Fantasy Recruitment

There's going to be a lot that I am going to ask from you since you're planning to operate a gang:
 • I will need the name of your character's gang, a description, and where are they located.
 • I am going to need character sheets for every NPC henchmen, mainly, the ones your character will constantly interact with and directly be in contact with more often than others so like his "right hand man or woman".
 • If they are in the Kinrin District, I will need to know what is their relationship with the Deathstalkers since they are the largest group in that district. Do they have an alliance and are a sub-organization under them? Or are they at constant war with them?

I don't see how bones and acid go together. They seem like two different themes. If his back story involved acid in a manner say he maybe died in acid or something, which explains why he's a skeleton, then I understand the death and acid theme. But you're making his bones automatically acidic, and it doesn't make much sense.

I'll go fix Simon later.

As for his gang, I decided to go with the name Gravelings, whose territory are located in the area below the Yutaka District known simply as the Yukata district, around the Noblesse only Elevator. The Yukata district is the exact opposite of the Yutaka district. An average, run of the mill part of Andromeda that is ridden with poverty, except for those who can afford to pay rent. The Gravelings act solely as an underground organization that provides both local security and martial arts training to those who couldn't defend themselves or from the Noblesse that would look down on them. It is in the Bones' family's beliefs that the Noblesse would one day slaughter the entirety of the Yukata District to keep the sanctity of their elevator. However, that didn't stop them for acting as the Yukata District's own little government with their own set of rules that are governed in the shadows, paying for the poor's taxes exploited from the rich who were unfortunate enough to not make it Yutaka.

I wouldn't put it directly below the Yutaka District. I know I don't have a map of the city, but I have always envisioned the Yutaka elevator to be in the Seifu District and there are absolutely no gangs established there. The AIB would have targeted them and cleared them out. All riff-raff are in the Kinrin District, so if you want to make Yukata a section of the Kinrin District and your gang has won that territory for itself, then that is fine. Putting them around the elevator just makes Noblesse ridiculously strong for keeping them at bay, but Noblesse likes to be around the government because they influence a lot of the decisions that happen.

Written Appearance: Kenji is rather easy to distinguish from a modern day crowed, as his hat is often the dead give away. The hat itself was the hat that Kenji's Sifu used to wear, thus Kenji continues to wear it in his late Sifu's honor, and most often then not you'll never find him without it. Interestingly enough, Kenji's eyes(if not his entire face) is usually covered be naturally covered by the brims of his hat, although this doesn't seem to effect his vision. The only time that Kenji seems to be wearing anything remotely casual is when he is present in his apartment, which is located right behind the Fat Panda Noodle House. Other then that, Kenji occasionally needs to put on the apron and hair net to work in the kitchen of the Fat Panda Noodle House. But when Kenji's just up and about, you will often see him in his more traditional wear, which should be noted to be of a foreign design.

