Personality: Bigoro is an incredibly laid back man often to his own detriment. He seems to have little to no motivation for anything with the exception of Getting Drunk, Eating, and Sleeping. The Rare moments he does get into arguments or conflicts he is stubborn as a Donkey refusing to change his stance. Outside of conflict or napping he is often the silent pillar in the back observing those around him without ever really getting involved, and seeming to not pay attention despite him actually very closely monitoring the situation. He has a good bit of respect throughout the older members of the soul society, but he has recently been getting into trouble for sleeping while on duty, something that allowed the mysterious enemy to get the drop on him.

History:
Having entered the soul society and finished his training as a Shinigami just before the Black Plague tore through the human world Bigoro graduated into a very busy time for Shinigami and a dangerous time as well for hollows had enough souls to eat their fill and grow powerful. Despite all this No one who truly knew Bigoro Had much concern for him, after all he was a once in a millennium kind of Shinigami, the kind of man who could do it all. He was strong, he was a brilliant tactician, a master of kendo, a master of both Hado & Bakudo Literally no one forsaw him having any trouble and they were right in their estimates. Bigoro shone bright in his early years smiting powerful hollows, even menos, with an ease that made him a prime candidate for the upper ranks.

Two hundred years into his career he was suggested for the rank of captain of the fifth company after his predecessor stepped down, a rank he took with humility and great honor. Yet that was when the whispers started, people were a bit upset by how easily he progressed and upon discovering a unique mutation in his soul they began to think of him as a freak and a lucky man who only got this far because of an unfair advantage. This advantage was known as the Wild Soul, and it was a strange and rare mutation that caused his Spiritual pressure to rise in times of extreme duress, but it rose quickly, uncontrollably, and was nearly impossible to bring back down. For the longest time Bigoro had relied on a combination of that ability and his talent as a soul reapers to put his foes down before he ever went too far to reign himself in. Needless to say the news of his condition would spread and at least on good thing came from it, he met his future wife Karin a reasercher from the 12th division.

From then the two were hardly ever apart except for when they were busy with their responsibilities. The two were blessed with almost three hundred years of joy before the world finally caught up with them and tragedy struck. Aizen unleashed his Vasto Lorde Experiment and it managed to deal some serious damage to the team it encountered which just so happened to Include Karin, fortunately Gin a lowly third seat at the time had saw fit to inform his captain who promptly spread fhe word and Aizen was captured, his accomplice Tosen was killed, and Bigoro Faced down the Vasto lordes emerging victorious but with a whole new problem having arisen. Bigoro’s Wild Soul had grown too large over the battle and he had lost control. It continued to grow and was threatening to destabilize and possibly destroy the seireitei. Head captain Yamamoto was about to Have him slain when his injured wife Karin revealed a solution she was working on for his problem, one that was not quite done as the cost was still far too high yet she had little choice her injuries were so severe that she could either save Bigoro Or they could both perish and she made her choice.

Using her own Soul and Zanpakuto as the catalyst she fused herself to Bigoro’s Zanpakuto Creating Kekkon No Kizuna and sealing Bigoro’s wild soul within it. The drastic change in his power caused him to lose the rank of captain, which he would’ve stepped down from anyway, in fact he would have walked away altogether if Captain Shunsui hadn’t spoken with him and given him a purpose, live his best life for the woman who gave hers so he could. Since then Bigoro has done as he wishes with little regard for anyone or thing around him, yet recently he has begun to wonder if that is in fact his best or if he collide be doing far more. That thought had him fighting a red winged lizard and then got him on the task force red…he is still figuring out if this is a good thing or not.

Once initiated Bigoro’s Blade dissolves and its glowing shards become chains attached to four incredibly heavy Balls that each weigh ten tons, The ends of them will shackle onto Bigoro one on each wrist and one on each Ankle. The Chains attached to them can increase in length seemingly without end and while they can be broken the chains will nearly instantly repair themselves and doing so requires tremendous destructive power. As the battle carries on Bigoro’s Spiritual energy will neither rise nor fall but the Balls will grow heavier and heavier. Bigoro can swing these like flails to strike his foes, Wrap them up and weigh them down, or use Shun-po to bombard a location with four strikes backed by tremendous force. He can retract the chains at will and the spheres are the perfect size to be palmed allowing him to bludgeon foes with them in melee combat.

