Scythia
Brothel to auction house

The overseer, enraged as all hell watched as his brother steps in between the two figuratively as he offers to pay double for the once chief. This act of offering to purchase this deviant made the overseer laugh frantically at the thought of a criminal being bought by his brother. After the session of laughter his face drooped down while looking at the auctioneer with the face of 'you can't be serious right ....' but the auctioneer was very serious at the idea as it made the overseer throw Scythia at the guard commanding the guard " prepare the boy for the auction, He is to be sent to the auction house in a room for himself ..." the overseer scoffed and took a seat back at his desk, looking at the auctioneer " he will be ready for departure in ten minutes..."

Scythia was dragged down to the basement as he was chained and hoses with water to clean he blood off ( but no amount of water can wash away his sins ). The blood being drained away he shivers from the chilling water before he was dried with a towel and eventually unchained to be forced to wear the auction outfits. Fancy in appeareance but it's just for show as soon as they are purchased they won't be wearing them on the way out and instead just wear plain clothing.

As the time went on and the meeting came to an end the slave is waiting at the enterance of the brothel for the auctioneer to take him . He was unguarded and could have run to escape but instead he waited patiently and silently for the auctioneer to join him and make their way to the auction house. Being already grateful enough to spare his life he didn't want to risk it further. Upon the auctioneer eventually walking towards him he stands firm before the man and comments " ready to go when you are sir...". This life of slavery is harsh but the transfer from one master to another hopefully can lighten his weight from the life threatening job back at the kitchen.

The auctioneer was indeed serious, even as his brother burst into laughter until he realized this point. Easily pulling out six thousand dollars wadded up into separate bills, the money was exchanged and double what he had been planning on paying, well really it was a lot more than double that was being exchanged for the month's haul. The auctioneer watched as the worker was thrust at a guard who disappeared, and poured himself another drink as he waited, idly inquiring if the male had happened upon their sister to which the response was not for a couple months, and an advice to go check on the younger girl. When the worker was brought up and they were said to go, the auctioneer drained his glass and stood before exiting The Dancing Crane and headed towards the auction hall across the street, leading the worker through the halls until they got to a room that was devoid of people. Having a guard at the auction hall shackle the worker as was custom within the auction hall, the shackles would not be removed until he had been bought and paid for. The vampire overseer came in and mentioned that people were beginning to fill the place and the auctioneer nodded before the pair left to continue seeing preparations. It would not be long now.

Location: Slums; Auction House

Ordan's path took him gradually towards the slums where he soon entered the darker part of Ithawell. Home to black markets, brothels, underground fighting rings, drug dealings, bars and other shady less reputable places of business; one could usually find themselves getting into fights when entering here. A place where the poor of Ithawell's citizens and rogues would live here as well. The Custos alpha heard on the streets that there was to be an auction for the month soon. Hearing word of an attack that had trickled throughout the otherwise quiet town which wasn't territory, rather neutral ground and the humans' domain, Ordan decided to enter the auction house to hear more on this attack. He could see it was beginning to fill up with vampires and werewolves as well as some affluent humans who were hoping for servants, even a few farmers that might be hoping for help on their farms. Ordan hung around, taking a glass of wine that he was offered in the lounge while everyone waited for the main hall to open so they could enter.

They waited for twenty minutes but then doors to the main hall were opened and a worker came to tell them they could enter, the former soldier and prisoner of war walking down the stately halls to the auction room, hundreds of chairs lining the area and lights shining within the room with plain beige-painted walls with warm gray mixed in, the floors being lush carpeted. Ordan took a seat next to the one who had said something about an attack, seeing other vampires and werewolves listening in, those were not of his pack and he could only assume might be rogues or perhaps members of Lichen and Boreal.

The auctioneer soon appeared on stage with the vampire overseer and mixture of human to werewolf guards who stood stoically as the auctioneer began by welcoming everyone and workers emerged from hidden doors to bring around more refreshments as chatter filled the air. Nineteen slaves would be brought up, hand chosen from the group beforehand, including a prostitute from another brothel and the worker that had killed its five comrades that he had bought from his brother at The Dancing Crane. They would be hooded and then led through the halls onto stage where the guards would kick them to their knees and chain them to the floor of the stage in front of the waiting audience which quickly began filling up.

As scythia was hooded in the prep room he felt scared, absent minded and curious if where he is to go . He is then pushed to move down the hallway as guards accompany him down the hallway and then up to the platform. He has no idea what is happening or what is going to happen next as he is being viewed by onlookers as he can't look back. The hood over his head is disabling his ability to see as he is told to step up onto the platform.

Now standing before the audience accompanied by guards and the other slaves the guards were ordered to make the slaves kneel so they can be chained up . One at a time the slaves were kicked onto the floor and chained as when it was scythia's turn only one leg was bent as he used it out of instinct to, like a freighted horse, give a powerful kick at the guard's chest behind him knocking him backwards a few feet onto his arse. Before the guard could get up two others forced Sythia onto his knees and chained him to the stage as well as his feet together. Grumbling something before the auction starts as Scythia has no idea of the audience before him.

Ordan watched, mentally counting as he saw nineteen humans led up for auction, all chatter dying as the auctioneer spoke. He, like possibly others there, noticed that one of the humans brought up for sale startled like a horse and refused to bend both knees, knocking one of the guards on his ass. While there were dismissive glances and slight growls throughout the audience, Ordan found it amusing that not all humans had been beaten down before their sales though he knew humans like the one there would be bound to be mistreated and abused when they were purchased. "Welcome humans, werewolves and vampires to the March auction," said the auctioneer. "We have several prime specims for auction today, some being imported from other countries and towns."

The auctioneer turned and nodded to the guards who stepped forward behind each human chained to the deck and their hoods were ripped off. The light would be blinding and harsh to them, forcing many of the humans to squint their eyes and drop their heads on the stage. He began by auctioning off the first human, a young boy no more than four or five, who was quickly snapped up by a rogue werewolf and the child was unchained and dragged off the stage, back into the hallways to wait for its new master to purchase it at the end of the auction. Each slave was slowly bid on, some going into the hundreds of thousands of dollars, those usually by the rich humans and richer vampires. The prostitute went for $500,500 to a vampire who was known to be a secretive and abusive fellow, not much else known about him. The auctioneer moved from the other end of the line to the human that had balked out and began speaking of it.

