BLUE DRAGON HIGH
青 龍
The students of this School have the tightest moral code of all the gangs. Their ideals are truth and peace through nature, and many of them are more similar to samurai than ninja. Many of the other gangs call them the Bushido Boys due to their tight and spiritually focused code. Blue Dragons tend to focus on their Chi ability, with many of the members having a better grasp on it due to increased meditation and dedicated time in nature. Their base is a tall pagoda shaped temple in Ascension, East Shima's prettiest and largest garden. Blue Dragon High is one of two schools in Shima that enforces a uniform policy.

  • Zane Acculet

Appearance: Standing at 6’2, Zane is a very solemnly figure. Endless nights of training has contributed to his muscular build. Keeping his plum purple hair at chest length, you could say he takes a bit of pride in the traditional Samurai look. Most of his wardrobe consists of traditional clothing as well as a few dark earthy tones. If you happen to catch a glimpse of his eyes, you will be met with subtle sapphire beauties. Most people haven’t seen him smile, but his presence can be best defined as reserved and irritable.

    Age: 18 Year 4

    Nickname: Zen

    Gender: Male (Sexuality Unknown)

    School: Blue Dragons

Role/Reputation: Zane often isn’t seen in action much at all. He spends most of his time in the shadows and lights of the forest deep in meditation. You could call him one of those shrine guardians for spending so much time around them in prayer. Often called Zen, he is the embodiment of Zen itself. Tranquility and serenity. Or so, he likes to think so. He’s been with the Dragons since his 2nd year of High School. After that he has a simple reputation of being rather aloof.

Combat Abilities: If fights can be avoided, Zane would rather have it as such. But don’t confuse him with someone who doesn’t enjoy fights. Ah yes, using his trusty Katanas he is a force to be reckoned with. He excels in close combat, where he can utilize the space around him with ease. The further the distance, the more variables enter the battle, which can become quite a hassle he believes. Without the use of his katanas, he relies on his chi or other objects to do damage. Fight with his fists? He would rather not, and generally disappears into the shadows if he is faced with no other option. To fight with one’s own hands and feet requires a sort of barbaric nature, which is totally “un-zen” and “un-clean”.

Chi Ability: Motion Sickness is Zane’s chi. By touching a person, a temporary ailment of motion sickness is ensued upon the victim. The motion sickness is so strong it prevents a person from being able to walk without feeling like throwing up. The effect generally wears off within an hour. Unfortunately, this is a big reason why others try to stay away from him. Though he has the power to choose when to release his chi, often he finds it amusing to watch others struggle a bit.

Weaknesses: The major weakness in his chi is that it doesn’t prevent the person from performing attacks idly. Another big weakness of his is not being comfortable with using his own body to fight. He must always be using objects around him, otherwise he won’t fight. He can use defensive maneuvers, but don’t expects him to be landing any punches. His obsession with cleanliness also gets in the way at times.

    Personality:

Three words could describe Zane Acculet. Those are Animal Lover, Neat Freak, and Zen Wannabe.

On the Outside: Tranquility is the name of the game here. That’s right, Zane plays that serene figure. He is that guy that everyone knows is there, but doesn’t really see. One moment you could be alone, and the next you have a Zane popping up out of nowhere to put his two cents in. Being the embodiment of Zen calls for order and symmetry. Everything in Zane’s life must be symmetrical and clean. The body must be pure and evils thoughts closed and locked away. Fights should be carried out only for the good of others. Revenge is but a desirable evil. Zane is blunt but proper, if he insults someone he offers a humble compliment along with it. Zane believes evil acts are actually excusable as long as they are carried out alongside a kind act.

On the Inside: Zane isn’t all that Zen, and if he had to be honest with himself, he would admit that he harbors many dark secrets. One of them being that he actually believes in the act of revenge, and that he enjoys seeing others fall from his chi or blade. Order must be served, and harmony is clearly impossible amongst all the gangs. Though he won’t let onto that belief. His love for animals carries throughout his stature, and it is not a lie. Zane would stop mid battle to save a kitten from crossing the road. He would stop freaking traffic for a snail. Yes, he is that hard core. Zane is also a very irritable soul despite going about his day in a calm and reserved manner. That’s right. His Zen-tality is a lie! Everyone deserves to be punished! But of course don’t forget to leave a Hershey Kiss after the deed is done, otherwise that is completely wrongful and evil. Zane speaks very little, but he actually enjoys conversations with others. He doesn’t respond to contact very well, as he is completely a neat freak and if you touch him he will assume you have tons of germs on your hand and quickly leave to take a shower. Yes….he’s that hard core.

    ~Conversation Time~

“So tell me, what is the deal with carrying out disinfectant napkins around?” –Me

“What man doesn’t carry around hygienic napkins? What if I’m contaminated by what humans call hugs?” –Zane

“Uhmm….that’s not really normal. And hugs are supposed to be comforting?” –Me

“I see your tactics are dangerous. I must prepare for war…excuse me while I leave your presence…” –Zane

“What tac…Wait! What about animals?? Clearly you don’t mind their fur on you!” –Me

“Animals are pure innocent souls. They know not of the word’s evil. Humans manipulate evils very well. I would think you, as a disgusting human are familiar with this. Here’s some chocolate it’s quite delectable.” –Zane

“D-did you just insult me and offer me chocolate? Wait…Zane…Zane where did you go??? Ugh…and my puppy didn’t seem so innocent last night when he jacked my fried chicken off the table!!!” –Me

Back Story: Growing up was quite normal for Zane. Well, until his 14th birthday. Up until then his family had always been supporting of the guy, good grades, never got into trouble. Nobody saw it coming. Yup. The day Zane traded his mom for a toad. Literally. Zane remembers this moment more than anything else in his life. The moment his parents abandoned him. A cloudy day in July, with a light and somber rainfall. He had been out hiking with his father, mother, and little sister. As the rain fell, it was decided they would all pack up for the day. On the way back down from the trail, Zane’s mother had slipped and fell, dangling off the edge of a cliff. Now, Zane was sure her fall wouldn’t be death, it wasn’t that tall. Screaming for his help, Zane had noticed a toad hopping around aimlessly, it did not know there was a cliff just a foot away! It was up to Zane to save the toad, and he stretched his arms out to catch the toad that would have surely died from the fall. Needless to say down went his mother. Next thing you know his mother turned out to be so distraught that she gave him two choices. Go to counseling for his strong love for animals, or move out. Zane chose the second option. That was the last time he ever saw his family. But, no hard feelings, no. Zane doesn’t really get that emotional about stuff not involving animals. He came into the Blue Dragons after running into Tsu during one of his meditation sessions within the woods.

Issac Chiem
"Lei Gong"

e9ce67f753da57a8e4426078cfb2b675.jpg

Appearance

Isaac is a relatively average guy, standing at around 6'0 with spiky black hair (which some people think is because of the electricity around him), fiery crimson eyes with bushy, upturned eyebrows. His uniform is what he normally wears in combat, preferring comfort and formality even when fighting. Unsurprisingly, his uniform is laced with medals and small pins for his academic and athletic achievements. Under his uniform isn't too exciting, just some muscles covered in bandages whenever he has to go to martial arts classes.

Age

17, 4th Year

Sex

Male

School
BLUE DRAGON

Role/Reputation

Isaac is the second in command of the East District. His role around the base is to train other members in martial arts or to meditate. Everyone in the East knows of his real name, but everyone outside refer to him as his nickname. Most culturally clueless people just assume it's his actual name, though it is the same name of the famous Chinese god of lightning and thunder, Lei Gong.

Combat Abilities

Man, Isaac is a beast when it comes to martial arts. Muay Thai, karate, taekwondo, judo, you name it, he's probably practiced it about 3 hours a day. Hand to hand combat is his specialty, though don't expect him to kill or damage you completely. He is against senseless violence and will only hit if needed or provoked. He is not only skilled at hand-to-hand, he is quite proficient at kendo. Isaac is the type of guy to use classics, preferring a single long katana or just using his chi. Isaac is a defensive striker, although quick on his feet, he almost always strikes second.

Chi Ability

Lightning Chi. Isaac has the ability to manipulate lightning or electricity in general. He is able to generate electricity just from the tips of his fingertips or his feet. Like most people from East Shima, Isaac has better control of his chi than most people. He is able to shock and temporarily paralyze other ninjas with the right pressure points. Isaac can vaporize objects if he has enough strength. This ability of his makes him static about 100% of the time. As well, lightning bolts don't hurt him, but make him stronger. He is also a lot faster and quicker on his feet because of his electric chi.

Weaknesses

He cannot help the fact that his sparks enhance the strength of fire. If we are going by pokemon style, his powers have no effectiveness against rocks or any sort of plant chi's. Being as quick as Isaac is in combat, he never pays attention to any other surroundings, focusing on the opponent and the opponent only. He also is very moral when it comes to fighting. Like a traditional knight, he will never hit anybody on the floor, torture them, and only knocks them out when they're standing. Because of his strong moral compass, this allows for "dirtier" players to take advantage of his kindness. Isaac also has a chance of short circuiting in certain situations and might need to "recharge". Isaac isn't the best around at ranged combat, finding it difficult to attack back. Not to mention, he is also easy to anger if you just press all the right buttons.

Personality

Isaac is probably what most people would call the model student. He's just as disciplined as Cato, maybe even more so. He is a total neat freak, his home not a single dust speck out of place. Isaac is also very health conscious, in terms of traditional Vietnamese chi teachings. For example, he balances his food by yin and yang or by the five food elements. Isaac is also in many ways, spiritual in this sense. Issac is a goody-two-shoes, which is quite common around this area. He is the most disciplined of disciplined. Isaac is the type of dude to scold someone for littering, or teach little children karate. He is also known for meditating and practising his chi and his martial arts techniques all the time at the base. Isaac is also helpful and kind to the people in his gang, and unlike most ninjas, he is moral and honourable in the way that he fights. For one, he refuses to attack someone on the ground or refuses to torture someone. In fact, he tends to keep his promises and his vows, even if they may be cumbersome. He is also a hard worker, believing that one can achieve anything through it. Isaac refuses to use vulgar language, though he is one of the more aggressive and ballsy members of the East. Despite the fact he's one of the hard hitters in the gang, he still sees himself as honourable. Isaac feels calmed down with nature like most East students and considers it to be a big part of his life.

Even though the values of the East value calmness and composure, he seems to be the opposite. The only reason Isaac joined the gang is because he feels that the other gangs simply aren't disciplined or moral enough to rule Shima City. This dude actually has like no chill. He is very expressive and intense in his manner of speech and is ruled by his emotions a lot more often than you would think. Isaac is extremely passionate when it comes to things that he deems important or something that would trigger him at the moment. He expresses this flow of emotions by getting more enthusiastic or angry than what is considered normal. As angry or as passionate as he can get, Isaac would never consider killing. The most he would ever do is probably knock you to the ground and dismiss you a bit more forcefully and aggressively than normal. Never ever mention the South district or about his parents. He is family oriented, insult them and you are so done.

History

Man, Isaac has some major baggage with the South district. He used to be a more reserved kid, supporting what he believed in from the sidelines. He was raised with traditional Asian values, specifically Vietnamese from his grandparents and his parents. His father was the owner of a fast growing Vietnamese food franchise that eventually expanded all the way to the South district. Basically, most of his family was scattered around Shima and even out of the city. He had a relatively nice childhood, being sheltered from the rough life around his apartment. As a child, he always had a fascination with martial arts in general. Isaac wasn't allowed to go anywhere by himself, so he simply practised inside a cramped apartment.

Since there was a lot of gang violence back in the younger days, Isaac found his father later killed in the middle of a large scale robbery of the franchise. He found his body lying face down at his very own office with masked men surrounding his mother and himself. With a lot of emotions overwhelming him, his lightning chi had come to life. Isaac sporadically began to attack the masked men with lethal lightning bolts. Since he was merely a child, it didn't take them long for the men to restrain Isaac from using his chi. It didn't take them any longer for the men to even attack their mother as well. Luckily, she survived the attack, but she was permanently crippled by the time the police came and rescued them. The poor little boy was taken to his family members in the much more peaceful East District. His family, fearing more dangerous scandal, closed down the franchise to Isaac's dismay. To make Isaac feel more at home, his grandparents had kept the home-run Vietnamese restaurant for him to help out every so often in.

Because of both parent's absence (his father's death, his mother being in rehab due to the paralysis), Isaac remembered his values and the Eastern teachings of his parents and grandparents. Isaac began to gain the motivation to work harder in martial arts and in his academics, though, the boy never forgot about what happened to his parents at the South District. Because of this grudge, he holds a certain contempt for the southern gang. Isaac thinks they are feral, uncivilized beasts and would like nothing more than for anyone other than them to become King District. For this reason, he joined the gang after years of training with his chi and with the fighting in Junior High, he was smoothly accepted into the gang his freshman year. For now, he absolutely refuses to lose a battle between a southerner, and with this, he is training himself along with other ninjas to achieve this goal while still trying to take care of himself and his grandparents at their homely little restaurant.

Zhi "Origami" Feng

ae0193804949ae9438877be2401005be.jpg

Appearance:

Zhi is Chinese, obviously. He has spiky, long jet black hair. Below his head of hair are icy blue eyes, thin, yet expressive eyebrows, an oddly sharp nose and jawline. He's a lean guy, his muscles aren't defined, but you can feel them there. Like most Asian guys, he doesn't gain much fat either, since if he didn't work out, Zhi would just be really skinny. Zhi stands at 5'11, and wears a lot of blue. In fact, I think he kind of looks like a pirate, with the vest and the popped collar and all. But that's what he likes to fight in. He also wears glasses, but his prescription is pretty weak.

Age:

18

4th Year

Sex:

Male

School:

Blue Dragon High

Role/Reputation:

Zhi is kind of a pretentious dude, at least, he seems to act that way. He's known for being extremely competitive when it comes to academics, sword fighting and music. Zhi is like a stereotypical Asian guy, awkward when it comes to emotions, talented in the piano and getting straight As with a dash of competition. He doesn't exercise very much and hates getting his hands dirty, hence the swords. He's also an origami master. In the gang, he's just a regular member and it's no secret that he has a crush on the Dragon leader, Tsu. Known to wipe off the blood on his outfits after every fight.

Combat Abilities:

Sword fighting is his forte. Strong, quick and critical strikes and slashes are what he specializes in. Zhi is nimble and fast, able to run around and end a sword fight in less than 20 strikes. He's also left handed, which means he's able to fight with his right hand and switch to his left to throw people off and attack unexposed areas. Zhi likes mid-range combat and doesn't like fighting from too far or do hand to hand. His preferable weapon of choice is the Dao, with a handle that goes over his knuckle. A special move he has is using that handle, spinning it and watching the chaos ensue. He also carries notebooks to make his job much easier.

blue_dragon_spiral_notebook-r792b954790284502b81a04ea9903dc33_ambg4_8byvr_324.jpg

Chi Ability:

Zhi's chi ability is manipulating, creating and controlling paper. It comes out as a pure white colour, he can conjure up paper from his hands and make it into any shape he wants. He's able to create small cages made of paper. It's quick and fast, making cuts rather easily. Zhi can make them into different shapes and attack people with them. The feeling is similar to a lightweight throwing knife. His chi makes it harder to make paper from his hands, but it is much easier to find paper on his own. For example, he carries around a notebook and pencil. He can also make words onto the piece of paper and send messages to most people. Zhi can make a small paper whirlwinds with his paper. The most favourite shape to make is a paper crane.

Weaknesses:

His chi is weak and easy to defend against if you have a high pain tolerance. He isn't very tanky and can be easy to take down if you're a bulkier person to deal with. Paper can be ripped or burnt easily. Zhi is also pretty squeamish and hates the sight of blood landing on his clothes. Despite how much he hates to admit this, his right hand is a bit weaker than his left. Having glasses can be a huge handicap regarding his vision, if you take them off, things can be a bit blurry. Even still, he has some blind spots when he is wearing them. His defense isn't quite up there, if you are able to hit an area that isn't protected by his sword, he's going down pretty quickly. As well, get him while he has his notebook out.