Shikai Techniques-
Yorokobi (Joy)- Twirling the orbs attached to his wrist as if they were weightless Bigoro shrinks the chain slowly causing the speed of the spin to increase drastically before he rapidly extends them slamming two super heavy weights at nearly the speed of a shun-po.

Kanashimi (Sorrow)- After running around the battlefield with his leg chains extending the entire time Bigoro will rapidly retract his Chains causing them to pull the incredibly heavy weights back to him smashing any and everything in their path that can be smashed. As an added effect it can trip up and even cripple the legs of a foe.

Hanataba (The Bouquet)- Using shun-po to move his foe between himself and his weights at the exact same time he is retracting the chains resulting in the heavy weights flying at the foe in front of him at supersonic speeds. He will often grab them to hold them in place for each orb.

Once activated the Chains of The orbs dissolve taking the form of Bigoro’s late wife’s spirit. Whose ethereal form briefly wraps her arms around her husbands neck lovingly before it is scattered by the Tremendous Surge in Spiritual energy that erupts out of Bigoro. Unleashing the legendary Reiatsu that was sealed within him over a century ago His physical attributes are dialed up to eleven making him Faster, Stronger, And more Durable than nearly any other shinigami with the exception of a few captains. This power seems to grow as the battle progresses, tearing and damaging Bigoro’s body and the surrounding environment as he is unaccustomed to such power.

This however is not his bankai simply the sealing properties of his Zanpakuto Breaking down. The true State of His bankai is the Orbs which did not dissolve rather they turned Golden and seem to be liquid. Within them is the insanely massive amounts of reiatsu that has been taken from Bigoro in an attempt to seal his abnormal power. In his bankai form these orbs become immensely powerful bombs capable of leveling entire Cities and even mountain ranges if used all together. However after each orb is used its fragments will become chains that will begin to restrict Bigoro’s Reiatsu and lower his power upon the fourth detonation the final chains are reattached and his own Reiatsu is brought down to his normal levels. His Zanpakuto then Goes Dormant for an unknown period of time.

Personality: Soft-spoken and kind, Ito is motivated by a strong sense of duty and honor. She finds genuine enjoyment in serving Soul Society; even when off-duty, friends and colleagues might spot her running errands for the elderly or telling stories to children. She carries herself with a serene sort of composure and is not easily drawn into unnecessary quarrels. That said, shows of cruelty or deceit are the quickest paths to rousing her anger. Ito holds protocol in high respect and will obey orders from a superior even if her instincts tell her otherwise.

History:
Ito died during the late Edo period at the time of the Tenpō famine, not that she remembers the details. What she does remember are the streets and alleys of one of West Rukongai’s poorer districts, roaming around with a pack of similarly-aged children. Being the quickest on her feet, Ito was responsible for stealing whatever their patchwork family needed, usually clothes or baubles, but also rarely, food.

One day, a Shinigami named Jinsuke caught her in the act. Though angry at first, he recognized the fact that Ito was stealing food meant she needed to eat, which in turn meant a considerable spiritual pressure from one so young. Intrigued, he adopted her into his household with the eventual goal of sending her to the Spiritual Arts Academy.

Ito’s gratitude towards Jinsuke quickly morphed into hero worship. Not only was he a powerful fighter, his notions of justice and duty were iron-clad, and he often waxed poetic about his ideals to Ito over the dinner table. Having only known the trials of basic survival until now, the concept of living for others, of serving a purpose greater than oneself, was extremely galvanizing. Ito was all but Jinsuke in miniature by the time she began her official training as a Shinigami.

While her swordsmanship was about average for her class, Ito excelled at kidō and had some fame among her peers for her exceptional speed, sometimes racing literal circles around her sparring partners until she found an opening for a decisive blow. Upon graduation, she found a place in the 10th Division.

When Aizen’s Vasto Lordes attacked, Ito was still a rank and file Shinigami. She wasn’t involved in the fight, but Jinsuke perished. He fell protecting his comrades, she was told. Ito grieved the loss of her adoptive big brother, then rose through the ranks with his ideals held firmly in her heart.

The sudden assault on the Seireitei blindsided Ito as badly as it did everyone else. Rather than face the enemy directly, she focused on rescuing the many wounded, utilizing her high speed to zip in and out of danger with her bloodied comrades in tow. No few lives saved were attributed to her actions.

