Multiple Settings Beginning of the End - Whiteboard Story

And the mystery deepens...
Put the painting down first. Then look down the hole and the hole? to get more info.

Alfred walks towards the hole before setting down the painting. It seems to him that the hole leads to the D0RK AB00SS.

IMG_3400.JPG

Scratching his head, he moves to the hole?

IMG_3401.JPG

How odd. A tap is felt on his leg and Alfred peers down. Mr. Painting has woken up!

IMG_3402.JPG

The painting hands him the ketchup packet.

IMG_3403.JPG

Unsure of what to do, Alfred flips it over.

Property of A.N.

Intriguing.
Firstly, ask Mr. Painting for his (or her?) name. Can't go around calling people by random names now, can we?
Then drop the ketchup packet down the D0RK AB00SS, see what happens.

Smart idea. Alfred inquires about Mr. Painting's name. The painting crosses their arms. "Took you long enough."

IMG_3405.JPG

"The name's Vee," she says. Alfred nods in approval before heading over to the D0RK AB00SS.

IMG_3406.JPG

He drops the ketchup packet into the hole.

IMG_3407.JPG IMG_3408.JPG IMG_3410.JPG IMG_3411.JPG IMG_3412.JPG

That's not good...
But wait!

IMG_3412.JPG IMG_3411.JPG IMG_3410.JPG IMG_3408.JPG IMG_3407.JPG

"Never seen that happen," Vee remarks. Alfred retrieves the packet.

Doesn't Vee live here?
Now we should drop the packet down the other hole. No hole shall be left undroppedin!

Vee snorts before answering.

IMG_3413.JPG

Moving on, Alfred drops the packet into the light AB00SS.

IMG_3414.JPG IMG_3415.JPG IMG_3416.JPG IMG_3417.JPG IMG_3418.JPG IMG_3419.JPG

Unlike the other hole, the packet doesn't seem to want to emerge again. Alfred sulks in disappointment.

IMG_3420.JPG

Until something peculiar happens. A swirl emerges from where the packet as fallen. It makes a thrumming noise.

IMG_3421.JPG

With a thump, a hand climbs up. One its long extending arm, there are ladder rungs.

Vee shrieks and jumps away.

Ask the obvious question of Vee.
And that place is definitely too dangerous. We're not going down there. Yet.
Let's go explore the rest of the floor first.

That's not a very nice answer, but Alfred seems to have to take it. He walks over to the bedroom, surprised to find it lit.

IMG_3423.JPG

"Looks cozy," Vee notes.

Check if you can move any of the furniture. You may need it to block a door sometime in the future.
And inspect the important-looking questionmarked object.

And inspect the important-looking questionmarked object.

Making his way towards the vanity, Alfred attempts to push it. He does this to no avail, seeing that he has no muscle or strength whatsoever.

IMG_3425.JPG IMG_3424.JPG

Quickly realizing his inability to move anything, really, Alfred walks over towards the obviously important object marked with a question mark.

IMG_3426.JPG

He begins his inspection and is pleased to find nothing too prominent about it. It is pure white, with a question mark in its centered. It seemingly looks like a Lucky Box from the Moorio games.

IMG_3427.JPG

To his surprise, a cat springs out. If the author could, they would notify him that the cat was drawn as a courtesy of their niece upon request.

The author would also say that their niece refused for quite a while before finally giving it.

The cat meows before clambering out of the box.

>___________

The catsonified representation of the imagination of a niece! Nice.
Ask the cat if it can talk.

Alfred inquired about the cat's ability to talk.

IMG_3429.JPG

Oh, so it can!

The author would love to tell him that the niece refuses to draw another piece so he will have to make do with terrible attempts at replication. But the author cannot tell him this.

Great!
Now let's go discover the final undiscovered area. And the balcony.

With a cat and Vee by his side, Alfred Nox left the room in search of another area. Careful listening revealed that 2.0 had left to do whatever it is they needed to do. The banging on the door was no longer apparent, much to his relief.

IMG_3437.JPG

He arrived at the undiscovered section.

IMG_3435.JPG
IMG_3436.JPG

Do you...
a. Move on towards the balcony
b. Have Vee tell you a story
c. >_______

Right! Enough of the revelatory backstory! Get onto the balcony and find an escape route there!
Panicked, the frightened trio make their way out to the balcony. What they see isn't particularly appealing.

IMG_3461.JPG IMG_3462.JPG

Vee suggests jumping off, but then rethinks it saying its 'suicide'. Maybe there are other methods of escape?

>_________

Hmmm...maybe if we wait for him to go through the door, we could rush past him and leave him on the balcony?

We could also ask 2.0 if he wants us dead or not. He only attacked when Vee kicked him after all.

Alright! The author has finally replaced her dead white board markers and everything is now B L U E !!

Hmmm...maybe if we wait for him to go through the door, we could rush past him and leave him on the balcony?

We could also ask 2.0 if he wants us dead or not. He only attacked when Vee kicked him after all.

The trio awaits 2.0 on the balcony.

IMG_3484.JPG

At this moment, Vee asks whether or not the thing wants to kill them. Confused, it falls into a deep state of depression and has an existential crisis. Why is it here? What was its purpose? Is the world he lives in real or only a figment of his imagination?

IMG_3485.JPG

Welp. It seems the only way to go is down that hand thing into the unknown. Go!
Distressed and unsure, the group heads for the hand and began their long descent downwards.

IMG_3486.JPG IMG_3488.JPG

After walking a little ways forward, they arrive at the small town of ASDFJKL.

IMG_3489.JPG IMG_3490.JPG

Now, where should they go first?

Okay. We just came from homes, because we went down and homes are up from here. So how about we got to the lab?
