"Honey!!! Wheres my Supersuit?"
The history of the universe

The creation era-
Our universe began not with a bang but a roar. The old universe having been reduced to subatomic atoms by a war waged between angels and demons, The celestial forces of the old world. This war ended when a mysterious being called the Overlord arrived on the scene. With a flick of his hands he cast the Angels and demons out of the universe, then scooped up the matter and energy shaping into an orderly form. Finally he crafted the emerald star and created the gods within it spending tens of thousands of years teaching them the secrets of creation, divinity, and power.

The Age of Renewal-
Ten thousand years after the universe was reforged by the Overlord, his emerald star opened its titanic gates and the gods flooded out by the millions spreading throughout the universe with different groups going to different worlds each becoming known as pantheons. The gods took their knowledge of creation and forged stars, planets, and life forms over the course of another ten thousand or so years. Each ten thousand years that passed would be known as a Span and each span would end with the gods returning to the emerald star for 1000 years to catalogue their exploits before once again returning. Upon the fourth Span the Overlord left the emerald star leaving the God of Destiny to catalogue his siblings exploits.

The Golden Era-
During the Fifth Span the Gods created mortals and gifted them with the ability to manipulate magic. Unlike the previous monsters and other life forms who have magic built into them that they cannot change mortals were able to harness magic to its fullest extent. On Midnas the mortals began to forge seven mighty kingdoms that neared the gods themselves in their splendor. The kingdoms grew in power until they began to wage war against one another. Eventually this era came to an end with the fall of the seven empires at the hands of the gods themselves in order to Save the mortals from themselves.

The Modern era-
the Era we find ourselves in began with the formation of the Kaldusian empire and has been a particularly dark era as the Crusades and building of the empire occurred on account of the Span coming to an end and the gods leaving to the emerald star for 1000 years. The first time this would occur in the mortals existence. As if this weren’t bad enough the gods for some reason are two hundred years late in their return and the magic forces they left behind diminish even as their chosen king awakens.

The World of Midnas-

Midnas is a planet around 66% percent the size of earth. It has a hollow crust filled with massive subterranean chambers floating on several miles of magma. Beneath that however is the Manastream a massive plasmatic mass of concentrated magic. This magic permeates most life forms with few exceptions such as undead who posses negative magic. Upon dying the lifeforce of a being returns to the manastream where it will eventually be reborn as a new life form. The high magic presence in the world generates strange weather phenomenon such as gravity wells, flash freezes, and seemingly sentient and aimed thunderstorms.

the planet is a single ocean with points up to 11 miles deep with a single large continent the size of Eurasia and Australia combined. This continent is referred to as the realm of Midnas with the singular ocean referred to as the Endless sea. small islands dot the area on the opposite side of the planet from the central continent where a second continent once was. Megalithic ruins from the Seven kingdoms dot the Continent, the islands, the seas, and all three of the planets moons. Among these ruins are portals leading to the moons, the remnants of the broken continent, and one rumored to go to the Star the planet revolves around called Pyre.

Magic on Midnas is a strange force. Tied to both life and the afterlife. Magic is the source of life, the afterlife, the power of the gods, and nature. It seeps into all things taking precedence over things like space and time. This results in strange happenings like subterranean caverns with more room in them than the planet should allow, pocket dimensions all over the realm, and mighty creatures that can fold space and time like the void dragon. Yet even with all this the gods supersede all things in magic, able to break even the laws of magic itself. It is said that magic Comes from the Overlord in the same way light comes from From a star in space. The gods and all life forms just use this force and due to this the Overlord is Often Referred to as the God of Magic.

The wide range of environments, from the tropical shores of the north to the frozen glaciers of the south. Deserts, swamps, mountains, and all other manner of terrain exist with a massive Grassland in the center where the Great Kingdom of Kaldur was Forged. The Kaldusians expand in all directions from there forcing the nomadic tribes closer and closer to the coasts as their borders expand. Much as people hold disdain for the Kingdom they have changed the landscape itself repositioning Lakes and rivers with well placed dams, chopping down and replanting forests to make room for their roads or decorate the spaces between cities, even harnessing the power of the volatile weather.

The nomadic tribes on the other hand are more naturally inclined towards survival. They Follow herds of beasts, map out and survey the natural world and live alongside And sometimes in competition with the life forms of the world. The Storms they have learned to predict and avoid or hunker through. However All avoid sailing into the endless sea where shifts in currents and Uninaginably large and powerful creatures have grown undisturbed for several spans. Many also avoid the Deepest southern regions where the mighty frost giants dwell, or the subterranean and mountainous regions that dragons call home.