She assumes this is why her name was put forth for the counter task force. Ito is apprehensive about the coming mission, but she is ever a loyal soldier. Duty won’t allow her to refuse.

Shikai- When released, Haru Suzume takes on the form of a naginata with feather-like etchings running along the shaft. The tassel below the blade is a light green color, while the body of the polearm is white.

Shikai Techniques-

Beak and Talons:
Swinging Haru Suzume creates a powerful wind that can manifest as either blunt or slashing damage. The wind disperses quickly with distance, so this is meant to be a close-range attack. Its destructive force is immense, however, and especially good at rending heavy armor.

Catching Worms: Swinging Haru Suzume creates gusts of wind that form into dozens of small, bird-like projectiles. Their power is lower than Beak and Talons, but they can strike at longer distances and cover a broader area.

Nest: Ito spins Haru Suzume, surrounding herself and nearby allies in a dome of swirling wind. The winds provide high defense against physical and spiritual attacks. Anything that touches the dome directly is liable to be shredded to bits.

Personality: Driven, competitive to a fault and extremely stubborn, Ren thinks ability should speak for itself and becomes extremely frustrated when she perceives herself being held back or other people advancing due to things like connections or traditions, unfortunately this is quite a common experience for Ren: her abrasive personality and disinterest in making friends means she rarely has anyone to advocate for her and clashes frequently with superiors. At her core Ren has a strong sense of fair play: what she really wants is a level playing field for her self and others and she secretly nurses a grudging respect for people who are legitimately more capable than her or even just giving their all. Although most people are not game to try it due to her difficult personality and reputation Ren is actually fairly easy to manipulate, subtly implying that something is impossible for her is an excellent way to ensure she bashes her head against it until she meets with success.
History:
Many souls who end up in the Rukongai at first find themselves alone, but are adopted into a makeshift family and find some measure of belonging and affection, not all of them though. In the harsh outer wards many of the groups who scoop up newly arrived souls aren't families looking for new members but gangs looking to forcibly conscript to grow their numbers and influence. When Ren arrived in Soul Society she was picked up by one of those gangs, thrust into a dog eat dog world of cut throat competition and violence. Ren learned to fend for herself early on and to use cunning and savagery to circumvent her disadvantage in height and the constant hunger in her stomach that didn't seem to bother the other children. Ren climbed her way up from a beggar sent out by the gang to exploit her youthful looks to a lookout, then a pickpocket and eventually she was more or less a full blown bandit. That was around the time Ren's gang got a little too big for their boots and attracted the attention of the Seireitei, resulting in a brutal suppression raid that rounded up most of the members, including Ren.

The charges laid against Ren were likely to result in a long stay in prison, but when her shinigami captors watched Ren fight off a cell full of adult prisoners to furiously scarf down everyone else's rice ration was well as her own they realized she might have enough spiritual pressure to make a promising shinobi and offered her the choice of attending the academy instead of serving out her sentence. Ren leaped eagerly at the chance, besides wanting to leave her miserable, hard scrabble existence behind she was enraptured by the power displayed by the shinigami who had captured them and determined to have it for herself.

Ren took to the strict, rigorous discipline of academy life like a brick to water, but she was too stubborn to quit and talented enough not to get booted out just for being difficult so she toughed it out: catching up to and eventually overtaking most of the wealthier students that looked down their nose at her. By graduation time Ren had carved out a niche for herself as an aggressive, close quarters specialist who could compensate for her lack of precise technique with a clever mixture of raw power and cunning. Ren and everyone who knew her assumed she was a shoe in for squad 11, a move Ren looked forward to, being more suited to the rowdy, might makes right atmosphere of the direct combat squad.

When Ren got her division assignment however she was shocked to find out she was now a member of division six, t he most refined and orderly of them all, held up as model of dignity and justice for all of Soul Society and lead by the very image of nobility and discipline, Byakuya Kuchiki. IF Ren had taken to the academy like a brick to water she took to division 6 like an anvil: she hated more or less everyone she met instantly and they all hated her as well: Almost from day one Ren was being pulled up by her superiors in the division for improper attitude or disregarding protocol, or some made up infraction designed as an excuse to punish her, Ren hated every second of being in division 6, but she was too stubborn too quit and for whatever reason the captain never allowed any of his subordinates to outright dismiss her, although he never intervened in any other punishments handed down to her. So Ren persisted, stubbornly honing her skills until she was stronger than most of the seated officer's in the division buts being passed over for promotion again and again due to her poor record.