"This human is a troublemaker and was formerly a worker within The Dancing Crane," said the auctioneer, grabbing Scythia's hair and pulling his head up so he would be forced to look at the crowd. "Apparently he is good with cooking and fighting." There were boos at that from the crowd and titters of laughter as if something had been funny with the auctioneer's words. "He seems to be obedient but as you can see, he's like a bucking horse that needs to be trained."

"Don't they all?" called a vampire to laughter from the audience.

"This human will start at $40.00. Do I have $40.00?"

One of the humans raised a bidding paddle with their number. "$40. Do I have forty-five?" One-by-one the bidding slowly increased on the human whose hair was held tightly in the auctioneer's hand. "$500?"

"$500," called one of the humans.

"$700."

$1,000," came one of the richer vampires in Ithawell.

$8,500." The answer came from Ordan, a surprise as some knew of the Custos alpha and he didn't bid usually on these auctions, even if he visited them for information or just out of boredom to escape the house.

$9,000," called a vampire who had already purchased one of the slaves here.

"$14,000,"
came Ordan's calm voice. The price caused many to stare in surprise and people to turn to look at Ordan, the price even shocking the auctioneer who dropped Scythia's head.

As scythia was listening intently his mind was split between submission and anger as his mind is racing more and more to the thought of the people being purchased and bought by the auctioneers. This isn't a holding cell .. this is a auction house!

Hearing the boy being bid off was a bit depressing to hear the fate of Kid soup. It tastes amazing but is very pricey, he knows that there can be multiple purposes from this auction from servants to a full blown grocery ingredient.

The prostitute on the other hand was very impressive as she served well at the costly amount of around 500K. Unfortunately he knows well too much of her fate as she will be used again and again until her death... poor girl ...

Then eventually as all great events couldn't get worse came himself as last of the selection. The hood being pulled off of him made him squint and smile wide as the eyes were looking directly at the light the way he was grabbed by the hair to face the audience . His eyes at first were fixated upon the auctioneer for the grabbing of his hair and for such a pathetic bid, his life was worth much more than that at least he thought . His eyes eventually adjusted to the light by the $500 mark as he looks now upon the crowd to see how valueless he is. His smile he couldn't help when he is in a bad situation or confrontation In public or private. It's a habit for him. His eyes focused as he looks at the man who bidded at 8500 as it was a reasonable amount for him. Of course someone had to topple it with 9000 but he became surprised greatly at the whopping amount made by the same man. His eyes once unmotivated and lazy now fixed upon the man as he hunts down for answers of why so much. His head was released but his eyes remain fixated upon he individual.

He was sold...

Being released to the holding bay he waits until the end of the auction to see the slaves crying mostly beside him as he just sits among them thinking why that much ... as everyone else was there and gone to their new masters he was last left as he auctioneer was sent to hand over Scythian to Ordan. Getting up and whispering into his ear he said " I'll be back shortly for you ..." he laughs a bit to himself before he walks to Ordan's side in chains. His mood swapping like a switch to quiet and obedient in hopes to not get stabbed to death on the first day.

Ordan
Location: Auction House to Ithawell General
Nobody else dared bid on the human that had kicked out like a horse, Ordan pulling out a checkbook and writing out the amount of money needed onto the check and singing his name, making the check out to the auctioneer. He could have brought cash but didn't feel like going to the bank for that and he hadn't planned on coming here in the first place. Cash or check was the only way a slave could be purchased, most of the time in cash so it couldn't be traced. Ordan ripped the check off and placed the checkbook into one of the bags at his feet as those who hadn't won made their way out solely or in groups of three, those slaves who had been purchased being taken back, dressed and then taken with their masters to new lives.

Getting to his feet, there was the slightest winch as the movement pulled against old scars and he bent to pick up the bags he had not bothered to drop off at the car. Ordan hefted the bags easily into one hand and passed over the check to the auctioneer, speaking momentarily to one of the workers who bowed and disappeared into the hallways. Ordan spent a bit of time signing a few papers and getting copies which were folded and slipped into one of the bags, told he could not return the human if it proved defective or get his money back which Ordan already knew this policy and just nodded without much of an answer before sitting down again to wait until his new slave was brought to him. It was unfortunate, he had not found out much information on the attack other then whispers that it had happened in broad daylight shortly after sunrise, causing the wolf to frown, and something a pregnant teenager wandering around for the past few weeks. Could it be a rogue wolf or vampire? He doubted a human would do something like that. His frown remained even as Scythia was brought to him and the former soldier looked the human over.

Turning, he began walking without speaking to the human he had just purchased for a hefty sum, and headed out of the room. Making his way towards the main doors of the front room, the guards said it was okay to go and he nodded in thanks before heading out into the now mid-morning sunshine. Usually the auctions were housed at night for the vampires' benefit, but occasionally there might be daytime auctions like this one to give more favor to the werewolves and humans. Making his way through the slums, Ordan did not speak as he spoke briefly to a few people who knew him, mostly about inconsequential things but was given a warning of Ithawell General and police being there. Nodding in thanks and exchanging a couple dollars for the information, Ordan considered his next choices. His pack did nothing to the humans, well Ordan had just bought this slave but if he did buy slaves, they were often put on the train to whatever home they had come from with strict orders to not return or he wouldn't protect them...either that or they ran away.

Ordan didn't see a lot of point in them when he had omega rank, something that it seemed Lichen and Boreal did not have. However, slaves would be necessary should he get any vampire pack members as they would need fresh blood and animal blood wouldn't cut it. But that was partly where his doctor friend came in who could access blood for any vampires. "We are going to Ithawell General and you don't need to fear for your life much...I'm not one of those leeches in the auction house." The scorn in the man's voice was filled with hatred at the mention of vampires. "You can help my omega with things around the house but ultimately answer to me as your owner though are to carry yourself with dignity and respect. Until I decide for what use I am going to strictly use you for, you can cook and be my bodyguard...my eyes and ears of an old term. Ultimately you have no rights anymore with the purchase and are in essence my slave...should you annoy me I will kill you or sell you to a leech as a blood slave."

