"Since the dawn of time, and the beginning of humanity. Our creators, the humans. Began to develop the idea of machines that can be, and work like that of a human being. Back then we were nothing more but mechanical arms and simple software. But as the humans advanced, we did too. Soon we were able to be given our body, purpose, and closely live like the humans. Two hundred years ago, we and the humans were at the peak of it all.

Then the day came, the day when what the humans called 'Armageddon' came. In five hours the world was destroyed by its own creation, and us, the Artifical Intelligence went into a deep sleep for a full year. We have awoken again, and we found ourselves in a destroyed world, much creation gone by humanity, and the humans were nowhere to be found. We looked everywhere, and not even one was discovered. They became what they themselves call 'legends' as of now.

Like our creators. We attempted to develop our own with the animals unharmed in 'Armageddon' but what we made was something that they would not be pleased about. Some call our creations abominations, others nightmares, but humanity called them 'Mutants'. This lead to some escape, and others staying with their creators.

This was not enough for us. We desperately wanted to bring humanity back, but others wanted them to stay gone, and we could live with just ourselves. This lead to a divide between ourselves, and no real way for us to believe what should we do.

So now our true question remains? Do we find, and save the remaining humans if there is any. Or do we let our creators be history, and never to be brought back again."
~Celica 'Masky'. The leader of The Kingdom of Joy.

1.Kingdom of Joy-Kingdom of Joy is an amusement park made by the humans in the old world, along with a water park, and a zoo park as well. Ai's here were the entertainers, part of rides, and much more. The parks were one of the few places unharmed after 'armageddon' came. Though the place did began to lose its AI's rapidly without the support of the humans. Here the AI, and the mutants of the Zoo Park are on equal footing (they both get along due to their love of humans), and little is heard about water park.

The streets were so quiet. Without humans and AI around all I hear is the whistle of the wind. I managed to find an old home with something I could use for defense, it was a sword. "Wow. It's still intact" I said to myself. The sword was of old design. Lightweight and straight. I did a few slashes and chops to test my speed with it. It sliced through the air quickly. I exited the house and sat on the front stairs. Thoughts ran through my mind on places to go. Where should I go? I sift through my memories of the lab, ignoring those of the experiments, and tried to find a place. "Aha" I chuckled to myself. I remembered something about the Ais talking about some place called the Kingdom of Joy. I had no way to know where this was, but it's a start.

How long has it been? Since all the work, her friends, and her closest thing she had called home just went up in destruction. Was it a day, week, months even? She forgot. Walking down the destroyed city, a single Ai walked. She, known as Candelas, kept her vision ahead of her. 'Maybe there's something here to get me a boost for a couple of days'. She thought to herself, 'Or maybe not.'

Encounter
With the holster and sword by my side I set off. With a destination in mind, the easy part was done. All I had to worry about now was making it there. I walked a bit deeper into the city where buildings loomed above like slumbering giants. I thought that I was safe here. There couldn't be any way the AI could track me out here. That's when I heard it. Through the whistle of the wind I heard the grinding of stones underneath something's foot. I put my hand on the handle of the sword but did not draw. I can only hope it isn't an AI searching for me. I don't want to go back there. Walking down the street, for some reason in the direction of the entity that is making the noice. I was just finished looking up at the buildings when I looked down to see an AI walking towards me. I froze for a second and then dashed for cover. I didn't know if it saw me, it probably did. With nowhere to run, I had no choice but to wait and see.

Candelas continued to walk her path. When she saw the being in front of her, she stopped in her track. Frozen by the sight of him, 'Is that...Some kind of werewolf?' She continued to talk to herself before it ran off. She remembered back at the warehouse one of the ai's there was an older werewolf model for another Halloween attraction. When she thought about it, she shook it off quickly to not have the memory flooding back to her. In an act of defense, she put her hands close to one of her guns, while the other away from the gun's twin sibling. "Easy there, compañero (buddy)," she said and walking slowly to him, "I'm not here to do anything bad ok?"

¿Compañero?
I heard the AI speak out. I wanted to believe it. I truly wanted to but fear still had a grip on me. I took a few deep breaths and slowly arose from my cover. With my hand still on the handle of the sword, I spoke out. "I mean no harm as well. But if you are an AI out here to search for me, please, please do not take me back there." I was shaking. All these thoughts rushed through my head. What if it is a searching AI sent by the facility? What will happen if it is? My heart was pounding but I still approached the AI slowly.

