Name:Emmy Ryuji

Age: 15 (appears around 6-8 years old.)

Gender: Female

Role: Orphan Student

Parents*: Tyranoman and Ladygold Tyranoman was able to transform into dinosuars, Ladygold was made of gold. both died in a tragic accident involving lava from a lava-based supervillain.

Personality:Emmy is an interesting child. she goes from energetic to lazy in the blink of an eye. she has a need for adventure and a desire for shiny shiny things. she is easily distracted by the shinies and keeps a hoard of stuff under her bed in the orphanage. She is a firecracker that is quick-tempered, especially when people treat her like a child, if she is in a firey mood she will snap at you for petting, but if she is in a happy lazy mood she will find the nearest lap and snuggle into it.
History: Emmy Ryuji was only 3 years old when her parents where defeated by the LAVAiathan, a giant lava worm monster. ever since then she has been in the orphanage, at first she was just a normal child playing happily with her friends, but then a couple years after she got her quirk her friends that where still unadopted got bigger then her, and new kids started treating her like she was one of the preschool aged kids, and that's been her life at the orphanage ever since. several times she was almost adopted before she angrily pointed out to her possible parents that she was in middle school and was about to be going to high school to become a hero. if she could get into the school of her dreams and live in the dorm rooms atleast then there wouldn't be little kids running around for her to be compared to, and she could finally get some respect as a hero.

Quirk: Soul of the dragon

Quirk explanation: Emmys soul of the dragon quirk is pretty amazing, she can grow scales that protect from almost any sharp or penetrating attack accept the vary vary best prettymuch everywhere at will (except her tummy, that's a weakpoint for her.) she can breath fire and is immune to it. she can fly and her fingernails and teeth can grow into sharp claws and teeth. her weaknesses are her tummy can't grow scales for some reason, She can be easily distracted by shiny objects, and sometimes she gets extremely lazy. she also can't swim, water won't kill her but she is ineffective while in it, her scales are the only thing that work while she is drenched, though if she is just mildly wet the debuff to her abilities are not as severe, she will clumsily fly, her fire will not be as eruptive, and her teeth and claws will not be as sharp. Bonuses (or curses) to her power is that she ages as slowly as a real dragon, so she has essentially not aged since gaining her powers, at the vary least she has aged .0001% since she was 6 for real. she heals fairly fast, not enough for it to be considered a combative healing power though. a wound that would take a normal person a day to heal would be just as healed for her at about 4 or 5 hours. making it useful for recovery but not actual midcombat, this healing only takes effect while she is sleeping. she is fairly agile, more so then a normal human, though agility quirks would mop the floor with her agility. she can grow a tail, useful to an extent in combat, but as a dragon tail it's not really as grabby as a monkey tail, it has no dynamic movement but it is pretty blunt and she can swing it pretty fast and hard. her dragon soul also makes her senses heightened which some might think of as an advantage but it's actually a weakness, bright lights and loud noises can disorient the small girl easily.

Relationship: we can discuss this in the DM :)

Name: Marianne Jessica Toomes (MJ for short)
Age: 15
Gender: Female
Role: Orphan/Student

Parents: MJ’s parents was the Australia based hero Glitchtrap and a punk Rock drummer who went by the simple name of Mary

Appearance:
148-1482576_download-original-size-punk-rock-girl-anime.jpg

Personality: MJ often has a dour* look on her face, but that's more because when she lost her parents and because this constant expression most of the other orphans stay away from her. In actuality MJ is a pretty chill girl, taking her life one step at time. Despite being the same age as some of the kids at the Orphanage and the way she dresses she likes to act like a big sister to the younger kids there...or apparent younger kids often consoling them when they start crying about missing their family or playing her guitar to calm then down a bit. As an extension of this MJ will often only get properly angry when kids pick on her or the other kids, she can and will punch on for picking on them. When it comes to school MJ appears to be very lazy and distracted often chatting with the other students and while yes she does do that, she is surprisingly smart and when she doesn't have her own homework to do she loves to help the younger kids with their homework.

Since MJ lost her parents at a later age than a majority of the others, she pushes down the feeling of missing her parents do that it looks like she's over it and she can help the others with what they are going through. She has a surprisingly sharp tongue which mainly comes out as quips when going against villains or dishing a verbal smack down to bullies, she's also a bit of a flirt. She likes helping people, punk Rock music, playing her guitar, parkouring and the other kids at the orphanage. She absolutely loathes bullies, villians, coffee and girly outfits, although she is fine with wearing idol type clothing.

History: MJ parents didn't really like each other when they first set their eyes on each other, hey mother was part of a rock band that had been receiving threats from villains as they went on a World Tour. The manager of the band wasn't happy that the group wanted to keep going even though they had been targeted, so he hired a small group of heroes to protect the band. One of those heroes was her father unsurprisingly, as they traveled around the world, they hated each with a passion often throwing insults at each other whenever they weren't working. When they hit Japan that's when the villains attacked during the concert and at first Mary was scared that she was going to die but that fear soon dropped when Glitchtrap ran onto the stage and drop kicked the massive man, Mary then started beating her drums hard and fast for background music as he continued to fight. When he finished fighting and had the villains arrested Mary realised that, that little scuffle had changed her opinion of him, the manager was also arrested as it turns out, the manager had been sending the threats as well as hired the villains to make a mint on the groups death.

After that was dealt with Mary asked Glitchtrap out on a date and the rest is history, they got married, settled down in Japan, Mary left the band to be a solo act that played smaller gig's to have a more stable income, while Glitchtrap continued to work as a solo hero in Japan rather than Australia. Together they had a kid and life was good. Mary taught their daughter how to play a lot of different instruments from a young age and at four MJ manifested her Quirk which was a mixture of her parents quirks. Unfortunately all good things must eventually come to an end, when MJ was about ten her whole world started to crumble, first when MJ was sleeping over at a friends house, her mother was brutally murdered in her sleep by her manager who had been going around the world and killing members of the band and Mary was the first on his list. Her father struggled to keep on top of his work, his grief and being able to care for MJ, however it took a toll on his physical abilities and it finally caused him to slip up, he was brutally killed on a secret mission, so nobody knows exactly how he was killed but most suspect that it was due to a villain with some sort of earth based quirk, but it's just speculation. After a week of searching for any relatives to take her in it turns out that all of her relatives where dead, so they gave up on her, she became another statistic and was sent off to THCF since her father was a hero. Here she realized that she wasn't alone and so she decided to grow up and take care of the younger kids to start learning how to be a hero and to ease her own pain

Quirk: Glitch

Quirk explanation: Marianne's Quirk Glitch allows her to teleport short distances or "glitch" to an open space with a maximum of 10 metres away. Currently she can only glitch her whole body away. If she uses her power in quick succession her senses start to glitch on their own, her eyes becomes distorted and makes it hard for her to see, things she hears becomes very screechy and drops out for her and so on and so on for each of her senses. When she experiences intense emotional situations her whole body involuntarily glitches while she is feeling that emotion, while she can glitch through walls and other solid objects, she only does it if she knows that there is an open space for her to appear. Her glitching pauses whatever action she is performing and then moves her in any of her 10ft radius and then completes that action when she finishes the glitch, she also can’t glitch another person with her and her glitching only glitches items that she can lift even if she struggles lifting the item, however the more items she takes with her the less amount of glitches she can before the senses start glitching out

Relationship: MJ is a sort of big sister to the younger kids at the orphanage so she is usually one to step in between a fight if none of the staff is available.

Other:
  • She buttons her shirt properly when at school or when doing something fancy.
  • The only possession she has of her parents is her guitar
  • She's been meaning to get a drum kit to play
  • *relentlessly severe, stern, or gloomy in manner or appearance.

"Lifeguard's on duty."
full
Name: Lynn "Baywatch" Katsura
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Role: Student

Appearance: Lynn features resembles her American heritage more than her Japanese one. She's tall (5'11"), thin, and lightly muscle toned. She has Caucasian skin that's usually tan. She has blond hair that she likes to keep short, brown Japanese-shaped eyes, and freckles. She tends to wear sporty/athletic clothes and is rarely seen in a dress or a skirt outside of school.

Personality: Lynn may look like a valley girl, but she's not. She's a sporty tomboy that's usually pretty chill. She gives off the vibe of a confident older sister and her positive attitude makes it seem like she has her life together. While her high self-esteem helps her bounce back quickly from adversity, it also makes her good at hiding the pain she's going through. So far not much has hurt her in life. Occasionally she wonders about her father in America, but her training to be a future Pro-Hero and her life in Japan has kept her too busy to try to visit him, if he's even still alive.

Lynn thinks that she needs to be emotionally strong in order to be a good hero. She tries to be the shoulder people can lean on and also tries to make sure that everyone feels welcome. Her laid-back nature quickly goes away around bullies and womanizers; she's gentle toward the victims. She likes helping people, sports, swimming, working as a lifeguard, being outside, and 80's music. She dislikes bullies, villains, womanizers. and wearing more feminine clothes like dresses and skirts even though she's required to wear them sometimes.

