, not actually. She genuinely believes in a "team" even if she's not always at the top. However, don't get it twisted. She won't let herself be on the bottom for long.

⊱ Her favorite form of love is hugs and cuddles. It's probably because she hasn't been hugged by her father since she was in third grade.

⊱ After getting accepted into college with a full-ride, Violet proceeded to create her own set of rip-off couture wardrobe.

⊱ Speaking of sewing, Violet won a 4-H contest for "Best Outfit Made of Unconventional Material" when she was in 4th grade. She didn't stop sewing after that.

⊱ One of her other talents include her fantastic baking abilities (for some reason, her cookies, cakes, and everything in between are always addictive. Granted, sometimes things go wrong and people end up with horns, but they usually go away once they have their morning constitution).

⊱ Her preferred area to study in is the garden by her dorm. It's gotten so bad that she even has a hammock set up.

⊱ Tea FIEND. If you want to makeup with Violet, get her a fancy tea. Bonus points if you can guess which type she wants!

⊱ Violet always needs to have something to do with her hands, and she can often be found working on some needlepoint or knitting project in class. Of course, there aren't many close friends for her to give her plethora of scarves or embroidered flowers, so she usually hands them out to people when she sees they're having a bad day.

⊱ Every year, around Easter, Vi uses a payphone in town to call her dad. She hears his voice pick up on the opposite line, but she always hangs up before speaking to him.

⊱ Her favorite color is deep forest green, almost black, but she wears a lot of pastels and pinks because they match her complexion and aspired aesthetic better.

⊱ Absolutely hates it when someone calls her crazy or tells her to calm down. It's rare that Violet loses composure, and anyone who ever tries to tell her to not feel her emotions obviously doesn't understand how rarely she lets herself feel upset. At least not obviously. If you're in a fight with her, she doesn't respond well to yelling either. She just wishes arguments could happen in a way that's a little more civilized.

⊱ One of her little quirks is listening to her music through the YouTube app instead of paying for Spotify Premium/Apple Music like any normal person would.

⊱ Slight to major John Mulaney stan. He's never failed to make her giggle!

⊱ A total dog person. She hasn't met one she doesn't smile at and felt compelled to cuddle.

⊱ Knows how to pick a lock with just a bobby pin due to too many hours spent on YouTube + out of necessity.

⊱ Drinking diet coke like water and hates it when people point it out to her. Especially when they tell her to drink something other than caffeine... like water?

⊱ Has a knock-off hydro flask decorated in calico critter, vine references-related, and just all things pink stickers

⊱ Elle Woods is her inspiration and personal hero. A ditzy girl whose perseverance and determination get her to Harvard, where she reveals herself to be independent and fantastic at anything she puts her mind to- what's there not to love? However, Vi's still just as capable of going full Carrie on these bitches. Except slightly less murder-y.

⊱ Digs the opposites-attract narrative in her favorite rom coms that she just swoons over! I mean Elle ends up with a guy who's a total professional, straight-laced guy... why can't I have that?

⊱ Has a pair of cross earrings her mother gave her after getting her ears pierced the summer she passed. She guards them with her life, even if the gold paint is fading. Don't get it twisted though- she's not religious.

⊱ Updates everyone on her life and thoughts on her private snap story. She never got that phase in middle school where everyone was posting pics like Don't at me with a depressed-looking face or needlessly recording herself talking about her day, so she's making up for lost time.

⊱ Loves being the person's always caring for everyone else. If she can be in charge and the one people come to for help and reassurance, Violet's 100% into it. Something about being needed gives her purpose.

⊱ Despite appealing to the manufactured stereotype of a ditzy, blonde cheerleader, Vi is actually a total feminist, sitting in her room digging the powerful women in her favorite comic books to praising the work of Kathleen Hanna as she blares "Rebel Girl" on repeat. Why should she sacrifice her femininity just to be seen as badass? Or have to be sexy to get the job done either? Everyone should just be who they naturally are as respected all the same. Not that she still doesn't want to be on top and won't do what's necessary to get there, but her gender really shouldn't fucking matter other than she's a pretty girl.

⊱ Obsessed with pretty comic book/graphic novel girls. Granted, she's not proclaiming her love for Poison Ivy or Envy Adams, but she definitely owns a collection that she hides under her bed. She's super particular about who touches them, even though none of the comics are even remotely expensive and her graphic novels are worn, with the pages ripped at the edges. She's just possessive about them.

⊱ Loves to bike everywhere on her yellow mountain bike. Vi usually goes mountain biking during the summer, and she finds it hard not to miss while at school.

⊱ Although story-telling isn't her strong suit, she's famous for her long anecdotes about the fake yacht trips on her dad's boat or even the real ones she has. Like the time her dad lost her in the mall but she didn't respond to the requests for her to return to the front of the store. She was too busy playing in the bouncy ball cage... where she was promptly traped. Or getting her ears pierced with her mom, who took her to a tattoo parlor instead of Claire's. The burly man who did them looked more afraid than she did!

⊱ Hyperboles. Hyperboles. Hyperboles. Exaggeration is definitely Vi's strong suit, so beware! If you can even figure out if she's telling the truth (which, she tries to. It's a bit hard), she might also be playing things up.

There’s the part of Persephone that is rich-bitch, glamor-puss, “I-only-wear-designer,” and then there is the other part that believes in the redistribution of wealth, teamwork, and defending others. Either side is an utter bad bitch. Neither will stand for injustice or disrespect. One just happens to spend thousands on useless goods and the other hates herself for it. She still struggles with compromising between the two identities, and they make a bunch of drama. Unfortunately, Percy thrives off the chaos, attracting those types of people and exhibiting the types of crazy behaviors that make her feel alive. She doesn’t like personal drama, just the superficial, everything-is-happening-all-at-once type. Punching a guy who wolf-whistled at her or some other poor sap? Hell yes! Getting into an argument with a friend over how it “isn’t her place”? Not so much.