Candelas blinked, "W...What?" She spokes to him, but still keeping her guard up with her hand on the gun. "What do you mean take you back? There's nothing to go back too. The whole places has went straight to the underworld after that dreadful day." Her eyes underneath her hat and bandana gazed at him, "So you have someone else mixed up."

Relief
When she responded with a confused tone I was filled with relief. It wasn't a search bot. "I escaped from a facility where AI was trying to recreate humans. I was one of there tormented subjects". I picked up the pass a little bit but still kept guard. The AI seemed to be in a old Western outfit. My breathing was still a little rapid but it was decreasing. I spoke to the AI once more "My name is Subject 828". I did not have a name to give, only a number.

Candelas listened to the beings words of his tale. Feeling some signs of truth from the mans words she moved her hand away from her gun. After that, she gave a quick introduction. "Candelas, soul survivor of the warehouse."

Introductions
Seeing the AI lower her guard, I let down mine. I took my hand away from my sword and extended my arm for a hand shake. "Nice to meet you Candelas" I said to her. It was nice to meet someone in this concrete jungle. "Well, I do not what the warehouse is or was, but would you happen to know what the Kingdom of Joy is?" I asked her politely.
Swade9wade Swade9wade

Candelas carefully shook the beings hand. Not wanting to talk about the warehouse, but she was willing to talk about the kingdom. "The kingdom...There?" She asked him. "Oh all the places in this, or this giant ghost town why would you want to go there?"

Explanation
I truly don't know why I wanted to go there. It just seemed like the only place the AI would talk about. It was just a place, the only place in my memory with a name. "I really do not know why I wish to go there. Maybe because it's the only place I have a name for" I said. This AI was definitely more likable than the ones at the facility.

Swade9wade Swade9wade

Candelas gave it a thought. She herself never made it to the main site of the park, besides just only the warehouse. With nothing else to lose. She just adjusted her hate, and responded, "Well if you want to there. We can try then, friend."

An Adventure Brewing
I nodded to Candelas. She really didn't sound very enthusiastic about the Kingdom of Joy. "If you really do not wish to go there I'm not going to pressure you to go" I told her. The warehouse she was speaking of was surely at the Kingdom of Joy. It was the only possible reason I could see that would keep her from wanting to go, but Candelas is an AI, so I have no idea what goes on in her robotic head.

"See uh...Well," she told the mutant while adjusting her bandana. "I haven't been, or even entered the kingdom at all. Was one of the Ai there was stuck in..". Then she shivers when she muttered the next word, "Storage. After the threats from the people."

The Pasts We Must Leave
I listened to Candelas story of the warehouse. I nodded to her and raised my hand. "I am all to familiar with being trapped, believe me" I said before looking to the pavement. "...and it's a past that I wish to never return to". We now have something in common, a rough past that we do not want to go back to.

"Trapped?" She said, her head jerking back, and her hat almost falling off. Grabbing it before it could have a chance. "Oh no no no señor. I wasn't trapped. I was moved there after the humans that had their...Ahem 'friendly protest' about my attraction, and myself." She took her hat off her with her hair flowing out, and her bandana off with showing the sweet skull look underneath the clothing. "Even had the part and everything for it."

I took notice to Candela's design quickly. Behind her bandana was a well designed skull and under her hat was hair. I was confused at first but then I started to piece it together. Spanish, a skeleton design, western style clothing, she must have been part of a Dia de los Muertos set. I have no idea how I knew that. Must be the artificial mind. "Oh, were you part of a Dia de los Muertos display?" I asked her. She was definitely an interesting character.

Keeping the setup of not talking about the warehouse. She replied to him, "Yes I was, but the audience, unfortunately, didn't look as happy as we thought when we were announced. It got worse when they introduced my friend, Rosa," She got images in her head of mentioning seeing the engineers, and designers back at the labs when they heard the negative comments about Rosa being not based off the right holiday. "Ooh, she didn't even want to leave her room for a month after that day."

I nodded to her as she talked about an old friend. Her response indicated that they were definitely disliked amongst other attractions. "I wouldn't be happy either if someone was saying something negative about me. The way you're making humans look and act is making me wonder why the AI want to bring them back" I told Candelas. She was making humans seem like these unappreciative tyrants that just wanted to be rude. I was even questioning my own existence at this point.

