lol, well the Rogue Trader is actually not that worried, it was probably just the result of a latent psyker burning his own brain out. This is actually way better than the second very common option, which is Demon Possession.

He's probably going to tell you to chill and that he just got fried entering the warp because weird things happen. It's way better than causing a panic, especially a plague panic. If anything that's going to cause a Nurgle Demon to appear. So if investigation is necessary do it discreetly.

I do have a couple of questions of a logistical nature.
First, does *The Golden Goose* have an attendant fleet of like frigates, destroyers, escorts and the like? I always figured a ship of this size would be a tasty looking treat for pirates and Xenos if it just trucked around on its own. Second, what kind of ship-carried support craft does it carry? I mean like shuttlecraft, interceptor spaceships, boarding torpedoes, mid-range space-bound bombers, etc.
The old GW lore on Rogue Traders was that they often had whole fleets of auxiliary ships and escorts protecting their command vessel and being on hand to ferry troops and explorators to planets and anomalies they came across.