Then one night, the tranquil atmosphere of the sixth division barracks was shattered. Strange portal opened all over the Seireite, disgorging even stranger creatures that immediately attacking. Ren had been training that night, as had become her custom and was less surprised by the creatures than most of her comrades: she had also been itching to cut loose and fight something after weeks of being saddled with tedious paperwork so the attack seemed almost like a gift to her. Ren activated her recently acquired shikai and she and her armoured doppelganger tore into the attacking creatures like creatures themselves. Ren remembers slaying several of the creatures and sustaining some moderate injuries but then suddenly blacking out. It was only later, when Ren awoke in chains in the division 6 holding cells that she was informed of what happened. Ren had lost control of her zanpakuto, through its contest mechanic that she had not fully understood at that time and the sword spirit had gone berserk, defeating several more of the creatures but then turning on the other shinigami while Ren lay unconscious. All told half a dozen of division six's rank and file were badly injured and Ren's zanpakuto was only subdued when the lieutenant took the field, holding it down until it ran out of energy.

Ren assumed she had finally blown her last chance with divison six, if not with the Seireitei as a whole, but instead of being outright dismissed she was instead eventually transferred to one of the newly established task forces created to strike back against the creatures. Ren assumes this whole arrangement is merely a more politically expedient way of getting rid of her: shuffling her off to be killed on some suicide mission instead of dealing with the embarrassment of one of their own losing control. Nevertheless, Ren is stubbornly determined to see her way through this. If this is supposed to be a suicide mission than she'll break the rules like always and come back alive to rub it in everybody's faces.

Shikai- Ren's zanpakuto actually has two forms: a suppressed, easier to control form activated by calling the zanpakuto by a false name and its more dangerous true form.

Uejinikage is Ren's false shikai, when this state is activated her zanpakuto appears to burst into black shards, which are attracted forcefully ont Ren's arms to form a pair of black, metal gauntlets with sharp, claw like fingers that extend up to just below the elbows. Uejinikage's claws are sharp enough to be used as highly effective melee weapons and the gauntleets are sturdy enough to block incoming attacks as well, but their primary is somewhat vampiric in nature. When the claws tear flesh and blood from an enemy the constituent reishi in the tissue is pulled apart and absorbed by whichever gauntlet landed the blow, this energy is then transferred to the other gauntlet where it can be released as an energy blast: the more energy has been abosrbed, the more powerful the resulting blast. Ren can only absorb energy in this fashion if she actaully inflicts wounds of some sort, if an opponent has armour, some kind of barrier or is simply resilient enough that her attacks are ineffective than she gains nothing and shallow or glancing blows absorb only a modest amount of energy.

Hangyaku no kage is Ren's true zanpakuto, it is a potentially more powerful weapon, but much more difficult to control so Ren avoids using it whenever possible. When called by its true name Ren's zanpakuto shatters and reforms itself into a pair of gauntlets as before, however in this form Ren only receives one of the gauntlets while the other gauntlet manifests a figure clad in black armour and begins acting independently. Ren cannot control the armoured figure in any meaningful sense, but it does attack her enemies and ignore her allies generally. The gauntlets properties are similar to those displayed in the previous form, each gauntlet can absorb energy from wounds it inflicts which is then transferred to the other gauntlet however this energy can longer be released as an energy blast.

What isn't apparent to most observers is that when Hangyaku no Kage is activated it initiates a kind of game, a power struggle between Ren and Hangyaku no Kage. While fighting Ren and the armoured figure are competing to see who can transfer the most energy to the other competitor's gauntlet by injuring their mutual foes, the first competitor to completely fill up their opponent's gauntlet's capacity is declared the victor. If Ren wins, then the figure disappears and Ren receives its gauntlet and armour, as well as the enregy that had been stored in it. In this form Ren enjoys an all around boost to her power and speed but her defensive capabilities are particularly improved thanks to the armour, she can also launch energy blasts similar to the ones she can launch with Uejinikage. This mode is very temporary however, as it is sustained by the energy stored in the gauntlet, it can only last minutes at best and firing off energy blasts can dramatically shorten this time frame. When the stored energy is exhausted Hangyaku no Kage reverts back to its sealed form and can't be re released until Ren has had time to recover.