”Everyone has their own bullshit to deal with, don’t make it any worse by being f!cking rude!”

Persephone naturally stands up to everyone who threatens the peace of an individual. She’d take a bullet for probably any stranger. This upsets some people, and she’s made some enemies because of it, but it’s her whole-hearted belief that the world is an eye for an eye, and she should protect those the world wants to blind. If you think her loyalty and support for strangers is a bit much, imagine being her friend. Some could call her caring to a fault, almost to the point of overbearing, but it’s simply because she takes her role within people’s lives seriously. She knows it doesn’t mean much, but everything from complimenting a stranger on their outfit to helping a friend through an emotional crisis makes her feel wanted, needed, and deserving of a place on this planet.

That doesn’t mean shes super dependent. In fact, Percy can easily stand on her own in any battle and often does. Being the only goth kid who's also a direct child of Aphrodite certainly makes her stand apart, especially when all her designer clothes are black or deep purple. Thankfully, Percy has always been able to befriend almost anyone with a well-timed compliment or box of chocolates. Gregarious to the end, Persephone knows how to find a friend and hold them close. According to her, once you’re her friend, you’re family.

Curvaceous and plus-size. Broad shoulders, slightly muscular arms and heavily toned legs from years of scrapping with her brother and track team.

hair
Big, bushy, and curly. Akin to that of Hermione's hair in the Harry Potter novels. When straightened, it goes half way down her back, though curly it only reaches her shoulders. It's light brown, and due to years of proper maintenance, it is shiny and as curly as it was when Percy was born.

eyes
Big, doe-like brown eyes. Hooded eyelids that make her look like an old movie star when she's tired.

style
As a self-identified goth, Percy dresses like the modern, high fashion version of a trad goth on the regular. However, there isn't necessarily a specific type of goth that she adheres to. Still, it's rare that she doesn't have at least one piece of black clothing on.

Aphrodite

Location of Vision
The high school bathroom on her 18th birthday during Senior Year. Otherwise known as- the day that she got her heart broken. After being broken up with, Aphrodite blessed her with a vision of the Goddess herself comforting her daughter, speaking in a elegant and soft tones. Percy walked out of the bathroom seemingly glowing, radiating a beauty that she hadn’t experienced before. Everyone, including her ex, stared.
Aphrodite might have cursed her ex-girlfriend with smelling like onions for the next year and a half...

BACKSTORY

The Perez family is a competitive one. Adonis and Persephone haven’t gone a day without attempting to one-up each other in hopes of winning their father’s affections. With their mom (well… Adonis’ mom and technically Percy’s stepmom, but Nicoletta doesn’t exactly need to be reminded of that…) married to a hot young twenty-something by the time the siblings were 8, their only parent’s attention means a lot. This is why Percy becomes Persephone around her father- a normal girl with a penchant for graphic eyeliner who isn’t as outspoken. If he ever heard of her ideas about wealth redistribution, he’d give her a speech about how hard he worked to have the status and financial stability to support her constant shopping sprees, much less her existence. Even if she’s been mostly supporting herself financially for the past three years with money she earns from her small business making custom gowns and gigs with her band. On top of their ideological differences, Adonis is the favorite. The oldest, the most loved, and the one who never hears an ounce of regret when the General speaks to him.

However, the father-daughter duo has their good moments, especially when it comes to business, the arts of war and romancing the ladies. He’s never doubted her and often pushes her farther than Adonis. In fact, it was Jason Perez who encouraged her to try out for the track team, pushed her to open her store with her custom designs (ever wanted a corset? Call Percy), and even the one who made her go to Mythos Academy, even when she found the idea wholly unappealing and scary. He has his humorous moments where one can see where the sarcasm Persephone brandishes boldly peak through. The two may not be especially close in terms of views, interests, or ability to impress each other, but they have incredibly similar personalities. It also means they butt-heads a lot. A give and take, unfortunately.

As for Adonis, they’re a bit of a mixed bag. Before their mother left, they were close. The Perez sibling-branded roughhousing was simply play-fighting. It became more serious once their father began to show his affection through compliments on someone’s form or how many points they could earn. The two of them became highly competitive. Same with the General, Adonis and Persephone have their moments. Now that they’re older, the fights between them have lessened and they avoid each other. Any problems between them are more so related to unresolved issues. That doesn’t mean they really have any conversations that matter though…

Let’s back up, for a minute, to look at the beginnings of the Perez family. A successful, recently retired Marine colonel (let’s not talk about why he’s called the General) and perhaps a touch of stolen diamonds richer (that may or may not have been acquired Oceans 11-style using Jason Perez’s skills as a covert soldier), Jason met his future wife in the middle of nowhere, sitting in a bar in Arizona. Nicoletta and Jason married on the eve of Adonis’ birth, a mere year after their meeting. It wasn’t a conventional way to do things, but they had stars in their eyes and the wind beneath their wings. Their marriage, although discussed anticipated, was sped up due to Adonis-incoming. While the first few years were peaceful, the General hadn’t exactly fully lived out his outlaw life before jumping into a marriage where he had to settle down, give up combat and living life on the edge in favor of becoming a military strategist all before the age of 50. Nicoletta also hadn’t considered the world of opportunities that awaited her. Ultimately, their marriage turned sour and strained, particularly after Jason’s infidelity, ending mutually not long into Persephone’s life. Afterward, the General never considered remarrying despite having several significant others over the years, never quite over the imprint Aphrodite left on his brain. The Perez siblings don’t know any of them, of course, considering the General keeps each one far away from his children. While trying to protect his children and raise them with high ambitions and ability to succeed, he pushed them into a plethora of after school activities, throwing tutors and pounds of money onto his children’s’ problems instead of asking them what they needed. That brings us to modern-day Persephone, who became a goth, DIY queen in search of feeling more like herself and to get her father to notice her. Unfortunately, this didn’t work. At least they can both bond over their mutual frustration with Nicoletta…

.
ABILITIES
Abilities

𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐡- As soon as she turned 18, Persephone began to develop fluency in French. It's a common characteristic for all children of Aphrodite, but she's still surprised by it. Especially because it's wholly impractical, unless she visits France or Haiti.

𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐤- The strongest of Percy's abilities. She does not utilize it often, but charmspeak allows her to convince most anyone to do what she would like. It's what makes her such a good teamplayer.

𝐀𝐦𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐬- Though it is not as powerful as Aphrodite's or even some of her children, Percy is known to stir up feelings of desire and love on accident. It isn't an ability she cultivates on purpose, given her extreme commitment issues and also how uncomfortable it makes her. Why force her feelings onto others?

𝐏𝐲𝐫𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐬- Like her mother, Percy has minimal abilities in regards to explosions. She can only do it minimally, but on occasion she's known to produce a little pink flame out of her finger. She mostly uses it to light up a bowl.

Weapons
Bejeweled Sword | Butterfly Knife | Mini-Katana

{She has yet to receive a form of Aphrodite's Girdle, unlike most of her siblings; she pretends it doesn't hurt her feelings}

Strengths

𝐅𝐢𝐬𝐭-𝐚-𝐜𝐮𝐟𝐟𝐬- Persephone will kick anyone’s ass for free, so long as she has a reason for it. Growing up with Adonis, a god when it comes to all things sports, has bred her for fighting. Not to mention they regularly would play wrestle until the General insisted their playtime could translate into true talent. For several years, the siblings were enrolled in boxing, wrestling, hockey, football {because the General isn’t a sexist; he believes his daughter should be just as equipped as his son}, and fencing classes. He also made the Perez siblings incredibly competitive give his obsession with board games, especially checkers, chess, and crazy eights. Metaphorically and literally, Percy can easily throw a punch or beat your ass in a silly game.

𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐲- The one thing that she has always been good at {that Adonis wasn’t} was strategy. She’s always been interested in the psychology of going about a battle, argument, or simply convincing a person to support the greater good and the team. She knows how to get people to see her side of things or to set things up in a certain way that it goes off without a hitch. If you ever wanted to rob a bank, you’d want to call Persephone. She’d ensure no one would even come close to being arrested. On top of that, she studies history and battle strategy for fun on Saturday evenings when there isn’t a party, game, or practice to go to. When asked to talk about something that interests her for hours, her eyes light up as she describes her favorite general, how she’d go about a certain historic battle, and an antique weapon, and its history. There’s little she doesn’t know about strategy, and given her father, it’s a point of pride and bonding for the seemingly diametrically opposed father and daughter duo. While he doesn’t understand a lot of the things she’s good at, and she can’t meet his impossible demands, there’s one thing they have: Sunday phonecalls about their newest fact of the week.

𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤- Growing up in a highly competitive household and constantly being exposed to team-environments, Percy is definitely an extroverted, natural leader. She always ends up the head of things, especially when there’s conflict amongst her friends or her classmates. The ultimate mediator, Percy rarely gets involved in actual conflicts where she’s at fault. Often, she’s the moderator who gets everyone to see the other’s point of view. Additionally, it’s easy for her to take command of the room. It’s been a natural state of things since she was four. That doesn’t mean people don’t hate her… she’s hip-checked enough people into the wall. However, that only makes her leadership qualities stand out more. Luci believes that everyone is kind and worthy of respect until someone doesn’t give it to others. Then, all bets are off.

𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐞𝐝- Persephone has always been able to move a mile a minute, despite her body type. When people hear about the record-holder for the fastest 200m sprint, they don’t expect to see Persephone, curves and all. However, it’s something she’s naturally endowed with and has worked at for years. In fact, it kind of pisses her off to know that part of it is due to her demigod status.

Weaknesses

𝐑𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐦- To say that Percy is impulsive is an understatement. She's quick to seek revenge, making her an unreliable partner in combat situations on occasion. It is easy to get under her skin, and she often loses her senses when her emotions flood her senses.

𝐋𝐨𝐧𝐠-𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐭- Percy hates using auto-matic weapons in a combat situation. She also has terrible eye-sight that prevents her from shooting with accuracy. It certainly doesn't help that she prefers the thrill and rush of the increased likelihood of dying. There's something terribly boring about it.

appearance

6'3'' ✧ 210 pounds ✧ green eyes ✧ light brown hair

clothing style:
Milo can often be found in thrifted clothes that he worked to upcycle. He's a punk to the core, and his aesthetic matches as such. A lot of his clothes have been drawn on, either from his older cousins or himself. He's a master seamstress, though, due to his years of putting on patches and tailoring his cousins' too-big hand-me-downs.

Milo is certainly the son of two working-class people, and his clothes reflect this. He spends most of his money on the few band-tees he wants, but the rest comes from his cousins and resale shops. He also is known to wear his dad's clothes from the late 70s where his dad was also a punk.

Aesthetic: Pinterest

build:
Milo is strong and muscular. While he's pretty heavy, it's mostly due to the apt amount of muscles on his body. He has a chiseled triangular body with broad shoulders.

quirks:
✧ Bites his nails to the quick
✧ Poking the person next to him out of nervousness
✧ Tapping out old drum beats
✧ Doodling on something, anything, when he's trying to think

History

Birth & Childhood:

Growing up, Milo's parents could barely afford their one-bedroom flat in Brixton. His dad didn't have a job for the majority of Milo's toddler-hood, and his mother could only make so much from tips at the local pub. Of course, things started to look up when his father started to work at the nearby textile factory. His father started to make more money, resulting in their family's ability to afford a better home. His sister and Milo finally had rooms separate to their parents. They actually had a kitchen and a living room, instead of one big room. However, even this didn't last long. His dad began to be moved around to different factories, ultimately becoming a contract worker. Milo characterizes his childhood by his father's constant griping about the importance of labor unions and how "absolutely fucked Margaret Thatcher.. that nasty woman..." is.