Personality:

Zhi is competitive, and almost a bit of an elitist. He has high expectations and tends to force them on other people. Zhi is every perfect child, proficient in music, academics and sword fighting. He likes to pretend that he spent no effort trying to be this way. In fact, if it wasn't for his getup and background, Zhi would fit perfectly into the North District. However, he hates snobbishness and prefers the attention to be away from him if possible. Zhi is also rather pragmatic, and isn't the type to be extravagant with his belongings. Clean-cut and dressed properly, he doesn't reveal his weakness. Even though he doesn't reveal much of his personality, he does get rather jealous easily when someone beats him or does better than him. In his spare time, he listens to classical music and likes to be alone amongst nature. Though he would deny this, he has a tiny crush on Tsu and is a bit of a tsundere when it comes to love and friendship. Once he beats someone in anything, he's not going to stop rubbing it in, however. Zhi is also a bit of an insane artist, impassioned as all hell when it comes to music, origami and all mediums of art. He's also a huge perfectionist and gets pretty anal if you don't do things his way. True to the meaning of his name, he can be rather critical of other's and himself and has a sensitive ego.

Backstory:

Zhi's family has had ties to the Blue Dragons for as long as he can remember. He's never had much to struggle about, but his parents did put pressure on him to excel in most platforms whenever he could. He didn't have many friends as a kid, since most of the things he enjoyed were solo activities. Zhi was taught to control his chi and harness it at a young age like most of the Dragons, giving him more of an advantage that way. His father also taught him to specialize in a weapon, being the Chinese sword. During initiation, he saw Tsu as a first year challenging and winning a second year in a duel, and let's just say, dude was pretty impressed. Zhi followed in the steps of his family and won the initiation duel. The rest was basically history. He's also a bit jealous that Isaac was appointed to be the second in command and not him, though he does admire the man's talent and strengths and his ability to stay strong and composed.

Other:

they'll always find you

~ Depending on what Leon eats, his appearance may change. For example, if he ate a goldfish, he would grow small scales along his body, and his eyes would switch up in appearance. Don't forget the cool gills. ~

~ There isn't any special meaning behind it, but since it's a notable feature, I'll put it here. Not that you can't see it in his pictures, or anything. Anyways, his hair is cut in a way that it covers his right eye. ~

~ Leon's sabre claws are kept holstered to his belt. ~

A P P E A R A N C E

Leon, overall, just looks like a very normal guy. His complexion is very clean and sort of pale, but nothing to gape about. He's not, like, albino or anything. I'd say he's actually kind of attractive, but it depends on the person. Some people find him too plain-looking... too dull. His expression is almost always the same, except for when he's expressing irritation. He's either nonchalant or frustrated. Which, I mean, he does smile... but no one ever really notices because of how faint it is. He's a tall guy, standing at exactly 6 feet, and can be described as lanky, whereas the removal of his clothes could prove that he's actually quite toned. His dark-blue hair is cut to where most of it lays over his right eye... Mmh~ Leon's eyes. Leon has pretty eyes, purple like Emelia's, but darker in tint - his are also much smaller. As for his notable posture, he keeps his back straight and his head held high... shoulder back, you know how it goes. He also keeps a holster around his waist, which is meant to hold his sabre blades.

R E P U T A T I O N

Leon isn't very popular at school - nor is he very well known around his district. He lacks communication. With him being fairly new to the gang, several people are still unaware that he's even a member... only those who aren't directly affiliated, anyways. He's quite intelligent and keeps straight A's, but doesn't really use it to any advantage other than when playing chess or correcting someone, which are things he really enjoys. At school, he's a member of the Student Council, but even there he's still not favored in any special way. He's just that guy with the really long name.

P E R S O N A L I T Y

Leon is a dull, level-headed, intelligent, and humble person who doesn't really talk much unless he truly feels the need to say something, and most of the time what he has to say is either informative or meant to correct someone. He doesn't communicate with others on matters involving himself, preferring to talk about anything other than so - not that he has anything to hide. It just feels weird talking about oneself. He's observant and a good listener, but doesn't take to talking people through their problems. When it comes to showing emotions, Leon considers them quite pointless. He doesn't like when people show how clearly upset they are, then when asked what's wrong, they just shoo everyone away. Typical females. It makes no sense to him, but he never says anything about it. When those he care about seem down, rather than trying to talk with them about their feelings, Leon will try to cheer them up with heartfelt actions. Though he comes off as bland and exaggeratedly disciplined, he takes pleasure in making others smile. During his free time, he wastes away reading novels and playing chess. Unknowingly at times, when on the topic of something he's interested in, he'll appear unusually enthusiastic about it and ramble on and on about everything he knows having to do with said topic; mainly things like documentaries, historic films and books, chess, etc. Leon's a bit of a nerd. He's not big on fighting, but doesn't go without taking pride in a win here and there, and losing isn't all that bad either as long as you give it your all. One thing about Leon is his tendency to sound like a total jerk when he's talking, but the last thing he's ever trying to do is piss someone off. Even when he's joking, people don't know how to take him... not that he jokes often, so when he actually does it's a given one might not know it. Another thing about this fish-boy, nickname credited to the Spectres, is that he despises being in dept to people. Leon never asks for help, but doesn't mind to lend someone else a hand. Like I said though, not so much with their feelings, but more so with carrying something or walking an elderly woman across the street. If someone does something for him, he must return the favor, or else he's left on edge.

A B I L I T I E S

Leon has grown up training under the likes of a Ving Tsun instructor named Yeung Kai-Lee. Ving Tsun is a concept-based Chinese martial art and form of self-defense utilizing both striking and grappling while specializing in close-range combat. He finds ways to disorient his opponent before performing quick, continuous punches to targeted pressure points, very rarely reverting to the help of his sabre claws out of not actually wanting to hurt people to the point of no recovery. He's very quick and agile, but his blows aren't as solid as he'd like them to be. Luckily, what he lacks in brute strength, he makes up for in speed (nothing comparable to Vladimir). His chi ability allows him the capability of consuming any given matter (Matter Ingestion). It doesn't matter what it is... Leon can eat it. His stomach is like a bottomless pit. He never feels full, but does feel hungry like any normal human. There's also him being able to morph with any abnormal item he's eaten. If it's not naturally edible, Leon's body will find some way to merge with the consumed matter. Other than that... he can eat some really good noodles and for the rest of two hours or so, his saliva will taste exactly like those noodles (*lenny* *shot*). That's hot. Before I forget, Leon's sabre claws act as boomerangs~ If he throws one, it'll come right back to him. With Leon's ability to consume any given matter comes the benefit of being able to bite through anything as well. He can just bite into a metal pole and it'll cripple as if it were just a cracker, but if he tried to break a metal pole in half... not much would happen.

W E A K N E S S E S

Once again, here we have another one of my characters who is only human!... Though, I guess that all depends on what he's eaten (*reflects back on fish-boy*). Anyways, Leon can be crushed and cut, burned and bruised, and everything else of the likes. He. Is. Only. Human. In close combat, he relies on speed more so than strength. One punch from him isn't all that much, which is why he comes out with several at a time, targeting pressure points to cause lingering pain. You know when your dad comes along and tries to tickle you, then ten seconds later you're suddenly hurting... it kind of works like that. The limit of which how long Leon can morph with digested matter is only two hours. Once those two hours are up, anything abnormal about him will immediately revert back to normal. Also, Leon has no control over the effects consumed matter have on him. He never knows what might happen. Overall, his ability is somewhat useless, and he's not the biggest fan of it.

B A C K S T O R Y

Leon was born in Italy with his mother the gold digger thanks to a horrible debt her husband left behind. Did he die? No. He just up and ran away, never to return. Leon's father had always had a bit of a gambling problem. It got really bad at one point, in which he was constantly pawning their personal belongings. He would even sell Leon's baby toys. One day, when Leon was around four, though, his mother woke up to find a letter stating he had to go. The woman didn't really care. She was sick of having to clean up his messes, anyways. She was finally free - or so she had thought so. The bastard, as I said, left behind his debt. They learned of this the hard way.

People were constantly beating down the door in search of Leon's dad, and even when they'd explain that he was no longer around, the people continued demanding their money back. It was just a big pain in the ass. So, with this, the boy's mother remarried to a fairly wealthy man, but was only divorced once he discovered of her intentions. Each new husband that came never lasted long, and by the time Leon was twelve, his mother had already been married four times... and their debt still remained. Like... what the fuck was his dad doing? How many people did he owe money too. I laugh at his stupidity.

Anyways, when the day people broke into their home and stole everything they owned came along, Leon and his mother were forced to move in with a friend of his mom's. These people had six children and lived in one of the smallest houses Leon had ever seen. It was a nightmare to him. He had always preferred silence, spending most of his free time behind closed doors to read historical novels and do homework, watch documentaries, etc. At night, he was forced to sleep in the floor. If he was lucky, one of the kids would stay over at a friend's house, in which he was allowed to take the couch for the moment.

It wasn't even a year after living there when Leon's mom lost her job, though, and they were kicked out of her friend's house because they could no longer help out and pay rent. After all, those people had kids of their own to take care of. Next thing you know, Leon and his mom were homeless and out on the streets with nowhere else to go. They lived off of pocket change for a few days, and everything just seemed like it would never get any better again. Leon was hungry. His mother was hungry. The boy eventually grew sick from dehydration and lack of nutrients - and he began to hallucinate. He came to only to find himself eating some of the most random things, things that normal people should not be able to consume.

Leon never told his mother about this. He played it off like it was just a dream. I mean, he felt fine so it was okay, right? Eventually a friendly Chinese man offered that Leon and his mom stay with him in his dojo upon spotting them on the streets one day. The man's name was Yeung Kai-Lee; he was a Ving Tsun instructor, and ended up teaching Leon how to fight just for the hell of it. Day by day they grew closer, and day by day Leon's mother worked towards getting back on her feet - not that she had fallen very far. All she needed was to find herself another man. She just needed to get her mojo back, and that's exactly what she did.

For the fifth time, his mother had wedded, and they left the dojo to move in with the man. Even after this, Leon continued to visit the dojo on a regular basis. He would go there as soon as school let out, and stayed until the sun went down. Often, he would even spend the night. A time came when the boy randomly decided he was going to let his mother in on his little secret - the fact that he could somehow consume whatever it is he wanted without being harmed. He could drink bleach and be perfectly fine. He could swallow a knife and bite through metal. None of it ever phased him. Thinking she'd be understanding about it was a mistake on Leon's part.

When he revealed his abilities to his mom, she grew disgusted. It was inhuman and just straight up weird. One night, she made him show his fifth step-father, and when he did, the both of them came to the decision that Leon had to leave. Originally it was only the father's idea, and his mom was a little hesitant, but she wanted even less to be thrown out on the streets again. So, with that, Leon packed his bags and left home. He wandered around aimlessly for a while before heading to Yeung's dojo to sleep for the night. When he woke up, the man had a breakfast made.

He asked Leon to join him, and from there they grew lost in casual conversation until Yeung finally asked what was going on, in which Leon explained. The crazy thing about this was that Yeung knew exactly what was happening to the boy. He had what were called chi abilities. Yeung had them as well. He demonstrated his own abilities, and Leon was astounded. He had so many questions to ask, and little by little Yeung answered them. He explained Shinobi City to the boy and the four gangs. This put the idea of going to that city in Leon's head... The only problem was how he would get there. He would need a job to earn money for a plane ticket, but there was so much more to it than that. Where would he live in such an enormous city?

Well, Yeung had just the answer for that! You see, Yeung was actually born and raised in Shinobi City. The only reason he'd moved away was to train normal children to defend themselves... but hey! Things change, and Yeung liked Leon! So, what do you know, the elderly man agreed to house the boy in Shinobi City. The two moved together, and Leon has been living in yet another dojo belonging to Yeung since. He continues to train on a daily basis, and has developed an issue with being in debt to people. Only recently did he join the Blue Dragons as a means to fit in with the city's ways, taking quite an interest in their peace-upholding law and strict morals.

~ Nixon actually has a lot of notable features about him... first off, he's easy to spot in large crowds because of his stylish hairdo, which is actually naturally gray. It's got black highlights all in it because he likes to stand out. ~

~ It's random, but one can tell when standing close to him, especially if you're Keimi, that he wears a really strong scented cologne. It doesn't smell bad, though. ~

~ Unless he's at school, Nixon is always carrying his bag around with him. He needs it if he wants to make sure enough ammo and whatnot is brought along for battle. His gun stays in it, too, so there's that. ~

~ Again, his hair is pretty crazy, but there are also his enormous eyebrows. They're thick as can be, and look like two giant mountains growing on his forehead. ~

~ He has a mask that he likes to wear during combat, but if he wants to use his chi he has to take it off... sadly. ~

A P P E A R A N C E

Nixon is a fairly attractive teenage boy, standing firmly at around 5'11" 1/2, with his hair adding on about an inch and a half more when done up, equaling up to 6'1". He's well in shape and has a nicely clean and peachy complexion. His ears are somewhat pointy at the tips, and always visible thanks to the way he wears his hair. With the use of gel and spray, Nixon spikes his hair up on all sides of his head, and has also put black dye in it to give himself more of an interesting appearance. He likes to stand out. His eyes are very round in shape and a hazel brown in color. You might also notice the thinness of his pupils. In addition to these few distinguishing features, there are his eyebrows, which are very bushy and come to a pointy arch - looking kind of like he has two grey mountains growing up on his forehead.

R E P U T A T I O N

Nixon is a well-enjoyed member of the Blue Dragons. He talks to anyone and everyone no matter who they are. Towards rivaling gangsters, he treats them just as he would any other person. Some might know him for being a Literary Club member at school, but most know him for his affiliation with the Blue Dragons as one of their members. The guy is always telling people all sorts of silly little stories, and often narrates other people's lives, even when they can straight-up hear him doing it. He doesn't care. Some people find him annoying, but overall, he's very friendly as long as you're not insulting him.

P E R S O N A L I T Y

Nixon is a very enthusiastic, athletic, confident, and honest guy. These are only his pros, however. When looking at his cons, one might describe him as absentminded, childish, and clumsy. He's also a bit ill-mannered and something of a hot-head, but never lets it get the best of him. Having grown up with his mother, who's a professional author, he takes deep interest in books and storytelling. When he's really into a new book, it takes but five hours for him to finish it, and I'm talking about some big books. His reading skills are an ability of their own, I mean it. Of course... he has to read non-stop for those five hours, but at least he takes enjoyment in it, right? Nixon is very easily entertained. Shooting army men with rubber bands even gets his adrenaline pumping. He just knows how to make the best out of utterly simple things. When life isn't going well, he's one to hold his head up and wait it out, believing very strongly that things are meant to get worse before they get better. With each notable accomplishment, Nixon rewards himself by buying a new book. He also never backs down from a fight unless participating in one will undoubtedly bring trouble to others. If there are innocent people who go unable to defend themselves, he'll assure their safety before going all out on his opponent. While it's a good thing that he's honest... he can sometimes be too honest, which may regrettably hurt someone's feelings. Nixon is clumsy and absentminded, but can be a great help when he puts his mind to it. Even with his paintball gun being his only means of fighting from a distance, which is what he prefers because his chi is just sort of difficult to grasp, he still manages to forget about it and leave it lying in places where it can very easily get stolen. He really enjoys telling stories to people as a way to make them smile, though, some of the stories in his library for a mind are kind of spooky, and others really sad. Nixon doesn't like when his storytelling abilities, or stories and literature in general, are insulted - Call it his number one trigger effect. Being an airhead and a bit childish, despite looking somewhat manly, he doesn't react to flirtatious and sexual remarks like most would. He doesn't really understand them. If someone were to confess to him by simple means like: "I love you." He'll just smile and say he loves them too.

A B I L I T I E S

While he's learned a lot about hand-to-hand combat within the couple of years he's been in Shinobi City, often seeking out the more talented members of the gang to give him some pointers, Nixon prefers fighting from a distance using his Assault Matrix Paintball Gun. He's more of a teamwork kind of guy, but going alone in battle works too. He also refuses to fight until he knows, for a fact, that the safety of civilians is first assured. His wonderful, handy dandy chi grants him the ability of controlling the temperature of his body, which can reach above and below dangerous for the average human being. He can only get as hot as 300 degrees (average stove medium), and as cold as 10 degrees Fahrenheit. And in order to go any higher or lower, he must be making contact with another object of the desired temperature, but this can be risky. With his gun, Nixon can either boil the paint in his ammo, or freeze it to make the little projectiles blistering hot or stinging cold. While freezing makes them hard, the gun does not have enough power and force behind it to shoot through flesh, but they may potentially break a person's nose or fingers. All it takes is proper aim. Benefits for fighting up close consist of being able to heat his body to its max temperature and burn those who try landing a punch. With this sort of ability, Nixon goes without the worry of being burned by natural hots and colds, meaning cold winds and the hot sun don't effect him because his body will instinctively match up with the temperature. He doesn't sweat either.

