A witch Hunter from Southern Lapunia.
Stoic and brash, she isn't one to mince words or waste time on pleasantries.
Self-righteous and stubborn, she can be hard to get along with but is loyal those she trusts.
Sometimes she can seem overly devoted to her patron god Rimr.
Personae
Appearance:
A bit on the shorter side, she stands only 170 centimeters.
Long black hair usually kept surprisingly clean for her line of work and lifestyle.
Her skin is pale in contrast to her dark hair
Her icy blue eyes can sometimes be striking when they focus their unyielding stare at you
Her build could be described as athletically tone without any large muscles to speak of, but far from unfit.
Several small scars mar her whole body including her face.
Equipment:
While her lifestyle isn't the most profitable, it has gained her the gratitude of a few families in Lapunia.
As such, she has gotten her hands on some well crafted family heirlooms.
Her leather armor was said to be crafted from the skin of a single giant elk.
Wile her shoulder plate was made with iron and the skin and tusks of an elder bore.
Her fang necklace was given to her by a huntsman who's daughter she avenged by slaying the witch who took her life. (or so he said)
Her signature Axe "Silence" Belonged to her father Garod and she still believes his spirit watches over her through it.
In a small satchel she carries what few personal effects she has in this world:
-A small and crudely made sculpture honoring Rimr
-A bundle of herbs her mother use to use as perfume
-A small wooden talisman she believes protects her from witchcraft (it really doesn't do anything)
-And her meager coin purse. (Her money)
Personality:
stern and to the point, she can come across as crude.
She is deeply loyal to those who gain her trust as the pain of loss (Including friends) is one of her deepest fears
She has a deep fear and hatred of magic which leads to anger and prejudice to even the most benevolent of wind weavers
Reckless at times as she feels she has nothing to loose if she dies.
Biography
Place of birth: A small farming settlement in southern Lapunia
Kind of people: Lapunian
Background:
Growing up in the country side, Branka's early childhood was very normal and happy.
Her father was ever doting on her, and taught her how to be strong and bring honor to both her family and Rimr.
Her mother, while uneducated, taught her as much as folk knowlage could in an attempt to make her a better person.
The only child of two loving parents, Branka was very well taken care of.
However, when she was roughly 13 her father suddenly became deathly ill.
Her mother swore it was the work of a witch, and accused a woman who had only recently moved into the area.
Branka idolized her father and when his illness took him, something inside her died along with him.
Without her father, the small farm fell into ruin and poverty.
within two years, her mother took her life out of disrepair.
Too illiterate to write, her mother only left a second noose behind to beckon Branka come with her.
Branka was now alone, and her simply life was now over.
Searching in vain to find meaning in all this, she came to the only solution she could think of- destroy the witch.
Taking her father axe, she traveled for a day to reach the suspected witches shack and spilled blood for this first time.
Having nothing left to go back to except an ever looming noose, Branka set her sight to the mountains in the distance.
After a day of prayer, she decided that her new mission in life was to purge the world of evil so that none would suffer a fate like hers.
While the first few years were fraught with hardships and near starvation, she quickly developed her own barbaric fighting style.
her body baring each scare of failure, her style was refined in blood and pain.
While 'career' is a gray area at best, she believes she is doing the right thing and simply purging evil from the world.
Taking down everything from bares to wolves she would slay anything that a benefactor convinced her was evil.
But witch hunting was always her true passion.
Abilities
Qualities:
Physically fit and hearty, she can run for miles without being winded.
While she feels pain same as anyone, she skilled in masking it, even to the point of deceiving her enemies.
Drawbacks:
Slightly detached from reality in her pursuit of 'justice' she has a hard time fitting in with 'normal' society.
Extremely afraid of the supernatural, she is superstitious close minded.