History: Born Lynn Parker, Lynn is the daughter of an American Pro-Hero, SWAT, and a civilianized Japanese Pro-Hero, Lisa Katsura. Lisa was an exchange student and met Lynn's father at the hero academy she was going to. After graduating, Lisa became an American citizen and SWAT's partner. After working together for a couple years, they began to develop a romantic relationship and later got married. Lisa decided to become a regular civilian after she found out that she was pregnant with Lynn.

Happy times seemed to be on the horizon for the couple after Lynn was born, but home life ended up getting worse. SWAT became too wrapped up in his hero work and was barely around for Lisa and Lynn. SWAT would often return to the house beaten and bruised; Lisa nursed him back to health and would worry about him when he was gone. After a few years of this, Lisa felt like she wasn't getting any benefits from her marriage from SWAT. She was keeping him alive and raising his daughter by herself. No longer feeling loved, Lisa filed for divorce. Lynn was five-years-old when her mother claimed custody of her. Lisa packed their bags and they moved to Tokyo, Lisa's birthplace.

Lynn has been living in Tokyo ever since and hasn't seen her father at all since then. Lisa has remained single all of these years, making Lynn an only child.

Lynn grew up wanting to be a hero and progressed through the school system for young, aspiring heroes. She managed to get into Sakura High when she was 16 and is currently beginning her 2nd year.

Quirk: Hydro-Pump

Quirk explanation: Lynn's body holds more water than the average person. She can spray water from her body and control it. She can fire bursts of water, propel herself forward or hover by launching herself with highly pressurized water, and manipulate the water she sprays or control water already around by creating her own currents. Her quirk uses the water that is stored inside her body. Using her quirk and sweating a lot depletes her water supply. The quirk is most effective when fighting in or near the ocean or another source of water. Her body can also absorb the water from other water based quirks, but this doesn't make Lynn immune to other water quirks. She doesn't have gills. If other water sources aren't around to replenish her supply of water, Lynn has to stay hydrated by drinking lots of water. Lynn's quirk isn't well suited for a desert environment.

Relationship: Lynn has a close relationship with her mother. Since she doesn't have any siblings, she tends to act like a supportive sister around her peers, or a big sister around those that are younger than her. She's a good student (not necessarily a top-student) and has maintained a good relationship with school faculty.

Other:
  • Lisa's hero name was Water Lilly.
  • Lynn has worked part-time as a lifeguard.
  • She wears sporty shorts under her skirt for her school uniform.
  • Her hero costume resembles a lifeguard's one piece swimsuit, swim shorts, sneakers, a red visor hat, and a utility belt that holds water capsules.
  • Lynn's hero name is Baywatch.

Name: Paris Fallon
Age: 15
Gender: Female
Role: Orphan
Parents: Mighty Oak and Flower Crown, two earth based heroes and lovers who didn't associate with each other in public to keep each other safe from villains. Mighty Oak was a living tree, and whenever he activated his quirk, his legs would turn into a tree trunk and his roots would travel underground, and then jab back up to attack villains. Flower crown had the ability to grow plants from within her body and manipulate the growth speed and strength, being able to make walls and such out of plant material. When they had a child, Paris, they even ceased living together, just to keep the baby safe. Only those who researched the pair deeply knew they were together. This lasted for 3 years, until the day that Paris's quirk manifested. The two lovers visited each other that day to see the child's quirk. When Mighty Oak left, he told his wife about a secret mission he and a few other pros were being called in for in another city that night. Late that night, Flower Crown was listening to the news and heard about a massive explosion and fire in the place her husband had gone too, and Flower Crown left the toddler in the apartment alone to go save him, even though she knew the odds were bad for either one of them making it out alive. Neither of them lived. Plant based quirks do not do well in fire and this was no exception, the pair was found holding each other close, burned to a crisp. The only memory Paris has of her parents was the day her quirk manifested.
Appearance:
ae4bf6735afd2ed830235f803604be50--anime-school-girl-anime-girls.jpg

Personality: Paris is quite shy and her anxiety overcomes her sometimes. She is sweet and wants the best for everyone. She often thinks things are her fault even if she had nothing to do with them.
History: The only memory Paris has of her parents was the day her quirk manifested. Because of this, she feels guilty for their deaths, knowing that her parents wouldn't have seen each other and her mother wouldn't have learned of her father's secret mission and wouldn't have gone to save him if it hadn't been for Paris's quirk manifesting. So, Paris is insecure about her quirk, and doesn't like to use it. However, she's decided to go to hero school so that she can make up for their deaths and bring their powers to the world again. Although, Paris's two feelings for her quirk often conflict with each other.
Quirk: A fusion of her parents' quirks that she calls 'Roots and Rapid growth'.
Quirk explanation: Like her father, Paris is able to manipulate roots under the ground. The only difference is that they don't come from within her. This quirk allows the bearer to summon large, powerful tree-like Roots from under the surface. The force of being hit by one of these roots can be equal to that of being hit by a bullet train locomotive, two times powerful. The user must be within 150ft of a wood source, or the quirk will not activate. The range of the wood source can be improved through rigorous training. As the roots come from underground, and break through the surface later; it is not ideal for this quirk to be used inside of buildings.

The other part of her quirk comes from her mother, where she is able to make plants rapidly grow. Her mother could summon them from inside herself. Paris cannot, she has to either eat seeds or 'plant' them on her body, which recognizes a seed and absorbs it. The user is living mega soil. She can rapidly grow seeds by "planting" them in herself. She takes a seed and it is absorbed in her skin and she is able to rapidly grow and manipulate its growth pattern. She cannot manipulate plants that she didn't grow from herself.

Another thing she can do is a fusion of the two quirks, and is an ability to attach herself to the ground by the hands and feet, as roots (if she's near enough to a wood source) will come out of the ground and grow into her. If she's torn from these roots though, it would be immensely painful. She can do the same thing with the plants from herself, but it is not nearly as strong as wood.
Relationship: She likes the quirk counsellor, but is not always honest about her feelings toward her quirk.

Name: Dante de la Cruz

Age: 16

Gender: male

Role: Non-Orphan Student

Parents*:
Gabriel de la Cruz - Father
Quirk - Healing Factor
Bio: Gabriel always had big dreams of being a rock star. Unfortunately, his band never quite found that sound to make it big. Against All Odds still has it's share of fans, but Gabriel knew he needed a steady job once his son was born. So he went back to school to get his degree and teaching credentials so he could teach music while still chasing his dream. Although his wife's success dramatically outshines his own, he's never stopped trying.

Carmen de la Cruz (formerly de Leon) - Mother
Quirk: Water Manipulation
Bio: Although her quirk would have been useful as a Hero, Carmen had other dreams. She worked tirelessly and established herself as a world class dancer. Once Dante was born, she retired from Competition and instead teaches. Her seminars are highly sought after, and her expertise has been requested on more than one occasion for movies. Although her success stands in stark contrast to her husband, she remains one of his strongest supporters.

Appearance:

Personality: They say you never get a second chance at a first impression. Unfortunately for Dante, his first impressions usually aren't the best. His complexion and posture generally gives off a holier-than-thou vibe, but that couldn't be further from his personality.

Dante is an incorrigible goofball, much like his father. He's constantly making jokes, trying to get people to laugh, or just starting general shenanigans. He uses his appearance(and the posture he got from dancing lessons from his mom), to throw people off, just because it makes the reactions even better!

History: Thanks to his parents' career choices, Dante was exposed to music, travel, and other cultures from a young age, developing a fondness for all three.

In school, Dante was one of the first in his class to develop a quirk. Unfortunately, the rather gorey nature of his quirk led to him getting unwanted attention. In Heroes vs Villains, which was basically cops and robbers, he was always singled out to be the villain.

Well, the game escalated day by day until it was more like a game of beat the crap out of the villain. Despite complaints from Carmen, school officials waved it off as kids being kids, especially since Dante was never caught or injured. By necessity, Dante developed the ability to sling himself around by blood ropes and evade capture.

The escalation, however, still continued as other students got their more hero-like quirks. It came to a head when one finally managed to catch Dante. Rather than let himself get pummeled, he fought back and ended up putting several of his pursuers in the hospital.

Initially, school officials had wanted to go after Dante, but Carmen brought forth the numerous complaints she had raised to deter it. In the aftermath, several officials were fired, and Dante ended up changing schools.

Despite the bullying, Dante managed to adjust well to his new surroundings and thrived, thanks in no small part to his loving parents. He made many friends, and was at the top of his graduating class, earning him a recommendation for Sakura High. At this point, the incident in his childhood seems like little more than a distant memory he prefers to forget.