On the other hand if Hangyaku no Kage wins the contest things become even more chaotic. When Hangyaku no Kage wins Ren fall unconscious and the armoured figure receives both gauntlets as well as a substantial portion of Ren's remaining Reishi, then it goes completely berserk. After it's victory Hangyaku no Kage mindlessly attacks whatever is closed, be it friend or foe, relying on brute strength and ferocity rather than any semblance of skill or tactics. The armoured figure will act to protect Ren if she is attacked while unconscious but seemingly only to extend its rampage rather than out of loyalty, it can be easily lured away or outwitted leaving her exposed to danger. When Hangyaku no Kage expends its stored energy it reverts back to its sealed form as an ordinary katana while Ren will remain unconscious until she's had time to recover, leaving her extremely vulnerable if the fight has not been resolved.

Shikai Techniques-
Uejinikage techniques

Shadow burst: Ren releases energy stored in one of her gauntlets as a shotgun like burst of energy. This technique has high offensive power but dissipates quickly, making it useless at longer ranges, Ren can also use this technique for quick bursts of speed by aiming it in the opposite direction to the one she wishes to travel.

Shadow bullet: Ren releases energy stored in one of her gauntlets as a compacted, high speed orb. This technique can be used at long distances, though it must be aimed precisely to be effective due to its small size.

Carnage: A crude but effective technique: Ren grabs an opponents with both gauntlets tearing into them and immediately releasing the energy gained as small blasts that weaken their flesh and allow her to dig in even deeper and repeat the process. This technique can rapidly deal grievous damage, Ren can literally tear some opponents to pieces in seconds, but it requires her to close in on an opponent and takes both hands, so Ren has no way to defend herself while performing it. Additionally if an opponent's natural defences are strong enough that Ren can't wound them to begin with then the whole technique is useless.
Hangyaku no Kage techniques
Shadow Mimic: Ren uses shunpo to shadow her own shadow, using Hangyaku no Kage's armoured figure as distraction and cover to manoeuvre into her opponent's blind spot and deliver a sneak

Shadow Jaws: Ren observers Hangyaku no Kage's armoured figure and times her movements with it, launching an attack at the same time as it does to make it more difficult for an opponent to dodge or block both attacks.

Shadow Gambit: A desperate bid to win her contest, Ren digs into her own flesh with her gauntlet, sacrificing her own energy to prevent Hangyaku no Kage from winning and going berserk. The resulting injury is usually serious enough to hamper Ren's abilities in her armoured mode after winning, but this is usually preferable to alternative.

History: "Victory in battle is only worthwhile if the battle actually begins. Cowardice is in ambush and trickery."

Put simply, his achievements are something he wishes to always wear upon his sleeve. He claims his defeats alongside his victories with equal pride. Each day he had met failure and success, more than a fair amount of failure, with a smile and eagerness. This eagerness was what allowed him to even get into the ever violent and tough squad eleven.

Put simply, his eagerness to get beat and give beattings made him able to make his way! He will always regard his time growing in seat number and strength with great pride, beating each seat to a pulp with skill and sheer force~! And the many friends he made! Beating them senseless with the laughter(Read:Cackle) of a man who truely enjoys his life!

And hollows? Oh how he loves them. An ever present threat and looming force he can always trust to have a unique and fun encounter against! At least in the human world, but thats why he likes being out and about, humans have so many wonderful modern ammendities! He only wishes the Soul Society would update to common era type technology! To lay stagnant is to die after all!

Oh, how did he get into the task force? Well, it was simple. When ambushed one is often forced to rely on animal instinct, the most pressing matter, is fight, or flight. Now, in truth, theres many schools of thought on this type of thing, but when faced with a threat, the animal chooses the path of least resistance.

And what happens when the creature who did the ambush becomes the path of least resistance?

Fight is what is chosen.

And it turns out these things die like any other. He only hopes they become sporting, rather than crudely ambushing with no honor. But what can you expect from rodents? Best they let the sun cook them alive than waste his time.

Shikai- The blade keeps the similar shape a katana, but where the blade begins is where the similarities end. For instead of a blade of metal, there rests a blade composed of pure sunlight, blinding to the unaccustomed eye the blade ripples with not only power of the shikai but with glaring heat. The blade sears all it touches, and bestows a burning fire upon all it touches. Despite it's nature of light and heat, the blade still holds against incoming force and can be used as a defensive implement if required.