W E A K N E S S E S

While natural hots and colds don't really effect Nixon, anything imbued with chi can. Jason's fire will burn him (within time) because its temperature is above Nixon's maximum. This also applies to Aidan's ice. However, there's a trick to this too... For as long as he can hold out, Nixon's body will match the temperature of the given heat. This is pretty helpful for reducing the pain he feels, but after so long his skin will begin to blister and actually burn. Once again, this goes for Aidan's freezing powers as well. His body will match the cold temperature, but eventually he'll experience frostbite as any normal human would. Which, I mean... he can always just counter them by changing his own temperature to the polar opposite of Jason or Aidan's chi. Just know that it takes longer for him to burn and freeze thanks to his abilities. Aside from these and normal human weaknesses, Nixon has not yet grasped full control over his chi. His emotions sometimes get in the way, in which sadness equals to cold and anger equals to hot. And again, his limits are as high as 300 degrees and as low as 10 degrees Fahrenheit. That's like... 148 degrees and -12 degrees Celsius.

B A C K S T O R Y

Nixon Thorn, born in the state of New Jersey, is the son of a well-renowned author; his mother. He grew up without his father, who had left his mom upon discovering she was pregnant with Nixon. They were both only teenagers, and his dad at the time only wanted to party and do his own thing rather than care for a snot-nosed child. Sharron is his mother's name (pen name is N.P. Sharron), by the way, with his father's being Patrick. Throughout the years, it was always just Nixon and his mother - no one else. The two did everything together. At night, whenever Sharron was feeling down and lonely, or if she had a case of the writer's block, she would crawl her tiny self up into Nixon's crib and just lay there with him. Best friends, they were. In elementary school, the boy did what he was told, stuck to himself, and during his free time he would read - what he was capable of reading, that is.

Later on, as he got a little older, is when he took up interest in his mother's work. His vocabulary was always more advanced compared to the other students, but he never actually talked to any of them. He just stayed quiet and waited until he was home to tell his mother about everything that went on. Often times, Nixon's mom stayed up late at night to drink herself to sleep. He didn't mind the drinking, but he always felt a little upset as to why she was drinking - it was because she still longed for stupid Patrick. Nixon asked about his dad a lot, so he knew how she felt about him. At one point, he just stopped bringing the man up all together because he grew confused as to whether or not thinking of him made her happy or sad; it was, of course, sad. It's like... he had that selfish little side of him where he just wanted to look at her and ask why he wasn't good enough, but from some books he'd read, he could sort of picture how she felt.

It wasn't long after entering into his last year of middle school when there was a knock on the door that led to a great switch in the funky-haired boy's life. Well, his hair was fairly normal back then. At the time, Sharron wasn't home and was out at a book signing meet, so Nixon was the one to answer, only to find a taller him standing there on the door step, with more of a buzz cut-type hair-do though. The boy knew right away that this guy was Patrick, his father, and he allowed him right in, feeling sort of confused, but his personality wouldn't allow him not to be nice. They both sat for a while in awkward silence until Nixon decided to tell him a Chinese folktale about a man named Ch'uan Ju-Yu, titled A Visit To Hell. Patrick was a little taken back by the title at first, but listened through the whole thing, as well as a few more after that until Sharron finally returned home.

The woman looked like she had seen a ghost upon spotting her former partner. In fact, Patrick was the only person Sharron had ever been with. She was always one of those people who had this big ideal relationship; she was a romantic to better put it. Within due time, Patrick had become a main character in Nixon's story for a life. Sharron unknowingly stopped paying the boy much attention, but Nixon didn't mind because she had also stopped drinking and seemed so happy. Patrick didn't talk much with him either. Nixon just couldn't adjust quite as nicely as he wanted to. He felt lonely - something he hadn't ever really experienced before because his mother was always there. I mean, yeah, she was still there at the time... but it's like there was this giant wall growing between them with the boy's middle name just plastered right across it. He knew that name was actually his dad's, though...

During the time Sharron and Patrick were together again, Sharron stopped writing altogether, which was quite shocking for Nixon. He didn't like that at all. There were times when his parents stayed out until he fell asleep, then they would even leave before he woke up, so he would go up to what felt like an eternity without seeing his mother. It was everything but pleasant... Sometimes Nixon just wished to himself that Patrick would walk out the front door and never come back. However, when that did happen... he somewhat regretted it. It was a snowy night when his mother came home in a fit of tears and laughter, soaked in her own vomit and what smelled like alcohol, only proven to be upon seeing the liquor bottle in her hand. Nixon had just returned moments before that from the library because he didn't want to be home alone while his mom and Patrick went on another one of their everlasting dates.

The guy didn't even have a job - so clearly his mother's royalties were paying for their dinners. Anyways, Nixon helped his mother to her bed to let her get some rest for the night, questions racing through his mind as to what had happened. It was the worst he'd ever seen her before. Sharron started going on and on about how she knew it was a mistake, originally directing her words towards the absent Patrick, but when Nixon asked her what was a mistake, his mother claimed that he, her only son, was the mistake. She began to raise her voice at the boy, declaring that everything was all his fault. She drunkenly explained through sobs and screams everything that had happened on their little date - Patrick had decided to leave because even to that day he wasn't comfortable with being a father, and that he said he didn't like how much he and Nixon resembled one another.

Sharron stated that if she hadn't had a son, Patrick never would have left her in the first place. The boy was utterly shocked at these words. He just stood in awe as his tiny mother threw herself up off the bed and started trying to hit him... being drunk and all only led to her stumbling around and tripping over her own breath, then she eventually just slumped over and Nixon laid her back down before leaving the room. He was pissed. He stormed out of the house and raced down the streets to find Patrick, well aware that he'd be boarding a bus if he hadn't already. It was more of a gut feeling, actually, but it was a damn good one because, what do you know, there stood the Nixon look-alike. Little did Nixon know at the time that his anger that night would lead to a whole knew lifestyle. Once within arms reach of his father, Nixon tackled the man and wrapped two blistering-hot hands around his neck, choking him with everything he had and screaming in his face that he would regret hurting his mother...

Shit, Patrick was already regretting it - what with the third degree burns he now wears around wherever he may be now. Shortly after this, Nixon was taken down to the police station and locked away until his mother came stumbling in, still drunk off her ass, asking where he was, only to be thrown in for the night as well. The two, both mother and son, sat beside each other in silence until one of them started to laugh, causing the other to laugh as well. Next thing you know, everyone else in the room was just sort of staring at the pair as tears streamed down their faces because they couldn't stop with the hysterics. Nixon mentioned that the incident would make for a good story, and his mother agreed.

The next day, the two went and visited Patrick in the hospital, and that's where an officer explained to the boy what had happen, about what was happening to him. Nixon was just confused when the woman, the officer, told him that he was the cause for those burns. He didn't remember much of it all because of how fast it had happened, but he was damn well sure enough that he didn't have any sort of weapons on him. Then came the mentioning of Shinobi City and the four districts with their rivaling gangs. Within that moment, Nixon and Sharron knew exactly where they were headed. Now look at them. Sharron is back up and writing again while Nixon is now a member of the infamous Blue Dragons.

~ She has dark circles beneath her eyes. ~

~ Her hairs seems as though it's never brushed or kept up with. ~

~ Aside from her hideous appearance, Brook is always carrying her satchel around with her. Inside it are her many needed utensils; you know, pencils and other things of the sort. Oh, don't forget her PsP either. ~

A P P E A R A N C E

Brooklyn is... not the most beautiful tree in the forest. Probably the only person who'd ever find her attractive is Chikage. She's very small and fragile, not in shape at all. Just by looking at her you can tell she's almost completely useless. Her pitch black hair is almost never brushed, and her eyes are just freaky big. Call her frog eyes, if you must. They have a pretty color to them (teal), though, but that's overlooked due to the heavy bags and dark circles beneath them, hinting at a lack of sleep or something. You'd also think she starves herself upon seeing her shirtless. The girl's poor ribs stick out like a sore thumb. Brooklyn, altogether, comes of as a nervous wreck by the way she constantly trembles and cowers at everything. She also has a very boring sense of style.

R E P U T A T I O N

Brook is known mostly for her dreadful appearance, but also for her artistic skills. She's not a high ranking member within the Blue Dragons but gets along well with everyone. Most people avoid her because they think she's some depressed emo. She's also known for being terrified of everything and having out of the ordinary panic attacks - where she'll either pass out or curse everyone around. Brooklyn's favorite gang member is Cielo, who she can usually be seen following around. They're sort of like partners in crime... despite Brook being drug into said crime against her will.

P E R S O N A L I T Y

Brooklyn is generally a nice person, but she's also a freak - always terrified of every little thing. If someone were to walk up behind her and give a simple tap on the shoulder, she'd flip out. She doesn't get much sleep at night because of her obsession with drawing, anime, manga, watching TV, and anything else that takes her mind off the demons in her closet, I guess. She always assumes people are out to get her. One moment, Brooklyn could be thinking to herself that everyone's about to die and the earth is slowly falling out of orbit, in which everyone will freeze within .1 second - then she could be wondering what her mom's making for dinner. There's just no end to it. She often goes into little panic attacks where she ends up cursing everyone, wishing death upon them, but calms down really fast. Brook is also terrified of fighting. She will do everything she can to talk her opponent down or run away, but when cornered she's like a little Chihuahua. She likes to think that everyone is her friend and enjoys helping people out, but might also suddenly assume they're trying to pull her into some underground organization, in which she'll be kidnapped and tortured for money she doesn't know the whereabouts of, then she'll claim the person to be evil and run away. She looks like a quiet girl, but can actually talk your ear off so don't underestimate her.

A B I L I T I E S

Brooklyn literally has no notable fighting skills, other than her mighty dodging and fleeing abilities. She's just overall a giant coward. However, you could say her chi ability makes up for this... depending on how she uses it. If she weren't as artistically skilled as she is, she would be totally screwed. Brook's chi grants her the ability to bring whatever artwork, be it a drawing or a painting, of hers to life. Pretty cool, right? Yeah, but she's still the biggest coward ever born. Anyways, in order to do this, Brooklyn must leave her signature on her drawing, then rip out the page in her doodle-book. Whatever is drawn on the torn out page will immediately come to life, and depending on how much detail is applied, her works will be stronger. Just a simple sketch is as easy as stepping on a bug to take out, but something she takes out the time to color and bring to life on paper without even actually using her chi will be much stronger when put into play.

W E A K N E S S E S

Hand-to-hand combat is her overall, number one, weakness. Brooklyn is screwed if she isn't properly distanced from her opponent. It does her well to draw something before going into battle because you can't really draw and run for your life at the same time and expect the art to come out looking as desired - it's just not possible. She also cannot bring artwork that is not her own to life. It must have her signature on it, too. Anything resulting in the removal of her signature from her drawings, or even just a simple scratch to it, will automatically force her drawing back into a sheet of paper. Also, unless her art is drawn in a book or painted on a canvas, it will not come to life no matter what, so you could say her supplies are limited. Brooklyn can only use one sheet of paper for each individual drawing, and is currently restricted to 5 drawings a day until properly rested.

B A C K S T O R Y

Brooklyn was born and raised, until the age of five, in Austin, Texas with both a mother and father. They were a loving and caring couple who never fought or argued, and did everything in their power to raise their daughter how they saw fit. However, when they first discovered they'd be having a child, abortion was the mother's first solution. She didn't believe she was ready for such a responsibility, but her husband eventually talked her out of what she now understands as a dodged mistake. Up until the girl turned four years old, she was so cheerful and energetic, always asking silly little questions that usually annoy most adults, but then something changed in her... and for absolutely no reason at all, too. Brooklyn just started developing this strange fear of everything.

It got even worse as she grew older, in which she was living in Italy by then. Around five years of age, Brook's father, who was a professional sculptor, was offered a job working for a very wealthy man. The condition was that they needed to move to Italy, and, of course, that's what they did. While it seemed like a good idea at first, the father failed to mention he'd be living under the man's roof rather than with his family. Brooklyn and her mother were given their own home, where all bills were paid off for them. Yeah, I mean... that's a pretty dope deal, but it wasn't worth growing up unable to spend a lot of time with her dad. She'd always followed in his footsteps.

The days that Brooklyn was able to see her father meant short trips to nearby museums and eating out at fancy restaurants; though, she always brought her own food with her. If it wasn't cooked in front of her, she feared eating it. There was something about the art she saw that piqued her interest. Thus led to the girl discovering she had a natural talent for drawing and painting, but mostly drawing. She didn't actually start messing with paints until after moving to Shinobi City after her mother and father split up. Talk about devastated. The hardest thing Brooklyn has ever had to do in her life was choose between her parents, in which her first choice had been her father, but the deal he had working for the wealthy man made that impossible unless he were to quit.

Living in Shinobi City was dreadful in the beginning. It's one thing to be a new student, at a new school, in a completely new place when you're pretty and able to make friends easily... but Brooklyn was literally the exact opposite, and her skittish personality just got even worse throughout time. There wasn't really a reason for them moving to a place rumored to be dangerous and unfit for normal people, other than the fact that Brook's mother secretly has chi abilities... she doesn't know this. Slowly, the girl began noticing what was so different about the place... the people could do such amazing things. They were so unique... Grant it, it was kind of terrifying, and she felt the need to stay away from them until she found herself experimenting with her art one day out of curiosity. She wondered if she had the so called 'chi abilities' too, and automatically assumed hers would have some sort of relation to her artistic abilities - and what do you know? They did.

For an entire year, every day after school, Brooklyn stayed up in her room without coming out. She just drew. Remember me mentioning that she only picked up painting after moving to the city? Well, she did that too. This was her way of practicing, or training... there was no true physical activity, which is why she's so small and frail, as well as easily fatigued. All of the time she's spent cooped up by herself, never really interacting with other people, is also what led to her worsening anxiety and panic disorder. It wasn't until after secretly watching Tsu Sun win duels from afar that she decided to join the Blue Dragons - only out of admiration for the elder.

~ Well... for one, she's absolutely gorgeous! However... everyone's got their little flaws, and one of Holly's happens to be her stretch marks from when she was overweight. ~

~ Her hair is absolutely fabulous. ~

~ She literally always has her ribbon wand on hand. Often, it's rolled up and stuffed down between her breasts so have fun trying to steal it from her - not that her boobs are that big, or anything. ~

A P P E A R A N C E

Holly Radcliffe is described by most as drop. dead. gorgeous. She's got it all: the perfect hair - long and glossy, reaching all the way past her buttocks; it's an orange color... I wonder what you call those. Anyways, she's got the perfect complexion, a nice figure, beautiful olive-brown eyes with magnificent and bold eyelashes. I feel like I'm writing a advertisement script. And don't forget her sick sense of fashion - sick in the good way. However! Her personality may sometimes put her off as the utmost hideous person among the Blue Dragons, whereas she considers herself the most beautiful. Holly has a little secret, though, guys... She used to be fat. Well, she used to be chubby. Because of the stretch marks left over, the girl refuses to ever get naked in front of others or wear anything that may potentially reveal these scars. She finds them embarrassing and covers up with concealing, but form-fitting, clothes.

R E P U T A T I O N

Holly is known for being somewhat wealthier than most people at school, but she's nothing in comparison to those from the North District. She is very stylish and obsessed with her hair, never allowing anyone to touch it, and is also known for being something of a total bitch to other girls at school. In the gang, she's very obedient and does everything she's told to do, exactly how she's told to do it. However, her personality makes her somewhat unbearable at times. She's just one of those girls everyone wants to sock in the face once or twice to prove a point. Her chi abilities also prove her to be the perfect distraction.