Quirk: Vampire

Quirk explanation: Sharp fangs, white hair, and a pale complexion stand as the primary physical features of his quirk. He is able to manipulate his blood at will, provided it's out of his body. He often uses blood weapons and constructs to fight or maneuver. Of course this also means his own quirk can leave him unconscious or worse due to blood loss, even if his body produces more than usual. Like his father, he has something of a healing factor, but it's only triggered by absorbing/drinking blood, and isn't nearly as fast or effective. (His father once had a pyrotechnics on stage that created a massive fireball and was completely healed before they started the next song. His clothes, on the other hand, had to be replaced. Reviews of that show called it "The most Lit show of the year".)

To use his quirk, he wears rings on each thumb with hidden blades to slice his palms, forearms, or wherever else it's needed.

When he absorbs blood other than his own, it is immediately altered to match his own. Conveniently, this prevents him from contracting blood borne diseases/poisons through his quirk.

Relationships: Dante has a very good relationship with his parents. They taught him music and dance from a young age, teaching him several styles of dance plus a few instruments.

In terms of other students, well, that remains to be seen.

Other: Dante always wears rings with hidden blades on his thumbs in case he needs to use his quirk.

Instruments he's familiar with are guitar, piano, and violin.

Name:
Leona Wright
Age:
15
Gender:
Female
Role:
Orphan
Parents:
Her parents were both American Pro-Heros who lost their lives when she was 2. Her mother was Diana Wright, The Woman of Steel. She could manipulate metal, primarily iron and steel, and use it as armor in some cases. Her father, Maxwell Wright, was the Pro-Hero Tidal Wave. He could manipulate water with the power of the ocean itself. They made a super duo, meeting right after they graduated hero school, they had Leona shortly after being transferred to an international branch of their hero department, even tho neither of them really spoke Japanese. When they died, a terrible accident with an exploding building, nobody really knows the true cause, her dual citizenship and the fact nobody was looking for her, the only option was being sent to live in a local Orphanage.
Appearance:
View attachment 632079
Personality:
Quiet, bitter, cold. It's a harsh world out there for kids who don't know their place, who think that if they knew their family, they would maybe have a sense of purpose, that they would know their place in the world. Or just maybe the ache would go away. Leona has always been a quiet kid, not the most social, but not really a recluse either. She preferred the quiet, the low energy kids, the ones she could maybe sit down and read with or play a board game without a first fight breaking out. And like the other orphans, she was inspired by the stories of her parents. Leona always found it weird how neither of her parents had the same quirk as her, but maybe that was for the best. Leona knows how uncomfortable she can make people sometimes. It hurt, but she got used to it. As she grew older, she shit down more, she resented the way the others would light up when the Pro Heros came on TV or when they were talked about in class. She never really looked up to anyone like that.

She felt like she only had villains or creeps to look up to.

Leona soon became that antisocial kid you see sitting in the back. The wallflower, the one who blends into the background until her quirk is active. She didn't have any friends really, just people she knew, and she was always more academically focused than the other kids seemed to be. Honestly, though, she wasn't paying attention. But, there were those one or two who could breakthrough. The ones who saw that her caring was shown in many different small ways. She would make sure that the bowls we're always in reach of the younger kids, or how she made sure that there was always a pencil for everyone even if they didn't notice. She was the one putting blankets on the people who fell asleep downstairs, and that bookbags were packed. Everything she did she did in the background. Leona cares deeply about everything she does, apathetic, but one of the most sympathetic people you'll meet. She doesn't always know what to say or do, but she does know that at some point, people just need someone to talk to. Her loyal, hardworking nature is often overshadowed by the preconceptions that people have of her. Leona knows this, which is why even if her efforts are ignored or maybe even turned around for the worse, she can't stop.
History:
Leona, as most would expect from Orphans, never knew her parents. Simply their shadow. The stories of the kind but mighty heroes. It was supposed to inspire her, and I suppose it did, but there are limits. She was two when she was put into the TCFH, where she didn't understand that her mom and dad were never coming back. That the noisy place full of other children was now her home. Leona didn't like it. She didn't remember much of her first year, being an infant can do that, her first memory is of a preschool like setting when she was about four. Some little jerk was running with scissors, tripped, and stabbed Leona. Not on purpose, obviously but he never did apologize. The feeling of blood pooling under her leg, the pain, she sharp tug and gush as someone pulled the scissors out, nobody really expected that to trigger her quirk. Suddenly her eyes went red, the veins in her hands firing up in the same color red, all that blood began to circle around her, aiming for anybody nearby as she stood up. And then Leona suddenly collapsed. She woke up a few hours later in the hospital, alone, the back of one of the adults out in the hall.

People started acting weird around her afterward, and for a few weeks, she didn't really know why. The sudden activation of her quirk coupled with the blood loss caused her to blackout. She thought everything was normal until someone tried to get her to activate it again. The same preschool like situation, a few kids we're throwing things at her, trying to piss her off or get her to bleed one. They got both. They didn't get hurt, but damn, they shit their pants running away calling her a demon. She remembered that incident and finally went to speak to the quirk counselor. They weren't really sure how to handle her, her quirk was similar to water manipulation, but with the added benefit that it could kill her if they pushed too hard in training. But they didn't have a choice. And so began her training and the start of her withdrawal from the other Orphans.

When they reached elementary school, and more quirks started showing up, Leona did her best to hide hers. She didn't want the extra attention, and she wanted to avoid another incident, and even her quirk counselor agreed. Leona wasn't lucky enough to hide it forever, as the teacher around the middle of the school year forced everyone who had gotten their quirk to show it off, she wouldn't skip Leona. The few friends she had made, the people willing to look her in the eyes or speak normally we're disgusted. Kids can be really mean, and these ones were not exceptions. Even her teacher was in on it apparently. When the kids would take sides for games that require a "villain" presence, Leona was always the first one picked for the bad guys. She was excluded from certain activities, often worked by her self even on group projects, and worse, some of the older kids who knew would take it into their hands to teach her a lesson. She suffered several concussions, a broken bone or two, and by the end of her elementary career, they had convinced her she was a monster.

The first day of middle school, their homeroom teacher went around and asked them all what they wanted to do when they got older. Most kids said hero, they were met with affirmative words and cheers. It was Leona's dream too, but she was met with silence, and then a room wide laughter. It took a few minutes for them to settle down. Later, her teacher pulled her aside, and told her that maybe she should think of something else, that hero work required a certain umph. That she wouldn't be able to handle it. Her dream was impossible. Over the course of the first year, she sank into a depression. She still trained and worked as hard, but most of her time off was spent in her room. She stopped taking care of herself, barely eating, her shower schedule was a mess, which didn't help things at school, it seemed to be an endless cycle of abuse and self-loathing she couldn't and honestly, still can't escape from. Year two didn't go much better, and by year three, she had almost completely given up. Until one day when a Pro-Hero, the one who called herself Meltdown, came to their school. Everyone wanted to meet her, to get her autograph or a picture. Leona was waiting at the back of the line, terrified and unsure of what to do or say, it seemed to fall silent when it was her turn. She very quickly mumbled for an autograph, to which Meltdown was happy to give, she asked what Leona wanted to do. "I want to be a hero, " she said. Obviously, her classmates began to mock her, a chorus of laughs and jeers being thrown her way, Leona just wanted to rip her notebook away and leave. But Meltdown stopped them, I mean, her skin was glowing red hot, of course, they would stop, and she looked back to Leona. "Then you be the best-damned hero you can be. Don't let anything stop you." It was a simple sentence that anyone could have said to Leona, but the fact it came from a real pro-hero made it mean something more than if just anyone had said it. It didn't stop the bullying, but it helped drive Leona.

All the way to the entrance exam.
Quirk:
Hemokenesis (Blood Manipulation - Appeared at 4 years old)
Quirk explanation:
Leona can manipulate the red and white blood cells of both herself and others because she has a mutation of both of her parent's quirks. She can make blood flow like water, harden, increase in temperature, and expand rapidly. If there is an open wound on someone, she can manipulate their blood while it's still in their body. She would have to be touching them in order to do so, which means getting close. Leona isn't a fan of righting close range, but it can come in handy when someone needs to be stopped in their tracks. Mostly she manipulates her own blood, or the blood lost by an enemy, and rarely ever asks someone if she can use theirs. Additionally, her cells are constantly regenerating, giving her a low-grade healing factor. When her quirk is active, the veins in her forearms glow red (giving her good access points, but there's also the downside of being attached to two glow sticks), as well as her eyes. It's essentially so she has easy access to some of her veins, but it also makes her a glow stick with pinpoint targets.

