Help BBC coding help

I'm feeling a bit daft right now, because I can't seem to figure out how to properly use the BBC coding. If someone could do me a huge favor and explain to me how it works, I would be very grateful.

I'm trying to make an RP, and I want the main post to look nice.

Well, I want to make a template. Like the ones other people make for their main post. I'm gonna put a picture and information about my RP on the main post, inside the template.

I would recommend looking at the Bbcode Guide to start or look through the many threads in the BBcode center and commission one from someone.