Scythia
Ithawell slums

Being escorted out by his new master he walks away alongside him silently as he knows the master has shit to do and important things to run and he will not be a burden to the master. Lingering along with the werewolf he huffed at the air as he never breathed it before. A lot more.. fresh despite being a slum pestilence is sickening atmosphere it was greater than the slave conditions before. His eyes fluttered at the sight of the sun for the first time in his life he pointed at it and murmurs outloud " what's that and why so bright ?" He turns his head away from the sun as he continues to wander with his new master. From place to place , sitting and waiting patiently for his master to do things and get them done eagerly as the thought of getting tasks done excites him.

Noticing multiple times at glance his leader is quiet makes Scythia reflect upon his master by slowly more and more becoming mute 🤐 until his head perks up to hear him talking. This time directly to Scythia. The first set of words doesent really set his guard down due to a lifetime of lies and edge being put on him that he has to deal with. The part that made him surely change in emotion was the second set of words he added. Being given orders ohhhhhh the orders... the remwmberabce flashes back to him of all his life was nothing but orders as he clenches his teeth and jaw looking up to the man. Wishing he had a mask to cover his disgust and sin of emotions he has for the alpha and urge to kill him. Of course the death threats would be something that would bring anyone trembling in fear yet for him it only drives him to kill, to murder, to end the one who said it. He has targets already on his mind to kill as he gives a false yet convincing nod as to understand his orders as he silently raised his arms to him as to indicate he wants his shackles freed.

Ordan
Location: Slums
Still within the Slums as they walked, Ordan couldn't tell what the human was thinking, given the fact that werewolves did not have mind control like vampires. At hearing the spoken question, he turned to the young male with a raised eyebrow and looked up at the sun. "The sun," said Ordan in answer. "A star that gives off heat, thousands...billions of times hotter than the hottest ovens on earth." Such an odd question in Ordan's mind and made him wonder just what exactly the teen had experienced in his young life. Ordan eyed him without saying anything for a while, stopping in his tracks before patting his pockets and pulling out a pager. Patting his pockets, Ordan huffed to himself at not finding the key the auctioneer should have given him. Becoming annoyed, not with the boy but with the auctioneer, Ordan reached out to remove the shackles himself. However, on contact with the metal he yanked his hand back suddenly, shaking his hand out as burned flesh reached his nose.

Sighing, well that was a good reason to go the hospital now, he'd need his friend to tend to his injury, Ordan stared daggers at the shackles. His palms became red from silver burning the skin before grabbing them again and using the wolf strength they were given upon being bitten to rip the chain in half, dropping it to the street and then doing the same with the chain connecting the ankle shackles. His hand stung, yet he found the key buried in a back pocket and pulled it out, unlocking each cuff and letting them fall to the ground afterwards before pocketing the key once more.

Looking at the burnt flesh irfan has on his hands he internally feels pleased inside as he keeps an emotionless face upon he outside. Looking at his master he takes the pager and keeps it on him and then mentions as he is distracted pickpocketing and going to his car with his burnt hands " I'll meet ya with the omega, it won't be too far I know a few shortcuts~"

Without a hesitation he rushed across the street as a bus was going straight for the human as his light feet was slightly faster as he made it to a dark alleyway and the bus covering his tracks visually. He picked up the pager and threw it into the garbage trash while running as fast as he can away from the werewolf , only going deeper and deeper into the slums until he was unable to be found . From there he found a undercover cantina and wandered in where there are bounty hunters and mercenaries all about showing off their gadgets and such as he walks up past the distracted bartender and into the kitchen and grabs a butcher cleaver as he pockets it . Keeping it for later use as he walks out of the kitchen while everyone else was super busy and distracted from the customers. From there he takes a seat next to the bathroom as he waits .. and waits.. and waits until the first bounty hunter walks in it. Eventually as about fifteen minutes pass by he watched a bounty hunter goes to the bathroom as he follows in . Following to the bathroom stall before decapitating the man from behind , the helmet flying clean off. The guy needed armor and a gun and now he got it , taking identity he wears the armor of the dead man and cleans the blood off atvthe subk quickly before walking away from the cantina as he decides to inspect his weapons . Two dual wield silver pistols are his only guns with a few clips of ammo so he has to go to a different place to sell his business and quick before they will notice it really isn't him

Upon getting the cuffs off, the slave said he would meet them at the hospital before taking off at a run past Ordan with the pager in his hand. Ordan stared in shock for a moment before spinning and grabbing his bags, made his way through the streets after the human. "Son of a bitch," Ordan growled and mentally contacted Jaewha. "Possibly late to the hospital," he spoke to the omega mentally before making his way after the human, losing sight of him as a bus passed between them. When it ended, there was no sign of where the human had gone. Snarling, he looked both ways and headed across the street, pulling out his phone and dialing the pager he had given the human, following the noise into a dark alleyway and finding the pager in a dumpster with no sign of the human and no tracks. Snagging up his pager and shaking it off, he put it back in his pocket before shutting his phone off and pocketing that as well.

Mentally sighing, he did chuckle to himself. That check he had written was a bad check and wouldn't cash. Now...where would the little rat be if he was trying to hide? Ordan tsked to himself as he made his way through the various allies, unable to pick up the human's scent since it was unfamiliar to him. Pity...once he had found a cure for his pack and they were human again he would have released the human from his servitude. Well...the human might get his wish...his freedom in the end of his life...unless he went back on his threat and just housed the human in the dungeons underneath for a while. Now...where would he find a human that was trying to get away from someone who had tried ending his own life? Somewhere with weapons, he thought and began wandering through the alleys and side streets until he came across somewhere that had smells of food coming from it. By the sounds of the people inside, he guessed it was some form of a eating establishment, the Custos alpha pulling out his gun and opened the cylinder before loading it and then snapping it back into place as he walked into the establishment, the smells of the various foods being prepared and cooking as well as the multitude of human scents wafting through the air. Moving away from the area, he picked up the scent of blood and made his way down the hall to a bathroom where he opened the door and saw a body on the ground, missing its head.

"Well...that's interesting."