P E R S O N A L I T Y

Holly comes from one of the wealthier families in the East District. She looks like she'd be a nice and compassionate kind of girl, but once you get to know her better, you'll come to realize she's just a stuck-up perfectionist with a major superiority complex. If someone around her is being praised, she suddenly feels the need to either contradict what's been said, or just straight up go into detail about what she would've done instead as though it'd have been so much better. When she was younger, she experienced a tremendous amount of jealousy towards her older sister who got the guy she'd always crushed on in middle school, and also developed a major disliking towards people of the North District because of her gymnastics instructor. These are the sort of incidents that led to her losing weight. Holly is a very jealous girl. Anything she doesn't have, she wants. When it comes to romantic interests, only guys work because she has this natural hate for other females, feeling as though they're all rivals or opponents. She must be the prettiest. Her hair must be the longest and softest. She's all about her - Everything revolves around Holly. Compliments towards her are usually not returned, and she most often replies with snooty remarks like "I know." or "Well, duh." and things of that nature. However... despite these negative traits, she follows along with what she's told to do, leading to her perfectionism. If Tsu asks for her assistance, Holly will 1. be absolutely flattered, and 2. pay very close attention to what she was asked to do, trying her damnedest to hit everything right on the mark. She's a very quick learner, hence how she was able to grasp control of her chi abilities on such a short notice and bump her grades up to perfection within just a couple of weeks. She is also very easily distracted by a cute face. Pretty boys are her everything, and she absolutely refuses to get married to someone who doesn't stand out.

A B I L I T I E S

Holly's chi grants her the capability of increasing or decreasing the effect her presence has on any given person. This means that she can either stand right beside someone without them noticing her at all, almost as though she's invisible, by decreasing her presence, or she may increase it to the point that people cannot look away. That is, of course, unless pain is inflicted on them. These abilities allow her to play as a decoy to distract others, but she can also be quite sneaky. Her chi also makes it to where: if she and someone are having some sort of stare down, and she lowers her presence during that time - within the very second they look away or focus on something else, their recognition of her ever having been there to begin with suddenly goes away until something is done to remind them of her. Taking it up a notch allows just the slightest scent of her perfume to turn heads. For a weapon, she uses a 20 foot ribbon wand. While the ribbon cannot really inflict pain, it comes it handy with strangling opponents or tripping them up, as well as entangling them. Her skills with this weapon come from daily dance classes after school. As for close combat and distanced combat, Holly prefers keeping a bit away from her opponent, but can hold herself in a hand-to-hand battle thanks to Isaac and some other martial arts classes.

W E A K N E S S E S

While Holly is fairly knowledgeable in hand-to-hand combat, she's sometimes easy to overpower because of her lack of physical strength. She does not have much of a way to fight from a distance, nor does she have any sort of an actual close ranged weapon other than the rod of her wand. With her chi abilities, she cannot just disappear by lowering her presence. Holly does not turn invisible. She pretty much just makes people either not notice her, or - if already noticed - makes them forget about her upon averting their attention elsewhere. Physical contact, no matter how low her presence is, can possibly catch the attention of someone also, but if she's quick to avoid their line of sight until they focus on something else, she's good to go. When Holly raises her presence, it feels almost impossible to take your eyes off of her. However, you still have control over yourself. The feeling of pain is the best way to break free from the trance her chi puts one into. If you're already focusing on Holly when she lowers her presence, the effect of losing track of her doesn't kick in until you zone out and start wondering what you're going to have for dinner or until you look away - something along those lines.

B A C K S T O R Y

Growing up, Holly's older sister Molly was always the object of their parent's affection. They're both the same age, born in the East District as a set of twins despite growing to look so much different than one another - I think they call them fraternal twins. With each passing year, Molly grew and matured both physically and mentally. She always had the highest grades in their class and was even one of the best players on their basketball team. Holly was but a foggy shadow following far behind Molly. Holly's grades were merely average and she was simply a bench warmer on the team. While Molly went out to hang with friends, Holly stayed back and kept up with the house, even taking it upon herself to do her sister's chores.

There were even times when their parents made Holly go with Molly to be with her friends, and it was always just the worst thing ever. She didn't fit in at all. Molly would say and do things to embarrass the younger one, and everyone would just laugh and laugh and laugh. How humiliating it was. Slowly, but surely, Holly was slowly growing to despise her older sister. There were days where she just wanted to ring her neck, but in the end what good would come of doing such? Things only got worse when Holly began gaining weight - at a fairly fast pace, too. Whenever she was bored, she ate. If she felt sad, she ate. Holly was angry at times, and you know what she did? She ate.

Eventually she was kicked off the basketball team due to skipping practice all the time, and her grades dropped from the mere average they once were. The girl hated herself. I mean absolutely abhorred. All she stood for was to entertain others by allowing them to poke fun at her and talk shit about her behind her back. At one point, though, people stopped paying her any attention whatsoever. The bullying toned down a bit... but it was strange. No one seemed to notice her anymore. Holly had become completely invisible to not just people at school, but to her parents as well. Molly, though, was still the same. While Holly could straight up walk into the boy's bathroom and no one notice, Molly never lost sight of her. It must be because they're twins.

The reason for this, by the way, was because Holly's chi abilities had sprouted up. She just couldn't control them. There one day came a time when Holly found a guy she liked. He was from the calligraphy club in school, and looked like a prince. Oh, he was just the most beautiful thing there ever was - as nice as can be, too. Despite her being an ugly, fat lard, this guy didn't mind to speak with Holly. He wasn't just good at what he did regarding his club, but he was a talented artists as well. Often times, he would draw something of Holly's request and let her keep it. The first time she invited him to her house, though, was the end of it all because it only led to Molly setting her eyes on him. Not long after that, they were dating, and Holly's heart snapped right in two.

She was broken. She was pissed. And she was ready to change. Today, Holly might say this incident was a lesson learned. It wasn't but half a year before she slimmed up thanks to joining weight loss classes. The rest of what weight she had to loose was swept away during dance lessons and gymnastics, something she had always taken interest in, but never felt confident enough to actually go for. Holly was on a roll. She had even found herself a new love, but that turned out to be just as devastating as her first one. This new love was actually her instructor. The gymnastics group would celebrate holidays together a lot, and come Christmas they decided to do the whole "Secret Santa" ordeal, and Holly was assigned to Oscar (her instructor).

She had always overheard him talking about how much he loved cats, so she decided to buy him one, only to find out that his "fiance" had already gotten him one. Fiance. Just when she thought this couldn't get any worse, she discovered that his fiance was a Northern girl. Within due time, Holly's instructor resigned from the academy and moved away to be with his woman, leaving Holly with her stupid new cat named Oscar, and a new hatred for those of the North. Because Oscar's fiance, now his wife actually, was apparently a very smart woman, Holly took up tutoring classes and bettered herself knowledge-wise. Her grades skyrocketed, and she even managed to pass up Molly. Oh man... life was good. People couldn't take their eyes off of her. This also ended up just being a part of her chi abilities, though. Eavesdropping on talk of her older sister possibly joining the Blue Dragons only led to Holly taking up that opportunity first. She's quite the vengeful little spirit, huh? Now, here she is.

Name

Lucy Lynn Vaness

AKA, "Kitty"

Appearance

Lucy stands at 5'0", quite small and very skinny. She has a quite a proportionate body, none of her limbs long or short, just the right size. She has messy, short light blue hair, her bangs always separated into three sections. The sides of her face and between her deep blue eyes. She also has a pair of kitty ears on the side of her head. Her skin isn't too pale, but it certainly isn't tanned. Her clothes can be defined into two categories, simple and cute. She is seen wearing anything with cats on it, even at school she adds a small cute kitty broach to her outfit. Her normal outfit is a shirt with a cat on it and a fluffy grey skirt. Lucy talks like she's humming, it's singsongy and soft-spoken.

Age

15 ~ First Year

Sex

Female

School

Blue Dragons

Role/Reputation

Her role is to gather information. Since she can turn into a cat and seem like a stray, she's able to listen in on a conversation while being in the background without being noticed. Even if she were to be noticed, they wouldn't think too much of a cat. But, she could also act as a distraction, tip things over to create loud noises, or even attack others, clawing at them and scratching them. As for her reputation, she doesn't have one yet. Lucy isn't well known in the group because of the fact that she's new to it.

Combat Abilities

Because of Lucy's agile and fast nature, she does a hit and dodge sort of style. Because her weapon of choice is a metal staff, she often has to fight a bit close, but not close enough so that someone with a dagger could hit her. For an example of her hit and dodge tactics. She'd run around them until there was an opening before trying to hit them. Of course, this isn't the most effective thing she could do, but she was self-trained, so a childish girl can't really do much better.

Chi Ability

Her chi ability is being able to turn into a light blue fur colored cat. She normally, as explained in her role, plays as a spy. She'd sneak along wherever she'd fit, bushes, trees, walls, even behind the person, because who would question a cat? On occasion, she'd use her chi ability to have fun. Because she remembered as a child how much she had fun with her kitten, she'd approach other children and play with them until they had to go.

Weaknesses

As for her weaknesses, she's weak. Physical strength is something she definitely lacks in, hence the reason she tends to stick to her hit and dodge tactic. She also is constantly hungry. Because of this, if she doesn't get food, she gets headaches/migraines and starts to feel a bit weak, having to sit down so that her legs don't give out from under her. Lucy can also only turn into a cat for about an hour, having to wait 5-30 minutes in between her changes depending on how long she was a cat for.

Personality

Quiet || Sweet || Childish || Clueless

Lucy is a very quiet girl. Not in the sense that she is reserved and confined to only herself, but in the sense that she doesn't speak loud. People have to crane to hear her if she speaks, maybe even asking her to repeat herself, which she would then just shrug off what she said. Even though she isn't completely reserved to herself, so often doesn't share her opinion unless she's comfortable with the people around her. She's also very sweet and kind, sharing everything she has with others and giving them anything they need. Lucy is quite childish and clueless, off in her own world. She laughs at the simplest jokes but gets lost in the actually good ones. She enjoys anything cute and loves any sort of toys that she can distract herself with.

Backstory

Lucy was born in a completely different city, her family working in a family restaurant business. Because they were the owner of the business, they were often out managing everything and making sure everything was going smoothly. Since she was the only child, she only had one friend she'd play with, a stray, grey kitten. Every day she'd ask her nanny if she could play outside, and she'd play with the kitten that'd wait for her. Seeing as she didn't really interact with anyone because of her shyness, the kitten was the most logical reason her power sprouted.

At school, as I stated that she only had one friend, the kitten, it could be inferred that she wasn't the most popular girl in school, which would be right. Lucy was never really ever accompanied by others, but she wasn't ever alone. She was mostly in the background, just there. No one really paid any notice to her unless she was called on or asked a question. She was never bullied but never talked to either. The top two biggest conversations she's had with someone was someone asking to borrow a pencil and someone asking for directions to the bathroom, in which she was proud that she reacted awkwardly positive to and did what they asked.

Lucy had started her high school year when her parents explained to her that they were going to move so that they can spread their business to other areas. At that moment, she was heartbroken. Of course, her parents thought it was because she'd have to meet new people at school but in reality, she didn't want to meet the kitten she had grown up with. While her parents were comforting her, she asked if they could keep the cat and explained to them as best as she could as to why it was important to her that they should, and since it was the only thing that her parents had seen her genuinely care about, they agreed, but only if she tried her best to make friends when they moved. Of course, she said yes.

Once Lucy moved to Shima City and was thrown into the middle of her high school year. When she heard about a ninja gangster group for the school called the "Blue Dragons", she figured that could possibly be her chance to get new friends, even though that's not what the group was about.

Relationships

Other

Lucy often says cat puns at random times

She can bake some great cookies and cakes

Keagan Willis

Oogie Boogie 'Oogie'

Appearance 5'7"

Pale... pale skin, pale eyes, pale hair... Keagan is often described as either 'fair' like a porcelain doll, or 'sickly and fragile'. He often wears baggy clothing to hide his unhealthy, thin appearance and tries not to wear clothing that would make him look paler then he is. Instead of his face turning red when he blushes, he often turns more of a pink or peach color, and he is rarely caught without a scarf to hide his face in, in case he does blush (and they're very useful for hiding insects, as well...).

Blue Dragon

East District

Role/Reputation

While Diana may be the strategist and informant to the Blue Dragons, Keagan has been working his way towards being the actual intel gatherer. The nice thing is he has eyes and ears everywhere... or can have if he's paying attention but because they're bugs no one knows... except for the people suspicious of every bug. (I don't know if those people are the smart ones or the paranoid ones.)

Combat Abilities

Keagan, thanks to training from Isaac, has become fairly skilled at both close and slightly ranged combat (range being the range of his melee weapon). Thoughhe looks frail, he's got the strength of a little under the average person... so he can hit decently hard and thanks to the length of chain that Chigirikis have he can both take people down via tripping them or take them down with a well aimed smack to the face. Because he isn't powerful Isaac has been helping him learn how to focus and hit weak spots; a smack to the temple, a strike to the right part of a knee... and how to use his chi as a distraction to open up those weak points. Because he's not as physically fit as some he has to be quick, good at dodging... and if he's struck down it's practically game over.

Chigiriki

Chi Ability

Keagan has the ability to communicate with insects and arachnids and cause them to do his bidding. He can't just conjure bugs out of air, of course, but any in the area will come to him like moths drawn to a flame, and then obey whatever orders he gives. He often keeps at least a couple bugs with him in case he wants to pull a prank or needs a diversion, but to call up like an army of bees there needs to be a bee hive in the area (or he has to have a jar of bees with him).

Weaknesses

He's limited to the insects and arachnids in the area (50 mile Radius). His strengths lie in the bugs alone; he doesn't have any super abilities besides getting bugs to do his bidding. He has a rather frail, sickly body that means one good hit will probably take him down and leave him down. That and he's weak in strength... just a little under average but when your dealing with fighters who have above average strength it puts you at a serious disadvantage.

Personality

What's right is right, otherwise it would be........ Keagan follows a strict moral code; though there is one point to be taken from his moral code that might deviate from the stricter standards of dragons; 'no blood, no foul.' Keagan likes to play the occasional pranks on people; especially those who are fairly unsuspecting and fearful of bugs. Though he feels that everyone should already love bugs, he can't help but pick on the people who don't. Otherwise he never kicks a person while they're down, never takes advantage of someone who's given in, and is very respectful of proper fighting rules (no throwing dust into people's faces, though he may send a few bugs).

History

They say that kids are some of the most honest and brutal of people and a lot of times they were right. Keagan was born into a family that had been as happy or peaceful as could be expected. His birth tore that apart... He was the proof that his mother had been unfaithful to his father. She had held out that he was her husband's child, but his appearance didn't take after either of his parents. His father, dark skinned and dark haired, knew at once upon seeing him with his pale skin and hair. And it broke what was once a close-knit, loving family. His older brother and sister blamed him solely for the break, not their mother. They despised him and they never let him forget it.

Keagan's mother gave him the love that she could but his siblings called it favoritism... and his father... well there was a bit of a tangled mess when it came spending time with the dark skinned man he was supposed to call dad. The man never looked Keagan in the eye and no matter what he did as a child, he was never praised for his work by anyone but his mother. And yet she usually looked at him with tears in her eyes... At least his Uncle would sometimes take him away from all the pain his family dealt him. They were secret meetings, though Keagan didn't understand why... he did at least remain quiet about them. It wasn't like his brother, sister, or 'dad' allowed him to talk anyway. The odd thing was he looked more like his Uncle, who wasn't even related by blood (or so Keagan believes), and would often be mistaken as his son on trips to the zoo and the like. Keagan didn't mind... he wished his uncle were his father. Life might have been better if that had been the case.

Life remained on the verge of shattering completely, but somehow Keagan's mother and 'father' held their marriage together. After an attempt on Keagan's life sent his older brother and sister to jail, life at home became as cold as it had ever been. Even his mother no longer really spoke to him. His only escape is the Blue Dragons and he will give his all to them. Failure only reminds him of what he is...

Other

Really looks up to Isaac and takes the man's comments and training to heart.

Has a healthy respect for Diana and tries to be useful to her.

Wouldn't dream of disobeying Tsu or causing her trouble.

My Demons

You know, I've never understood much about interviews. No one reads them anyway. Except stalkers.

Oh Keagan, you're just being paranoid. You don't have any stalkers... I don't think. How's your uncle been lately?

I haven't really been able to see him but I have a bee that lives with him that tells me how he's doing every now and then.

A bee?

Yeah, in case he's attacked or something. Then the bee could fight the intruders.

Kind of like an attack dog...

Better!

Okay then... So what about your mom and dad? How are they?

.......I don't know.

You haven't spoken to them at all?

.............No.

Okay, well whats it like being able to talk to bugs? Uh wait... Keagan. No, don't cry! I'm sorry! I guess that will be all for today...