Despite this, Milo was a happy child. His sister, Genieve, was always his play-mate. She was also the first person he can remember protecting with his life, to the end. Especially when his mother and father would argue in the next room, only to bring the two siblings into their petty arguments.

Teenage Years:
Teenage-dom for Milo was filled with chaos, plain and simple. His parents divorced by the time he was 15, and his growing consciousness about the world around him only incited his rebelliousness further. He attributed money to the reason why his parents parted, putting Genieve through hell. Hearing about his father's days as a punk certainly didn't help, and it was only a matter of timebefore Milo began scouring the local scene on a regular basis. After meeting his bandmates, he found a second family. His friends Piper, Marin, and Alejandro became the people he grew to protect the most, almost as much as Evie. As Milo grew more rebellious, he grew quieter. It got to the point where people were turned off by just how quiet Milo could get. He seemed dangerous and mysterious to most, hence why many avoided his gaze. Including his mom, who refused to see him anymore after his several outbursts in college. Despite this, he tried to make the best out of his life, even as he grew more withdrawn.

Present:
Now, Milo is more sullen and dangerous-seeming than ever. He's on his own in the apocalypse, holed up in a nearby farm that his dad's friend used to take him to over the summers. He's just trying to make it through the day.

***

Extras

Family:

✧ Genieve Fiorello, sister
Evie used to try to hang out in his room or talk to his friends who come by to pick him up for a punk show. She was always hanging on his shoulder, trying to get Milo to let her tag along (the answer was always no. At home, he's a kind, loving brother who'll play Uno with her until the sun rises, but in public, he's the most annoying and rude person she knows. The difference always mystified her, and she always wanted to observe her protective brother in action.

Now, as he's all grown up, they've parted ways. She attends Oxford. Or well... she used to. Now, Milo doesn't know where she is.

✧ Lilianna Fiorello, mother
A hard worker, Lily was the breadwinner for her family for many years. She never expected a thank-you or a hug, but she did expect some common decency, especially from her husband. Unfortunately, she didn't receive that. What was actually depression, she thought to be a lack of affection from her husband. Lily had higher expectations and she grew bitter when her husband didn't deliver. It was only a matter of years and economic circumstance before she finally settled to divorce Warren.

When Milo began to show similar traits to her former husband, Lily grew bitter. His antics became too much for her to bear. She started hating her son, and it only took one more incident before her love turned sour.

✧ Warren Fiorello, father
Warren, whose gruff and sarcastic behavior is not too far off from Milo's {cough cough... toxic masculinity, who?}, doesn't actually give his eldest much attention. Not that Milo minds. W̶h̶i̶c̶h̶ ̶i̶s̶ ̶a̶ ̶b̶i̶g̶,̶ ̶f̶a̶t̶ ̶l̶i̶e̶. However, when they do have bonding moments when his dad isn't working a double, they find all sorts of things to discuss. They talk about everything under the sun. Sometimes, it feels like they're friends as opposed to father and son.

Full Name: Zelda Rae Palace
Nickname: Z, ZZ Top, World War Z, Mr. Fitzgerald’s Wife, Zeldy
Age: eighteen
Birthday: Februrary 29th
Zodiac: Pisces
Birthplace: Columbus, Ohio
Faceclaim: Salem Mitchell

Sexuality: Homosexual
Height: 5'4''
Hair: Tucked into neat braids that trail down her back, Zelda never has her hair tucked out of place. Usually, she peppers in jewlery that Cash made for her years ago that highlight the intricacy of her braids.
Eyes: With dark eyes, almost black, Zelda has a tendency to be unnerving when she stares people down. Her quiet demeanor only makes her big eyes more apparent.
Skin: With freckles on her face and lightly melanated skin, Zeldy’s smile always brights up a room.
Body Mods: tattoo 1 {on her side, under her left breast} | tattoo 2 {forearm}

Likes: calling movies films ✧ eating non-dairy ice cream from the tub ✧ cuddling with an animal ✧ having her arm draped around someone’s shoulder ✧ editing ✧ sending people memes related to their astrology sign ✧ laughing with her friends ✧ talking to strangers ✧ giving tours of her bus ✧ having someone she cares about sign their name (or paw print) to her bus ✧ blasting music using the PA system of her bus ✧ dressing up as Stevie Nicks but as a clown ✧ same thing with Elvis ✧ making people laugh
Fears: her father ✧ disappointing others ✧ conflict ✧ loud movie theaters ✧ spending more than $5 at a time ✧ being called “crazy” or something along those lines ✧ dreaming ✧ her siblings abandoning her ✧ losing brief moments of happiness ✧ forgetting things ✧ the dark ✧ hurting animals or assisting in their abuse ✧ being powerless ✧ inauthenticity
Personality Overall:
The other Palace siblings often forget that the littlest amongst them joined Brian Palace when she was six. This is understandable, considering there's little inclination that Zelda's suffered anything traumatic. She's soft-spoken, often speaking in a dream-like tone that suggests she's having a reverie about her past incarnations. However, beyond her gentle appearance, there are some obvious inclinations that she's suffered something malign. For instance, she's the adult version of a toddler that is constantly tugging on someone's pant leg, gasping for someone to stick by her. It's no coincidence that if she isn't begging for someone's attention, Zelda is off under a tree with an animal, more than likely talking to it. Ultimately, she wasn’t to please others, especially her siblings who have stood by her through everything. If only they didn’t pull her in two different directions- two different Zeldas. That isn’t even counting the one Brian Palace created.
At her core, she is a star-studded, hippie queen! Zelda will never be the life of the party, but she's known to crack joke after joke with her adoptive brother, Linus. Drunk Zelda is known to do shitty, unwanted covers of the group's acts or to force others to withstand her Juggalo makeovers. Outside of a distinctly social context, however, she's pretty reserved until she gets comfortable enough to roast the absolute shit out of someone. She's not known to hold back, ever, and this usually gets her into trouble. Meaning it only in fun and a twisted sense of affection, Zelda doesn’t understand why people get offended. To her, it’s pretty lowbrow stuff. She could be meaner if she wasn’t joking. In fact, the kind girl could belittle a person to the point of immense shame if she needed to. Of course, World War Z doesn’t want to hurt anyone. Kind of. It’s a bit more complicated than that.
Zelda Rae’s favorite ground is the middle. Outwardly, she’s wishy-washy to the point of annoyance, but internally she has a strong moral code. She just happens to be very good at ignoring it. That’s her motto- Ignore it until it festers. One could never call Zeldy a proactive person. There’s one thing she doesn’t procrastinate the shit out of, and that’s writing her next short film Even with her “father” breathing down her neck and calling her terrible names, she never loses focus on what she most desires.
One last note- don’t fight with Zelda. Ever. Just not a good idea. Seen that one scene in the terribly hilarious DCom Sky High? Zeldy gets angry like when the green-thumb redhead takes down the cheerleader with her numerous plants. Instead of plants, it’s words and intimidating looks from her menagerie of animals. Though Zelda struggles to have a backbone, she won’t stand to be “bullied” {Which is just general disagreement} in an argument, even if it’s a simple conversation about whether or not dogs or cats are better.

