Bio: A engineering savant despite their less than mature and somewhat excitable nature, Monet specializes by choice in an act of demolition. Her particular interests however were quick to get her on several watchlists, while she started as an orphan using firecrackers as distractions to steal food she would gradually increase the scale from simple pyrotechnics to more advanced devices. This was aided strongly by the local criminal elements, being taken in by the Canadian Mafia and nurtured, provided the resources to further her education while being taken advantage of for various extortion attempts on local businesses. These would begin to escalate to blowing open safes, armored carriers, and eventually rival factions until she began to grow bored and request bigger targets or more direct actions. This frustration would leak out in finding her fun where she could, fun that would start to prove bad for her benefactor's business after one too many unsanctioned actions. This included a high-profile event when there were 6 explosives hidden around rival hockey teams' stadiums to interrupt the planned season under the guise of an attack, each labeled with its own number, namely 1,2,3,5,6 and 7. This naturally caused several day episodes as they searched desperately for a non-existent number 4 all while Monet herself had taken to ransacking the bomb disposal teams lock up. This is what also leads to getting Black watches attention, the nature of the explosives discovered is believed to be from a highly organized group, instead of just a single person and given the choice of a new job or gunfight....she accepted, though would later state it was simply due to the fight would result in her missing her cartoons that day.

Strengths:
  • A high degree of knowledge and talent in mechanical, structural, and explosives. Capable of modifying many devices to gain explosive capabilities
  • Good ability in the repair and modification of mechanical, electrical and robotic devices given access, though while effective use questionable methods
  • Surprisingly creative in solutions when applying themselves, in addition to an unpredictable nature and effective trickery with simpler plans from strange Logic
  • The high degree of physical fitness and conditioning, capable of resisting recoil from her both her explosions and fully charged sidearm.
Moveset: Mouse Trap's abilities all center around the use of her explosions and charging abilities. It should be noted that each of her explosions naturally also holds a knockback effect and area of effect though strangely can be tailored to create a far more directed force that muffles the normal volume. These knockbacks can also affect high-velocity projectiles if timed correctly.
  • (Passive) A unique operation suit that in addition to great protection also absorbs and stores energy, be it kinetic from movements, electrical detection, sonar, or even light if needed. This has made it a highly effective attire for working with temperamental explosives among other uses. This feature not only makes their movements relatively silent but also allows for such to be released for devastating effect in a single large blast if incapacitated, the size of which is dependent upon the total amount absorbed. This can be a considerable amount though should she also be healed while the effect is maintained. The main weakness of this suit is that while they may absorb the energy from these sources if it is concentrated to small areas in enough force it will still damage and harm her such as being focused into a blade's edge.
  • (Sidearm) A chargeable pistol capable of either releasing rapid shots or a powerful charged shot, the latter however requires a short while to cool before normal use can resume. Each shot however is actually a shard of highly explosive material fired using an electromagnetic rail, and as a result, will create an explosion on the location it hits.
  • (Movement) Using their explosives and suit they may combine the two in order to move in multiple directions at high speed creating a small explosion in their wake, this effect may also take place within the air to allow a high degree of mobility and large scale leaps when needed. As with her sidearm, this may be charged for one large effect or used in rapid succession for several smaller ones.
  • (Main) Carrying a variety of shaped explosive material they may either plant or throw these as proximity-activated explosives, or remotely activated. Electromagnetic devices and adhesive material allow them to stick to virtually any surface with a great degree of adhesion that renders them incredibly difficult to remove. She may however choose to focus multiple of these in a single location to create a far larger detonation.
  • (Ultimate) CHEDDAR: A small fluffy rodent of abnormal size. The truth however is the creature is in fact a fursuit that conceals not only an infiltration Omnic but also an abhorrent amount of explosive material. On command, he will proceed to either place bombs or rush the designated target and detonate its entire payload

Great character. Though I have to ask, where is Raiken?
Also, small note, the return of Blackwatch is highly confidential. As such, Declan would have been contacted; rather than him applying.
 
