One thousand years ago- The Shinigami and Quincy nearly went to war until the 12 division and Quincy scientists managed to come up with a way to make Quincy powers cleanse souls instead of destroy them. Peace is achieved and Quincy forces actually work with the soul society to maintain balance.
One Hundred Years Ago- The Mutant Vasto Lordes made by Aiken goes on a rampage Killing several soul reapers and injuring several others Until Fifth Company Captain Bigoro Urameshi clashed with the monster slaying it but becoming cursed. In an effort to seal the curse his wife gave her life and he lost most of his power as his zanpakuto changed costing him the rank of captain. Aizen is captured as Gin Ichimaru betrays him, Tosen dies in the conflict.
Ten Years Ago- Sosuke Aizen Escapes containment and flees with no Idea where he went. Strangely powerful hollows are reported in the human world by quincy forces. Two Captains are sent to find him and their positions as 2nd & 12th Captains are filled under their own recommendations.
Ten Days Ago- Mysterious portals open in the seireitei dropping monsters the likes of which the seireitei has never sceen. Task forces are gathered as research is done and three dozen Shinigami prepare to change the world.