After battles, Leona suffers from Aniema. It takes a bit for her blood to regenerate after heavy usage, leaving her in a weakened and vulnerable state. When she's like this, She relies on her allies for help as moving is difficult and she's unable to defend herself. Because of this, battles that drag on too long are yet another weakness, as if she isn't careful, she could easily be struck down by her own body in the middle of a fight, which could prove to be fatal since she could cause herself to bleed out. Now, there is a way to combat the blood loss effects, and that's by recalling her blood or blood of the same type. However, it's not always the best option, as you never know what's going on with your surroundings, so Leona has to be careful. If she isn't 100 percent sure that it's her blood/the same blood type (she gets this feeling in her gut that usually tells her), or if it's not clean, she can get dreadfully ill. She's immune to Blood poisoning and other diseases, but her body will reject blood that's not up to standard. She will get a fever, delirious, extremely nauseous, even passing out. And the only ways to fix it is to either inject clean blood into her system, ride it out, or have a doctor/healing quirk treat her. Leona also has made a promise to herself that she will never use her quirks full abilities or to break her own code unless she is about to die and there's no other option.

Dr. Yuri Fujioka

25
Gender:
Female
Role:
Pro-Hero, Combat Instructor/Counselor (A psychologist not a quirk counselor)
Appearance:
View attachment 631928
Personality:
Yuri is an incredibly intelligent woman, having fast-tracked her academic career to the point shes only 25 and has a Ph.D. in Psychology even with doing the hero work. She puts it good use too, a strategizer, a woman who knows exactly why you're acting the way you are and how to use it against you. Or help you if it's during her office hours. She's very friendly, outgoing, a woman as bubbly as you would expect for what she does, it's not always like this. She's human, like the rest of us, and can be called something of a hothead who doesn't let go of a grudge easily, which can make her quirk flare-up. She can even get frustrated by a problem that she could solve easily if she just took a step back to breathe, she's often caught up in the moment trying to bulldoze her way through. Hardworking, loyal, morally grey for a hero but who's gonna judge. Just don't piss her off, she will melt your hair.
History:
Not much is actually know about her past, which makes sense given she was born into a Yakuza family. Fujioka is not her real last name, it was changed so that her family reputation wouldn't get in the way of her dreams, thanks, mom and dad. Anyway, her history officially starts in Sakura High, as one of the youngest students admitted. She was 13, with a spotless academic record of nothing but success, she quickly proved why. Yuri was a genius. Her teachers wanted to go easy on her because of her age, but she quickly proved them wrong, that they didn't need to baby her. She aced everything, if you could graduate early she would have, but instead she settled for 16, and a wonderful full-ride scholarship to the college of her choice, which she kept a secret. Anyway, her debut was explosive, to say the least.

An amateur hero of just 17 years old, Yuri was drawn u to the middle of a war on when a group of terrorists seized some of downtown Tokyo. Because of civilian presence, the pro-heroes had limited options and the villains knew this. They had 73 hostages, 10 wounded cops, and had taken down 2 pro heroes in under three hours. Which sounds like a long time, but these guys weren't using quirks, they had heavy weaponry, everyone had to be careful. And then in came Meltdown. Her skin lit up like molten metal, hair on fire, but like, in a cool way, not shes gonna be bald in a few seconds. They tried shooting her, but the bullets melted before they reached her, the rain was evaporating before it hit the ground, paper was catching on fire. She looked like a demon, or fire nymph maybe. Either way, the sight of that must have terrified the shit out of the terrorists because next thing you see is them dropping their weapons, trembling as the got on the ground, and the really neat waves of Yuri cooling down.

The most challenging part of hero work for her is balancing it while her school work. Anyway, just last year, she graduated with a Ph.D., an extra 12 years worth of school done in not a lot of time, she applied to be a school psychologist with Sakura High. Hero work was tolling, and the people training to be heroes were just kids, they would need help processing. This, however, will be her first year as a combat instructor, focusing a lot on hand to hand and melee weapons. And you know she's excited.
Quirk:
Body Temperature Manipulation
Quirk explanation:
Yuri has complete control over the body temperature of herself and others, including increasing and decreasing it to harmful or lethal levels, within the ranges of 80°F to 110°F when it comes to the body heat of others, and she can increase it to levels where touching her is painful/damaging. She can raise her own body temperature high enough to metal Platinum, and it's helped by her emotions. The more extreme her emotions are, the high she can go. While turning herself redhot is limited to just herself, her surroundings definitely feel it. She can also lower her body temperature to where she cannot be detected, however, she's not immune to the effects of long exposure to the cold, so using this half of her powers is not common. She'sfireprooff, and can withstand heats that nobody else could (not including lava, shes never tried it) cold is a no go.

A downside to her power is the emotional factor. Extreme emotions don't just come in times for battle, but also everyday life. She can sometimes cause accidents like fires or something important melting because her emotions are running high. She can control them, but hey, she's human. Cooling down takes a while too, and during that time, she can't do much of anything. She can still move of course, but interrupting the cool down procedure can cause her serious injury as her body needs to readjust to the temperature. So, she often works with a partner who can help her out. And, wearing metal or plastic is a no go, the always melt. A lot of her clothing is leggings and hoodies, and she doesn't do formal events.
Relationships:

Other:
  • The outfit seen above is her hero outfit, inspired by her parents.
  • You can bribe her with spicy noodles and iced coffee
  • This woman often is only still standing thanks to energy drinks, so, no math, please

Personality:
Edzan is a very cold calculated person, giving off a very intimidating aura, although rarely raising his voice from its regular deep calm tone, Edzan seems to be in charge of the situation at all times and commanding of the room's attention. Never seeming tired or very awake, Edzan is simply stoic, Lending a hand when one is needed, teaching his students to the best of his abilities, not talking to many people outside of business he's a very private person. He is very kind and empathetic when he lets his guard down, which he rarely does.

History: Edzan was born to an impoverished family outside of Tokyo, wherein he'd have to fight for every crumb of food that came his way out on the streets, each of his 5 siblings had to find a way to get money to provide for their sickly parents, after years of scrounging for scraps him and his siblings developed their quirks, making it easier for them to get money- by any means. But Edzan slowly separated from the streets he grew up on, instead of stealing to live, he'd wander the streets looking to help people and stop thieves with his Quirk. After years of that and eventually joining the ranks of heroes, He somehow found himself with a teaching and security position at Sakura High.

Quirk: Delta Force
Edzan can form his own fighting spirit into a physical object, that can do anything he'd be able too, but is significantly stronger, faster, and more durable. Becoming more powerful and uncontrollable the more angry and desperate he is. Its power and speed are based heavily on his emotions, becoming weaker when his mental state is weak, and stronger when his mental state is strong.

Other: He walks to school and doesn't own a car. getting intoxicated makes his quirk go berserk, so he never drinks. Sometimes plays chess against Delta Force when he's bored. Aside from Combat, He uses Delta Force like an extra set of arms to help clean his apartment.

Ami Leii, A.K.A Sweetfang
A super hero who is extremely vampire-like. Rather then gaining power from blood she gains power from sugar. Her upper limits give her enough power to remain one of the top three heroes. Her weakness is sunlight which drains her strength. With a constant sugar supply she could survive in direct sunlight but without any sugar she would die within an hour of direct sunlight. 20 minutes can bring her to critical condition. She mostly works at night as a hero, leaving her days free to become a teacher.

Name: Lana Del' Rize
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Role: Orphan
View attachment 635445
Parents: Lana is the illegitimate daughter of the Mimicry Hero Mr. Mirror. As no details were known about her origins until a blood test confirmed her relation to him, Mr. Mirror was wholly unaware of her existence. He supposedly perished along with his nemesis, Professor Nitro, during their final battle along the coast of Osaka. A flighty individual who partied as hard as he fought, it's believed that Lana was the result of one of his numerous one-night stands. As her mother's identity is still entirely unknown, Lana's wound up levying the blame for her cursed existence upon her late father.

Personality: If there was a single phrase one could use to describe Lana's personality, it would be 'Silent Hostility'. Embittered by the harsh youth she had mostly due to the challenges her mutation Quirk gave her, Lana was always one for foul mods. The fact that her Quirk gave her a blatantly horrific appearance on top of that only intensified what was already a fairly disastrous self-image. Lana has come to expect the worst of people by default, including herself. She dislikes interacting with others to such an extent, that she makes a point to avoid speaking as much as possible in order to keep from garnering any more attention than her quirk already does. When she does speak, its often curt, blunt, and to the point. That being said, she does have a tendency to pity those who she feels have it worst than her. As such, she's likely to go against her own words and help others despite her blatant pessimism.

History: From day one, Lana's had a very clear understanding of where she stood in the world. It was said she couldn't have been more than a month old when she was abandoned by mother dearest. One look from the orphanage staff who found her had them believing that she'd been experimented on by some cruel villain. A quick run to the nearest hospital and several tests later proved that to be incorrect. What some viewed as a terrible affliction was no more than her Quirk. A quirk which would go on to dominate the rest of Lana's life.

It was harder in her youth, as the Quirk left her body seemingly deformed in a number of ways. It took her longer to learn how to walk on her odd, insectoid limbs. Eating without spilling her food out the sides of her jaws was practically impossible She had to rely on straws and blended drinks to avoid spilling it all over herself until her cheeks grew to the point where she could chew properly. Speaking with all her extra teeth and fangs was a struggle up until he was seven, temporarily giving her a stutter which the rest of her peers picked up on immediately. Eventually her legs formed enough to where she could finally learn to walk, beforehand she'd taken to scuttling about on her misshapen limbs like a child-sized spider.