Headcanons:
✧ Started smoking when she was thirteen, but she's somehow avoided smoker's breath with copious amounts of mints and mouthwash
✧ Her "RV" is actually a restored school bus she convinced everyone to help her paint a vibrant mix of colors. It’s where she plans to live once she gets out of high school.
✧ Vegan
✧ Secretly dreams of settling down in the woods with her family and friends; In her dreams, everyone is happy
✧ In another life, she was a bunny. But a bunny who dressed in gogo boots and listened to Janis Joplin.
✧ Definitely believes in Karma and reincarnation, though wouldn't necessarily consider herself a Buddhist
✧ Once dreamed of being a professional roller skater, giving her an entire repertoire of tricks. Though perhaps that’s because she used to dream of being a clown on skates
✧ She dreamed of becoming a Juggalo, even perfecting her look during her tween years. Thankfully, Zelda is more of a fan of the creepy clown doll look + making it cutesy.
✧ Gay as f!ck but is terrified of coming out, even though Linus is. Plus- she hasn't exactly realized it herself. To some extent, Zelda Rae knows. She has to! But the other half of her refuses to acknowledge it. Her other siblings simply wouldn't understand, and they might even rat her out to Palace over it.
✧ Secretly filming a documentary, hence why her shitty camcorder is out all the time. Her father usually bullies her about, having broken a few cameras in his time.
✧ Film buff and hippie historian; will probably tell someone off about Fight Club and how it's actually making fun of toxic masculinity
✧ Learned all her favorite lines to Monty Python and the Holy Grail; will quote them when drunk
✧ Has a collection of Russian nesting dolls as mementos from most resale shops she stops by

History:
Zelda became the girl who lived when she was given to Brian Palace, though not willingly. When her mother tried to murder her, Zeldy was taken away from the single mother and put into foster care. It wasn’t long until Brian, her foster father, adopted her. However, it wasn’t much after the adoption papers were signed that things began to change. Criticism took place of love. Violence became a frequent visitor. Zelda grew quiet, not really speaking much more. She became obsessed with fiction, consuming it as a way to escape the world around her.
Yet, even baby Zelda knew her fairy tales and love for Aladdin weren’t going to ever be a reality. Something about Palace always felt off, and one look at her newfound family proved right. Yvonne, the second oldest Palace sibling, hadn’t joined them yet, but it didn’t take long to see her broken down either. Tyler often stuck to Palace’s side, and he looked down on her when she first arrived. Linus had black circles under his eyes when she arrived, not quite over what he endured when he first arrived. She soon learned this was a universal experience, given Brian Palace’s systematic breaking of his “children.” You adjust, you change, and you learn to keep the parts of yourself separate. The Zelda most known isn’t the one she would say she learned to be, but it is the one she likes the most.
However, her siblings did come to protect her, even if they had their own drama to cope with. To some extent, she had a fairly normal adolescence. At least she got to experiment with her emo phase and her far-too intense Juggalo phase. That doesn’t mean she hasn’t experienced her fair share of trauma or conditioning. She has. Zelda is just thankful to have people who try to protect her, even if they don’t understand the difference between protection and control.

When her and Cash became friends in school, it was a miracle. She finally made a friend beside her siblings. Then, Cash disappeared after his aunt died, leaving Zelda to her own devices. It hurt her feelings, even writing off Cash as her friend. Yet, they’re both going off to boarding school, so it appears she might be stuck with him.

Ailments: humans.
Alignment: chaotic good
General Personality:

It’s a surprise that Hela is a demon, given her sugar-coated words and bubbly demeanor. One would think that after century upon century of living life, she would‘ve faded. Instead, immortality emboldened her. It was easy with so many pesky humans to mess with. She’s seen the best and the worst of them, and she can’t help but love them all. They are so easy to manipulate, making fantastic friends and even better lovers. Truth be told, Hela has lived her life amongst humans with the utmost privilege. Immortality has given her the world at her finger tips, and she acts like it. God may have banished her from the splendors of eternal life in Heaven by His side, but she has the splendors of humanity to enjoy.