Personality: Kenji is quite interesting for a fellow who grew up in the Kinrin District, as most people who've ever meet Kenji has described him to hold an air of "humble righteousness". They usually think that way, given his actions and Kenji is quite soft spoken, but don't be mistaken: The young man is quite social and friendly, yet at the same time Kenji has a more subtle, yet witty side to him. Kenji does enjoy the company of others, particularly when he is sparing with another individual. Kenji is well aware of the fact that he's not the strongest martial artist out there, though in acceptance he strives to become stronger from ever fight, learning from the previous failures and becoming better after every engagement. Kenji is actually quite polite and humble with the way he goes about fighting in general, especially in when it comes to a friendly spar. In victory, Kenji helps you up and complement's your fighting techniques. In defeat, he congratulates and thanks you for the fighting experience. Rumor even has it that Kenji offers a free bowl of ramen at his restaurant for anybody who can beat him in a friendly sparing match, which is quite achievable. Some people wonder how he can be in such good humor with the fighting business, especially when he does lose. But for Kenji Fighting is a way of life, and martial arts can have wider effect them simply hurting someone. Fighting is a way of building friendship or teach a lesson, as a friendly sparing match can bring out the best of two people to share with the world or reveal somthing that one or the other can improve upon. A serious fight can turn stranger into allies, turn friends into brothers. Yet violence alone does not make a man or women strong(not in Kenji's eyes), it is what he or she does with that power that determines their strength. In a part of town that is overrun with violence, it's rare to find a man as selfless and as generous as Kinrin. Now, many have mocked the young man as naive, but Kenji is all too aware of the evils that lurk about the corners in the Kinrin District. After all, he too had once subscribed to a life of crime. In Kenji mind, the world is indeed filled with bad, but there's also good in it, and what sense is there to be adding more bad to it? The world needs balance, and somebody has to tip that scale if others are do not rise to the challenge. Thus violence alone is not an equivalent to strength, not in Kenji's eyes; the intent of how you use your powers is what determines strength. Kindness, in a world of selfishness, where everyone's looking out for themselves, is the most challenging thing one of the most challenging things to achieve...Yet Kenji's fought to protect complete strangers, strangers who couldn't protect themselves...Why? Well... Anyone can snuff out a flame...but it takes real strength and tenacity to foster a flame into somthing bigger...somthing brighter...this, was one of the most important lessons that Kenji's Sifu had taught him that, long after his days on this planet...

Current Story: Kenji was never always the way he is, as the young man remembers a time when he was...different..."bad"..."evil"...whatever you'd call it....perhaps the best description was "normal"...in relative terms...considering Kenji was born in the Kinrin District...

His parents? Probably didn't love him, or couldn't afford him, or just didn't care...or maybe someone else who didn't care gunned them down for fun...could of been any number of reason, Kenji had no idea, he had never met them...no, Kenji was an orphan for as long as he could remember, and life? Well, it all just sucked...did you expect more from the Kinrin District?

The foster care that Kenji knew...well, it was present, and that was all anybody could say about it. Other then that, it was underfunded, understaffed, under-supervised, and overcrowded. So as you can tell, this was the perfect recruitment grounds for ever gang in the city. What better soldiers then a bunch of children with absolutely nothing to live for and no one to care about, even if they went missing. Show them a tiny bit of kindness, and they'll be eating out of your palms, quite literally. As far as the system was concern, it was one less gremlin draining the resources of the city. Brainwashing is perhaps the best way of putting it for the orphans recruited into the gangs at such young ages, indoctrination is also another good word for what the gangs did to these children, abuse and manipulation, even better ways of describing the whole experience. Yet despite all this, they grew up to be loyal soldiers, welling to do anything for their gang...because the gangs were the only thing they knew...it was the only family they've know...the only world they were apart of that didn't discard them like trash...

And where was Kenji in all of this? Well...he could of been one of them...another faceless nobody who probably died in a gang war, another number on some government report with no name attached...just another low life scum who probably deserved to die.

But this isn't how this story ends.

Yes, Kenji was recruited into a gang, although much to his luck, it was a insignificant one compare to all the big players in the district. Since at the time, Kenji was among the youngest of the recruits, he had a special task: Stealing. Stealing was a way to gain revenue for the gang, and if you wanted stay in you had to contribute your share. And so this was his life...stealing and pick pocketing anything and everything of value. Some days he'd get lucky and get away with his theft, but there were days where he'd get caught...and the captors were less then merciful. On a good day, they'd beat the crap out of the kid...it was a wonder to him why they didn't just finish the job entirely. In fact, these experiences, made him resent people...he hated, hated people...not just the people who beat him up, but the people who sent him on this job to begin with...goodness? That concept was completely foreign to Kenji...everyone was just out for themselves...

Still, this was a step up for Kenji, it was better then the foster home, which is saying somthing...

