BLAIRE ACADEMY

PLOT
No one knows exactly when Harrison Blaire founded his academy. But they do know that he didn't do it alone. The Academy takes in children from the well-known, the wealthy, the powerful. The families send their children away at a young age, usually between the ages of 9-12. These families, however, are corrupt. They usually send their children away in turn for power or to keep one of their misgivings under wraps, at the request of the Academy.

The Academy takes in two groups of children every three years, and places them together at various locations around the world. Team Ichor was sent to live in Saint-Germain-En-Laye, France. The children, coming from different countries and families in various positions of power, were raised together from the day of their acceptance onward. But they weren't raised together as normal children were. They received academic studies, of course, in their new home. But they spent day and night training to become a powerful group of assassins. Each team is assigned a mentee, and this team is headed by Harrison Blaire's grandson: Jamison Blaire. He's a fifty year old greying man with a dedication to his group of assassins. He overworks them most of the time, but also accompanies them to meetings and gatherings where teams of assassins are shown off to the secret world of upperclassmen who know about the inner-workings of the Academy. That is the only thing keeping the Academy afloat: its secrecy to the world, but its dependency on the rich who request work.

For this is what the Blaire Academy was notorious for: turning children into powerful killers. But these killers couldn't move on until they were grown adults, in their 30s and 40s, ready to start lives. Now, as the youngest of the team is older than 17, it's time for their first official mission.

Until now, they had done practices and joined older teams on smaller missions and assassinations across the globe. But now it's time for them to work on their own. Tasked with shutting down an illegal human testing center, the team has to plan. They have to travel. And they have four and a half days to fulfill their mission. Will they be able to do it together? Or will they fail, and disappoint the academy?

RULES
NO.1 keep the drama in character.
NO.2 there are no assigned genders for the roles, but as of now, i will only be accepting spots for the current roles. there's 7 spots open, and this is not first come, first serve. posting a character sheet doesn't necessarily mean you'll be accepted.
NO.3 no overpowered characters. each role is either balanced or has some sort of speciality, but they should all have flaws and weaknesses. there is also overlap because they've been trained very equally within the academy, but will have different backgrounds and interests (as people do).
NO.4 there will be a three paragraph expectation for this roleplay. it can be less, but it should definitely be more than 2-3 sentences per post.
NO.5 please be active! i understand work, school, and life in general will come into play, but communication is key in these situations, as long as you're comfortable. this is a pandemic, after all. not to mention we're all people. but let's aim for at least one post a week.
NO.6 discord is a must! we'll be using it for plotting, OOC once people are accepted, and other chit chat and discussions.
NO.5 currently, i'm only taking one character per person. depending on interest, i might allow people to create an additional character for remaining slots.
ROLES
the team leader [open] - every team has a leader, right? well, this one was never technically appointed leader. it was almost like they were naturally born, and everyone on the team overtime decided to follow them. their skills are evened out, they're well-balanced. they're just right, and can help out for any part of any mission. deep down, the team wouldn't be the same without them. but this doesn't mean everyone has to like it.

the hacker [open] - there's no one on this team better with technology than the hacker. this person just knows exactly what to do without leaving a single trace behind. getting into other systems, collecting data, they're on it. maybe they're too good at what they do, so perhaps people don't want to get on their bad side.

the figurant [taken by rosar.io rosar.io ] - this team member is undoubtedly the most agile. as a child, they were trained in dance and gymnastics. they can get anywhere, and they can do it quietly. consider them the silent, but deadly type. they could be the first one gone when missions are over, if it wasn't for the fact that they have to get to the team quickly if things go wrong.

the medic [open] - in their younger years, the team would have been goners if it wasn't for the medic. they were thoroughly trained to helping with wounds, especially in high pressure situation. sprained on a mission? well, you need to figure out what to do and get back on your feet asap. and the medic is there to get it done.

the brains [open] - even with a team leader and plenty of members with a say in how things go, the brains always brings logic and reason to the table. complex missions, schematics, and thorough plans for each member usually come from this person.

the manipulator [open] - what would the team without someone so charming? this person can get their way in and out of almost any situation. but their charm comes most in handy for the team when they need to get in with clients and intel out of targets. the manipulator will do their best to get things done.

the brute [open] - every team needs that person with raw, undoubtable strength. and the brute definitely has it. people are easily intimidated just by first glance. they've been particularly trained and excel in martial arts and other forms that the team regularly uses for taking down targets and enemies. when the manipulator fails with charm, the brute is often next to come in.

the specialist [open] - they know every weapon the team could possibly use. what's best for one type of mission than another? they're on it, and have already laid out the best tools for the day. they have a well-rounded skill set in guns, knives, and other tools for completing a job. they also tinker and work on new tools for the team to use.
