Anastasia unlike most of the academy came from humble beginnings, the result of a short lived teen dalliance. Her birth parents were unable and unwilling to to take care of Anastasia a so she was put up for fostering and adoption. When she was eight, she was picked for adoption to what would have been at first sight an ideal family: An up and coming greek politician with big prospects for the highest offices and glamorous Hollywood actress still in her prime. However, though her life was affluent, it was not the dream one would assume. Anastasia was adopted to be a propaganda prop, a proof of her adoptive father's supposed values and progressive values he spouts in speeches. To that end, Anastasia's life was tightly controlled, what she did, where and with who was decided for maximum publicity in aid for both her parents and she was taught to play the role.

This was only the start of her father's plans for his adoptive daughter. Despite his popularity and wealth, his aspirations required a lot more resources to achieve. Her father had already had dealing with organised crime, facilitating trafficking in drugs and people for extra cash and fridge services such as extortions. However he had always found them unreliable and source of future trouble. He had heard of Blaire Academy and the idea of a trained killer daughter in his control appealed to him. therefor shipped Anastasia to the academy when she was ten.

Anastasia had difficulty adjusting to the change, she barely got used to one controlling environment now she was send to another. Because of this, it was hard for her to make friends and was a bit of loner. The education unique, not only the usual curriculum taught by other school but also she was training in fighting and espionage. Part of her was enjoying it, as one would imagine the topic covered were far more exciting than her families political games. Especially she loved learning about guns and weapons and tinkering with them. She would read voraciously about all things and become one or the academy's top students.

The pressure of both her father and the academy however gradually became too much. This lead to her falling victim to an accident during a lesson on explosives, it was by sheer luck she survived with only the loss of two fingers. She spend a couple of months in the academy with her family showing little interest beyond the matter being covered up and Anastasia being able to continue her training.

Though she survived to return to her training, she was changed. She became rebellious both to the academy and her family, and began to live more for herself. She became a problem child for the school, frequently arguing with teachers and other students as well as flouting rules. She was too useful and her father to influential to get rid off but too much trouble to fully trust.

Shiloh is about as calm as you would expect for someone who is the known Medic of the group. She is levelheaded and adaptive in most situations, as well as considerably resourceful.

When it comes to socializing, she has a harder time being all the things listed above; easygoing is not a word in her vocabulary when speaking to people. It’s not that she can’t socialize – it is just harder for her to do so when she has spent as much time and effort studying quick and effective tactics to help someone in a pinch. This being said, Shiloh is not particularly talkative unless spoken to and some jokes might go over her head while she trades humor for sarcasm. However, she is not uncaring. Past the watch-and-listen side of her is someone who is protective, nurturing, and strong-willed.

weaknesses

because it's hard to get her to open up, she lacks a natural sense of charisma and therefore has an easier time falling back into a follower position rather than a leader one. she also has a hard time being read by others as well as reading other people - aside from the obvious, when someone is hurt. without meaning to, the girl can come across as very blunt or as having particularly tough love, even for her patients

Choi Ji-Yeon was born in Seoul, Korea under her father, Choi Ha-Joon, and mother, Min Eun-Woo. The two were both prominent figures in society, Ha-Joon a well-liked CEO of a large company, and Eun-Woo a popular fashion designer. Ji-Yeon was the only child under the pair, and in simple terms, a total accident. She was unplanned to say the least.

In the early part of her life, Ji-Yeon was kept out of the public eye for the most part and though people knew of her existence, her family did not often bring her out to be seen unless it was to showcase their ‘happy family.’ In reality, the girl grew up being talked over, pushed to the side, and left alone in their large house while her parents were off doing whatever with each other. It was in these years that Ji-Yeon learned how to be quite self-sufficient, doing everything for herself and trying her best to do well in school and any other activity that took her interest in order to get her parents attention - just an ounce of praise. Of course, it never worked because they never noticed, but she kept her hopes up despite everything.

While it’s not likely to see a set of parents love each other so much that they forget about their daughter, it is possible. The two were so wrapped up in each other and their work lives that it seemed that sending the child away to the Academy was the easiest way to get her out of their hair and set them back on their own again. They had the money and means to do it, so why not? With that, Ji-Yeon was shipped off to the Academy without a second thought from her parents.

