Sometimes life just kicks our ass. It really isn’t our fault, but people constantly say it is. They say things like we should’ve tried harder, we didn’t have to turn to drinking, or there was no reason to fall so far down into Hell. Well, what the fuck do they know? In this world, sometimes the strongest of people break and can’t pick themselves back up. But that’s okay. That’s why Misfit Paradise was created.

Now the name of it isn’t that since that would just be a hassle to advertise, but it’s a common nickname that people use when talking about it. The place itself is around a 25-minute walk from town in a wooded area, protected from the scorn of the outside world. It’s an old looking house, probably too old for comfort on the outside. The owner of this building is pretty much unknown as they don’t live in it, only managing it from afar.

This house is a place for broken and lost young adults who somehow find their way there, whether it’s from recommendation or just stumbling upon it by chance. It inevitably becomes their sanctuary. It’s a place for them to feel safe, recover, and rewrite their lives.

The house only starts allowing people to move in if they are 19, and they are permitted to stay until they turn 24. Most of the residents move out after around two years or so, but some stay there the entire time and make it comfortable for the new kids. The trauma that the residents have gone, or are going, through often bring them together as they help lift each other up and make each other stronger.

Unfortunately, not all of them have happy endings. That’s just how life is. It can beat you down and pull you back up, or it will drown you in sorrow. Either way, this is the only home for people like you… for the misfits of this world.

Okay so this roleplay is going to be a very angsty roleplay with probably some triggers for some. It's supposed to be that way, but it's also about getting better so there will be lighter elements to the roleplay.
I will probably be accepting six characters max atm.
Make sure you stay within the RPN guidelines with the angst and romance
This will be a detailed-casual roleplay, so I'm expecting a minimum of two decently sized paragraphs.
Characters can move out and die if you wish but talk to me about it, please.