Staff would eventually inform her who her father was, and suddenly Lana had someone to blame for her disgusting excuse for a life. It had to have been because of his Quirk, she figured mirroring all those other Quirks during his career had passed to her in the form of her sickly amalgam of physical characteristics. Too bad for her that he was already dead, so she couldn't even vent to him about all the hardships he'd left her. It wasn't just that her Quirk was hard to deal with, it was that it was absolutely horrifying to most unsuspecting outsiders. Over the years, the children of the orphanage had the chance to grow accustomed to her horrifying visage, but it soon became clear that those beyond the walls of the orphanage would be blind-sided by the chitin, tentacles and numerous eyes.

Lana grew spiteful, despite managing to grow accustomed to her own body she never fully got over how it facilitated most of her interactions. Soon it became easier to just outright refuse interaction instead of risking it going badly. Even after growing used to speaking, her voice became something of a rarity, only coming out in rare instances. To facilitate this, Lana relied on curt replies, keeping even the most necessary of talks as quick as possible. The one exception to this being a sickly orphan by the name of Maize. Maize was one of the only individuals Lana felt she could pity more than herself. Whereas she'd been able to learn to function despite the setbacks given by her quirk, Maize was cursed with a weak immune system that led to her constantly being bed-ridden.

As the sickly child wasn't capable of speaking much due to the frailty brought on by numerous causes, Lana would often plant herself near her for respite of some sort. They were something of a package deal for a few years until yet another horrid disease left Maize stuck in a hospitable for the foreseeable future. Lana visited often, enjoying the solitary atmosphere the hospital provided. But it was there that Maize would put forward a most dire request: She'd be happy if Lana were to become a hero.

Though denying such possibilities, Lana found that Maize seemed convinced of her good nature despite her protests. Finding her companion stalwart in her conviction, Lana eventually relented on the matter. Though unconvinced that Hero work would be suitable for someone as openly spiteful as her, Lana would be remiss to deny her friend such a request. And so she trained, doing what she could to make her Quirk useful in what she considered Hero scenarios. Embarrassed by how awkward she felt playing at Hero, Lana would only train away from prying eyes. Though awkward at first, Lana eventually felt confident enough to try getting into Sakura High.
Quirk: Amalgam
View attachment 635443
Quirk Explanation: Lana's body is an odd assortment of physical mutations. First off she's got six limbs instead of four, and those limbs vary in function and form. Most are chitinous in nature and capable of sustaining immense damage due to their exoskeleton, they also allow her to cling and climb along most flat surfaces. Their strength is also nothing to sneeze at, as Lana's perfectly capable of lifting ten times her body weight. Two of her limbs grow from just above her hips and aid her in movement. Her longest limb without a doubt is the tentacle growing from her right shoulder, it's able to stretch up to seven yards away from her and is almost as strong as her chitin arms. Unlike her other limbs, this tentacle can regenerate damage much faster than the rest of her body, able to regrow from even a stump. Her extra teeth and the sheer force of her jaws allow her to bite through things like doors and thin metal walls, and the cluster of eyes on the right side of her face is capable of seeing in the pitch black.

While these mutations provide her a wide array of maneuverability and attacks, they're also greatly hampered in a number of ways. First off, even with the usage of four limbs Lana's not built for running. Her limbs tend to tangle and trip her up, so her go-to option when needing to get somewhere fast is jumping. She's capable of leaping forward a good ten yards each, using her limbs to propel and catch herself. This fundamental difference also means she struggles to stand up on slippery surfaces. Wet floors will often force her to scuttle about on all of her limbs to keep from falling over, and she's downright unable to move on things like ice floors. While her tentacle can regenerate, its also the most susceptible part of her body when it comes to damage. Despite its strength, its extremely easy to cut or tear. Plus regenerating the limb won't negate the blood loss that losing it can incur, leaving Lana extremely light headed every time.

Her cluster of eyes present a whole other problem, as she can't really close them. Unlike her human eye, the cluster doesn't have eyelids and merely remains open. While they don't dry out or suffer the same penalties such a defect would lead regular eyes to, this leaves Lana eternally susceptible to sudden bright lights. Though she can try to cover as much of them as possible, sudden bright flashes of light will often leave Lana stumbling, this is mostly the fault of her enhanced nigh vision. Lana is also not entirely mutated, the regular human portions on her torso and face are susceptible to all the same threats the every day Joe has to worry about. Though she can try covering up, her appearance is extremely hard to hide with conventional clothing, making her stand out amongst a crowd.

Relationship:
Maize- Another Orphan who's weak Immune system has left her in and out of hospitals her entire life. Lana's pity for her led to Maize becoming one of the few people Lana actually considers friends. She's the primary reason Lana's been trying to become a hero.

Other: She took up sewing in her youth to help work on her motor control, it would continue to be one of her few hobbies.

He's got a gross quirk and a hard to deal with personality, but I hope that's okay.

Name: Miles Lowayne, the edgy kid.
Age: 15
Gender: Male
Role: Orphan
Parents*: Miles isn’t an orphan in the traditional sense of dead parents, but rather he was confiscated when his Dad, Carlo Lowayne was arrested. His dad occasionally sends him letters from prison. Miles has never read bothered to read them, not because he has any resentment to his father, but because he doesn’t really see the point of getting to know a Dad he will probably never meet. When Miles was found there was a lot of speculation as to who his mother was, with many suspecting it was the Pro Hero Wrecks. However, eventually a genetic test proved this wasn't the case, and his mother's identity remains a mystery.

Appearance: View attachment 635605
Miles despite his age is 6’4. He used this height to fake his age and get ear piercings and tattoos despite being underaged.

Personality: Miles is a weirdo and revels in it. He’s not terribly bright and always follows his own pace and does weird things like eating insects. He refuses to listen to others at all, with Orphanage workers saying that trying to talk to him is like talking to a brick wall. This attitude has made him rather unpopular, so he wasn’t friends with any of the other orphans growing up. Miles has become a troublemaker and a bully because he enjoys the attention as it’s better than nothing.

History: Miles was born to a pair of small-time drug dealers. When his Dad was caught, police found the baby which was taken to the orphanage. Miles was and is a difficult kid, with even experienced staff not knowing how to handle him, let alone the other kids. Miles like any kid wanted attention, and his inability to socialize normally with others caused him to become a bully for attention. Despite all this, for some reason, Miles signed up to hero school. No one could fathom why. The truth of it? A lot of the other orphans were doing it and he didn’t want to think about what his life would be like without them. In a weird way, he cares about them, because even if the relationship is only one way he sees them as the closest thing he has to friends or family.

Quirk: Zombie
Quirk explanation: Zombie is a mutation type quirk that is actually a weaker version of his dad’s liquefication quirk.

Miles can’t liquidate himself on command like his father, and instead, his body automatically liquidates in response to damage. Miles won’t die no matter how much of his body is splattered as long as his brain is intact, but if he is splattered around too much, he’ll have trouble getting back together. If you were to cut off his arm, the wound would melt, and he’d be able to control his arm at a distance and reattach it. (However the further his arm gets from his body, the less control he’d have over it).
Weaknesses
  • Miles body is more fragile than a normal human
  • The further away Mile’s body parts get away the less control he has over them.
  • He can’t liquidate his brain or it’s skull casing. (But can remove his jaw and spine)
  • Miles is very weak to non-physical attacks, such as fire, ice or acid, since his body is fragile, and his immunity doesn’t apply.
  • Despite being effectively immune to bludgeoning, piercing and slashing, bullets still damage Miles due to their incredible heat.
Strengths
  • Basically, immune to most physical damage
  • Wireless body parts like eyes, ears or hands.
  • Somehow if he removes his mouth, he can talk through it despite being disconnected from his respiratory system.
  • Theorized to come from his mother’s side, his body seems to be stronger than average despite its fragility.

Relationships:

His counselor tried hard to be a friend and a positive figure to Miles but was tested to the limits of their patience and was eventually forced to leave Miles to his own devices.

The other orphans live in dread of Miles because they never know when they might be surprised by a severed arm or when he might steal a treasured item.

Appearance:
a young man of average height with long white hair and light gray skin with pointed ears, and two white lines below his dark green eyes. his strange features are due to his quirk, being able to change how he looks at any time he prefers to look like this
Roy.png

Personality: a fairly insecure boy due to his previous family upbringing, tries to put on a brave face to keep everyone else around him feeling better, but in reality he has tons of deep seeded self doubt that has convinced himself he'll always be the second best at all he does. He's fairly well meaning and kind, always trying to put others before himself, though taking awhile to open up, he's a good and supportive friend. Always doing his best to impress those around him, he tries excessively hard, sometimes to hard- often pushing himself to exhaustion, he just wants people to thinks he's good enough to warrant being around. While alone he paints mostly people he's seen or places he's been, or just expressing his feelings through the median of art, he takes great solace in painting.