Turning his mask visor on the darkest setting he was unrecognizable as he pocketed his pistols and hid well as he knew his master was following him , what a shame... as the master went into the cantina to investigate he made a break for it out into where they started at... the car. He noticed a lot of stuff at the car as there were guns before so he wanted to make sure there were guns still to loot off of. As the master was at the bathroom at the time scythia shot his pistol at the lock of the car plus two shots at the back of the tires. Taking a sniper rifle, a crossbow, and ammunition to last him a year on him as now he is prepared .. as it took under a minute to loot he quickly left the scene before his master would find him. Going off to the dancing crane as he was promised a reward for the slaver's head. He knew his way around the place as he put on a suppressor on both silver pistols before going backstage. In one fell swoop he fires silently at the guards in the head killing the humans instantly as if natural to him, a sense of rush given to him as he bursts into the office where the slaver was caught off guard by the sudden approaching bounty hunter. Two shots to the hearts weakened the vampire but didn't kill the individual as he pulls out a wooden stake to lunge at him over the desk, knocking the vampire over by enem more surprise as he drives the stake deep into his heart, killing his target as upon his last dying breaths he lowered his visor to let the vampire see who killed. Him .. his own slave ...the irony ....

Witnessing his master die brought adrenaline to the young lad as he gets up quickly to dim his visor and rush out the back exit, using the complex slum alleyways to his advantage , in a few hours the newspapers will flood the streets of the vampire owner dead.. but this is just the beginning...

A vibration came from his pocket as he pats the area of vibration to pull out a cellphone. A cellphone from the body he killed before but he was reluctant to answer so he opened it up to see it was a text message:

" i know who you are, what you did to Charlie and the owner of the Swooping crane, and everything about your situation. 50,000 has been transferred to your bank account for the hit on that owner since Charlie didn't have the balls to do it. You might be of use on the other hand, there is a black market armor store and say that X brought you here, he will change up your armor to make you not suspicious, don't bother finding me and see me as a friend..

From X,"

His eyes grew wide at the confrontation and his smile formed out of instinct. He couldn't help it but thought that the life of a bounty's hunter was good, especially with a helpful 'friend' for now in the city funding his endeavors of his revenge for those that threatened and mistreated him. Walking down the street he went through the backdoor to see guns pointing at him as he store owner asks " what do you want ? Were busy here!" Which came the response that X sent him here and everyone lowered their weapons with a sigh. The owner somehow seemed to know X so they did as they asked, giving him ballistics, metal armor , and a new paint job to give him the look of a new hitman on the street.

Switching his gun to his left hand, Ordan walked to the sink and turned on the cold water, putting his hand underneath it to stave off the burning sensation. Shaking his hand out, he set the revolver on the sink and turned to the decapitated bounty hunter, rifling through the man’s pockets. Pulling out a couple packs of chewing gum and some money, he pocketed everything and then tore off the man’s shirt, wrapping the strips he made around his hand and heading back out. The place was still busy and he walked out without notice from the cooks and crowds. Keeping an ear out for any more info on that attack that had drawn him to the auction house, he began making his way back there. Best thing to do is retrace your steps and stay outta sight of enemy fire.

He didn’t garner much info about that but did pick up snatches of other conversations. Switching his gun again to his right hand, Ordan made his way back to where the boy had escaped, tapping a foot against the pavement. He now had two options here, the man thinking it over. Go to The Dancing Crane or visit the auction house. If he wanted to track that human down he needed something of the human’s with its scent on it. Well there was a third option but he was somewhat reluctant to use it.

The alpha increased his walk to a run as he moved through the streets, slowing to a stop between the auction house and the brothel known as The Dancing Crane. Tapping his fingers against his hip, he turned and walked into the auction house where he began walking through the halls, looking for the office where the safe should be. The strange teen caught between childhood and adulthood would be bound to show up here and Ordan sighed as he listened to the otherwise silence of the place, switching to one of the werewolf abilities, grimacing as his eyes began burning and faded to milky white, replacing even his iris and pupil with that same color. It was a consequence of using this ability but it let him move easier as soon things became different colors. Sniffing the air, he caught scent of the auctioneer and began moving in that direction, soon encountering the man in his office and counting the money he’d earned, the Custos alpha ignoring the glance as he walked towards the safe that he glimpsed behind a crooked painting.

As the man strapped on his new armor and helmet as a protective Add on he was strapped together as well a jet pack Incase of dire situations. Discarding the crossbow he takes his sniper rifle and reloads to make sure it is fully operational. The sniper was a Russian Svt, capable of killing with a few shots as the rounds are laced with juniper, perfect anti vampire round.

He starts to think more and more about the room that the auctioneer is considering to be located at. He starts to mentally think about the building inside his head on a 3 D field of view. Considering the auction is over and all money is collected the auctioneer would be counting the cash he has as that takes the possibilities down to only one room... the office... in the office there is only one room as the glass exposed the painting that was crooked and nothing much else. Following that plan he used his jet pack to get ontop of a building to lay in wait. As he aims focused at the painting. Missing this opportunity could be fatal. Upon watching him finally expose himself to going to the painting to open his safe scythia unloads a full 10 sniper rounds at the man in the back as two pierced his heart. Watching the auctioneer fall dead he felt it was a successful mission and dropped the gun to run away and make his escape. Parkore from building to building roof he runs as fast as he can away from the scene. Eventually he found a staircase to walk down as he made it to the streets, running as fast as he could to the hospital

Ordan
Location: Auction House to Slums
Ordan completely ignored the first couple shots, they weren't aimed at him after all, but he did look in time to see a figure on the roof and then shooting another bullet into the auctioneer. Ordan only knew this as he turned to see the man slump over his desk and glanced up to see the figure running away, the yellowish-orange light of a living person being replaced by the black of the auctioneer. "Well, that takes care of one problem. I'll be taking this thank you," he said to the dead body as he grabbed his check and wadded it up before popping it in his mouth and shredding the evidence of the fake purchase of the boy. Pouring himself another glass of wine, the alpha sipped it as he removed the money from the human and stuffed it into his pockets before working on the safe, finally cracking it after a few minutes and pulling out several bills that he just dropped into his bags. Once he had cleaned out the safe and gone through the rest of the auction house, giving one of the slaves who hadn't been purchased money for a ticket on the train back home to Oregon, the alpha left and headed out again into the slums. He wasn't concerned about the death of the auctioneer, there would be another to take his place soon enough, possibly within the week.