Lyre Chandra

‘Genie’

Appearance 5'

The image is how she appears when she’s using her chi. In regular circumstances she doesn’t have the horns, for one. Her hair is that short bob but her hair becomes brunette and her pale amber eyes when in Genie mode turn to a light blue instead. For whatever odd reason Lyre’s irises have always been a bit gray instead of the usual black. She tends to wear a fair level of makeup and will often have a vacant seeming expression even when trying to look severe.

Blue Dragon

Role/Reputation

Lyre has the reputation of being a Genie, truly. She can use the supposed wishes to really gain something from other gangs, or she can soften the cost to give her own teammates a boost in something.

Combat Abilities

Lyre is a bit odd about the way she fights… since her chi does little to help with actual fights she has found a way to be good in a true fight with other gangs or other people. Her weapon of choice is, oddly enough, dual bear traps. She has unhinged the latches so that when she snaps them at people, the teeth will close and lock. This means she has to be exact about her aim; otherwise she has to pull them back and unlock them to snap again. She’s working on a pair that don’t lock so easily but for right now that’s how it works… and if those teeth sink into you, she’ll drag you in closer and see about taking you down with no further bloodshed. She’s not enthused about killing so she usually aims for limbs and shoulders, not faces and not bellies. Don’t get her wrong, she will maim her opponent if needed… but she avoids it when possible. She doesn’t want to be seen as a monster. Her actual fighting style changes with whats needed… sometimes she sets her traps up as actual traps to capture and other times she’s in combat face to face. She’s not beyond attacking from behind but doesn’t usually attack when someone’s down.

Bear Trap

Chi Ability- Genie Chi

Lyre’s ability is to grant wishes. Now as wishy washy great as that sounds, there’s more to it than one would think. Just like the Genie in Aladdin, she also has a limit to what she can grant and what she can’t. She cannot bring the dead back to life as anything more than apparitions-and those are definitely not real, just a visual of the person’s memories; She cannot kill somebody with a wish (though if it were truly required she probably could in hand to hand combat); and though she can change the chemicals within someone so that they feel a kind of love she can’t do anything to make them truly fall in love.

The way it works is someone has to say ‘I wish _____’ and from there Lyre is caught up in offering that person a contract. She really doesn’t have a choice in the matter… if someone says ‘I Wish’ she gets an itch to offer fulfilling the wish. If she were to walk away from the person and keep her distance, the itch goes away after a little while but if she remains near them it grows until it’s a bone deep ache. She can only take on one wish at a time and she can hold off in fulfilling the wish if she wants, though she’ll be under contract with that person while she does and if she waits too long there are consequences.

Further thinking has led me to thinking of her chi ability kind of like this: She can't make things appear out of thin air even when they're wished for. If someone phrased something like this "I wish for 100 American Dollars" then Lyre will have to come up with the money some how (raise it, steal it from a bank, you get the idea). She can't make something from nothing. Right now.

/monthly_2016_07/8f02ecbd10afa9f73fe0b365b428ce7f2.jpg.ceaeaca997a9cfc1e8494dfa53e6d672.jpg

Weaknesses

Besides the limits to her wish fulfilling skills, Lyre cannot grant a wish for herself. The only time her chi grants her any kind of power is when she’s under contract for a wish. While she is under contract, she is practically invulnerable but once the wish is fulfilled she has the weaknesses of any human. There’s also a cost to each wish- besides that it depletes her store of chi, there’s always some kind of catch. Just like if you were to wish for 1,000 bucks you’d get 1,000 male deer running around and not cash. Wording needs to be very, very careful and even then things can go wrong. No wish comes for free.

Personality

Quirky and tending to make light of a situation, Lyre is definitely not the worst company one can have. At least when she’s around close friends… when around strangers she tends to shut down and become fairly shy. When she’s in an off mood she can become very cold and distant; almost to the point of appearing emotionless though she always seems to have a hurricane of emotions raging within her. These feelings can flip on a dime sometimes and it can catch people off guard the way she’ll be happy and laughing one moment and the very next her expression is becoming a vacant gaze, laughter cut off suddenly.

History

The world can be unforgiving to people who were different. For most of her life Lyre wasn't different, she fit in perfectly fine with everyone else(well, she didn't see colors the same but that had never been a problem). She was the typical shy girl, of course, who would open up when she knew people but there wasn't anything odd or different about her. Nothing that made people give her odd looks when walking through the crowd. And then middleschool came around and that all changed when a wish was made near her and she was compelled to grant it. That first wish changed Lyre's whole life, as well as her perspective of the world. She hadn't even realized the change until, on her mission to fulfill the wish, a child screamed and then began to cry... and of course, Lyre had gone to help them... but that had only made things worse.

Even with this seeming curse, it was a few years later Lyre joined the dragons. She just wanted to find a way to make her chi go away... she would be happier without it. Though she admits this to no one... Her family life, though a bit strained, is still going well enough and she has begun to make friends with her fellow dragons which awes her to no end. She appreciates the people who treat her normal, even in genie form, the most. She's loyal to the gang, and doesn't mind working as a bargaining chip sometimes (a wish for another gang to get something in return, etc). On the whole she tries to avoid being around people who wish for things easily, and doesn't leave the house often except for Dragon work or Dragon time with her fellow members.

Other

Lyre is very self conscious of herself and is always afraid of either scaring someone or them finding her unattractive. She scared a child once and that hurt her in an odd way.

Lyre is also colorblind.

Save the World

INTERVIEW!!

I wish to have an interview with Lyre.

Did you really have to make a wish?

I kind of wanted to see you in your genie form. Sorry.

It's fine I guess. So, what do you want to know?

What's it like being color blind?

It's kind of hard to explain. It's like asking you what it's like to not be color blind. The world is just different for me.

Oh... well then, what's it like to have horns? Do you ever use them?

Besides people making comments on them, I don't usually notice them. I like it best when my friends are there to dispel people who stare at me.

Do people stare often?

Not really at school, anymore, but they do on the streets. All the time. But people like Nixon makes a joke and things calm down.

I'm glad you have good friends. Alright, well that's all. Thanks for your time, Lyre.

Wish granted. Have a nice day!

One of the many Underlings

Appearance

Greyish silver hair the color of pavement and Piercing Golden Eyes that had the predatory similarity to that of an eagle's eyes are the most noticeable features on the twins, and some of the only things that not only shows they're brothers but they're twins. As well as they have the same body, not stocky yet not slim, fairly well built with narrow shoulders and hips set up and are the same height down to about a millimeter. They have the same 'heart shaped' face though it's far from sweet looking, eyebrows shaped in similar styles, and thin lips show young, rebellion in every curve. It's obvious that the eyes used to glimmer with a warmer light, and that the mouths used to curve in expressions other than sneers, but those are almost lost memories for the facial muscles nowadays. From there, though, the two men differ.

You'd think Identical Twins would be hard to tell apart (or maybe you don't) but point being that it's actually quite easy to tell Donni from Jed. Even if they were wearing the same clothing with the same hairstyles there's just a way they hold themselves. Donni is a little more straight backed, professional; his gaze tends to be cool and calculating. On top of that he dresses in 'nice' clothing and wears his hair in a short in the back, long in the front style that some how he makes look business professional. He's not often seen smiling, though when he does it is quite the sight. He used to smile quite often when he was younger but being separated from Jed broke something inside of him and he hasn't smiled often since.

Combat Abilities
Donnovan is all about defense, and causing injury without drawing blood. He's quite adept with the tri-section staff, and uses it as his primary weapon, taking people down but not completely destroying them. Though he is an honorable fighter, he is also a ninja and that means using ambush tactics and sneak attacks to become victorious. Donni will proudly state he will not use any means to win; he is not the type to throw dirt in his opponents face or kick them while they're down, but if their wits are so low as to not know when they are in danger then it's his job to knock sense in them.

Tri-Section Staff

Chi Ability
Donnovan has the ability to inflict injury by receiving injury, and luckily enough for him Donnovan can't actually feel pain. In fact... part of his chi ability is that he can't feel anything. His nerves are fried... and whether that has to do with some malfunction in his DNA or his Chi protecting him from being stopped from his ability, Donni doesn't really know. All he knows is that he's never been able to feel a soft breeze on his face or know the difference between warm and cold, and when he sees blood he can only imagine the pain but doesn't actually know what it feels like. That being said his other senses have a bit of a higher level than the average person; the space in his brain making way for them to expand since he didn't have space used up by sense of touch. Anywho, to further explain Donni's ability; if he cuts himself, the person he's making eye contact with/focusing on also receives a cut on their arm. This can also be said if someone else cuts Donni, the injury bestowed upon him will appear on the person he's fighting as well.

Weaknesses
Not being able to feel pain is actually a very dangerous weakness, just like not knowing hot or cold. He doesn't always know when his body is taking damage and that's gotten him into some tight spots that Jed actually saved him from... Also, Donni bleeds just like a regular person so after a certain amount of injury he won't be able to stay on his feet. And also, if he's not focused on the person, then injuries bestowed upon him are not reflected.

Personality
Donni is coolly logical and works best with numbers and statistics, but he also has compassion for human kind- ergo why he doesn't like truly maiming people. Before battling an opponent Donni tends to do exceptionally extensive research to find his best strengths to exploit his opponent's. He's also good at making connections, having the ability to convince people of his loyalty when truly he is only loyal to himself and his twin brother.

History

Donni and his twin brother Jeddidiah have lived in Shima all their lives, starting out in the East District together with their mother and father. They lived many pleasant, brotherly years with one another until they reached the age of 10 and things took a turn for the worst. It took 4 years for their parents finally gave in and decided to get a divorce, but once they had, far against the 14 year old twins' wishes, one twin was forced to move away with the mother, the other the father.

Donnovan moved in with his mother and at first, he hoped things would mend and his parents would change their mind. He held onto that hope, though he buried his nose in his books and studies to keep it from showing. Years passed and he hadn't so much as heard from his twin or his father, nor had he been allowed to reach out and contact them. He was actually a little hurt that Jed hadn't tried to reach him... but he didn't hold it against his brother. If their father was behaving at all similar to their mother, then Jed hadn't been allowed to either. Donnovan spent time counting down the years until he was an adult and could do as he liked... and to pass the time decided to join a gang. Just to have a reason to get out of the house, and to connect better with his chi. He's disappointed in his ranking, but otherwise doesn't mind being in the gang. Just as long as it doesn't affect his studies for school.

INTERVIEW!!

Good morning Donni!

Please don't refer to me as 'Donni'. That makes it sound like we are friends.

You wound me, Donni. But anyway, lets get to the questions. Is it hard not being able to physically feel things?

It has caused me trouble in the past, but it does have it's uses.

Is it hard not being able to emotionally feel things?

If you're trying to bait me, you will fail.

I'm not trying to do anything. I just wanted to know what it was like to lose your heart when you lost your brother.

......This is of no concern to you.

I think it is important to me, though!

I don't have to deal with this.

Donni! Hey, where do you think you're going. I am your creator and I haven't released you yet! Donni?! Donnovan!? I don't think he's coming back...

    Tsu Sun
    AKA "Emerald"

    Appearance
Tsu is a petite young woman standing at 5'7. She has long legs, emerald hair, and matching eyes. Her combat clothes are what she wears in the above picture. Normally, her casual attire consists of blue dresses, boots, and a jacket if it's chilly. She's a pretty simple gal, and doesn't really keep up with fashion trends.

    Age
    17
    4th Year
    Born February 2nd

    Sex
    Female

    School
    Blue Dragon High

    Role/Reputation
Tsu is the reluctant but dedicated Elder of the Blue Dragons. Despite never wanting the job, the last Elder saw it fit that the calm, cool headed, and morally just girl be in charge after they graduated. Tsu couldn't refuse the offer, and tries to instill a sense of justice and mercy in the Dragons. Though she doesn't show it, she doubts her abilities as a leader. Her self doubt propels her to train hard, uphold the golden rule of the Dragons, and to set an example for the other members. The fact that many of the members look up to her is her primary source of motivation..

    Combat Abilities
Tsu wields two reverse blade wakizashis, which are shorter, swifter katanas. The reversed blade makes them non-lethal. She relies mostly on speed, and banks on being able to land many strikes before landing one that can knock the opponent out. Tsu doesn't use any ranged weapons, and instead relies on her Chi for ranged combat. Tsu moves gracefully and rarely ever takes a misstep in battle. She's excellent with balance and shifting her weight to give her quick slashes more force. Her reflexes allow for quick dodges and blocks. She was chosen to be Elder in part because of her great combat prowess.

    Chi Ability
Wind: Tsu has been meditating her entire life and has become very close with her Chi, as many Blue Dragons are. She can create razor sharp rings of air and fling them at opponents from afar, and can use gusts of wind to propel her movement and float for a short time, and use a shot gun like blast of air to push back several opponents at once. Tsu generates all of her own wind, though she can manipulate the air around her as well, and the air in her lungs too. So even if her hands were tied, she could still blow a powerful gust through her lips. If she really wanted to (she'd never do this) she could suck the air out of someone's lungs and suffocate them to death.

    Weaknesses
Tsu is a skilled swordsman, but without blades or some sort of substitute, she has to rely on her Chi to fight, which can be draining. Even though Tsu can use her Chi for quite some time in combat from extensive training, it is still a limited resource. She isn't a terrible hand to hand combatant but her bread and butter is in swordplay. Her reliance on speed makes more defensive opponents a challenge for her, and her powers over wind can't stand up against earth or metal or anything heavier than your average guy. Some say that her refusal to kill is holding her back, but that’s a common criticism levied at the Dragons.

    qUjUGjEjpO6cuA-zLffhTuXUOUHwCQ8CSOcE5i_Sxpf62XxBfunhnU6zoqJBUNHYeozY5F0GIv2QXYI1Dr7lZWO-dlX4WFS0QCl4R1rD0LrmfhC60hXrIYPide3lPTASS964mo8s
    Personality
Tsu is a dedicated defender of the weak. And by the weak, I also mean plants and animals. She can be a nurturing caretaker to her friends, and ends up being coming off as a worry wart sometimes. Practice and meditation are her vices. Many call her boring because she doesn't have any other hobbies and has never experimented with the party life or even entheogens like some Dragons are known to do. Tsu can be quite rigid and has a very black and white way of looking at the world. She can often be hard headed, and persuading her takes the likes of Isaac, someone passionate enough to argue with her. If an order falls outside of her personal moral compass, she'll find a way to complete the mission her way. Tsu is clueless to certain social cues like flirtation, and though she's book smart, she isn't street smart at all, making her gullible at times. Invoking her wrath will land you in deep shit, she's the type to pursue her rivals endlessly. Tsu absolutely refuses to kill anyone and anything, no matter what they did. She can occasionally come off as "holier-than-thou" and judgmental.

    Backstory
Tsu was raised in East District her entire life by her grandparents. Her father died before she was born and her mother died in childbirth. Tsu never mourned their deaths, nor did she ever feel it hindered her development as a person, but she prays to them every morning and every night. Her family has a long history with the Blue Dragons, so it was only natural that she became one when she reached high school.

She first started practicing with blades under her grandmother in their garden, who gave her all the rudimentary knowledge of swordplay. Her grandfather instilled her sense of morals, and taught her that there was never a right time to kill, despite the fact that even the Dragons would’ve told her differently at one time.

When she started high school, her grandmother had grown too old to tutor her, so Tsu learned from the rest of the 3rd years and 4th years of the gang. During her initiation test, She beat a second year in a duel, earning her spot in the gang. As her years as an apprentice passed, she came to develop her own style of swordplay, mixing in fundamentals of her grandmother's teachings and the teachings of other students and her own techniques. Despite the fact she's never shed blood for the gang, she's yet to lose a duel against a member from another school...but that could change very soon.

Cielo is hella tiny, standing at only 5'1. She typically has a sour, judgmental look on her face. Her hair is a shiny silver and her eyes are a dull light orange. Blue Dragons

Role/Reputation

Cielo is relatively new to the gang, having just joined this year, so she’s only a semester deep. She usually has to shadow other members, but her brash and rebellious attitude has lead her to become somewhat of a troublemaker for the gang. She often clashes over ideals. In school, she's known to be quite cold and unfriendly, which many people find surprising given her tiny and cute appearance.