History: Roy was raised in quite a large family, getting any form of attention from his parents was an uphill battle for him and he was losing, due to his parents seeing his quirk as 'Just a worse version if everyone elses' telling him this daily. All his siblings out classed him in almost everything other than art, but any skill that wouldn't make him a high earning hero was useless to his parents, both retired heroes that didn't get much done, both now trying to live their dreams through their children. After a seven years of this his parents simply dropped him off at the orphanage one night, leaving him without a second thought.

Quirk: Impressionist

Impressionist allows Roy to perfectly take on the appearance of anyone he can or has seen, male or female, regardless of size. the most prominent ability being able to replicate the quirk of anyone that is in eyesight, albeit a weaker version, (even mutation type duo to being able to change appearance) using the ability of someone else's quirk is very stamina draining for Roy, so he doesn't do it often, relying on his own wit and strength to get out of encounters and using his image changing ability to sneak past people rather than fight them. if he's in a pinch he can even combine abilities from quirks, although he rarely ever does duo to the strain it causes him.

Other: loves performing arts and music, quite a good singer and pianist himself. Really likes animals, REALLY likes cats. Keep a pencil and paper on him at all times for 'emergencies', Enjoys painting quite a bit. Loves art

Personality: Very charming and slightly deceitful at times, Roy tries his best to be on everyone's good side at once and usually makes it there by some means, he's prone to lying about things happening in his past, but no one can verify if they are true or not, so he's free to spin stories at will. perceived as a 'ladies man' despite being gay he enjoys playing up his public image as the charmer as much as possible, took up learning sleight of hand magic just to impress others with flowers out of nowhere.

Trying to look and be perfect is a constant stress for him, how he's perceived is everything to him, so almost everything he does is based on how it will affect his overall image. doing almost anything, to the point of joining the most strenuous and difficult to enter hero course in japan, since being a good hero is the ultimate way to earn the love of the people. in addition, he's a tactical mastermind, spending most of his rare moments alone planning out attack plans or escape routs in any scenario, having a backup plan ready to replace the one at hand always.

Deep down he's very insecure about himself, to the point of self-loathing. the reasoning behind wanting to be perfect is the fact he knows he will never be. He blames himself for the fact he's an orphan, thinking that his parents didn't want such a failure of a child of himself. even though he's never done anything to garner it, he thinks everyone is looking to take him down at all times.

History: Roy doesn't talk much about his past, so not many people actually know who he was or who his parents were. He's said they were pro heroes, normal office workers, retired villains, or poor refugees, but a search for the name Rainfield comes up dry on all databases. the only thing he's truthful about is that his parent just stopped showing up at home one day, so he took himself to the orphanage one rainy night and someone got in with no one noticing, likely due to his quirk.

In the orphanage, he quickly made his way into every circle of friends some way or another, even the caretakers liked his charm, the orphanage was his kingdom, and his cold lonely room, devoid of any real friends to lift him up from his own self-hatred was his throne room.

That's great! Once the orphanage staff found out he was in though, how did they deal with it, considering this is an orphanage for only the children of fallen heroes?

Name: Heinrich Wenst (The Heartstop Hero)

Age: 52

Gender: Male

Role: Teacher/School Doctor

Appearance:
CiKbWO_VAAErOMm.png
Personality: Heinrich believes himself to be the forefront of all medical knowledge, and due to his training and Quirk, his claims aren't exactly unfounded. His rampant egotism is backed by his capabilities when helping others, able to bring even the most devastated of patients back from the brink. Despite his capabilities, he's not one for humility or humbleness. Almost every sentence he speaks will be punctuated by self-gratuitous rambling, often leading to him telling tales of the great procedures he's been able to do because of his quirk. While he holds respect for anyone who helps others, from his speech alone anyone could tell that he places healers on a pedestal. Though this is almost definitely just an excuse for him to see himself as a divine being.

History: Convinced that the world needed more Doctors, Heinrich spent much of his early life training to become the best damned Surgeon on the planet. It was through this that he discovered his quirk, which he took as a sign that he was destined to become the greatest healer of his generation. This idea led to him developing egomania as he began saving more and more people. Everything from his speech to his mannerisms became more purposeful as his sense of self-worth began Culminating in a desire to pass on his great teachings to the next generation.

Quirk:
Healthy Heart- By placing his hand on someone's chest, Heinrich can encourage their heart to begin producing a healing salve that can heal some of the most crippling wounds. This process quickly dehydrates the patient, however, requiring excess water to keep them from straight up drying out. He also requires the heart to actually be beating to do this. He can do this to two people at once by utilizing both hands, but this process is twice as slow as a result.

Other: Heinrich's mask pulses along with his own heartbeat, and along with his haggard appearance often leads people to doubt his medical aptitude. In fact, his Hero title along with his appearance and mannerisms often lead people to mistakenly assume he's a villain despite his accomplishments.

Name: Alison Todoryan ( The Holy Knight Hero)
Age: 40
Gender: Female
Role: Teacher/ Fundamental Heroics
Appearance:
CmLjQUlVYAA4jCk.jpg
Personality:
Alison is desperately trying to mimic the Heroes of old, often speaking with excessive theatrics about concepts like honor, loyalty and all the mushy stuff possible. Having adopted the mannerisms of an old-timey knight in order to better fit her image of the ideal hero, Alison will try to engage in jolly interactions with her peers. This jolliness will often follow her into battle, likening villains to Orcs and Dragons while civilians are kindly village-folk.

History: Alison discovered her Quirk young, having her night light break one night led to her instinctively drawing on what little light came from an outside streetlight to scare off the monsters. Ever since then, she's constantly drawn upon light to brighten her day. Noting the resemblance this ability had to the many times in cartoons when light would shine down upon someone, she began dressing up as a hero and playing cops and robbers with much more gusto. It was during one of these games that the full extent of her abilities revealed itself when she accidentally carved a bench in half. From here, her obsession with becoming a model hero was recognized, Alison would eventually become the eccentric Holy Knight.

Quirk:
Holy Light- Alison can draw in light, darkening the area around her in the process. This light can then be focused through her fingertips into highly condensed beams capable of sawing through solid metal. She often uses this Quirk for theatrics, as she can constantly keep a personal spotlight on herself, but its extremely effective for offense as well. Not only that, she can also discharge all of it at once in a non-lethal manner, essentially turning herself into a human-sized flash-bang. It shouldn't really need to be stated, but she requires light for this Quirk to work. The darker her surroundings, the weaker her Quirk becomes, and its basically just completely nullified in the pitch Black. However, it doesn't necessarily need to be natural light which she gains her abilities from, so street-lights, neon signs, and even a flash-light can be utilized.

Other: Alison has refused to take off her helmet in public ever since her 40th birthday several months ago. Though she will deny it, she's been stuck in a mid-life crisis for over a year. Alison carries two flashlights on her person wherever she goes.

( Natural Flavour Natural Flavour just lemme know if either of them seem viable.)

Name: Ferryn Evans

Age: 15

Gender: Female

Role: Student

Appearance:
images
c585fab2426822a90c8ecab55bf758b3.png
Her hair is ash blonde, and her eyes are hazel/gold.

Personality: Ferryn is a thoughtful, sensitive girl who suffers from a fairly severe stutter. She opts to be silent more often than not. But she was cute and sweet, and wanted good for everyone, until a villain-attack at her school changed the lives of her and her friends forever. Now she's nervous and angry, and is suffering the affects of PTSD, finding it far more difficult to control her quirk.

History: Ferryn had a fairly normal childhood, growing up with two parents who had good jobs. Ferryn has a natural stutter, and despite tons of speech therapy in her early childhood, it remains uncorrected. Her parents loved her, but weren't around much because of their jobs, and they often didn't know what their daughter needed from them. Ferryn was a model child, too afraid and too handicapped in social situations to do much harm. She had a good heart, and she knew that with a powerful quirk like hers, she should become a hero to save the helpless. So she enrolled in Free State hero academy in the north of Japan, and was there for about a week when villains attacked the school and took all the first years and two of the third years, where they were held for around two days before getting introduced to the head of the league of villains: The former #1 Pro Hero. She decided to betray hero society as she saw it full of flaws, and wanted to sway the next generation of heroes to be on her side, and select a successor for the league of villains. The hero students watched as one of their teachers fought her, before she sent a self-killing blow that shattered a 1/4 of the city, wounding some of the youth badly, and leaving more than physical wounds for many, Ferryn included. Her parents decided to take her away from her new friends and the school, and Ferryn sunk into a deep depression, surmounting in a kind of unintentional suicide attempt, destroying the upstairs of her house. Then her parents decided that Ferryn needed to be trained to use her powerful quirk properly, and she was then enrolled in Sakura High privately, without an entrance exam. The news reports regarding the villain attack had made the youths semi-famous, despite them not actually fighting the villains themselves. And since she was previously enrolled in a prestigious hero school and had taken their exam, they let her transfer.