Ordan rubbed at his eyes with his uninjured hand and headed this time to the hospital. Making his way through the slums to the hospital took a bit of time for the alpha but he soon spotted the running figure that smelled a bit of the human he'd purchased with money that wasn't there as he usually did when buying people. Going on that scent and the exposure of the human fleeing in the streets, still in the slums for now, he took aim and fired off two shots towards the human's ankles which would slow it down considerably, the shots scattering the people in the slums right now as he ran towards the, potentially fallen human, keeping his gun level on them. Ordan fired another shot off, not particularly caring if this one hit or not, he could just as easily cause damage to one's hearing by firing the gun off near one's ear and make them temporarily deaf. Ordan wasn't landing kill shots on purpose, he was more interested in slowing the human down for the time being and seeing if it was in fact the slave that had ran off.

As Ordan drew closer the scent was becoming strong. "You never let me finish my words before you ran off and decided to start killing people," said Ordan as he reached the human, purposely stepping down on the human's ankle as he reached him, assuming it was down enough and if not, the alpha would just kick the boy's legs out from under him and then step down on his ankle. "Are you going to listen or are you going to make have to kill you? I'd much prefer the first option to the second."

Of all the people Jaehwa expected to approach him, a vampire was not one of them. He could tell from the scent alone that’s what this man was; he had smelled a similar fragrance on the trio from Lichen that he’d met earlier. It wasn’t necessarily a bad odor, but it wasn’t anything he was used to. Then again, there were a lot of smells he was noticing now that hadn’t bothered him before.

“Ah, no, it’s not for a family gathering,” the omega clarified, offering a small but warm smile. Friendliness was second nature to him. If this vampire was only after a pleasant conversation, that was what he’d give. “I’m just thinking long-term. It’s not often that I come downtown, so I figured I should grab as much as I could while I’m here… Well, that and I shopped while hungry. Probably a bad idea, huh?”

Eyes analyzing the other male’s form, Jaehwa found himself wondering if this vampire was pureblood or not. Was there even a way to tell that from looks and scents alone? Then again, he’d come off as weird if he continued to sniff the air while staring, and that was the last thing he wanted. Biting his bottom lip, he returned his gaze to the contents of his cart.

It was then that Jaehwa heard Ordan’s voice through the connection. He’d be late to the hospital? That meant something was going on. Was the alpha injured? In trouble? Worried, Jaehwa sent back a mental message. “Are you alright?” There were multiple more questions he wanted to ask, but he settled for one.

Audrey
Location: Ithawell General, Maternity Ward
Audrey swung her legs against the medical bed as she let the doctor take her blood pressure and then gave her a dressing gown that she was told to change into. The teenager sighed but nodded as the doctor left and began to remove the dress and gloves she wore as well as the hat, setting the heat and gloves on a chair and then changing into the dressing gown. Folding the dress up when he had removed herself of her outer clothing, she set it on the chair as well before getting up on the bed and sitting there, swinging her legs once more as she waited for her doctor to come back in. Idly she wondered if the Boreal alpha would ever show up again or if she should have to become a rogue once more, something she didn't want with expecting a child.

Ordan
Location: Slums
Ordan stepped back as one bullet missed and the third hit...now where was this technology when I was in the army? A jetpack.... Ordan stared at the object, even as he stumbled back from the explosion that sounded moments later, sending those few people in the slums to scatter to avoid being hit by shrapnel. The alpha shielded his eyes with his good arm to protect them from the explosion as he fell back on the ground, Jaehwa's voice echoing in his head moments later and expressing concern through the mental bond. "Currently pursuing a human that killed one of the auctioneers and have a burned hand from some silver chains used to shackle a human I bought...frankly glad the fool is dead. Intercepted the human, not sure if it will stay down with being shot at."

Running away for a marathon on the way to he hospital was one thing in his life that he hated but being chased and shot at was an entirely different thing. One of the bullets hit his ankle as he limps to turn backwards pulling out both of his silver bullet pistols ( Deagles) and unloaded 20 rounds at the werewolf. Every shot aimed at his body but not anywhere in particular as he has trouble focusing as his movement is limited alright. Biting down his teeth to try to not express the pain as smoke starts to form from the freshly fired bullets. He needed to reload.

Quick wth his hand he reaches to reload his first deagle and gets reloaded as when he reaches for the second he hears a chink and next a screee sound of the pressure of the jet pack being released as he mutters " oh god !" Before a loud explosion blows away the back armor that he has and almost all of it as the fires start to burn through the ballistic vest and helmet . Getting up with his helmet melting he quickly takes off all of his armor as he is now back to square one. A t shirt and jeans as he twirls to the other end of a car he was blasted to , using it for protection against the werewolf bullets. The second pistol he had melted away from the explosion as well as his ammo . He has only his one pistol remaining and his last clip. " your situation is hopeless! Why waste your time after a slave!! Don't you have better things to do!" He shouts at Ordan as he turns around the corner and fires nine bullets at the wolf with the best accuracy he could manage . Only one bullet left as he turns back to the safety of behind the car and sits in the end. His fight is hopeless but he won't die like he was born . He will die a freeman . Pointing his gun to his head he tries to pull the trigger. Tears broke down his eyes and run down his cheeks as he didn't want to die like this but saw no other better option for him. He knew the hell of slavery and doesent want to live a second more of that hell..

Tyress
Tyress remembered he had to get nails from the hardware store, and took a little detour from his way to the stalls. When he was going back, he saw the same car belonging to that person from the vampire attack scene, along with some squad cars, parked outside the hospital. Curious, he decided to stall a little and watch, and crossed the street and looked from the shadows. Manginus will just have to wait a little longer he thought, referring to the husky. As he waited, he heard what seemed like multiple gunshots in the distance.
A little while afterwards, he saw a man get down from a motor bike and stab the wheels of the sqaud cars, and drove off before he could do anything.

