Do you know that it's my long life dream to be able to have picture border? Because it is. I also love to have some fancy text effect in a post because I'm too lazy to open my image editor software to do it. And know what, this update makes all of those thing possible. Holy shit we can even have scrollbox. This text is too short to demonstrate it but we have scrollbox. All of you who are despairing over matching your image height with your text, rejoice! Or maybe it's just me, but really, this update is great.

This is gorgeous and lovely and I am so, so, so grateful. I think I'm not quite at 500 posts, but I'll have fun when I get there. I can't wait to break out my html skills again! No one better be naughty with this and mess it up for the rest of us.


If CSS comes along with it, that's even more awesome but I can understand why that might be a bit much :3

Hello :)  Firstly, I love this, I was always so bummed that I couldn't css here. Now we can! Yay! 

Quick question, from my basic knowledge of fonts in HTML 5 and CSS, there are few basic font types that you can use. They're different depending on what os you're using. (At least that is what I remember from my Web Dev class like a year ago). Will there be additional fonts added so that we have an expansive list to choose from (like how we had google fonts), because that would be awesome.


Once again thanks for this; I'm hella stoked.
 
As far as I can tell from my experimenting, we don't have CSS capabilities. We do, however, have full HTML capabilities.


As for fonts, I'm pretty sure we are planning to reintroduce google fonts at some point. maybe an admin can confirm.

im literally only just learning so i can't tell you, but if you try it out and it works, it at the very least means the website itself allows it


without further explanation i can't really tell you if we'd ban/allow it or not


if it doesn't break the site or change anything outside of the post itself, it's probably fine though

but i've got a question, actually. are you guys not limiting the kinds of html tags that people can use? if you're there to warn about redirects and nasty shit like that then i guess not.


y'know, it doesn't take much to derail a site when you can use code like that. 


that's actually the whole reason site devs made bbcode. so people wouldn't be able to carry on coding that stuff in.

htmlpurifier is in place to help prevent some bad stuff. i can't be more specific since i dont know much about htmlpurifier or html, so i guess that and anything else about the safeguards the site software has in place would be a question for wiz


anyone who does anything malicious is gonna be insta-banned too


the 500+ posts qualification is supposed to help even just a little bit, so some troll cant make an account and immediately fuck everything over

ai, aight, so there's some level of defense or another at least, i wasn't sure if there was gonna be anything or not. hemm, okay, that's not gonna filter out everything but this is good news.