Upon entering the Academy, Ji-Yeon almost entirely discarded her name and her past within a matter of years, taking it upon herself to become her own person once she realized the divide between herself and her parents. Her parents didn’t reach out, and she never tried to make contact. The little girl who only wanted to please her parents was gone and she became someone who made moves for herself rather than for what would get her the most praise. Within the coming years of entering the Academy, she picked up the name ‘Shiloh,’ allowing it to entirely become her name (it was a name in a movie she watched when younger that she thought was cool). It made it easier when it came to having an alias, anyway.

Making friends did not come easy to her considering she wasn’t particularly used to having people around due to her parents’ constant absence. However, she excelled in her studies, particularly in the medicine and first aid side of things. When it came to talking to the other seven in the team, Shiloh was more apt to fall back, allowing the others to have their conversations, and if needed, would step in only to diffuse any possible arguments between the contrasting personalities. She preferred to mostly keep to herself, going through her notes and books in whatever secluded areas she could find. However, despite her usual solitude, she was never unkind to the others and often stepped up to do exactly her role, help when the others were sick or injured within the team.

BACKGROUND
@Shadow has updated their background:
The Hanako family owns the largest tech company in the world, having the company passed throughout the generations of her family. Her father, Hiro Aika, is the current head of the family, with her aunts and uncles serving as the board of the company. Her mother, Aiko Aika, was a beautiful woman who came from a well off family since they owned a restaurant. Soon after they had 3 kids, Arata Aiko and Akemi Aika, her two older brothers who are twins, and her. Her family was supposed to be the perfect family, they were supposed to stick to their cultures but also be charismatic since they were in the business of selling. While her older brothers got all of that down, Hanako was having a really hard time. Sure she was used to sticking to her Japanese roots and customs, but being charismatic and charming, she couldn't do that. She was always pressured to socialise more and be like her older brothers, but she had another talent. She was a genius with a computer, or any device for that matter. It made perfect sense, she was surrounded by technology ever since she was young. Sure some may think that is amazing since she was part of a technology company, but her family thought less of her for that. It didn't matter if she was a genius, if she couldn't sell products, then she was useless in their eyes. It didn't take long for her to figure out the world of hacking, it really fascinated her. But there was a whole world of things she was yet to discover.

As she got older, her hacking abilities got more advanced, and for her, she got more excited. Hacking into the company's private files one time, she noticed a strange file. Opening it she found out terrible things for her. She found out her father was having a long time affair, and that the company was starting to cut corners with their production costs so her family could end up with more of the profits. If the press found out about this, they would have a field day. Her family's company was built up to be a trustworthy company, a company for the people, and if they saw this, everything would go downhill. She was conflicted, she could pretend she never saw the files, after all she never left a trace, or she could expose her own family, after all the things they would say to her or about her, it was very likely she could do so. She decided to sleep on it, she could always hack into the files once again if she decided to actually expose them, she was only about 10 at the time. Luckily she wouldn't have to make a major decision just yet. The Academy caught wind of the company's scandals and called her father, asking for Hanako's attendance at the academy. Of course, her father was much more concerned about his image and the company than her, so she went off to the academy.

It was a whole new world to her. She was in a new country, new school, new people, new everything basically. She didn't make much new friends, talking to new people was never her strong suit. She quickly picked up what the school's goal was, to kill. The academic lessons were pretty easy for Hanako, but the hard part, was the training. She hadn't really had much experience with anything physical, she usually opted for just doing her part through her computer. But she still tried her hardest at it. On missions, it would be helpful if she at least knew the basics of self defense. She actually found somethings out about herself in the process. She was fairly good with any long range weapons, but she got really accustomed with a pistol, usually being able to hit a target with pretty amazing accuracy. She was able to balance really well and could stay still for long periods of time. She spend a long time with her group of 7 people. She slowly started to open up more and more, ending up before friends, best friends some would say. She trusted these people with her life, she had to.

Depending on the people he's around, he often switches his behavior. Usually around other people, he's upbeat, and relaxed, always makes sure to keep a smile on his face, though he rarely makes eye contact with people unless necessary, or they are a target for intel. While speaking, he's often seen laughing, usually complimenting people around him. He however, doesn't often do this without a motive; intel, getting clients, convincing people to do things, and the occasional pickpocketing. He's developed a skill of reading the people around him, to be able within seconds tell what kind of person they were, and how to get what was needed out of them
Around his team he's a bit less nice, often snarky and sarcastic around them. He usually though, still acts nice from time to time when he wants something from them. He's often not the most moralistic. If someone was keeping secrets from the rest of the team, he'd probably use it against them, or find a way to benefit himself with it