Ah, alright--- Also Raiken is a "tower" colony though not actually towers at all-- I could make it an actual place if needed, just this character is from a made up universe of mine

Costume:
His outfit consists of dark work pants and black combat boots. On top is a normal white t-shirt and he wears a long, black trench coat with a silver filigree design across it's entirety. Placed over this normal clothing is a mechanical chest plate that resembles a high tech bullet proof vest. From the back there is a small back piece Wich holds the controls to a set of four long, spider like mechanical legs. Each with powerful hydraulic mechanisms and titanium hooks at each end. He also wears twin gauntlets, each one equipped with a ten round clip, single fire action guns. Each round a forked protective with poisoned tips. He also continually wears a mask. It looks like a mechanical spider latched to his face. He wore this even before he became a Blackwatch member. In fact, no one has ever seen him without it.

Spider is an enigma. Not even Moira understood him in the slightest. He is a reserved and understated person. He is a man of action, not of words. Rather than speaking, he prefers to observe. Even when silent, he never stops watching. Taking in every bit of information and cataloging it. This is due to his ability to use the smallest bit of information to get the most efficient outcome possible. He doesn't like not knowing, so he will sit and run through every possible option and their related outcomes. He is meticulous and doesn't make a move until he is sure that every possible outcome is accounted for. As such, he is always prepared for any outcome. This makes him very good at staying calm and prepared for when things go wrong. Quick acting and efficient, there is no one better to have at your side when things go wrong.

However, he is dangerous. So dangerous that Moira herself feared him. Despite all his planning and knowledge he gathers, he seems to revel in the idea of danger. He is a manipulator. Everything that happens seems to fall in his plans. With an obsession with a blaze of glory. He wants to go out with a bang. The idea that his death and actions have a major impact on the world seems to thrill him. He wants to make a show out of his life, choosing a risky option instead of a safe one to satisfy this need. His actions may seem random, but rest assured that he has everything where he wants.

Background:
Spider is a mystery. Nothing is known about him from before he showed up in Moira's experiments. It wasn't like no one looked into him, but even Moira couldn't find anything. It was as if he never existed at all before he knocked on her door.

During the experiments he Just sat there. He was subjected to terrifying and painful tests, but he never seemed out of control. Despite him being kept under lock and key, even Moira felt like it all came under his design. She kept extensive files on him. Tracking every bit of his behavior and mannerisms. Those who helped her were shown these files, but they were all perturbed. Her files were missing any history about him.

As the fall of Moira's research happened, she attempted to recover all of her data and research subjects. However, both spider and his files were missing. He vanished without a trace, taking any information that she had on him and even wiping her computer as he left. He was completely gone. Absolutely non-existent until he showed up for Blackwatch. He showed up and when asked for his reason, he simply stated "I need to change a few things in the world".

Strengths/Weaknesses:
  • He is a planner and strategist. He is well known for his ability to plan for most contingencies.
  • Due to his need to think things over, he is prone to overthinking.
  • His almost chaotic thoughts lead to rather inconvenient problems.
  • He is really good and manipulation. Some might say too good.

Moveset: Spiders moveset consists of a simple strategy. Cover his team, outlast the enemy, slowly take them out and move on. His abilities allow him to take a hit and keep moving without need to worry. He is fast and hard to stop once he gets going.
  • His DNA is altered. This gives him a unique bit of physical durability due to experimentation. This is how he can take so much damage and still be fine.
  • "Damage Well" is an AOE type ability. The pack on his back contains a drive mechanism. When activated, this mechanism creates a small gravitational pull around him. Not strong enough to affect humans or anything like that, but it pulls in bullets and other attacks that hit him instead of others within this field. This combined with his altered DNA makes him a very effective tank.
  • "Kinetic Stem" is an ability that takes the kinetic energy of the damage taken from Damage Well and charges a regulated stem pack within the chest plate. That energy is then used to heal him when needed by giving a small, temporary boost to his bodies natural healing function.
  • "Bug Out" is the skill for him to use the spider legs to traverse terrain easily. Walls, the ceiling and even normal ground makes for easy travel. However, using them too much can cause the legs to become damaged.
  • "Exterminate" is his trump card. He overloads the legs to allow continuous use of the Bug out Ability for a long duration. He also switches the ammo for his primary weapon. This new ammo has a stronger dose of poison, so he deals greater damage over time and is much harder to follow or pin down. The down side is that the mechanical legs will become useless for a duration after use of Exterminate.

Though, as I've mentioned before, Blackwatch's return was extremely classified. So it's unlikely, he'd have found them. Perhaps he made some attempts "change a few things in the world" which is how Blackwatch found him