In the light, sunlight or not, the blade extends and warps to the wielder's will like a whip of pure flame. The fire burns those of whom have uttered a lie or falsehood, knowingly, in recent time (testing shows a day or two) to have the flame burn them particularly harder than those who did not, as if their very skin became covered in oil.

Shikai Techniques-
Hunt the unfaithful: With the light giving extra strength, the user thrusts forwards with great strength, utilizing minute movements and careful swordsmanship to guide the tip of the burning blade like a probing tendril. Capable of striking from low medium range, it is typically used against those who try to stay just out of reach, or as a swift counter attack.

Burst: A simple name for a simple technique, focusing the energy of the sword allows one to cause it to, after a small moment of focusing, blast the flame forth with a explosive result. The size and radius of this explosion is tied to the length of time the blade is charged, while charging, the fire is diminished as it bides it's time.

Bankai- The fire goes out from the sword, revealing a golden blade, shining in it's purity and dancing with light. The fire however, doesn't disappear, as the flame instead focuses about the user. The flame starts small, then bursts for like an eruption, showering the area with a intense glare of light. Hanging above the man's head is the equivalent of a small sun, showering the area with intense heat and light, the user is unaffected by this change in temperature but all foes find themselves boiling alive int his sudden heat. Allies however will find themselves unblinded by the rays, gently warmed by the heat like one might feel in a gentle summer day.

The sun is the truth, and it has come to burn away the lies of the shadows.

Alongside impacting people with the searing heat of a midday desert sun, water is quick to evaporate, blood drying nearly instantly, even in the air as it flakes into the wind.

Bankai Techniques-
Coming Dawn: Channeling the heat of the sun further, the heat grows unbearable even for friends, but for foes a worse fate. Clothes catch aflame, the skin boils and breaks, the eyes begin to water and tremble as the heat accosts them to a point of nearly sizzling! This concentrated effect is close range, but a surrounding effect that can be done in serendipity to swordplay. A simple technique, but deadly if not accounted for. This technique also all but banishes water from the area, ice shriveling with shocking speed.

Blades of Midday Sun: from within a fire nearby, the user can strike with a blade akin to that wielded in his hands, blades of the Taiyō-no-Seijitsu break forth from even a small wick of a match, striking forwards like spines, causing even more havoc should one be the one who has caught flame.

Unerring Light: The light strikes true against all deception, death unerring and certain. This is the singular best attack the user can muster, the miniature sun forfeiting it's form into that of a singular blade of purest light. With a proclamation, the blade leaps forwards with immense speed, striking true against deception and trickery. Against foes who are in a standard state not trigger the effect, the blade is a powerful strike at range, a blade of pure fire and light that burns even when deflected or blocked.

Should the strike connect with a perosn who has infringed upon honor, lied, cheated, back stabbed, blasphemed, the blade holds no bars. The blade strikes through deception, false clones ripped through to seek the original, shadows obscuring banished from the world. Upon hitting the target, the ring explodes, the eruption a massive display of inevitability of truth and the strength of honor... In a particularly overly resplendent display.

Personality:
A reserved and cool-headed woman; Yoriko comes across as a distant figure to most who's thoughts, goals, and motivations are an ever-present mystery. She is noted for her seemingly random bouts of hyper focused interests (or more accurately obsessions) that suddenly spring up and have been know to last her dozens of years. Few things seem to matter to Yoriko when she is in her "focused state" and much else in her life gets pushed to side or forgotten about entirely until she has reached a "mastery" in her chosen obsession or until she has simply lost interest in it. Some of her obsessions have included Hoho, tea ceremony, Shunpo, cooking, Hakuda, her Captain Soi-Fon, and Kido. While this personality quirk has let her master various skills quickly, it often comes at the detriment to her other skills, responsibilities, and social life.

Despite her distanceness and mysterious aura; Yoriko is friendly to most all and is a surprisingly good conversationalist. Few things can legitimately upset or annoy her and she can almost always find at least one shared interest with another person. When not engaged with a current obsession; she usually prefers relaxing activities such as drinking tea, warm sake, fishing, and reading. Her upbringing has made her naturally graceful and refined; most people are instantly able to tell of her highborn upbringing by her manner of speech, movements and mannerisms. Crass, rude, or disloyal behaviors or actions are some of the few things that can upset her and cause Yoriko to give an offending person an icy glare or to simply silently ignore them.

