Idea Betrayal at the House on the Hill and other Games

So, I recently played another round of a small little game called Betrayal at the House on the Hill, and I really enjoyed it. For some context, I’m a big board game player, and I especially love lore that goes with games.

So, I’m wondering, what if I were to make an RP based on Betrayal? Or even other games with that lore, like Forbidden Island, or T.I.M.E. Stories? Do you think it would work?