Quirk Name: Perfect Storm

Quirk Ability:
  • Can shoot various types of weather out of the palms of their hands
  • Hail, lightning, tornados, you name it, they can use it (can use hurricanes in water)
  • Intensity varies upon need
  • Can also use less intense weather for everyday things like watering a plant, warming a friend, blowing on something

Quirk Weaknesses:
  • Cannot control the actual weather outside, in fact, the user could interfere with it and get hurt. Using lightning in a thunderstorm might actually cause them to get struck.
  • Only the user's hands are immune to the effects of the weather they produce.
  • The stronger or bigger the area of the attack, the harder it is to control, risking damage to the user and wherever they are and whoever they're with.
  • A strong attack may leave the user exhausted and disoriented.
  • In the event of high emotions, this quirk is very hard to control and may spring forth at any time, injuring the user and anyone around them.
Other: Ferryn hasn't spoken nearly at all since the villain incident. She knows sign-language, but doesn't often use it.

Name: Hiro Jishin

Age: 15

Gender: Male

Role: Orphan

Parents*: Hiro's parents were both Pro Heroes: his father being Daisuke Jishin, also known as Seisman, and his mother being Haruka Jishin-Nakimura, also known as Isotope. Daisuke's Quirk allowed him to absorb kinetic energy, and move it towards the ground. But besides that, the ability was very limited, though it made him quite good at search and rescue, since pretty much any rubble wouldn't hurt him much. Haruka on the other hand was much more powerful, able to generate and manipulate radiation in it's various forms. Though her Quirk was eventually her downfall. After years of being exposed to high amounts of radiation, she developed cancer when Hiro was about four. Her passing affected Daisuke and Hiro greatly, and the former passed soon afterwards, dying in a gas explosion after saving civilians after a massive earthquake.

Appearance:
6911d117d528509e26e1188bf98e7f20.jpg

Personality: Hiro is, and always has been, an incredible human being. He was born to be a hero, and he's always striving to become better. He's incredibly empathetic, always looking to help others in any way he can. That being said, he is often naive, and can sometimes be...too nice, if that makes sense. He's always worried about getting into conflict, and can often seem a wallflower in that regard.

History: You probably already know this. Both his parents died, and Hiro was left at the mercy of the foster care system. After years of experiencing the absolutely broken system, he decided that he would change it, so that no one else would experience what he did. He did everything he could to get into Sakura High, and he'll be damned if he wastes this opportunity.

Quirk: Redirect

Quirk explanation: A synthesis of his parent's Quirks, Hiro can manipulate kinetic energy. So say you punch him, and he activates Redirect. He could then take the force of the punch, absorb it, then channel that energy into his own punch with the force that was thrown at him. So far, he's found he can only use this ability with his limbs, though this does mean he could potentially survive great falls by just channeling his energy into the ground. The downsides of this abilities are quite simple. One, he has to activate this ability conciously. So if you catch him off guard, he can't use the ability to redirect any attacks. Two, he never absorbs the energy. He just takes it into himself and redirects it somewhere else. So if he can't find anywhere to send the force, he could potentially hurt himself.

ScatheAriiasqDrayceon ScatheAriiasqDrayceon

Name: Flame Arii Drayceon (Original name was simply 'Arii', which also means 'Flame' in a language I made up for a certain string of characters to use)

Age: 13 (the characters in the show were 14, and she's an August child, so...)

Gender: Female

Role: Previous orphan. Adopted by Pro-Hero Jet Kadoshi.

Parents*: Flame's parents where the American, duel heroes (under the same name) Dragonfire. Made of Infurnace Zaam'Ar Drayceon (fully Asian (which is unknown)) and Scorch Shzren Drayceon (white. Partially French and Scottish.) Infurnace's quirk was a hard-to-handle one; the control of heat. He could sense and direct heat, as well as fire resistance, similar to how his daughter can. His wife, Scorch, had a pair of truly massive draconic wings and tail, as well as fire resistance.

Flame barely knew them, but what she does remember... hurts.

Appearance: (Corrected dorsal)

Dragon form only used for wings and tail.

Mostly human and 5'8", Flame has a pair of wings and a tail perched near her spine. The wings are around three inches below her arms, and her forearm shoulder-blades are significantly smaller, causing her arms to be weaker, and despite their position, be secondary appendages.

Wings-wrists are ball-socket joints instead of gliding joints. All win-knuckles are also ball-socket joints.

Her tail starts where a normal human tailbone ends and it's perfectly prehensile, though very sensitive. Her tail is 7ft long, and her wings are 5 ft 4 in each in span.

The membrane from her wings connects to her tail, and it ends four inches after her tail starts. Scales grow out from her wings and tail in scattered groups. They stop at her neck, the very middle of her sides, and around her shoulders.

Long, slightly pointed ears replace the normal human one. Ears can move independently. 17mm long fangs. Pupils are catlike, mostly remaining slit in daytime, as they are sensitive to light.

Scar along left eye. 'Tattoo' stays on left shoulder as well.

Personality:
An anxious mess that can't control her quirk, her reflexes, or really anything in her life. She's closed off, takes notes in a foreign, nigh-impossible-to-read cipher, and most tend to think she's completely mute because most times, she uses sign-language, though when she does speak, it comes out a low, almost growling mutter. To people she's close with... she's a cynical little bastard at times, especially if you interrupt something she's doing. Most of the time, though, she's just jittery and semi-nice if you manage to start talking to her.

Under those insecurities born of her quirk, Flame is a very logic-driven person. She works on a surprisingly intelligible system of logic. Observe, hypothesize, test, repeat… although her default reaction to people in general is disdain. She’s generally fairly mellow, sticking to the background to watch events unfold and only ever really stepping up if something piqued her interest or offends her so bad that she can’t let it rest.

Most often, said offenses tend to be insults to her friends or family.

Despite this, she is still a person, and when emotions do come out of the box she shoves them in, they are most often explosive from constant suppression.

Despite Flame usually having a good handle on herself, she is quite cynical most of the time, doing the same to other people as she does to herself; pick them apart very slowly and very carefully to figure out their weakest points.

History:
Flame's quirk is... violent, and as a kid, it was also completely impossible to handle. Its power-levels were inconsistent at best (leveling out as she aged. They're fine now), and was so overwhelming that she couldn't physically function without a restrictor to hold it back.

In Pennsylvania, Flame manifested in an already-high-stress situation. She was living with her parents for four years before, combined with her father losing control of his quirk from death, she blew up her family's house, and everyone in it, including her already-dead brother, her sister, her mother, and father. She was found almost dead in a coma a few hours later.

She was sent to Japan live with the Pro-Hero Jet Kadoshi (my NPC if pros aren't allowed), and after living semi-uneventfully, applied to Sakura to try and control her quirk and maybe use it for something good.

Quirk: She never named it, and calls it Thermokinesis for simplicity.

Her mother and father's quirks merged to create... something she couldn't deal with well.

Quirk explanation:
-Thermokinesis (Heat manipulation in a 100 ft radius).
-Heat immunity (Repercussions in weaknesses).
-Skilled in the air.
-Maneuverable.

Weaknesses:
-Very sensitive to acids.
-Temperatures under 25 F will kill her without enough heat to manipulate.
-Weak to physical damage.
-Wings are highly sensitive to touch and pain.
-Blood coagulates very slowly.
-Using her thermal ability too much will also kill her.
Blood leaks out of eyes, ears, mouth, and nose. If she overclocks, she sweats blood, too.-Abrupt loud sounds will likely cause a startle, or even her to freeze.
-Bright flashes of light will blind her (including flashes from her own ignitions).
-Doesn't deal well with light in general.

Other:
-Spectrophobic (Fear of mirrors or, rather, what could be in them).
Cannot focus or really do anything when she notices a mirror is present (unless already in a high-stress situation)Very fast, very quiet.
Stealth focused.
Has a voice-activated, high-tech-ish phone made by a good friend. (Will describe IC)
Most active at night.
Decent traditional artist.
Computer nerd.
Knows too much for her own good.
Very used to working and sparring with Jet.

Name: Jet (Stream) Kadoshi

Age: 37

Gender: Male

Role: Pro-Hero/doctor

Parents*:
Obsidian Ventayis Kadoshi:
Quirk: Hellstorm: Obsidian's quirk allows him to produce large amounts of electricity and emit it.
Occupation: Pro Assassin.
Status: Deceased.

Indigo Yentari Kadoshi:
Quirk: Angel's blood: This quirk allows Indigo to transform into a large, feathered dragon-thing, but most of the time, remains in a half-shifted form, looking quite like an angel.
Occupation: Pro Assassin.
Status: Deceased.

Appearance:
View attachment 5v Jet Kadoshi reference.png
7'6" in human-ish form, 8'6" in Seraphim form. British accent.