Isabella
Isabella walked briskly to the figure in the motorcycle suit. She wore a flowing black trench coat, with a black dress underneath and black heels. She took off he shades and put them in the pocket of her coat. The figure also took off his motorcycle helmet. "Jason," she acknowledged the figure. "The fledgling is upstairs?"
Jason nodded,"Yes, but I didn't follow her after she went inside.
"Good. You've done well tailing her these few days, while keeping your distance. I was worried you would have gone against orders when she killed that man downtown. But you did good." she spoke in a silky, velvety voice, while still hinting authority. She looked towards the lift and as she walk back she said,"Stay here until further commands." and went into the lift.

She went to the receptionist and inquired for a Audrey Garner. Following the recpetionist's directions, she went to the maternity floor and knocked on the door where Audery was, and entered without hesitation. "Excuse me Doctor, I'm afraid Audrey is needed urgently." she said, smiling a smile somehow both authoritative and comfortable in the same time. Although at first the starlted doctor and patient stared at her with disbelief, Audrey got up after a pause. "I am so sorry I had to take her so abrublty,"
She said in a genuinely sorry voice, and wisked Audrey out of the room. Peeking out of the window, she saw the cops had already arrived. Mentally scowling, she held Audrey frimly by her upper arm and led her to the lift, and quickly entered the lift when the doors opened and punched the button the parking floor. Just as the doors were about to close, she saw some cops come up fro the stairs, luckily not looking at their direction.
"You've been quite some trouble, haven't you, darling? Seems like both the humans and Order are looking for you." She said in the same velvet, but somehow still dangerous voice. As soon as she came down to the parking lot she went to her black SUV and opened the passenger door with a "Inside, quick. No time to waste." and closed the door after Audrey got in.
Isabella walked to her beta and gave him orders to slow down the cars and dissappear, and wait for further instructions , to which he nodded, and then got in herself and drove out of the parking space.
Jason got on his bike and rode to the cars parked outside. Quickly bending down, he took out a sharp little dagger and stabbed the back wheel of each squad car, and drove away on the bike soon afterwards.

Continue his observations of the dark haired male, he was in the process of trying to figure out the pack the wolf might be apart of when he spoke, he couldn’t exactly give the canine a specific accent, he was quite soft spoken and friendly which was nice compared to some of all the species. The warm smile he adorned reminded Larkin of an old acquaintance, just as any kind act did he supposed, but when it came from other supernaturals he couldn’t fight off the urge to compare them for a second at times.

I see, it is a good thing I suppose, never know what you’ll need while cooking to fill bellies,” he concluded, a smile beginning to grace his jaw. The vampire was straight backed, posture good while his chest remained still not finding a reason to make it move while speaking with another less than oblivious creature. Having to force his chest up and down was tiring, needless to say useless as well, only when trying to blend in did he really ‘breathe’ like the more mundane folk.

Though, my experience with shopping while hungry is quite different—I do understand that it is not the wisest option,” he mused carefully, and slightly teasingly. He wondered if hunger was the same thing for the two races, the thought had never crossed his mind in all his years, he always supposed when a being was hungry they’d feel the same pain that he had when starving himself in the wars when a fellow squad member got too close. It wasn’t surprising that even purebloods felt the starve or hunger. Larkin however shook that clear, pocketing it somewhere else to recall at another time and to focus on the conversation he was being graced with.

Larkin observed the werewolf, sharp blue eyes noting the hesitant fixation on the cart. Realizing he might be overstepping, Larkin relaxed his shoulders and slouched—it gave him a more casual appearance and made him seem a little shorter than he really was by half an inch or so. “Everything alright? You seem a bit distraught, I’m not keeping you am I?” he wondered aloud. The golden haired beast was careful with his eyes tracing over the subtle difference in the other’s facial expression.

Ordan
Location: Slums
Ordan had let his guard down as he lowered his gun at the third shot. The explosion seemed to obscure his words as he picked himself up, ears ringing at the explosion that echoed in his ears. Shaking his head at the noise that echoed through the streets, the Custos alpha shook his head violently to try to get the ringing out of his ears. Opening his eyes which had shut instinctively at the explosion, the older male slowly opened them to reveal the human still in front of him and now there being no armor on his back. It left the human exposed but moments later with the explosion earned a curse from the human as the jet pack burst and fire spread, blowing a car door off the hinges in the explosion and also serving to begin melting through the helmet which was quickly taken off as well as well as the rest of the armor so the human wouldn't burn. Well at least it had some sense to get out of danger. Not a lot though as he turned, favoring his injured ankle and pointed two guns which had been drawn sometime during the explosion or shortly after when Ordan was trying to get his senses back in place which he found pointed at him.

Hitting the jetpack had not been Ordan's intentions when he had fired randomly. A rookie mistake that likely would have gotten him kicked out of the army at one point, more in tune with a hotheaded young recruit to the military who they were the hottest thing there. Until they got a rude awakening by the repeated breaking one down physically and emotionally before building one up again. Ordan lifted his head and purposely hit at his ears to get the ringing out when several bullets fired in his direction. For some moments Ordan stood there, shocked that he was being shot at and then biting down on his lip when, as the bullets entered his body and tore through his clothing, began burning. Silver...just lovely, a slave that knew how to use silver against the supernatural. Hissing between his teeth, Ordan staggered back, falling momentarily to one knee as one of the bullets hit his leg and made him fall to the ground as the burning sensation from multiple bullets hitting him. The bullets would slow him down unfortunately as the silver burned his skin where it hit. "Fuck," Ordan swore as he looked at the human as Scythia ran towards the car door and hid behind it, the alpha getting pissed and raising his gun before firing off another couple of shots that hit the car and dented the metal.

The slave had apparently hidden behind the car he had been blasted back to with the explosion. His hearing was coming back as the human shouted ran away around a corner and shouted at him, firing off another nine shots afterwards at him, now down to one pistol. "Your situation is hopeless! Why waste your time after a slave!! Don't you have better things to do!" Ordan threw his arms up to protect himself from the nine bullets that came towards him, a few going past him and hitting the street and buildings behind him but didn't escape that onslaught either. Dripping blood from multiple wounds and having to deal with the burning silver in his body, the alpha staggered to his feet as as the teen put the gun to his head. Ordan bit back a snarl and ran towards the human, putting his foot on the human's back as he bent down and wrenched the gun out of the slave's grasp, pointing his gun at the ground away from him and pulling the trigger, emptying the barrel before tossing it away.