Then one particular day, Kenji was behind one of the allyways on the Eastern side of the Kinrin district. The young boy had just been beaten up again, which was quite the exhausting feat...and he was hungry. So, Kenji tried to steal some food...and he was caught, by an old geezer of all people. But...the old man didn't try to beat Kenji up. Hell, he didn't even seem that mad at him. In fact, the old man had tried to physically approach Kenji, which...resulted in Kenji biting the old geezer's hand, then bolting away. The old man never bothered chasing him, and it was...an odd experience for Kenji, but it was probably a fluke. A few days later, Kenji was back at the same alleyway. The young boy at the time figured that he might have been able to get away with stealing twice from the old man, he was old after all and even if Kenji would get caught the old geezer wasn't going to chase. Would you believed the surprised look on his face when the old geezer caught him again, but this time he seemed to have expected it, as he invited the boy into the back of the restaurant. Kenji would bolt again, it was obvious a trap...but the old man was certainly easy pickings...perhaps Kenji could take advantage of this. A few more days would pass, and Kenji would be stealing from the restaurant again. This time, the old man was waiting, and invited Kenji into the restaurant, and again Kenji would bolt. The fourth time around, Kenji would come about to try to steal somthing, and he caught a whiff of somthing that smelled delicious. When Kenji followed the scent, he was led into the restaurant's back door, and there sitting on the table...a bowl of somthing that Kenji had only seen on bill boards. No one was about, so Kenji went to work, devouring the bowl of ramen like he had never eaten before...and when he was nearly done with the meal, the old geezer appeared, which caused the young boy to bolt. Unsurprisingly, Kenji came back to the same restaurant only a couple days later, and the same thing happened. The next week, the old geezer would appear when Kenji was half-way done with his meal, which forced him to bolt before he was finished. Then the very next day, the old geezer was waiting next to the table that housed the heavenly noodles...and at this point, Kenji was hooked; this was the highlight of his week, he didn't want to go back to the streets hungry...the old geezer never tried to stop him before...well...let's test it out, if he tries anything I'll book it for the door. So, Kenji approached the table, but the geezer said nothing...Kenji would then finish the noodles at a rapid pace, before booking it out of the restaurant. This went on for a bit, at first the old geezer didn't say anything, then he'd start talking...about anything and everything, and he seemed to talking more to himself then to Kenji...he was surly crazy, Kenji thought at the time, but he'd find himself listening to the rambling of the old man...he'd talk about the average routine of the neighbors, he'd talk about what happened in teh news...and Kenji listened, though he acted as if he wasn't intreasted. At some point, the old geezer offered to...improve, Kenji's ramen, but...he'd ask that in return, Kenji would some dishes. Kenji had never tried ramen with eggs...and a few dishes? Didn't seem too bad. So he did, and as you might have guess, the old geezer would offer to improve Kenji's ramen...only if he did some chores around the restaurant. This became routine for Kenji, coming around the restaurant almost like clock work, doing some chores before he was rewarded with ramen. Kenji had thought that the old man was just using Kenji as free labor, but in the young man's mind it was well worth the pay off.

This went on for some time...yet Kenji boy didn't tell the rest of the gang about the old man and their routine, wanting to keep the ramen all to himself. But eventfully, the others found out about Kenji's little set up, and they weren't exactly happy at Kenji. So they decided that Kenji needed more then just a lesson; he needed to be kept in line. So they caught him, and dragged him outback to some dark, damp allyway to teach him a lesson. They had barely begun beating Kenji, when out from the corner....

It was the old geezer from before...he was now standing there at the entrance of the allyway, and he had the attention of Kenji's fellow gang members. It would of been all too easy for him to walk by...afterall, Kenji had probably leached more off the old geezer then it was worth...this would have been an easy fix...but no, he was standing there, telling Kenji supposed "friends" to cease their assault...or prepare for combat. Kenji's fellow gang members laugh, they thought little of the old geezer...until one of them pulled a knife...Kenji had never seen someone move so fast before, because as soon as the kife was in the man's hand, the old geezer had closed and twisted the weapon out of his grasp. The next few moments went by in a blur... and the next thing Kenji knew, his attackers were now sprawled out on the ground, moaning in pain. And as Kenji looked up, there was the old geezer standing above of them...then Kenji cried...Why?...he remembered screaming...Why did he help him?...Why would he help him? What did he get out of this?...because up until this point, Kenji hadn't known the concept of kindness....and he remembered pounding the ground...repeating the same question...Why would you help me?....a person as selfish as I?...