Personality:
Jet is an… interesting figure. Despite being physically intimidating, he is quite a gentle soul. He’s very polite, and took on an oath of working to help instead of harm people, and would only ever fight for his, or other’s lives.

Even if he’s not feeling well emotionally, he will keep up a mask of mirth and will often refuse to tend to his own needs in favor of making sure those around him are living well. Most of the time, the best way to tell his mental state is to check how often the violin, which is framed at the top inside of his bedroom’s door, is used. The more he uses it, the worse he’s feeling, as it’s one of his most-effective outlets.

That being said, he is incredibly protective of friends and family, and the slightest endangerment to their health could have him hissing thinly-disguised warnings in your general direction.

History: (TBRPed)

Quirk: Never named it. Calls it electrokinesis.

Quirk explanation: (please include some weaknesses!)

Abilities:
-Electrokineses (Telepathy comes with it, though to strangers, it's more of pattern reading).
-Jaw splits for a better grip strength.
-Strong senses.
-Minor shapeshifting (Se above image).

Weaknesses:
-Cannot direct electricity when scales are exposed to more than two cups of water.
-Can't swim when wings are present.
-Inflexible in the back when wings are hidden.
-Wings are heavy as heck.
-Terrified of water.
-If jaw splits in human form, he will bleed. A lot.
-Senses are easily overwhelmed.
-Doesn't deal well with large amounts of light.
-His own electricity can temporarily paralyze him if he's not paying attention.
-Wings are sensitive.
-If feather shafts are broken, he will eventually bleed out.
-Basically a walking lightning rod any time he goes out in a storm.

Other:
-Power over Flame means power over Jet.
Used to be a doctor before taking on the Pro-hero job.
Electrokinesis is very sensitive to slight changes.
Telepathy is a thing with Electrokinesis.

Faded_Neon Faded_Neon

Hello! LOVE me some BNHA, I had a character already prepared but I wanted to send it to you first to see if it needed any changes/revisions!

Name: Kazuto Yubari
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Role: Orphan

Parents*: Setsuna (mother) and Toshiro (father) Yubari. Setsuna owned a flower shop, Toshiro was part of the Japanese military. Strangely enough though, both parents were known to be quirkless.

Personality: Kazuto is a rather reserved individual. He would never be the first to strike a conversation, though that should not mistake him for being unsocial. Kazuto carries an unwavering devotion to his goal, the reason he wishes to become a hero. This quality is accompanied by a competitive demeanor during the students' tests, and strives to ensure his success.

History: Although quirks were relatively new to the world of man, Sin had existed since before the dawn of man. It is still unknown exactly how it came to be, but the legend goes as such; The overwhelming dominion that Sin has had over all living things, had at one point cultivated itself into seven metaphysical forces. Lust, Envy, Gluttony, Sloth, Greed, Wrath, and Pride. These forces over time had transferred themselves through all manners of living things. As it began with animals, the sins have traversed themselves time after time through countless hosts and eventually began to embody themselves in man. Millennia have passed, countless people cursed and left dead from the overbearing weight of their sin. The forces find their host by sensing the impurities in their soul, feeling which sin holds most dominion over that person. Though in modern times, the sins have only found host in those who were born without an inherent quirk. It is unknown as to why they do not seek people with quirks. Some would say they are incapable of doing so.
Whichever the case, it is written that one day, it is fated for the Sins to reunite with one another. They will fight for true reign over mankind, as the one true Sin. However this is not the wish of a young Kazuto. When this curse was bestowed upon him, memories and images that were not his own flooded his mind. He knows what is to come.. and he has full intention in making an end to it. The life cycles of the Sin Quirks can end, but only if destroyed by the hands of another sin..
This is why Kazuto strives to earn the title of hero. He understands fully that given the nature of his quirk, he would always be looked at as a being of murder and catastrophe.. when in truth, Kazuto's goal is to ensure the safety of every life he can. These sins will not stop until the earth itself is left in ruin, and the teen will stop at nothing to ensure that doesn't happen. But if he can achieve the status of hero, he may use his quirk freely and have allies who trust in his actions. Trust was something he was seldom given.. until he was enrolled into Sakura High, where he was placed in a class filled with..unusual students to say the least. But their hearts were kind, and their resolve strong. They trust in one another..

Quirk: Cardinal Sin Quirk; Wrath

Quirk explanation: Those chosen by the Sin Quirk of Wrath yield a perfect catalyst for its overwhelming, malicious power. Like the other sins, the human host inherits enhanced strength, speed and reflex. The particular abilities granted by Wrath however, are very unique. After activating the Quirk, the host's body is encased in a bio-organic armor that not only enhances the host's body in nearly every aspect, they may also project the malicious energy in either waves or manifest solid constructs. The longer the user fights, the angrier they become, the more they grow in power. However the imbued power within the host will grow itself, and eventually take full dominion of the body as its own..

Extra: Kazuto keeps the true nature of his quirk hidden from his classmates. From the perspective of the students, Kazuto has a simple enhancement quirk that enhances his strength, speed and reflex. Kazuto was better known for his impressive speed and combat ability rather than the immense brute force he continues to hide. Only the school board and staff are aware of his full capabilities after the incident, and actively keep him under watch. Hence why Kazuto was initially enrolled.

Other: Kazuto is a smoker, and is commonly seen with a cigarette between his lips to reduce his stress levels. He is also a well-trained martial artist, adept in several different combat styles; making his specialty close-ranged combat.

Example appearance after quirk activation:

    Name: Troy Jackson
Hero Name: The Wild Cat Hero: Werecat.
    Age: 40
    Gender: Male
    Role: Pro hero/School staff (Gym)

    Appearance:
Troy is a tall man (6') that is athletically built and looks younger than he really is. He has yellow, cat-like eyes. Short fur covers his body and manes out around his neck; The fur on his face makes it look like he has a goatee. He styles his hair in an 80s-like fashion. He has stripes on his face and hair, and spots on his chest, arms, legs, and tail. His hero costume consists of a spiked collar, a leather jacket, black pants, black biker-styled boots, and black fingerless gloves.

    Personality:
Troy is a man that never let the 80s die and talks in a dated way. He's a charismatic hero that uses his charm to inspire others and make them feel safe, putting on a brave face even when a situation isn't fully under his control. He has a playful personality and comes off as a ladies man, but is still respectful of the opposite sex. He knows his boundaries when it comes to romantic relationships, but currently has a no-dating policy because hero work is dangerous and he has already lost one partner.

As the son of a cop, Troy has a strong moral compass. He also realizes that you don't have to go down the hero course in order to make the world a better place and wants to teach his students that there are other ways to use your quirks to help people beyond fighting villains; sometimes you don't even have to use your quirk at all to help people feel happy.

    History:
Troy was born in New York City in 1972 and inherited his quirk from his father. His father was a cop (now retired.) His father (and mother) helped teach him right from wrong, but instead of following his father's footsteps, he decided that he wanted to become a superhero. Troy decided to go to Sakura High because he wanted to go to Japan to learn more about his mother's heritage and because he heard it was a reputable school. In the late 80s, Troy went through the Sakura High hero course and later graduated.

While in school he hung around students like Edzan and Gabriel de la Cruz. He also met a girl with a fox quirk that gave her ears and a tail. The girl would become known as a hero named Vixen. Troy and Vixen ended up growing close as they went through the hero course and became a duo after graduating. Their partnership later became something more than just two friends working together and they got married.

Vixen temporarily suspended her hero activities when she found out that she was pregnant with their daughter, Kat, and she stayed home during Kat's early years. Vixen maintained her training and when Kat was a little older, Werecat and Vixen would alternate between one of them staying home with their daughter and the other going on patrol. One day Vixen didn't return and Troy soon found out that she had been killed by a villain while successfully protecting others; Kat was ten-years-old at the time.

Vixen's death hit him hard, but he tried not to show it to the public. He still wanted to be a hero, but he also didn't want leave Kat parent-less. Luckily around this time, Gatekeeper, one of his friends from "back in the day" and the current principal of Sakura High offered him a position as the gym teacher. Troy accepted the position and spent the last 6 years teaching and has occasionally done hero work if something was "going down" near him.

    Quirk: Werecat
    Quirk explanation:
A quirk that gives the owner feline characteristics (like fur, claws, and a tail). The person with this quirk has superhuman agility, superhuman senses, sharp claws, nightvision, and a slow healing factor. The quirk is more about precision and finesse than raw power. The healing factor doesn't heal instantaneous, but it does heal injuries faster than a normal person's immune system and slows down the aging process.

    Relationship:
    - Troy has a strong and loving relationship with his daughter, Kat.
    - He generally tries to be on friendly terms with other heroes and faculty members; he knows some of the current faculty from "back in the day."

    Other:
    - He has clawed gauntlets as support items. They let him cut through metal and make slashes in the air. They have an 80s punk aesthetic.