Combat Abilities

Cielo relies highly on her Chi when fighting. She wields the oversized fuuma shuriken in her picture in battle. When we get to her Chi, I'll explain how someone so small can wield such an item. Though quick with her hands and legs with an impeccable sense of balance, Cielo simply isn't very strong. Her fighting style involves very little blocking with her body, she prefers to use her shuriken as a shield when she can, which is arguably a lot more effective. She's forced to use the dangerous weapon in a non-lethal way, so she usually tries to hit people with the flat side of the blades as opposed to the edges.

Chi Ability

Gravity Chi: She can essentially create a force field around herself, other people, and objects to make them virtually weightless or heavier. This is how she's able to wield her giant weapon. In fact, she can use her ability to fly on her weapon, and she often stands on top of it while fighting. She's also fond of using her Chi to wield the weapon without using her hands. Cielo can push things by putting a strong gravitational force behind them. At this moment in time, she can only lift five objects at once, and she can only alter the weight if it weighs less than your average vehicle, so that means she can't flip cars or lift buildings.

Weaknesses

Her inexperience and her wrath are probably her greatest weaknesses. She has a highly complicated style of fighting that requires a ton of concentration and Chi usage, so she can't fight for very long before becoming exhausted. Her weak physical attacks could be withstood by just about any other ninja. Cielo hates to run, and won't back out of a fight when she needs to.

Personality

Cielo is basically like the Anakin Skywalker of the Dragons. It's easy to see that she has a lot of potential to be a great fighter. But she overestimates her abilities. She thinks that death is a natural part of life and that the city won't be taken without blood. Cielo is passionate about the peaceful ideals the gang holds, but she doesn't think that dangerous people like the Cobras or greedy people like the Tigers fit in that image of tranquility. Rage burns inside of her and she often questions the others on their unwillingness to kill. The best way to be put in her place is to beat her in a sparring match to teach her the value of mercy.

Cielo despises being cute and hates all cute things. She feels that her appearance doesn't allow people to take her seriously, so she often goes out of her way to assert herself. She comes off as very aggressive, meditation is the only thing that calms her down when she gets aggravated. Cielo can be pouty and defiant, but she begrudgingly follows orders from her superiors.

Backstory

Cielo's parents met in an adult English language class for immigrants in the community college in Rose District. She is half Japanese, half Mexican. Her parents don't make enough money to live in North District, but they wanted to avoid the dangers of South District, so they moved to the peaceful East. As a child her parents took her for walks in the gardens and raised her to be just and fair. When comparing the other districts to her's, she knew in her heart that Shima would be far more just if the other districts were identical to the East.

As she got older, this sense of justice became quite militant. Yet her small stature made it hard to stand up to bullies and other foul undesirables. She heard tales of the Dragons and their amazing Chi abilities and began to revere them as epic defenders of justice. She started training older than most, at 13. When she went to high school, she attempted to join the gang in her freshman year, but she was deemed to be too weak. This infuriated her, and so she trained and meditated obsessively for a straight year. While meditating, she began to float above the ground. Discovering her Chi easily made her into a better fighter, and the next year she went through the Dragon initiation, she passed. Since she joined, she's clashed with Tsu about avoiding lethal force, and identifies with Isaac more, but still hates that he isn't willing to kill either. She's pretty bitter about losing sparring matches to just about each one of the older members, and some of the younger ones too.

Role/Reputation

T.K. is pretty much a lowly grunt within the gang and he has even lower grades. His general lack of motivation keeps him from elevating to a higher status. Most of his reputation extends from his training in Ascension and the fact that he never skips leg day. It's said that he could kick you a thousand times before you even known he kicked you. That's obviously an exaggeration though.

Combat Abilities

T.K. never skips leg day. Never. His specialty martial art is Taekwon Do, which if you're unfamiliar with, it's based primarily on kicking. The weights around his calves serve as his main weapon. The blue gems in them give them their weight. With all four gems they're at their heaviest. He wears these grieves pretty much everywhere he goes to work out his legs constantly. With them on he can move and kick at a normal person's pace. But when they're off, he's basically Chun Li lightning kicking motherfuckers.

Chi Ability

Chi Siphon Chi: T.K. has the ability to drain the Chi energy from others to transfer it either to himself to or someone else. It's pretty simple. He can do this from a distance as long as you're within his vision and he can focus on you. However, it works faster if he's closer to you, and works fastest when he's touching you.

Weaknesses

Blocking is a big weakness for T.K. While he is capable of blocking with his legs, it isn't ideal. He tends to be completely offensive in battle and pretty much ONLY uses his arms to block, but he's not nearly as strong or fast with them. If he can't dodge a hit, he's probably gonna have to take it full on, and if he does block, it won't be a very good one.

Chi wise, he has a limit to how much he can absorb, much like a gas tank. So in order to steal Chi energy from someone else with the explicit purpose of transferring it to another person, he needs to have both people within his line of sight, or he needs to be touching both people, or doing one of each. The speed at which the siphoning can occur would often factor into how exactly he's siphoning. He would need to grapple his opponent and hold them down in order to completely fatigue them quickly. But even then, unless he's completely empty, he won't be able to drain all of their Chi. He can't supercharge anyone else's Chi, so they would had to have used some of it already in order to transfer it.

Personality

T.K. is a very lazy individual. He can't be assed to do his homework, he can't be assed to get a job. He can really only motivate himself to do things that he wants to do, and even that can be hard for him sometimes. His two hobbies are video games and Taekwon Do. He's very good at both and has a lot of friends online from his extensive gaming binges. Speaking of friends, all of them from the real world are pretty much in the Dragons. There are people that know him around school, and say what's up to him and stuff like that, but he doesn't really consider them friends. He often seems like he's in a bad mood or like he doesn't want to be bothered with people, but that isn't the case at all. It's just that he's so easygoing that it often seems like he isn't putting any effort into conversations, or like he isn't listening. However, he'll often surprise people by remembering something they said weeks ago. He's pretty observant, and he definitely cares about his fellow gang members. It's just hard to tell. T.K. used to have a girlfriend, but they broke it off because he couldn't be assed to take her out on dates, or even text her. However, he's pretty damn upset about this breakup. In his own words: "She was the hottest girl, like... ever."

Backstory

T.K. was born in Japan if you couldn't tell by the name, and he lived there until he was 8. In Japan, his parents had encouraged him to overachieve, and he did! As a young boy, he received top marks and studied very hard, especially when it came to learning English in preparation for the move to Shima. To this day though, you can still hear hints of his Japanese accent unless he tries really hard to conceal it. When the move finally occurred, a young and bright T.K. went to school, ready to learn and do well. But then he noticed how easy school was in comparison to Japan... so he stopped trying.

His obsession with video games made him try even less until eventually he was flat out failing. During this time, his parents tried everything to motivate their son, they even took away his gaming consoles. When he was 13, they shipped him back to Japan for boarding school, but he did so poorly that he failed out. He purposefully faked an inability to speak Japanese. Viewing their son as a failure, T.K.'s parents had another kid that year. His little sister became their pet project and they've been trying to make her into a baby genius, giving up on T.K. and letting him do pretty much whatever he wanted as long as he got a job.

This worked out for a while. T.K. got himself a nice job at a Bubbles, a Boba Tea joint down the street from his place, but he couldn't be assed to come to work on time, or at all, so he was fired within two weeks. On top of that, he was failing his second year. But to keep his games, he had to convince his parents that he had a job. So what's he do? He joins a gang! Using the one thing his parents were proud of him for: his Taekwon Do skills. He'd taken an interest in the art due to an uncle of his who lived in Shima, and throughout his life he won a bunch of competitions. This uncle was the one who convinced him to wear his weighted grieves. He joined the Dragons no problem, and he's been with them for a year. Whenever he'd get into a fight with someone from another District, he'd kick the shit out of them, and take the money out of their wallet. And bam, just like that he had a "job" again. His gang affiliation earned him a girlfriend, who later broke up with him for being too lazy to do anything other than Netflix and chill. And I mean that literally, he didn't even wanna engage in sexy times.

Memphis wants to make it to the big leagues within the gang. It's no secret that he wants to be Elder one day. He's known for being highly ambitious in all aspects of his life, almost annoyingly so. However, within the Dragons he's just a grunt. Though athletic, he isn't the best athlete nor is he very popular. And his high energy keeps him from sitting still long enough to do his homework, so he's just your average C student.

Combat Abilities

Memphis trains tirelessly in a myriad of martial art styles, but because he's yet to pick one to focus on, he isn't particularly great at any of them and would have trouble keeping up with a dedicated martial artist. However, he's quick and nimble on his feet (what ninja isn't), and really good at climbing as well. Memphis focuses on a defensive style of combat that is an amalgamation of all that he's learned so far. He puts an emphasis on blocking strikes as opposed to dealing them out. His weapons of choice are two small bucklers worn on each forearm. They make it easy for him to block blows and deal back a non-lethal counter attack.

Chi Ability

Time Chi: I know what you're thinking: OP as fuck right? Well you're wrong. Memphis doesn't have control over time persay, it's more like he has control over speed. He can slow down or speed up objects in motion, whether they're organic or inorganic. At this point, the size and original speed of the object matters greatly. Slowing down or speeding up a person is a lot harder for him than slowing down or speeding up a projectile and requires far more focus. He's also currently incapable of using his ability on multiple objects at once.

Weaknesses

As an inoffensive fighter, don't look for Memphis to go for the KO. His defensive capabilities can be trumped by his lack of endurance. He can be tired out relatively easily if his opponent stays on the offensive throughout the fight. His Chi can often be fought against in a myriad of ways, such as an outside force coming into an object in motion that he's manipulating the speed of. Such a thing would cause him to lose his grasp. Memphis hasn't practiced with his Chi for very long, and as such he hasn't built up a huge well of Chi to draw from and can run out of juice rather quickly and often without knowing.

Personality

Memphis is very hyperactive. Sometimes it seems like he could stay up for 72 hours straight without sleep and still function at full capacity. Obviously that isn't true, but you'd be inclined to believe it. He gains his energy however from a very intense diet and schedule. Memphis enforces his own bedtime and can't be coerced to eat junk food or do harmful drugs. However, those just getting to know him would never guess that he's so disciplined, because he's goofy as fuck. Memphis cracks jokes at every given opportunity, but he rarely ever teases other people, in fact, he's much more likely to make fun of himself than someone else, even an enemy.

Speaking of enemies, Memphis loves to fight. However, he doesn't believe in killing. There's a principle that Memphis keeps very close to his heart: "Everyone is something to someone."He often repeats this to other people and himself. He believes in life and love, and thus he sees Tsu's strict no killing policy as the only sane one in Shima. Though he relishes a good match, he's far from a sore loser and takes every chance he can to improve himself and others. He can often be overbearing in his methods. He'll show up where he isn't needed or wanted. Memphis can be quite self righteous, and though he's clearly a man of principle, he can often be overzealous and overbearing. His interference isn't always welcome, nor is it always the best course of action.

Backstory

Memphis's dad died before he was born unfortunately. Though he wasn't affiliated, he was apparently caught in the crossfire between all four of the rival gangs. By the time he was born, Memphis's uncle had already volunteered to step in as a father figure. However, he too was soon killed as collateral damage in a ninja fight. At this time Memphis was around 7, and he's always thoroughly understood the concept of death. No one was shy about telling him how his father died. And now, his uncle had been taken for the same reason. Since then, the young boy vowed to protect those that he loved, and those that can't protect themselves. He'd always been taught that in this world, one must defend themselves yet he took issue with the concept of killing. He was positive that killing anyone would only breed more broken families.

Discovering his Chi was not much of a problem for Memphis. He's slow to learn and requires lots of practice. One day during a complicated lecture he just wished the teacher would slow down. And she did. Granted it sounded like she was speaking in slow motion, which allowed for many an indecent prank, seeing as it was hard to tell who exactly was doing what. But, being the unselfish human being he is, Memphis never disrupted class again in this manner. Joining the Blue Dragons was quite the step for him. Initially he had antagonized all gangs, and he was going to try and take them all down by himself. But living in East District and having met a lot of the members, he eventually grew out of this dream and into another. He knew there had to be a King District, and there was only one group that deserved the title.

  • Fujimori Akira aka "777"

    9cb3abaca3a5b3a9b07a6ac5e03def33_480.jpg
    Age: 15 (Year 1)
    Sex: Male
    School: Blue Dragon

Appearance: Akira is 5'6", ranging on the shorter end of the height spectrum. This, together with his wide eyes and slim figure, may lead some to label him as "feminine", but he will get angry if anyone says it to his face. He likes wearing warm, natural colors like beige and brown. His style is conservative and proper, though this is more of his grandfather's influence showing through than any conscious choice on his own part. Recently, he's gone through a massive color change in an attempt to make blue his new favorite color. This has not gone with much success. When he thinks none of the other gang members are looking, he'll revert back to his former wardrobe.

Role/Reputation: Majority opinion says that Akira is a good kid who doesn't cause much trouble. His tendency to follow Isaac around is troubling, verging on "creepy", but it isn't as if he stalks the guy home so most people don't pay much heed to it. As a new member, he is rarely assigned to any missions. Instead, he runs errands and keeps Ascension's grounds in order (cleaning duty, basically). He's also been entrusted with administrative paper work.

Combat Ability: As the grandson of a martial arts instructor and successor to the dojo, Akira has been trained in judo from a young age. However, the boy is too gentle to use his training outside of the dojo. Even during competitions, he shows hesitance, often starting off very defensively. This has cost him many matches. That isn't to mean he isn't any good; within his cohort, his technique is second to none. Recently, he's also taken up kyudo to sharpen his focus and control.

    Chi Ability: Fool's Luck

Akira is unusually lucky. Lotteries, card games, dice -- you name it, he'll win it. The skill is pretty useless unless you want him to make money for you. In that case, you'd better have a good reason because he's adamantly against abusing his ability. When he was younger, before he'd begun working on controlling his chi, he was greeted with fortune at almost every turn: it never rained on his school trips even when the weather report said it would, he came across unclaimed money at least once a week, difficult judo opponents would always get sick before their matches… However, this all changed when he collapsed in fifth grade, on the brink of death from overexertion. He's been actively trying to suppress his chi since, but gambling naturally draws out his potential and he'll end up subconsciously using his ability.

Weaknesses: Inexperience is Akira's greatest weakness. Simply put, the boy's never used his judo outside of the dojo. Not only that, he has limited to no experience in dealing with armed attackers. Due to the nature of his chi, he also has lower stamina than other fit males his age. In middle school, he'd often throw up or faint after marathons, though extensive training has curbed this behavior. Nowadays, it isn't as extreme: he'll just run out of steam faster. Akira can use his chi to apply to situations apart from gambling, but since daily activities are far less clear cut, there is no way that he can control what exactly will happen that will be considered "lucky." HOWEVER, that is a nonissue as he will never choose to use his ability. It's already difficult enough to keep his chi in check and it is even more difficult to control when and how he wants to use it.

    Personality:
At a glance, Akira seems to embody the "gentle and mature" archetype. This is entirely not the case. He is quiet and gentle, but he has a childish personality with a stubborn streak. It is quite easy to offend him (achievable by speaking bad about Isaac or the gang), and he's the type to go silent when he's angry. However, he is equally as forgiving, and will often forget the reason behind his anger in the first place. When Akira sets his sights on a goal or an idea, persuading him to do otherwise is a difficult task. This is partly why getting him into combat is nigh impossible in the first place. He is a believer in maintaining the current power balance through talks rather than fights, a belief that many see as naive and idealistic.

Naiveté is another large part of his personality that guides (or misguides) him within his worldview. Having never gone out and experienced the gang tensions for himself nor seen the brutality that gang members are capable of inflicting, he has a simplistic view of the situation. People and actions are either immoral or moral, and he firmly believes the Blue Dragons to be the moral force within Shima City. He is blind to the faults of his gang, and even more so to the faults of Isaac, whom he idolizes. This, in addition to Akira's optimism, can occasionally reach the level of delusion. Seeing the silver lining to every cloud can be a good thing, but when two of your gang's members are dead and you still believe the conflict can be resolved without going onto the warpath, there might be a need to reevaluate.