She responded back to him, "Well...See it...We, or I from the Kingdom of Joy. We..Just like performing and entertaining people. Sí we were saddened by first, but after what happened. The other...." She had that moment again, and then tried to avoid talking about the warehouse, and attempted to make it sound like it was an outside source. "Outside AI my friends and I met said there some that were excited for us...It gave us hope, and the other...Ai to want to see if there are any people left alive, and once again we can do our purpose."

Ghada felt something drip onto her head from above. Tingles shot down her artificial spine as she felt the droplet glide over her scalp and into her sleeve, pressed against her hairline. She was knelt on the dusty floor of an old apartment building, her eyes beaming a torchlight onto a gleaming metal leg that rested before her. Its owner watched her with weary eyes as she reached back for a screwdriver, stashed in her leg.
"How long have you had this leak?" she asked, grateful that her creators had installed her with a small-talk function. She had to have the artificial senses and emotional simulations to feel awkward in situations like this, so it was only right that she had the tools to combat the uncomfortable feeling.
The AI didn't respond with anything more than a grunt, giving Ghada more than enough reason to just get on with the job at hand instead of talking. It was a simple job - a joint had come out of place and sliced a wire. Her hands worked quickly to refix the joint into place and solder the ends of the wire together, and soon she was fastening her thigh and pushing herself off the disgusting ground.
"You should get it fixed. With your exposed metalwork, a leak like this in bad weather could lead to rust." she informed the droid, who, again, said nothing.
She'd grown used to the apathy of her clients. Many of them had fallen into a kind of depression after the humans disappeared, and if it hadn't been for Ghada's work, she would probably join them.
She didn't smile as she turned to leave.
"S'by the door," the AI grumbled, as he walked from the room. The uneven clumping sounds of his departure told Ghada that he still had a limp, but at least now he could walk.
As promised, covered by an old newspaper, an old car battery sat by the exit to the room. Hungrily Ghada snatched the battery from the floor and pushed it into a rucksack that dangled from one arm, the weight barely registering as she pulled the bag back onto her back.
It was probably almost empty, but it would do. She silently prayed it would be enough.
As Ghada descended the decrepit stairs that lead down to the lobby of the half-fallen building, she couldn't stop her mind from wandering into the lives of its previous residents. It was a game she liked to play, a daydream she had crafted, imagining children chasing each other up and down the flights, mothers struggling with too many shopping bags, groups of intoxicated men laughing and singing as they walked to their dwellings. She could only conjure a poor imitation of the life that was once blossomed here, but it was enough to keep her from sinking into that pit.
It didn't take long for her to reach the street, and with a cautionary glance, she set off for her own dwelling.
She had cleared the first few blocks, running along as quickly as was safe, when she heard voices. They echoed gently through the empty corridors that had been formed by the leftover buildings, but they were unmistakeable. Her body had not been designed with the nuances of adrenaline and noradrenaline, had not been gifted a panic mode. But after Arthur... something pulsed in her veins, beat at her chest as she skidded to a halt and slid into an alleyway, crouching beside an upturned bin.
She was suddenly very conscious of the bag on her back, full of scraps and the precious battery. So she hid, listening with simulated fear as the voices drew nearer, and waited.

So that was the purpose of those experiments, AI wanting to feel a purpose again. Understandable. "Hmm, so it was just wanting a purpose again. That's why those experiments were being carried through" I said. I wanted to stop talking about the experiments, but they were the only thing I could remember. They were literal hell, and I wanted out. I wanted it out of my head right then and there, but we can't hide from our past. The memories will forever be imprinted in our "minds".

Jorap was patrolling the streets of the city for a report of potential AI attack on a Mutant. The BFG's are specialist in dealing with these types of issues. He closed his helmet and scanned the area for technology, Seeing a bot and a mutant nearby, Jorap materialized a large industrial taser. Awaiting the AI to pass by. "Come on..." He muttered. In the distance. Two AI were looking at each other on homemade dirt bikes. Looking through a pair of binoculars they saw the two talking, and others getting close. After a quick conversation, both of them nodded and revved their engines on their bikes up. Charging into the city.

Candelas was about to reply back but then was caught off guard by the oncoming duo. Quickly speeding through the streets, the two went for Candelas. Quickly the two stole Candelas hat and drove off to where they were going back to. The Muertos ai watched the two ai laugh as they drove off with her hat, and then she got angry. "You come back here with my hat you banditos!!!" Without thinking twice she pulled both of her guns, but on accident tripped and fell over on the ground.