Ordan was breathing hard as he removed any lingering weapons from the human and flipped the safety on his gun, slipping it back onto his person as he stood there, panting from not only the wounds but the chase. "If you had bothered to listen at all, I would have explained further about your life from here on out," Ordan snarled, his wolf intentionally coming through. "For now I'm taking us both to the hospital and we will get your ankle fixed as well as these blasted bullets out of me." He hauled the younger male to his feet and headed back to collect his bags he'd dropped, shoving things into them that had spilled out with his foot before hefting them up.

Audrey
Location: Ithawell General, Maternity Ward to Parking Garage
Audrey's ultrasound hadn't even started yet, the doctor and nurse coming back in with the ultrasound machine shortly after. The girl had been told to lie down and that the gel might feel cold but they would be checking the number of fetuses, their growth and if there was anything to be concerned about. Much to her surprise though, the door opened and the Boreal alpha stepped into the exam room without knocking and spoke, saying she needed to take Audrey immediately and was sorry for the inconvenience. The girl just stared in shock at the woman before her. Where the hell had the alpha been all this time that had forced Audrey to go to town instead and stay there? Well she could have stayed in the castle she supposed but hunger and boredom had driven her out to go looking for food.

Dr. Seltat looked at her patient before nodding and giving Audrey her clothing back, the girl not even having time to change as she was grabbed by her arm and led out of the examination room and down the hallway towards an elevator, the teen's mind reeling with the shock that came with the unexpected arrival of someone who had just up and disappeared for a couple weeks. The girl just changed as in the elevator since it was a ways down already, Isabella getting a blank look at the alpha's words. "Humans and the Order are looking for you." What order exactly she wanted to ask, not having any clue what the girl was talking about. But Isabella already seemed annoyed and angry, the girl easily picking up the deadly tone in the older woman's voice and then she was ushered towards a vehicle within the parking garage and forced inside before they drove off, not even noticing the man near the motorcycle. The teen rubbed at her arm which was already bruising at the grip with a gloved hand, not saying much. She didn't have much at the hotel and if the alpha was back then her stuff had probably been picked up anyway. It wasn't like she knew much of pack life or how it worked, she had been a human up until several months ago and a rogue before joining Boreal. Pack life was something Audrey was still getting used to as well as her vampire tendencies and the craving for blood and violence that was only intensified by her pregnancy on top of being a fledgling at that, the hunger would always be there until she became a blooded. "What order?" she questioned at last. Where have you been all this time that leaves your pack destitute and wandering around like lost ducklings?

Jaehwa
Shaded Shaded

It was safe to say that Jaehwa was enjoying the blond’s presence. Much unlike the threatening nature of the other vampires he’d met, this one was more laid back, a proper yet friendly essence to him that was oddly appealing. Sure, the wolf knew he was the kind of person to relax too quickly, and although that tacked him up as being gullible, he couldn’t help but see the best in others. Or, rather, believe in the best of them.

He waited briefly for Ordan’s response, refocusing on the other male. “No no, it’s nothing like that, just…” Jaehwa didn’t know if he should mention anything. He felt the urge to—an undeniable truth—but was that okay? Allowed? He wasn't comfortable with telling the truth, but he also didn’t want to make the vampire out to seem like a burden in any way.

All too suddenly came the sound of his alpha’s voice and Jaehwa tensed as he listened to the message. His mind hyper-focused on one word: shot. Ordan was getting himself into a mess. “I swear, he tells me not to find trouble and then goes off and—!” His growl mellowed down when he remembered he was in public. He flushed, embarrassed, his eyes drifting from the few humans nearby (who continued to cluelessly go about their business) to the vampire. He swallowed. There were no suitable excuses for this now, were there?

“I-I'm sorry, uh, there’s…” Jaehwa looked down and scuffed his foot against the ground, words eluding him. He sighed, grip tightening around the cart's handlebar. What a brilliant first impression. Good job. You totally don't look insane or bipolar.

Being taken away from death he hisses and cries as he is taken away from the only option he had left and now is left to the mercy of the wolf as he covers his hand over his face to hide further embarrassment and shame to himself as tears run down his face. He couldn't help it . Shivers and shakes of fear traveling down his body before the alpha werewolf as he has been bested, defeated , he thought he was smart and going to win but it's all pointless now... he is just a Slave, injured and defeated . Looking up at Ordan he saw the bullet marks he made as he can see some of the holes that didn't go deep so he buries his fingers into the wound and like grapes plucks the bullets out of his body for about a few shots but there are deeper ones and he doesent know how to heal damaged skin. Being picked up by the alpha he wraps his arms around as he tries to cling onto him as best he can. Shivering still and holding back his second wave of sad emotions the best he can he squeezes hi eyes shut as he I being carried with blood dripping down his ankle

" you should have ended me.." he says to his master while bearing the pain and starting to get a bit woozy, he doesent feel fit to fight at all but his mental states don't really change from the original wild side of him at least as he is forced to give that wide grin smile from the confrontation with the alpha. He is split of being shamed of himself and depressed. Ashamed that he didn't do enough, didn't pull he trigger fast enough, didn't kill and escape properly. He on the other hand was depresssed from his greatest fears of being captured and the mere thought of being sold back into slavery would make him ball into tears from his entire life of mental torture and emotional deprivation as he never had any family to support him . His entire life it was only him and him alone.

Watching carefully as the wolf danced around his words briefly, he seemed at a loss to really explain himself which left Larkin patiently waiting for the other male to gather his words. Having dealt with many of the younger generation he found tons of people lost for words when trying to describe something personal, business related, or something about someone they know well. Larkin figured people easily talked about strangers, people they don’t like, or something that was irritating to them—with the social experiments he had been through just the same as numerous other creatures put themselves through. He found it amusing how people at a loss for words sparked that same thought, he could recall most of the mannerisms of shy people and this wolf wouldn’t be considered shy.