    History:

From birth, there was something wrong with Akira. The normal person needs to endure rigorous training in the body and the spirit to access their chi reserves, or otherwise experience an event that triggers their latent abilities. For Akira, there were no withholding mechanisms in place for his chi, so there was no "awakening". He'd continuously leak chi during his waking hours; only when he was asleep did it stop to replenish. The effect of this was that he'd sleep for abnormally long periods of time, even for a young child. When Akira began attending school, his general lethargy became such an issue that it earned him the reputation of being a "problem child". He'd fall asleep often in class, missing large portions of the coursework. This delayed the development of his communication and comprehension skills. As full-time working parents, the Fujimoris had trouble dealing with the situation; doctors couldn't find anything physically wrong with their boy, so they quietly wondered if this was his way of acting out. At a loss, they decided to give him a change of scenery, as well some more discipline and order in his life (though the fact that Mr. Fujimori had received a lucrative job offer at another location may have also impacted the decision somewhat). Thus, Akira was sent to his grandfather in Shima City, where he began second grade in earnest.

Akira had cried and cried during the first few weeks, but he eventually grew to accept the arrangement as a necessary decision made with his wellbeing in mind. The loneliness was abated by the frequent calls he received from his parents, and by the harsh training he endured under the instruction of his grandfather -- he was too tired at the end of the day for misery or self-pity to set in. And the move had helped him: inadvertently, his mental and physical training helped curb his chi expenditure. However, this was not enough. As he grew older, his chi became harder to control; unfocused training was not enough to minimize the effects of his energy leakages, culminating in Akira's near-death experience in fifth grade. Funnily, it was also this incident that clued Grandpa Fujimori in on the source of his grandson's condition. After Akira's recovery, his grandfather began to specifically focus their lessons around chi control.

Middle school was a rough time for Akira. Training had become more difficult, and Akira found it easier to blame his own weakness for his failure now that he knew the solution to his problems was within his grasp. Previously, his lethargy and his bad grades had been facts of life -- just a big cloud of bad luck that he could do nothing about, hiding behind his little fortunes. Then he'd learned that it hadn't been about luck at all, that it had been him the entire time. His lack of control, his ignorance. It was then that he'd met Isaac Chiem, famous among the younger children as the neighborhood older brother figure. Immediately, he was drawn to the man's strength, perseverance, and self-reliance. Isaac became his role model. And naturally, Akira aspired to become part of the same group as his role model, which was how he ended up in Blue Dragon High.

Other: His alias was given by a friend who said it would make for a good graffiti tag name, since he was "joining a gang and all". To this day, he still doesn't know what that friend was getting at. Most people just call him Jackpot, since Seven-Seven-Seven and Triple-Seven are both quite a mouthful.

Iliya Bloom  AKA, "Sentiments"  Appearance  Iliya stands at 5'2", falling a bit on the heavier side. She has a rather voluptuous body, being very top heavy. She has long, wavy, amber hair, her bangs resting in the middle of her forehead, making room for her brown/red eyes. She also has red, oval shaped glasses that rests on the bridge of her nose. Her skin is very pale, and most of the time pretty flushed. Her clothes are rather warm and comfortable. She normally wears a simple gray skirt, a white, button-down shirt, and a light blue cardigan over it. She has simple black flats that she wears almost constantly.  Age  16 ~ Second Year  Sex  Female  School  Blue Dragons  Role/Reputation  Iliya's role is to sneak up on the enemies and take them down as quickly as possible. Since her chi allows her to knock people out, she often is chosen to attack while they're distracted. She's also a great cheerleader. She's positive and believes in everyone even when she doesn't believe in herself. As for her reputation, Iliya is known to be rather caring for the others in her school, but can sometimes be misunderstood because of her inability to get across her meanings clearly.  Combat Abilities  Iliya is not a talented fighter. She's tried to exercise before, but she's never been able to keep it up for a long period of time to get herself into shape. She's very weak, so even if she tried to punch someone, it'd probably only tickle them. As for her weapon, the sides of the glasses, if she turns them a certain way and slides them out, they have a small, sharp metal attached to them. They're not made to kill someone but just injure them.  Chi Ability  Her chi ability is to be able to overwhelm her enemies with unwanted sentiments and feelings that have been harboring their conscious. She's about to force others to experience all of their deepest sentiments at once, leaving them susceptible to mental pain, rendering them unconscious. She can also take away sentiments or feelings of her friends that they've been harboring if something's bothering them.
CjboFKRUYAAjaYz.jpg

Weaknesses  As for her weaknesses, Iliya's incredibly weak, so in combat situations, she couldn't fight effectively. For her to be able to use her chi, she has to have both of her palms on the person's head, meaning she has to get close to successfully use her chi. Because each time she uses her chi, her power is drained, so she can only successfully knock out three people before her chi slowly stops becoming effective and it starts to harm her physically. Her mind starts to get jumbled and her limbs start to not function. If that happens, it takes a few hours to regain the functions, at most a few days. In extrme cases, she'll have to be taken to the hospital. As mentioned in her chi, she can also take away burdens that her friends are dwelling over, but she takes the burdens into her own mind to take them away from her friends.

Personality  Outgoing || Motherly || Clumsy || Unconfident  Iliya is an outgoing girl despite her unconfidence. She always is there to cheer people on and include those who feel left out, not afraid to step forward and try to help people. Although, she is quite unconfident in her advice, seeing as she doesn't want to give the wrong advice and ruin something that might have been fixed if she gave a different suggestion. She's also quite unconfident in her looks, never thinking highly of herself when it comes to her appearance.

Iliya is also a very motherly person, taking care of those who need it, practically throwing herself at them in hopes of helping them. It's quite sad really, how much she cares for people she doesn’t even know that well.

Backstory

Iliya has always been a caring girl, trying her best to help others, which makes it easy for people to take advantage of her, which is where her story starts.

Iliya was never a very popular girl at school. She knew people's names and they knew hers, but she didn't really have a cliché she belonged to, nor did people want to hang out with her. Back then, she was shy and awkward, and a bit desperate to have friends. A few years, it went on with her saying hi to people in the hallways, but her inevitably feeling lonely. That is, until an exchange student transferred to her school, Miki, and immediately became Iliya's friend.

They hung out and did everything together. Homework, shopping, going to the movies, sleeping, literally everything they needed to do, they did together. Iliya developed confidence because of her, she learned so much that made her the way she is because of Miki, and they were best friend for the longest time... but once they got into their last year of elementary school, something changed.

Because Iliya was starting to become less shy and awkward, more people took a liking to her, and Miki didn't like that. She started to control Iliya. She slowly started to cut off anyone that was trying to get close to Iliya, guilt tripping her into staying because she threatened to hurt herself if Iliya left her. Being the caring girl that Iliya is, she couldn't put herself in a position to hurt her best friend, so she allowed Miki to cut off everyone but her. She kenw it wasn't the right thing to do, but Iliya thought that if she could help her in any way, she could make things better and turn them back the way they were.

It went on like that for two years, Iliya continuously trying to help her friend out, hoping she could change her... but she soon realized she couldn't and that her being there was only making it worse.  She finally told Miki that she couldn't be her friend anymore, in which she responded three words that Iliya would never be able to forget, "I hate you."

Iliya definitely took a turn after Miki told her that. Her best friend for five years was gone and Iliya, who had been trying so hard to help her friend, had done the opposite. She figured that leaving her alone would be the best course of action, so she taught herself how to be independent again, seeing how she was completely dependent on Miki at the time.

After a few weeks of practice, she was fine. She had wonderful groups of friends who supported her and she thought she was going to be just fine without Miki... until she decided to make her life a living hell. She spread rumors about Iliya, making her friends turn against her just to get revenge on Iliya. Almost every day she would come home crying until her parents decided that they were going to move far away from Miki.

Soon, Iliya arrived in Shima City, still a bit distraught about not being able to help someone she cared about, but learning that she still wanted to try to help others. Iliya learned that she developed a chi that she could use to take away the pain of her friends if they're going through a hard time. She never wanted anyone to go through the same pain Miki put her through. Relationships

Other  Iliya has a soft spot for barrettes

Solomon 'Swolomon' Dunbar
Titan

Appearance
Solomon is tall. Very, very tall. He stands at a proud 6'11, very well towering over everyone he knows, and thankfully he isn't growing anymore. The male is like a goliath in terms of body: every part of him seems to be sculpted and there isn't one area untouched by muscle, so he's pretty darn large. Face wise, the word to sum him up is intimidating (Although, what isn't intimidating by a nearly 7 foot man?); his piercing blue eyes feel like they could easily cut through steel with just a glance and it doesn't help that he's constantly glaring at anyone who passes his way. His hair is a blond colour, and the locks are always slicked back by gel so it never gets in his eyes. Both of his ears are also pierced, although he only wears his hoops when going into combat. Any other time they are just in his pocket.

Ultimately, this dark skinned male can be summed up as a terrifying giant that looks like he could batter your brains out at any second.

Age
18 ~ 3 (Missed a year thanks to life)

Sex
Male ~ Anything-he-can-gush-over-sexual

School
Blue Dragons

Role/Reputation
Solomon has no real use to be honest... He can't sneak thanks to his large frame nor can he hide and listen out for info. However, he makes an amazing scare tactic, and is very handy for proclaiming fights with rival gangs or protecting others. I mean, if you saw him yelling out that Dragons wanted to take you on, would you try and beat the crap out of him? Nah, I didn't think so.

Alias wise, he's always been tall and rather uncreative with nicknames (He once nicknamed a girl 'Egg' because she always ate them when she could) so Titan just seemed fitting in his eyes.

Combat Abilities
Solomon may be slower than your average ninjer, but man can he pack a punch. Thanks to how large he is, his attacks carry huge power and strength, and thanks to his oversized fists and feet he can tend to get a hit on an opponent even if they're trying to sidestep out of the way. The male, much like Steph, doesn't care too much for blades and would much rather punch his way through a wall or two, so his primary weapon is spiked gauntlets or anything he could steal (read his chi for info on this). Long distance wise, he carries coins for him to throw and harm others (YEAH IT SOUNDS WEIRD BUT READ THE CHI OKAY).

Chi Ability
Solomon has ferrokinetic chi abilities, and thus can use and move metal until his heart's content. In simpler terms, he's somewhat like a magnet. If he extends his hand, Solomon can easily rip a metal weapon an opponent is using from their grip and use it against them or even bend it completely out of shape, rendering it unusable. Not only this, but he can also pick up stray coins from the ground and use them as small weapons, hurtling them at breakneck speeds. So if you fight with the likes of shurikens, I'd recommend leaving them at home otherwise you'll have them chasing you.

Another thing to note is that if you're wearing anything metallic, you're pretty much screwed. Depending on how heavy, how much you have on or if it can be tugged off, Solomon can easily pull you towards him and abuse you all he wants if you're head to toe in metallic objects, and although it can be harder to pull you in when you're heavier, it can still be done. All in all though, Solomon is definitely a force to be reckoned with.

Weaknesses
Stealth - This guy is the size of an elephant, do you really think he can sneak around efficiently?

Fire - Fire can melt the metal he uses, and although he could mold something out of the metallic liquid, it's gonna take too long and too much chi to be worth it

Girls, women and cute people - ... Is this sexist? I dunno, but if you're a female and he has to fight you, this poor guy will get incredibly flustered and hesitant. It's not like he thinks a woman can't beat his ass- watching Tsu he knows how strong a woman can actually be- but he just feels... Uncomfortable and awkward. Don't even get me started on if you're cute because oh gosh, he's gonna be a wreck.

Personality
Despite his rough, terrifying and serious appearance, Solomon is really just a misunderstood teddy bear. He's a man of few words, finding himself getting flustered if he has to talk for long periods of time. Usually if he can say a word or two to get something he would like, he'll only say those two words, point at the object and glare at you until you hand it over. In correlation to this, his mood can also swing pretty quickly. His mind is like a single track, then again, *SJW voice* what man isn't? Anyways, his moods do come and pass quickly, and he's not all that good with expressing how he feels. He'd much prefer to sew or something than ponder on such matters after all.

Continuing onwards, Solomon may be very gruff and straight to the point, but in reality he's just a big old sap. The male loves nothing more than seeing a smile on someone's face- oh man, bonus points if they're adorable- and while he may huff or grumble if he's the one responsible, the feeling of delight that bubbles inside him is like the best thing ever. He tends to 'unconsciously' go out of his way for others just for that feeling alone, although he would never admit to like giving out his hand to aid the needy. He'd rather not be seen as a pushover, after all, and he likes knowing that people respect him. His size definitely helps in getting the respect he earns, but there's also his tenancy to guard anyone who is in trouble or just too weak. He makes it his duty to see that they're okay, and even if the time they've been suffering through has come to an end, sometimes he'll leave the person a little gift just to show he's still looking out to them. Sure, these kinda intimate things embarrass the daylights out of Solomon, but this giant truly holds a heart of gold, and it's nice to have people looking up or not being intimidated by his presence.

History
Solomon didn't really have the best start to life... From an early age his parents decided they didn't want him, and so was thrown into an orphanage in the West district. He's lived most of his life there, watching as other children and friends were taken and put into various foster homes or being adopted. It was a little sad for such a young boy, and he quickly drew himself in and refused to talk to others in fear that they would soon leave him too. The dark skinned male feared that he would never be adopted, something that would have him crying at night, however, thankfully, this worst nightmare of his never lasted! At age seven he was finally brought out of that building and into a loving home.

His guardians were an old husband and wife, both around sixty years of age. Of course, seeing them for the first time he was a little shocked. The boy had dreamed that a young lady and man with three other children would be the ones to adopt him, after all, but he was still immensely happy. For the first few months with living with them, he was rather shy; the majority of his day would be spent in his room or hiding under a table, just watching the old couple, but once he grew used to them and their routine, he opened up a little more. Instead of cooping up in his bedroom and reading, he now would stay by the fire with the couple as they taught him how to sew and knit. Sure, they realised a young male shouldn't be doing such things, but Solomon did seem genuinely interested in the activity, and so his obsession with sewing began.

The years flew by for the small family; Solomon helped make dresses alongside his mother and trained with his father everyday, harnessing his chi and strength in various exercises by the old teacher. When he had free time, the male would entertain the younger children where he lived by doing 'magic' tricks with his chi as well as braiding the hair of the girls. He fit in very well with the community, and as he grew and learned more, the more he became fond of this little place he grew in as well as his parents. Everything was great, amazing!

... Then the Fire Nation attacked...

Nah, just kidding! The tsunami did. In one huge swoop it took everything and everyone he loved, and while he survived, the two people who meant the most to him didn't... And it seemed he was back at square one again. Alone. Alone and lost once more. So, what did he do? He ran. Ran from the past and his problems. He survived on his own for a while, but of course, a 6'9 male is hard to miss everyday. One night he was discovered by a woman, and she offered him a new home and life in the East district. Sure, the offer was sketchy, but who was he to deny a roof over his head? He followed the woman, and she revealed herself to have had lost a child recently when he had visited a cousin in the West district a few hours before the tsunami happened. Solomon can also recall her laughing, saying the boy had always wanted a bigger brother before fading into silence. It was then he realised, as cheesy as it is, that life wasn't just horrible for him and him alone... It hurt everyone at some stage, but with some support, things do look up. Sure, this woman had a husband and daughter, but at the same time, she had lost something close to her, that whole family did, and the feeling grief has runs through everyone.

From that day two years ago, Solomon has lived the rest of his life in the East district with this new family. In memory of the old couple who took him under their wing, he sews as often as he can as well as helps anyone who needs it. He firmly believes that they're watching over him and granting him strength, and every night he whispers his thanks to their kindness.

Other
Solomon has taken the middle name 'Tommie' as it was what the old couple had tried to change his name to, but they soon stopped after he expressed the desire to keep Solomon.
Ninja, ninja, ninja, ninja, ninja, ninja, ninja. I'm 100% ninja.

Name
Hanako Takigawa
Sparrow

Appearance
This tanned girl stands at an under average 5'3, but what she lacks in height she makes up for in personality. Her eyes are a honey colour and doe shaped, something she says is her best feature, and her hair is a mixture of chocolate and dark chocolate and is always styled into two low twin tails supported by bright red ribbons. Surprisingly enough, she quite the strong girl; growing up on a farm and doing long hours of labour shaped her up into a fit and tough little lassie, and while she doesn't have the muscles to necessarily see this, if you received a punch or kick from Hanako, then boy are you gonna feel it.

Clothing wise, Hanako isn't too fussy as long as she can be somewhat practical and can move easily. Shirts, tracksuit bottoms, shorts, dresses and jeans fit the bill, so nothing too out of the ordinary will ever be worn by her.