History:
Yoriko was born into the Shihouin Clan, one the four great clans in the Soul Society. The daughter of Yoruichi Shihōin and an unknown father, she is considered and was raised as a princess. Yoriko's childhood and upbringing was the highest of quality and wealth that one can imagine with near all her wants fulfilled besides wishing fewer lessons with tutors, more time with her mother, and unanswered questions about her unknown father. Her mother's influence has given her a more open-minded and tolerating personality compared to most others with a social ranking as high as hers', however she still has moments of confusion when dealing with commoners or poorer environment's norms. After adolescence she choose to join the Gotei 13, primarily because, in her own words, "life was too easy, and I was too bored".

Yoriko has excelled for most of her schooling and career; however she has little interest in pushing her limits, advancement, and gets sidetracked very easily by various and random interests. Originally in the 12th Division, Yoriko was considered an excellent researcher and assistant. She steadily rose through the ranks and was content for several hundred years to achieve nothing more than mediocrity within the 12th Division and maintaining a third seat rank. She however was "forcibly" transferred and promoted to Lieutenant of the 2nd Division ten years ago by the request of the 2nd Division Captain. Yoriko's skills, family history, and aptitude having long been a source of frustration for the 2nd Division that viewed her placement in the 12th as "a gross misuse of personnel". For the last ten years Yoriko has been improving her combat and reconnaissance skills that had largely stagnated while in the 12th Division.

During the most recent attack on the Seireitei, Yuriko was engaged with the mysterious enemy many times primarily as a means of information gathering, distraction, and in order to save the lives of fallen comrades. Her engagements with the enemy were extremely brief however and she did not defeat an enemy in single combat by herself. Intelligence, harassment, and evacuation had been her primary responsibilities during the invasion. It was noted that Yoriko displayed an unexpected amount of leadership and decision making during the conflict which has greatly improved her then egnomatic reputation among the Captains and her fellow Lieutenants.

Shikai- Taida na Neko transforms into a small purple and black, single bladed gauntlet on Yoriko's left hand and wrist. The blade is curved like a claw and small ( ~26cm)

Shikai Techniques- Whenever someone is cut with the blade their Reishi is significantly harder to detect. This ability makes the weapon more of a a detrament to use against opponents, however useful for stealth missions.

Bakudo

Bakudō # 1. Sai:
The practitioner points their index and middle fingers at the intended target(s), causing the target's arms to lock behind their back. The spell is usable on a single target or a significantly large group of people.

Bakudō #21. Sekienton:
As the practitioner places the palms of their hands down on the ground, red smoke bursts forth from the point of contact, swiftly engulfing the surrounding area and briefly obscuring the movements of whomever is within the smoke, allowing for a quick getaway.

Bakudō #26. Kyokkō:
Hides the physical form and Reiatsu of the caster by bending light. It can be used in combat to mask the Reiryoku used when setting up a trap for the target, masking individual abilities.

Bakudō #30. Shitotsu Sansen:
Generating a burst of crackling yellow energy in his/her palm, the practitioner uses this energy to draw an inverted yellow triangle, which generates solidified energy in the shape of smaller triangles from its three points. The smaller triangles fire and hit the intended target, pinning him/her against a nearby surface by slamming into his/her body in three places in the shape of a perfect triangle and immobilizing them.

Bakudō #77. Tenteikūra:
Transmits one's voice to a large number of people simultaneously, often utilized during large-scale battles. Tenteikūra is primarily used for communication. The practitioner draws symbols upon his/her arms, hands, and the ground using a black powder or their own blood. Holding his/her palms out in front of themselves, the practitioner generates a glowing rectangular box and performs various hand movements to create various root-like extensions in the air, which connect to the glowing rectangle. Placing his/her hands up to the rectangle, the practitioner activates the spell, causing the root-like extensions to glow and create a network extending out from the rectangle. The spell transmits messages mentally to anyone within an area of the caster's choosing. In addition to reciting the spell, the user must draw specific markings on their arms, which are animated by the spell, to convey the messages. The messages can be spoken either by the caster or by another within the vicinity of the caster.

Bakudō #81.
Dankū A defensive wall is created to protect against an enemy's attack. The practitioner creates a translucent barrier in the form of a large rectangular wall. It can stop Kidō-based attacks with power up to level 89.
Hado

Hadō #1. Shō:
As the practitioner points at his/her target with his/her index finger, a small amount of energy is dispelled from the tip of the index finger with enough force to thrust a considerable amount of kinetic force at a target, which is pushed back a few feet from the practitioner.