Some may say that Hela can be a bit selfish at times. Even a little self absorbed. However, she’s never wasteful. She’s had the same host for almost two centuries, sustaining her life beyond its expiration date. On top of that, she’s a lazy vegetarian, not exactly a fan of consuming meat but will do so when it’s going to go to waste. Still, she tends to act irresponsibly, letting her anger get the best of her. Centuries of living hasn’t mellowed out her deep seeded anger issues, even though she’s arguably more empathetic in a human form than she ever was living in the depths of Hell. The humans around her, particularly the terrible ones, have brought to her attention the disasters of their humanity. While finding it oddly beautiful, she can’t help but want to fix their follies. On the surface, Hela is an exceptionally ditzy young woman, yet she’s highly intelligent and ready to serve the people. In the past, she was evil, prone to cruelty given the years of trauma she endured. However, after almost two centuries of living the high life, she’s ready for something more, something meaningful. Above all, no one can deny the inherit humanity to Hela, even if it’s shrouded in dumb blonde moments.

History:
Almost two centuries prior, Sitri possessed the body of Hela Sjörgen, a sweet young woman of the early 19th century. After almost half a decade of sitting in the pits of Hell, regenerating their strength after their last possession, they stumbled upon Hela, who was dying of typhus. Taking pity on the poor human, Sitri took her body, excavating most of her consciousness and allowing her suffering to end. For the first century, Hela mostly divulged in the carnival pleasures humans offered. Pulling off one black widow marriage after the next, Hela survived primarily off of other people's money, making her millions quickly with several marriages. It wasn't until the late 19th century that she thought to go into business for herself. As an enchantress and a fan of collecting humanoid lovers, she quickly discovered her knack at being a brothel owner. For almost fifty years, she resided in a decently-sized city, offering up her girls' services and even her own. It was an agreeable work environment, allowing for her girls to work peacefully and with a decent wage. However, Hel was arrested by the local police in the early 1920s, resulting in her six years in prison for possession of alcohol and prostitution.

Following her time in prison, Hela moved to Lazarus, finally taking the refuge the city offers. From there, she became a staple around the mystical city. She took to the city easily, opting to transform her brothel business to simply an escort business. As the years progressed, she made enough money and had enough employees to start a strip club. One thing that the demoness excelled in was sex work, and she was determined to make the world see her business and her employees as humans, respectable. She didn't withstand clients who disrespected employees, allowing them to face her wrath. Nothing stops her from doing away with crass humans who don't understand respect. However, as the years passed, Hela has grown too accustomed to her world, striving for something new. She's watched as many of her girls and boys were subjected to inequalities at the hands of the law. Part of her wanted to take her demonic powers and destroy the world. She's seen what injustice looks like, experienced it herself. It unearthed the same anger that she felt in the Underworld, as she was passed up time and time again for her siblings. There was a reason she didn't return home. Hela will be damned if the human world makes her return home.

This all finally led her to attend college, strangely enough {could be online school if there's no university in Lazarus}. As a pre-law student, Hela hopes to learn as much as she can about politics and the law before heading off to graduate school. While she still operates her escort services, she's left her best human friend and former underling, Arya, to take care of and manage her strip club, Sapphire Dreams. While she stops by frequently to check on business and do homework at the bar, Hela is most notable for her private services, offering up herself for $500 a night as dates to high society events. Given she's independently wealthy due to her "parents," she can easily pass in the world of business.
Relations:

Arya Maliviya ✧
Damaris Goddrie

relationship: Hela's right-hand man. Arya, despite being a human, is able to be Hela's greatest and closest friend. They run Sapphire Dreams, the strip club that Hela owns. They've been friends since Arya dropped out of high school and became one of her best dancers. Now, they're the bartender and manager, serving Hela drinks when she comes in to do homework. Arya is known to be quite stoic, though not intentionally. They have an RBF that rivals the most bitchy of people. However, when they're with the people they know well, they come out of their shell and crack a plethora of jokes.

Ingrid Komatsu ✧ Rina Fukushi

relationship: One of Hela's best dancers and escorts. She's lively and bubbly, getting along with Hela because of their similar personalities. They sometimes go on double escort dates together, helping each other out and covering each other's six. Ingrid is also a human, like Arya. Hela calls her Gritty as an affectionate nickname.

Andrej Klasanovic ✧ Kayden Hesketh

relationship: Another one of Hela's dancers. Decades ago, she extended her club to be gender-inclusive, allowing dancers of any gender to join. Andrej was one of these male dancers, quickly also becoming one of the dutiful members of Hela's posse.

Species: demon
Powers:
Amokinesis - The ability to control feelings related to affection and love. In folkloric tales, Sitri is known to force men and women to fall in love, even to become naked if they so chose. In actuality, Hela has power over feelings of love, despite hailing from an unloving place.
Lectio Amnio - The ability to read someone's soul and know the absolute truth. Sitri is known to reveal people's secrets, hence why Hela has this power.
Teleportation + Summoning - It's quite easy to summon Hela, requiring only her symbol to be drawn on the floor and candles be placed on each of the three crosses in the middle. It doesn't help to put some lip smackers lip gloss or a pair of Louis in the middle, too.
Possession - Expert at possession, Hela has inhabited many bodies in her time, including her current one.
Temptation - With her sassy smile, Hela is able to convince anyone to do her bidding, though she tries to only use it for simple things.
Weaknesses:
Pinnochioism - The inability to lie without drastic consequences. With the power to know the absolute truth of people's souls, her soul cannot suffer lying without something physical happening to her. Depending on the size of the lie, she either gets a small stomach ache or her face is covered in open cuts for hours. This weakness doesn't extend to information about her host body, so she faces no consequences for things like saying her age is twenty-one or her name is Hela.
Religious artifacts/places/sacred symbols - Let's just say that Hela doesn't go to church and tries to avoid most apothecaries.
Banishing Rituals - Hela has been banished back to Hell a few times, but thankfully she's avoided confronting what waits for her back home for the past two centuries.
Trapping Sigil - Thankfully, Hela has never been trapped with a traping sigil.
Extra:
✧ Hela Sjörgen is the name of Sitri's host body, though at this point Sitri does not think of themselves as anything other than Hela.
✧ Understands their demonic origins as being from Christianity
✧ When angry, her eyes turn black and skin becomes covered with magenta scales. Her ears are naturally a little pointy, but she grows small horns when upset.
✧ Tends to consume the souls of humans she doesn't like

Raised with hippie inhibitions left Bird with the mark of hippiedom: he's easy movable- at least physically. He's never been one to be held-down by conventional attachments, including material belongings or casual friends. However, his personal views can be said to be the exact opposite. He loves to argue and is known to talk miles a minute. That isn’t to say that he's a good opponent. No, Birdie stumbles over his words and spews double entendres constantly. Still, he knows the time and places for such arguments, and he's willing to “go for just about anything” when it comes to hanging out (except don’t mess with him and Kurt; he will always insist on playing him).