Kenji would eventfully pass out in a fit of exhaustion, to which the old geezer then brought him back to his home...took him in, was the eventuality of the situation. Kenji remembered waking up in a bed, dazed and confused...and he remembered suspicious of the old geezer...even hating him a bit, for taking him away from the gang...yet, for whatever reason Kenji remained.

The old geezer would wake him up in the early mornings, and the two would go up to the apartment roof top high above most of the other buildings...and they would be up there doing all sorts of movements. Unbeknownst to the young Kenji at the time, who thought this was all stupid, they were actually practicing the Crane style of martial arts. After practises were over, the old geezer would lead Kenji to the ramen store next door, where the young boy at the time begrudgingly helped around in the kitchen.

Turned out the old geezer was a master martial artist of sort...his name was Sifu Kong, and apparently in his hayday, he was quite the martial artist...even participated in the AUFC a couple of times and placed, although he'd never manage to beat the champion, whom many saw as his rival. These days, however, Sifu was more known for his ramen shop, the Fat Panda Noodle House. Sure, the ingredients that the ramen were made out of weren't the highest of quality, but it was still pretty good despite that fact, and most importantly: It was affordable. For many people living in the dreary of the Kinrin District, this was one of the places where they could go to relax a little, especially after a long day of hard and grueling work. Gangs rarely tried to pick a fight at Fat Pandas, as many were intimidated by the old Sifu, and those who weren't were quickly taught why they shouldn't be messing around near the old Sifu's shop. The bigger gangs, on the other hands, didn't really see the old Sifu as a threat. If anything, the old Sifu was taking care of the small gangs and was good for a free bowl of ramen on top of it. All in all, the Fat Panda was a relatively safe area for the average citizen of the Kinrin District to congregate. But it wasen't just his restraunt that caused the local community to hold the old Sifu in quite high regard. Sifu was kind to everyone, giving advice to the lost, aide to the troubled, loved to sit around outside playing mahjang with the other elderly, or challenging the local kids to a game of Jianzi(to which he'd always be the local champion). This opened Kenji's eyes to what a person was capable of being; someone who thought more then just themselves.

It was under this old Sifu did...Kenji began to change, slowly but surly. There was no doubt about it, life was better for Kenji then it was when he had been running with a gang.
Kenji finally was enrolled into school, albeit a school in the Kinrin District, but compared to his street rat days this was a major leap. Sure, he got into trouble, he even fights with the various kids at school, but Kenji was never defenseless. It turned out the early morning training were starting to pay off; instead of the reckless flurries that Kenji might have previously used, his movements had became refined and graceful. It earned him quite the reputation at school for being such a good fighter, heck, he even did a bit of local underground fighting...until his Sifu caught him sneaking out once. Still, despite this, Kenji found a new sense of drive: He wanted to...make his Sifu proud...he didn't want him to regret taking him in, which was a major shift from the young Kenji. In school, Kenji did his best to make grades and at home he worked often in the kitchens of Fat Panda. When he wasn't working or doing school work, Kenji would be training, often with his Sifu, who taught him not just about the art of fighting, but also past down techniques that Sifu himself had once used in his prime.

Life had took such a strange turn for Kenji, as he from having nothing to having alot, but that's life?

It was a day after Kenji graduated from his High School, the young man was now returning to the apartment building after a night of celebration with some friends...and then discovered that the door to the apartment was unlocked, which Sifu would never leave unlocked this late at night...but Kenji thought nothing, as he entered the apartment...to find in horror his Sifu's motionless body...in a pool of blood...