Hadō #4. Byakurai:
The practitioner gathers high-density spiritual energy, which they discharge from both hands. Alternatively, the practitioner points at the intended target with their index finger and generates a concentrated bolt of lightning to use against the target.

Hadō #57. Daichi Tenyō:
The practitioner thrusts their hands outward, causing objects around them to levitate and throwing them toward the destination which the wielder chooses. The technique is precise enough to counter opposing flying objects.

Hadō #58. Tenran:
The practitioner creates a widening tornado-like blast, which is fired toward the target

Unknown Hado # Shibireyubi:
As the practitioner places a finger in front of the victim's face, a ball of white energy flashes momentarily before the victim's eyes. Immediately incapacitated, the victim falls to the ground while remaining conscious and aware of what is going on around them.

Unknown Hado # Hakufuku:
As the target sees the illusion of purple cherry blossoms falling around them, their vision begins to blur and become unfocused as their consciousness becomes muddled, disoriented, and confused. Shortly thereafter, the target blacks out altogether, later awakening with an unclear memory of what occurred.

Barriers & Seals

Kyōmon:
This technique erects a transparent barrier that extends from one side of an opening to the other. It is used to protect the target by preventing intruders from passing through it. It is usually used to cover the entrance of a room with the target inside it. However, this barrier is much more easily broken from the inside if the target chooses to leave confinement.

Goyōgai:
The practitioner holds their arms above the intended target and envelops them in a translucent, yellow prism of Reiatsu. The prism freezes the state of a person and can be used to hold off death from mortal injuries.

Uncategorized Spells
Kido Canceling Technique Hanki:
A fighting technique that combats an opponent's Kidō by hitting it with a Kidō of the same quality and quantity spinning in the opposite direction. The ability can even neutralize an opponent's movements.

Healing Technique Kaidō:
As the user holds his/her hands above the patient's wounds, his/her palms glow with green spiritual energy to facilitate healing. Yoriko has the proficiency of an average 4th Division member.

Other Skills
Hoho and Shunpo Expert:
Yoriko is one of the fastest Shinigami in the Seireitei. Her Captain is notably faster however.

Hakudo Expert:
Yoriko is one of the best hand-to-hand fighters in the Seireitei. What time and effort most Shinigami put into their sword techniques, she has put into Hakudo. Her Captain can fairly easily defeat her however.

Shunkō Novice:
An advanced battle technique which combines the physical techniques of Hakuda with the spell-based techniques of Kidō. It is an ultra-powerful technique in which one drives Kidō into one's arms and legs. Yuriko is still learning to control this technique.

It’s a unique style to him because he likes to stand out. In addition to that. Jaakuna isn’t very muscular, though he might surprise you by how strong he really is. His body is very lean and it shows in his diet because he doesn’t eat anything that might ruin the temple that is his body, though drinking is another matter altogether.

    For better or worse, at his core Jaakuna is a prankster. Whether you spent five minutes, five hours, or five years with him, this cannot be denied. And really, it’s just rooted in his fun-loving personality. He likes to joke around. He enjoys making the most of boring situations, especially when he’s on duty. And especially when he’s just trying to pass the time. He’ll joke around by either telling a story about some idiot who got drunk or ramble on about nothing until either someone shuts him up or they laugh.

    Because that’s what he really wants. That validation that often comes with being a comedian. Because that’s how he sees himself. A comedian who needs that validation of others that he’s funny. Because Jaakuna likes to be loved and rarely ever wants to be hated by people.

    On the flip side, being so prank-leaning and having little direction about responsibility, it makes sense that he hasn’t risen up the ranks of his Division. It’s not only his joking demeanor and inability to take things seriously when he needs to (especially when in the presence of his superiors), he’s also reckless. In the times that he’s been a shinigami, Jaakuna has displayed reckless tendencies in the field. He can follow orders, but sometimes he takes on more than he can probably handle. Sure, he boasts about his strength and sure he can sometimes back it up, but more often than not, when overestimates his abilities, not only does he suffer but those who might have put their trust in him suffer.

    Meeting JAakuna is like a whirlwind of excitement, but at times frustration comes into play because he doesn’t know how to shut off his joking habits. He just likes to have fun and sometimes he doesn’t know the meaning of the word “restraint”.