One could argue though that, beyond useless topics of conversation (i.e. Are rats Republicans, Dems, or Libertarians?) or things he's wholeheartedly passionate about (i.e. Equality, representation, etc.), Birdie is pretty indifferent to most things. He doesn’t care much about what others think of him, but that doesn’t mean he won’t stand up for himself. He just won’t let it ruin her day.

background

Birdie is the son of two hippies that, from the start, lived unconventionally. For the first four years of his life, he lived in the middle of the woods. The smell of water-rotted wood and cannabis reminds him of his innocence and times before he realized not everyone's dad was a Board Member of an infamous motorcycle club, nor were their moms like his mom. However, some conventionality was found (though Nirvana was never one for conventions) when Ray's Body Shop finally took off and they could afford to make their dream home. Gone was the dingy trailer, replaced by a wood cabin with a wraparound porch.

However, that didn't stop Nirvana from being an outsider for most of his life. His parents lived their life according to their rules, and it often confused others that weren't part of the club. Hell, even some of the older club members never understood his parents, even if his father was a legacy member. Still, the bullying from elementary made the club his only sense of security and family. Even his pseudo-grandpa and Club President, Noah, put aside his lack of understanding to love Nirvana and his family.

However, when Bird's mother died when he was thirteen, the club didn't seem to grieve her death the way those closest to her did. They always found her odd, and Noah often blamed her for the change amongst the younger members. She left a mark on the club, that's for sure, but that influence wasn't always appreciated. Noah's wife, Rachel, and Nirvana's mother, Poppy, always got along, making the divide even worse. Both women were known for their kind, welcoming nature. Like Rachel, Poppy always had a new quilt to wrap around someone's shoulder when they came to her crying. They both were always ready to teach a group of bikers how to bake chocolate cookies. They worked together on many of the projects that made the club seem less scary. The only difference is that Rachel provided those things for the older members, and Poppy - the younger ones. That's where the divide comes from, leading to many of the members aged 35 or less grieving Poppy like a mom. In many ways, she was.

While Nirvana's mother lives on with the club, it's weird to be older and about to join the club himself. It often feels like Noah blames him too for the change in values of the younger club members. It's not a huge deal, but when it involves Board protocols and the desire for the club to be taken seriously, things get complicated. Nirvana and the rest of the youngsters want to become less intimidating to the rest of the town, but the older members want to still be intimidating, mysterious. Everyone would love the destigmatization, but the older members aren't willing to give up their facades to do that. With the youngsters trying to be funny and have fun while still making a living, the differences really start to shine through.

Backing up to more about Nirvana's family:

To say that Bird's childhood was unconventional would be an understatement. On the weekends, his parents escaped to the local, underground clubs while Nirvana was baby-sat by the club fledglings that hung around his house because his parents are “just so cool, but you know that right?” Without Paola, his favorite babysitter and the prettiest goth girl he ever laid his eyes on, he would never have learned about STDs, tampons, and sexuality. Not that his parents didn’t care- they just assumed he must have already known. Paola was his closest friend until she left for the University of Berkeley (to which his parents told Paola to “raise hell and get thrown off-campus” as they had done). Then, his closest friend became Santo Lopez, the son of his father's best friend, Alejo, and they discovered their own way to rebel in the way their parents always encourages. Together, they manage freshman year together, and they’re start doing what their parents did as kids: attending concerts and blasting music. Their friendship can be traced through the bars they illegally entered past 9 to witness music at what they called “its finest” (and don’t tell Nirvana otherwise. He bites) or the house parties they snuck into to hear someone cover Nirvana's god: Cobain. Or the miles they traveled to see their modern favorites, live.

The older they got, however, the more real life got in the way of their musical escapades. They formed a band, that while it still exists, never plays. By the time they turned 16, it became apparent that they needed jobs. That's where Ray, Nirvana's dad came in. Ray's Body Shop was notorious for hiring club members, primarily because no one really remembered that Ray was a club member, making his business fairly profitable. Hiring Santo and Nirvana, he taught them everything he knows.

With Poppy passed away, work helped give Nirvana and Ray direction and something to bond over. From then on, the two have been surprisingly close.

Background:
{TW: mentions of blood, verbal and physical abuse}

There was always something odd about her, like watching a car crash. She was a curiosity, and she caught everyone's attention this way. This just worsened in the coming years. Along with her luck.

⊱ For example, Vi’s only true ex (whom she dated in secret for a week in 7th grade) quite literally died the day after they kissed for the first time. People suspected she had something to do with it; after all, he was walking home from her house. Still, Violet was literally eleven. As one might imagine, the guilt and the stares ate at her. It always unsettled her. However, later on in life, she simply decided that most people who kiss her find her abysmal, the universe forcing them to ghost her the first second they get. After all, given what happened after Swim Team Girl kissed her... Violet has notoriously bad luck with kisses.