Ah, I see, you have to look after someone. Don’t let me stop you by all means,” he concluded after hearing the other male’s muttering about someone getting into trouble. He had kept quiet after the low growl that had corsed from the wolf which had by far thrown Larkin off guard. However he looked far into the growl more so than pass it off like he normally would. Looking further into the growl itself and the suddenness he’d have to conclude that what upset him was a surprise as well as a very aggravating thing to have gotten his attention disregarded.

No worries—I have had similar experiences, children can be a tough thing to take care of. Even after they are adults—“ he remarked teasingly, he made a jest at his own experience remembering when his daughter had a better time helping take care of his son when he wanted to go to school. Larkin had to ask his daughter to help show him the best part of not going to school, which wasn’t grasped by the small eight year old until later on.

I’m Larkin, Larkin Andley—“ he stuck out his hand, commonly when he was first getting used to the wolves and mitts of the world he’d be quite a bit scared of touching or going near one. He obviously changed since he no longer feared randomly being bitten like his mother used to preach to the manor, always going on about how dangerous they were. Now he always took the chance to reach out when he found a friendly wolf who’d accept a mundane action as a handshake. “Pleasure meeting you,” he informed, his grin widening to a friendly grin, though with that last bit he seemed to pick up a southern accent something he quickly cleared his throat to get rid of.

Ordan
Location: Slums to Ithawell General
He watched as the human began crying at the fate that awaited him before the human seemed to notice the injuries he had made on the the alpha. Ordan snarled slightly as the human dug his fingers into some of his wounds and plucked out a few bullets that hadn't gone deep into his body, dropping them on the ground. Hissing in annoyance of fingers sliding into his skin enough to grasp the bullets, clinking on the ground as they were removed, Ordan grunted a thanks before picking the human up since he couldn't very well walk. For his part, the wolf remained rather still when the few bullets were taken out of his body. "Once I find a cure for my pack and myself...once we're human again, will be set free and may do as you wish from therein after," said Ordan. "I'm not like those leeches and mutts...I certainly won't turn you into a monster like I and my omega are, ruining your life even further."

Yet the human spoke on the way, saying he should have ended the human's life. "There are worse things than death," said Ordan. His training in the army and his tours of duty made the military strong. Plus the teen was light and wasn't much of an issue to carry even with his wounds but even so he likely wouldn't have had any issues carrying Scythia minus his limping from the wounds he had in him. Ordan made his way through the slums and towards the hospital, the alpha pausing as he saw the cop cars there. The alpha made his way from the parking lot into the parking garage instead, making his way through the streets and keeping his eyes peeled for any rogues who might be in the area or of any of those Boreal pack members...though they couldn't drink wolf blood, they could be attracted by the human's blood and Ordan was not in the mind to be dealing with hungry vampires. Luckily for them, they didn't run into anything and the alpha walked into an elevator before setting the human and closing the doors. Pulling out his phone, he searched through his contact list which was short, and sent a text message.

Zumitri
me
Zumitri, you on duty today?
them
Ordan? Yeah...problem?
me
I ran into some trouble.
them
...Come on up. Surgery?
me
Yup

Ordan turned the phone off and pocketed it before pushing the number 3 for the third floor, sending a mental message to Jaehwa. "Take the parking garage floor elevator up to the third floor. Ask for Dr. Uldoza. Blood Order is apparently about investigating some killing before we got here." The alpha closed his eyes as he let the elevator take them up three flights before being met at the elevator by his friend who stared at Scythia and then at Ordan. Not asking any questions, he took Ordan's bags as Ordan picked up the human and headed towards one of the open exam rooms before opening it. Ordan walked to the bed and set the human down on it before collapsing in a chair. "My omega may show up here."

"Noted Ordan. What the hell happened to you?" Zumitri asked as soon as he'd shut the door.

"Can you fix him here or do we need an operating room?"

"I scheduled one," said Zumitri.

"Take him down to surgery and fix his ankle and any other injuries."

"Hell with that...I'll take you both down but you'll end up dripping blood everywhere. Besides, an operating room isn't yet available. It'll be available in like fifteen minutes." He looked to Scythia and then to Ordan, pushing his hair out of his eyes.

"Magus was bidding on him and already got two."

"What is it with you two?"

"He's an ass and owes me."

Zumitri shook his head, not even bothering to ask before grabbing some gauze and some disinfect to clean the wound, heading over to the boy. "I'm Doctor Uldoza and I'm going to be your doctor from here on out." He looked at Ordan. "He really should have a physical examination."

"Do whatever's necessary."

As soon as he was picked up from the ground he clings onto Ordan as tight as possible at first, keeping his guard up reguardless of how protected he might be . Blood leaking from his ankle made him feel woozy at times as he rests his head on Ordan's shoulder , murmuring in guilt without trying to be shameful " I'm sorry for trying to kill you and all... I just wanted to be free for once in my life..." another tear rolls down as his gut cringes as he tries to hold back his emotions breaking as whines and whimpers break past his closed lips while trying not to look at his master while he did so. Upon being around the hospital before enterance he fell asleep soundly as that can be considered good but also only another stage closer to death, blood leaking down his ankle as his skin starts to turn pale flashbacks of his memories were being projected in his mind as for most of the time his muscles remained tense and in guard as other times are twitching such as the beatings he received and dangerous conditions. Once in the elevator his dreams continue to flashback as he murmurs random stuff but one word was clear that he said to Ordan while asleep " Father.." he murmurs as by the time they reached the third floor and opened the room to the doctor he immediately feels a shock through his body and then awakens with his eyes opened wide and laid into the medical bed but he didn't simply lay there, his mind and body was in a state of panic as he curls up and looks around to see Ordan on a chair and a random man in a white lab coat " what is this place , who are you ? :.." he continues on and on as he was silenced by the conversation ordan and the Doctor was having. "Who is Magus? What is a doctor? What the hell is surgery ?!?!?" His heart rate rapidly increases more and more in this foreign environment he never experienced before as he backs away to the end of the lab table witnessing the doctor grab disinfectant and gauze as those items seems unknown to him as everything starts to get confusing to him. His natural instincts kick in as he goes into a stationary defensive stance , his pupils dialated and adrenaline starting to coarse through his veins.