Age
17, 2nd year

Sex
Female, pansexual

School
Blue Dragons

Role/Reputation
Being relativity new to the gang, Hanako still has to find her way around and fit in properly, but she'll most likely turn into the girl who runs errands, gets behind the scenes and grabs the dirt from the other gangs with her chi. Her dream in the gang is actually pretty small: she wants to lead the border controls, but she yet has to build up the nerve to actually ask to do a round. For now, she's just the big ball of sunshine you'll meet in the hallways.

Alias wise, Sparrow was chosen as a nod of affection towards the first bird she fell in love with and that Sparrow in her household is used to describe a newbie.

Combat Abilities
Hanako doesn't exactly know how to fight just yet... But she's a very keen and fast learner! If her leaders want her to fight, she'll happily try and join the dojo to grab a few belts and such, but, preferably, she'd rather hold back and stay as far away from the action as possible. Though not her chi, she is quite the young medic, and so she would much rather hold back and be useful in that area than dishing out the hurt. However, due to her farming background, Hanako holds great stamina and endurance, so running is probably her greatest strength.

Chi Ability
Hanako's chi is an illusion based chi, and this means that she can warp and create shapes, creatures or shadows at will. While they are incapable of attacking her enemies, the images are more used as a fear tactic or a distraction.

These images take form as 3d forms and figures, much like Steph's twin being summoned, however unlike the twin these images dissolve if touched, instantly ruining the illusion. The range for this chi is as far as Hanako can see. For example, she could create a beast to peer around a corner and horrify the people standing in the corridor, but if she can't see down that corridor, the creature will simply just stand at the entrance. If she were to roll marbles down to you and 'paint' them as eyeballs by using her chi, they would stay like that until she left the room, and the illusion would be broken. Finally, as pointed out just a sentence ago, if the illusion is printed upon something existing, it won't be removed if you touch it as it is 2d, but if she were to create a bird from thin air, it would vanish if you as much grazed it with your finger. She can, however, hold her creations, but she'll inform that it's simply just like cupping air.

Weaknesses
Fighting - Hanako isn't the most skilled in this area, and while she would like it to stay that way, she knows that she'll have to train to build her strength up if told. But, for now, she's avoiding the dojo as much as possible.

Animals - ... Yeah, there's an animal chi. She can't hurt a creature. Completely out of the question, and while training can be negotiated, hurting a lil baby bunny rabbit? Nuh-uh, not in a million years.

Illusions - Her images are supposed to be terrifying and try and make an enemy hesitate for just a moment for a crucial hit, but if they don't scare anyone, the majority of her use is thrown out of the window. Sure, she might be able to conjure a giant ass sword or even make it appear that her guts are spilling out of her stomach, but if no one is buying it? Welp... Everything will get awkward and she'll have to run and make up a tree and try to hide from her attackers.

Lack of knowledge - You get to know this girl for a while and ask to meet you in a small alleyway? She'd go without hesitation. This girl isn't streetwise in the slightest, and she's gonna need someone by her side quite a bit until she realizes that casually walking into another district isn't the wisest thing to do when you're part of a gang.

Personality
Hanako is just a big ball of sunshine. She's constantly beaming, and it's pretty much her mission in life to make everyone in the same room as her smile. Growing up in the countryside for the majority of her life and out of sight from other children, all she's known is her family, so it's fair to say that she's fairly sheltered and incredibly naïve for her age. Still, despite these, she always grabs the bull by the horns and pushes herself for greatness and enjoyment and she isn't afraid to greet anyone she meets in her animated ways. This girl is surprisingly strong willed as well; her drive to push forward and not be defeated is as strong and sturdy as a bridge. If the brunette is told to do something, she's going to do it to the best of her ability and her loyalty for her gang is a force to be reckoned with. She'd happily die for the gang if it meant everyone would be safe, and she'd walk to her execution with pride and a wide smile.

History
Growing up, Hanako was surrounded by an ever expanding family and rolling hills. The oldest out of nine children, this girl has seen everything you can see with kids as well as helping one grow. When she wasn't babysitting, she would tend to the animals in the farm her parents owned or assist them in loading their produce into a truck for Shima. It was a busy and hard lifestyle, but the girl didn't mind it at all. She loved every minute of growing up on the farm, and she especially enjoyed caring for the animals. For the longest time she believed she was going to grow up to be a vet, but that idea was quickly shot out the window after witnessing a calf having to be put down.

As she grew up in a pretty isolated area and was home schooled on top, the tanned girl never got much human interaction outside of her family. Even though she had quite a few relatives scattered in Shima, there was simply too much to do around the farm to ever visit. Although, when the opportunity presented itself to head to the big city, the girl would leap to the chance when she wasn't busy. She adored everything about the place, and she knew that when she could, she'd buy her own home in one of the districts and stay there forever. Until that happened though, she would save up and work as hard as she could.

Hanako discovered her chi while working one day. It's not a grand story, either. Pretty much, she was feeling rather lonely cleaning out stables and next thing she knew a little blackbird had landed beside her. Upon inspecting the creature and smiling as it followed her silently, she wanted to show her family and eventually bumped into her little sister, offering her to lift the weightless bird. However, instead of it being picked up, the bird melted into the ground like a collapsing tower, completely freaking the two out. Hanako got into trouble for scaring her sister and told to never play such a mean trick again. It didn't stop her; after creating the creature again in the stables, she researched about chi and began to practice controlling it. This ability of hers was her one way ticket out of country life (she believed she could make a fantastic children's magician with her new talent) and boy was she gonna develop it as much as she could.

Around a year ago when visiting her cousins in Shima, Hanako learnt about the Blue Dragon and how they had a gang with gifted members, and it was here that she knew a new door had opened in her life. After a long and hard Summer, she convinced her parents to let her study at the high school and live with her cousins, and the rest is history.

Other
While developing her chi, Hanako taught herself how to act in order to fool others. Wile she isn't the best around, she can be quite convincing.

Here I come, world!~

June has long dark hair and can often be found with scratches and bruises on her knuckles from punching stuff. She's sort of tall for a girl, 5'11, and if she ever wore heels, which she would never do, she'd be well over 6ft. June fancies herself as an "old school" gangster, so she both battles in and hangs out in the purple outfit above. She also has a similar getup that is completely blue. Like old school Dragon ladies, she wraps up her chest.

Blue Dragons

Role/Reputation

June is known to be one of the more rough and tumble in your face Dragons. While the majority of the crew is calm and disciplined, there are the few like June who behave more like thugs than samurai. But they aren't without their honor. June is one such ninja. As one of the more volatile members, she's often utilized in turf wars and threatening others. And as you can probably guess, she's also known to get into trouble with teachers. She's been suspended quite a bit.

Combat Abilities

June's primary combat style is highly dependent on grapples. She's an excellent wrestler, and her favorite styles are Sumo and Judo. She'll generally just use her palms and fists instead of actual weapons, though part of her style includes disarming others so she isn’t above using her opponents’ weapons against them. Juniper excels in pins and holds, she loves to get up close and personal.

Chi Ability

Chinese Zodiac Chi: June can channel the abilities and characteristics of the twelve animals of the Chinese Zodiac. When channeling one of these animals, their physical characteristics, such as their ears and tails, manifest in an ethereal form on her body. Only one animal can be channeled at a time Unlike animal based Chi such as Keimi, Lucy, and Oliver’s abilities, each animal June channels essentially results in one specific move, some of which are more useful than others. These abilities are enhanced in strength depending on what year it is.

- Dog Move: Enhances June’s hearing a few seconds.

Weaknesses

While June excels in grapples and defensive combat, she isn't great at going on the straight up offensive. However due to her hotheaded nature, she goes on the offensive quite a bit during combat, and can often devolve into straight up brawling with no technical skill. And though she has a lot of power behind her punches, a deft opponent can easily use her wild style against her.

Because June doesn't use a weapon and relies heavily on grabbing dudes, people that can't be grabbed like Glasper or people that would be dangerous to grab like Suzumaki could easily fuck her up as well.

As for Chi weaknesses, like all other students her abilities are limited by her youth. Switching animals has a bit of a reload time, which she usually compensates for by never staying in one form for extended periods of time. Typically once she completes a move she’ll stop channeling the animal. As a more general weakness, June's abilities are extremely limited in comparison to people whose sole abilities are based around those animals or their concepts. For instance, in Dog form, her sense of hearing is weaker than Keimi's or Remy’s. In Ox form, her strength is far less than Chikage's.

Personality

Juniper is far from your stereotypical calm, composed, and disciplined Dragon. She's a whirlwind of chaos leaving broken beer bottles and bones in her wake. Perhaps she's more gangster than ninja, but she isn't without her code of honor. In fact, she takes that code very seriously. It just so happens that violence has a pretty prominent place in her code. She's always looking for a brawl or trouble to get into. As a self proclaimed tomboy, she exerts her dominance wherever she goes. She's belligerent as fuck and quick to act rashly. Deep down she's a very emotional soul, which is part of the reason for her volatility. She often shields her more sensitive side and pretends that she hasn't cried since she was a baby, or that she's ever been sad or insecure. June’s the kind of gal who likes to show out. She’s that person who shouts rude things from moving vehicles. She’s big on teasing and joking around and often makes her epic the boobs the center of attention whenever she can. June likes to catcall both men and women and make lewd gestures toward them. She’s known for being very sexually aggressive, especially toward her friends under the guise of just “messing around” and whatnot.

Backstory

Juniper was born into the Blue Dragon gang, both her father and mother are members of the adult branch. So were their parents, and their parents before them. She and her little brother were expected to join up as well, and Juniper embraced her destiny from a very early age. Her parents were… well, particular, and their parenting style was more like that of two very strict senseis. Juniper was a late bloomer when it came to her Chi. Her brother unlocked his before her and he was three years younger. It got to a point that her parents became so impatient with her inability to unlock it that they resorted to getting pretty physical with her whenever she fucked something up. Got a D on a test? Bitch slapped. Spilled a drink on the carpet? Bitch slapped. Incapable of performing a new throw she learned yesterday? Bitch slapped. Bitch slapped some kid at school for teasing her about her height? Bitch slapped.

Like many children who suffer abuse at home, Juniper became a bully in her younger years and depending on who you ask at Blue Dragon High, they might still say she is. However, Juniper didn’t see her parents treatment of her as “abuse”, she saw it as necessary. In her mind, they were doing it to toughen her up so she could reach her full potential. She was ashamed it took her ages to learn how to use her Chi when her little brother had caught on earlier in life. Her brother was the golden child and she was the problem child. Her brother even had a similar ability to her own, only his dealt with the Western Zodiac, not the Chinese.

However, her brother would never make it to join the High School branch of the gang. He was killed when June was a first year by Spectres. Coincidentally, the tsunami occurred within the same year, and in Juniper’s mind it was what the Red District deserved for killing someone so young. She feels no remorse for them, and if she were to come across a Spectre’s grave who died in the tsunami, she’d probably pop a squat over it. Ever since her brother died, her parents started acting weird. Her dad got more violent than usual, her mom just seemed to stop caring about everything, and both of them buried themselves into their work. With her parents out of the house so often and her little brother gone, a strong sense of loneliness developed within her and she began to spend most of her time at Ascension in the company of others. She even sleeps there most nights.

Name: Brigade LeBleau (AKA: Dust)

Appearance:  Brigade is a young boy with medium-length red hair, persistently flushed cheeks and wandering eyes; highlighting an inability to focus. He has a rich French lineage, and in contrast to stereotypes, has a very prominent lack of body hair. This really calls attention to his unblemished skin, which is fair-toned and often shares the same blush as his cheeks. He has an average, lithe build and is naturally slender, which can be attributed to his bird like appetite (he eats like a handful every two hours). He doesn’t exercise often, but is flexible and would probably fit well into an intermediate yoga-class.

As far as clothing goes, most often Brigade is spotted in his school uniform, with a loose-fitting blue cloak draped over it. He boasts this same cloak during class, and while it has surfaced as an issue with school administration in the past, it is claimed to be tied to his religion. It seems ridiculous, but with the accompaniment of a pointy-wizard cap, Brigade has managed to create a unique persona among the Blue Dragons.

Age: 15

Sex: Male

Sexuality: Homosexual

School: Blue Dragons ~ 1st year

Role/Reputation: With a poor handle of his Chi, and a quickly rising notoriety, Brigade feels that his start with the Blue Dragons has been unsuccessful. He is compliant, approachable and easily impacted, but simply does not feel useful. He doesn't mind shadowing those above him, and offering help in anyway he can; even if it is just something simple. As of right now, he doesn't have an assigned (or implicated) role, but would really like to assist Keagan in his work.

Combat Abilities: Bound to Brigade's hip, shrouded by his cloak, is a small cloth bag full of powder. It is hidden away, and when combat beckons Brigade, he simply takes a handful of powder and throws into the enemy's eyes. It is a rather simple and repetitive trick, but provides him a window of opportunity to put space between him and the enemy. Now granted, this probably wouldn't work against Remy, but surely it is still irritating.  Aside from this, Brigade is very quick on his feet and employs bunny-like tactics in combat, hopping away from the enemy and creating various obstacles. He is not great in close-quarters, and has the most strength when approaching an enemy in secrecy.

Chi Ability: Brigade can turn solid (non-living) objects, regardless of their material, into a gritty powder. The amount of powder manifested is relative to pre-existing size, and the size also equates to the amount of Chi needed for conversion. While the transformation itself is instant, Brigade does not have much experience with his ability, and must take time to channel his Chi through the desired object. The chi expands from the center, and this means that eagerness or haste will result in only a portion of the object being converted. However, the powder that is created retains the materials of its predecessor and can be used in various ways.

This means that  he can create wood-dust (assuming it was from a wooden object and not a tree), or even gunpowder; by converting sulfur, charcoal and potassium nitrate. However, in its current state, its most practical use is the displacement of enemies or even acquiring entry points into buildings.

Weaknesses: In combat, Brigade can utilize his Chi ability to nullify weapons, break free from enemies or create himself an escape route. With that in mind, he is particularly weak against elemental and physical Chi. His power is meant to break down barriers, not build them, so projectiles must be manually avoided. Those who have enhanced physical combat make this even more difficult, as his only option is to escape from them or seek assistance.

Personality: Brigade has this continuous star-struck look on his face, to the annoyance of most, giving the impression that he is not listening. However, he simply struggles with non-verbal cues, and takes longer to process and evaluate information. He is kind, as much as you can be among the turmoil of this world, and obsessed with the idea of love. This obsession doesn’t lead him to chase after anyone that bats an eye, he simply desires a relationship: to have someone’s devoted attention. A strong friendship would most likely quench this desire, if the other person has very clearly stated their intentions. (tbh he is pretty susceptible to Archie)

As far as hobbies go, Brigade does not have many, but has found quite the unique way of incorporating his Chi Ability into art. Colorful objects turn into colorful dust, and colorful dust can be arranged with glue and made into brilliant pieces. He does this for fun, and often gives the art to his friends; selling it has never crossed his mind. He is far from greedy, and can be quite stingy when it comes to both money and resources, and would be a great financial adviser.

Client: Well we’re looking to take out a loan, so we can buy-
Brigade: no.

Backstory:

Most of Brigade’s childhood was spent participating in ceremonies, along with his family, who are apart of a seven-god polytheistic religion named: Septanity. Each ceremony consisted of the same thing, the lighting of the candles, a scripted prayer and then the clasp of the emerald Altar stone. The Altar stone had been passed down for generations, by previous worshipers, and was the single most important object of the religion. It symbolized purity, the watchful eye of the gods and the future that was to come. However, with one single clench, these things seemed to of been stripped away; turned to dust.

Brigade couldn’t recall how it happened, but he knew there was nothing he could do to fix it. Everyone had seen it, and all witnessed his (and his family’s) banishment. At the measly age of ten, he had become cursed and felt he no longer held his place in this world. His family remained supportive, they even continued to practice in privacy, but the truth was that Septanity was beginning to wither away. Most hadn’t even heard of the religion, because of its rigorous rules and exclusively, it was a novelty. It condemned heterosexuality, outside of breeding seasons, and encouraged its participants to neglect those in need: the world had its own way of assisting them.

Eventually, Brigade’s version of the religion had become skewed and so far from actuality that he decided to quit practicing it. He kept the values that had largely impacted him, and began to hone what resulted in his banishment: his Chi Ability. Luckily, he couldn’t of been born into a better place for just that, mediating in the gardens the same gardens that he once prayed in. High school was a good change for him, the art club keeps him busy and inspired. Sometimes he trades art with other people, and has quite the collection of depictions of him as a powerful wizard.