⊱ Though she isn’t exactly aware of her abilities, Vi knows that there’s something off about her. I̶t̶ ̶d̶o̶e̶s̶n̶’t̶ ̶h̶e̶l̶p̶ ̶t̶h̶a̶t̶ ̶s̶h̶e̶ ̶h̶a̶s̶n̶’t̶ ̶s̶l̶e̶p̶t̶ ̶f̶o̶r̶ ̶m̶o̶r̶e̶ ̶t̶h̶a̶n̶ ̶t̶h̶r̶e̶e̶ ̶h̶o̶u̶r̶s̶ ̶a̶ ̶n̶i̶g̶h̶t̶ ̶i̶n̶ ̶s̶i̶x̶ ̶y̶e̶a̶r̶s̶. Later on, after learning she's a Hallow. it will occur to her why she doesn't sleep. Something has always kept her awake at night, a feeling of constant adrenaline pushing her to explore the forest late at night when no one’s awake. To keep herself from exploring where she shouldn't.

⊱ However, we're getting ahead of ourselves. despite Violet’s insistence that she’s a normal, Christian girl with a little bit of the Devil’s spirit hanging around, she can’t lie to herself about the events that led her to the scholarship at {REDACTED}, her boarding school.

⊱ On a steamy, July night, her father was at it again. Fulfilling every cliché concerning preachers, he took his alcoholism and abuse to new heights. Coming home from a Girl Scouts sleepover, Violet found her father seemingly stone-cold sober. He was set before the hot plate, grilling up some steaks, with his mouth set in line so thin Vi couldn’t make it out. They passed some pleasantries, before she asked what was for dinner. This set him off. He wouldn’t stop talking about how much of a quote-on-quote “lying whore” she was. Oh, and a plethora of other slurs (some slut-shaming, some homphobic. You know- a good mix). He claimed that she made him look like a fool in front of everyone who sits before his pulpit on Sundays. In the midst of his anger, he brought up her kiss with the swim team girl (who outed her a day before States…), calling her every name under the sun.

⊱ That’s when red-hot lightning began to burn through her veins. Her eyes glowed, small orange flames dancing beneath her eyelashes.

⊱ And all Violet could feel was the bow breaking on the years of abuse she’d suffered since her mother left in search of her true self. Her tears dried up, the blood began to flow back into her head, and the goose egg that was forming already began to fade.

⊱ She picked up the bottle, feeling her shoulder ache with the thought.

⊱ She held it up, poised to hit him back. His mouth was open; hands held up in preparation for the blow. Her eyes welled up. Violet knew how afraid he was. Pulling the bottle towards her chest, she spit in his face before opening the bottle, dumping its contents all over him.

⊱ She had nothing to say to him, dropping the empty glass next to him. Turning off the hotplate, she left his trembling body on the floor near their glassware hutch. "Clean up your mess," Vi said quietly, glaring at him, before disappearing into her room with the first aid kit.

⊱ After the fateful July day, Harold left his daughter alone, nursing his wounded pride in his room or at the church. There were quite a few sermons about shedding the Devil’s control in the coming weeks, but Violet didn’t attend them. She decided religion wasn’t for her. In fact, she avoided it all together, for obvious reasons. On the Sunday after the 𝐸𝓋𝑒𝓃𝓉, where her father spoke on the religious themes in The Exorcist (which unsettled multiple attendees, especially as he stared at his daughter the entire time), Vi was trying to not think about what happened only a few days earlier. She knew what her father was implying, and instead of pondering why, she started looking for a way out.

⊱ For once, luck played in her favor. Perhaps fate? Coming home from church that day, she stopped by the mail box to grab the mail from Saturday as her dad brought in the garbage cans. The only piece of mail was a flier for {REDACTED}, an elite boarding school for the affluential people of New England. On the back of the flier, there was an announcement about the offerings of scholarships, particularly one for incoming freshmen. As though an answer to her thoughts, she felt her heart swell with hope. 𝒮𝒽𝑒 𝒽𝒶𝒹 𝒶 𝓌𝒶𝓎 𝑜𝓊𝓉. It was only a matter of time before Harold was back as king, and who knows what he would do to her. With the due date for the online application due in just a week, Violet utilized her insomnia for something productive and worked night and day on her application. With only two weeks left before September, she received her acceptance to {REDACTED}.

⊱ With a new-found hope, Vi set to crafting the perfect wardrobe, intent on making a new start at {REDACTED}. When she arrived, the host of rich, spoiled brats and scholarship kids accepted her with open arms, no longer making her the outcast. This was even more so confirmed when she joined the Cheer Squad. All the girls take to her leadership easily, finding her energy intoxicating instead of confusing and off-putting, even if they find her tendencies secretly annoying. Still, she can’t help but be drawn to theatrics… or maybe it’s that powerful feeling that subsists within her. Whatever it is, Violet never wants to be on the bottom again.

⊱ After four years of being on top, Violet is surprised to find high school coming to a close. She is scheduled to graduate Salutatorian, much to many people's surprise. Who would've thought between Cheer and the spring musical she'd find time for homework? Now, Violet is scheduled to attempt NYU on a partial scholarship. It is time for her to enter adulthood, and she faces the door ready, prepped with her false identity as the HBIC heiress who has just as many zeroes in her bank account as secrets on everyone in school.

⊱ However, Violet Williams is in for a helluva surprise when she learns about who she really is.... A Hallow.

Powers:

Dream-walking - Her main reason for insomnia. It's unintentional though with a little work she could definitely make it more targeted. She can easily explore other's dreams, involving herself in the dreams. She doesn't have the ability to majorly change anyone's dreams. At most, she can talk to the dreamer and implant an idea in their head. Think Inception.

Shadow-manipulation - Arguably the scariest and most impressive of her abilities. Silhouettes are her friends, easily transformed. They follow her command, though she hasn't tested the limits of this ability (At the start of the rp, though, I'd prefer if she didn't know she had this ability, letting her explore it later on).

Illusion - Very mild. Taps out at just smoothing over her features, and she often does it subconsciously. Though, this is often why she doesn't like being in big groups of people because she finds it draining to hold the illusion in front of so many people, even if she doesn't realize she's doing it.
Preferred Treat: Diet Coke. It's like crack.
