The University
The school was a regular school up until about 10 years ago when it first implemented its Hero program at a university level, which extended upon high school level programs giving hero students more training for drastic situations that would be considered outside of the scope of the high school level programs, more field training, more active internships, while also going over the basics and improving upon their current qualities, as well as giving those who showed enough promise to get into hero school a chance to become a hero if they were unable to make it into the high school level programs on their own. The university itself sits on the edge of the Great Lake Ontario in the New York State. The University is large in the fact that it has 1 main building for class rooms and laboratories for sciences (Physics, Chem, Bio) and mathematics as well as a few other major courses, it has connected buildings for Education, Medicine, Engineering, bio technology, arts, music, computer services, Earth Sciences and Studies, Business and more, and it also has its own library, gym/ field house, and pool. The hero courses have their own set of Buildings.

The Hero Program
Recently the school has acquired the permission of the government (or at least the part of the government that handles heroes) to begin the Lakewood Organisation, a hero organisation that uses the students as heroes while their education proceeds, basically an ongoing hero internship that allows them to learn and train better while they do so. Basically the structure would be that heroes in the program would all be a part of the Lakewood Organisation but because of set conditions they must meet a certain standard before being able to do hero work in the organisation, meaning there will be some who are authorized to go out and do the work (all our main characters) and some who aren't (essentially reserves in the class if anyone joins after the role play starts). The authorization is based on Academics, Conduct, Accomplishments, and Activity meaning if the student has good grades, appropriate conduct, has shown many accomplishments in training and is willing to participate they can get authorized but they might lose authorization if they lack on activity or Accomplishments, their grades start to slip or they show inappropriate conduct while conducting work. (Note: As explained by the brackets this is mainly for role play purposes, any player character will have authorization and it will let us add people in as we go so that its an easier transition, it also gives us a bit of a competition as students will generally want to retain their authorization which is again for role play purposes only).

The Hero course building itself consists of 8 Major buildings, the main building where classes take place for hero studies, hero management, and the work shops for hero gear are, and then there are training grounds A through G which all serve independent functions. A-C Serve as field class rooms for students in year 1-3 respectively and are equipped with training technology, D Serves as a rescue scenario building, E Serves as a competition room with minimal technology set ups, F and G are specialized areas F representing a industrial area G representing a more Residential/ commercial area for mock Hero missions. Each While A-D are mainly all built inside F and G are more open atmosphere buildings.

Lakewood Town
Lakewood State University is also surrounded by a small city, which has everything that a regular city would have and is ever expanding. It has a residential area that act as living accommodations for the students going to school at Lakewood and for the teachers and other residents of the city as well. The town also has Several large buildings, fire stations, fast food places, its own police force, and a few hero organisations that help to protect the residents of the town and the city surrounding it. The city has its own shopping mall as well where students can go to buy new clothing and buy all of their needs outside of school. Like any other city it has a bunch of crime and while no criminal would dare attack the university itself because of all the measures put in place to protect it, plus the fact that many hero students are training there, they do still tend to cause trouble all around the city.

Legend:
1. Is your mall/ skyscraper locations, its essentially the heart of the city, you can find many hero agencies here, restaurants, businesses, ect.
2. Is the down town area, basically has a few shops, many clubs and pubs, a waterfront dock, and many fine dining restaurants
3. Is the market district where you can find your large stores like Walmart and best buy, as well as grocery stores and many outlet shops.
4. Is the middle class/ upper class living area
5. Is essentially the lower class and partial middle class living area
6. Is the main ship yard, we are on the lake so there is a ship yard and industrial area.
7. Is the main area where students live, it includes dorms, housing, some local convenience, ect. Many of the dorms are college owned so they are made more affordable for the students, but some are privately owned by businesses, hero agencies, and rich land lords as housing for those who have the money to afford more comfortable living or if they are sponsored by these companies. The college is just a bit to the north of this area and all areas of the city are connected through 24 hour transportation systems.