The police would show up later...too little, too late...but at least they showed to bag the body...wrote off as just some gang related break-in, didn't even bother investigating...but for some reason, Kenji couldn't shake the feeling that this was all part of somthing bigger. It didn't help that there were rumors going around that Sifu was axed by government hitmen, but that seemed absurd. Least until...well, one of Sifu's most trusted friend(and cook of the Fat Panda) gave him a key, with a cryptic hint about where the lock was. Took some digging but, Kenji eventually uncovered a safe within the apartment room, and the key fit like a glove. Inside, was an amulet of sorts, which seemed to glow of intense power, but along with that was a letter, addressed to Kenji. The major information that Kenji could get out of the letter was that he needed to seek out a man, named Koizumi Akashiro...the name was familiar, because he was the man that had once been Sifu's rival during the AUFC Tournament...and by the sound of it, Sifu trusted this man. Kenji was told to stay by this man's side, and to stay by those who were around him...many things were to come(which sounded vague), and that Kenji perhaps had a part to play...above all, Kenji needed to keep the amulet safe...when the time comes, he will know what to do with it.

It wasn't until a few years later did the name Koizumi Akashiro pop up again, and that Kenji would follow his Sifu's instructions...yet it was not easy for Kenji during the time before.

After the death of his master, Kenji was at one of his most vulnerable states. Kenji could have easily fallen to corruption...the young man, without a master to guide him, was lost...and could have easily been manipulated...he'd blame himself for the death of his Sifu, but then he'd be angry and lashout at the world, before falling back into despair. What was the point in anything? Kenji would often think? The greatest person in his life was dead? How could people do such a thing to such a kind old man. Sure, Kenji could have taken his troubles out on the world, but...that was not what Sifu wanted...Sifu was never one to use martial arts for somthing that was so...negative. This philosophy was what kept Kenji from tipping over, as he wrestled himself, trying his damnest to work through the sorrow, the despair, the anger...it took time before Kenji would be able to move on.

One particular night, however, was the turning point in Kenji's life.

Kenji had been traveling the streets late at night, in deep thought about his master, when he passed by an allyway and caught a glimpse of a gang beating on this boy. Kenji could have easily walked by...pretended that he saw nothing, this wasn't his problem afterall...but, for whatever reason, Kenji stopped himself...and turned around and went into the ally. The group of thugs took notice, laughed and swore at him, told him it was none of his business, as one of them had a strangle hold on the boy. Kenji did not falter in his conviction, as one of them tried to swing at him from the side, but was quickly introduced to the ground by Kenji's palm. The next few moments went by extremely quickly, but at the end of it Kenji had came up on top. Now, there was the boy to deal with, as Kenji turned to face the boy, the boy gave him a venomous look, yet...Kenji could pick up confusion in his reaction. Kenji would approach the boy, reassuring him, as Kenji reached out towards him. Then...the little brat bit his hand! And as Kenji recoiled, the gremlin made a dash for the allyway entrance. Kenji's first thought was anger, he just rescued the brat and what was his thanks!? Getting bitten! Kenji had been very close to cursing at the boy when he caught the boy glancing at him as a ran. There was somthing...familiar about the way he looked at him, as Kenji watched the little boy sprint into and disappear among the crowed outside. A sudden realization had suddenly hit Kenji: Everything had come full circle...

It started to rain, as Kenji stood there clutching his hand...yet he did not move, letting the rain soak through him...as he stood there...smiling like an idiot...

Weapon(s): (Optional) The most common "weapon" that Kenji uses is his hat often as a throwing ranged weapon; although the weapon is not bladed, it still hurts like hell when you get hit by it. Kenji is also no stranger to improvisation weapons, such as staffs or blunt weapons(although he prefer unarmed combat). It's also reported that the crane has used chopsticks and even a wooden bench to beat people up.

Aura: Greenish Blue

Fighting Style: Kenji's fighting style is actually inspired by one of the schools of WuShu; mainly the Crane School, but also drawing upon a bit of the Monkey School(specifically the drunken monkey variant). Breaking it down to it's basic, Kenji relies a lot on number of things in a fight: speed, mobility, precision, balance, and even a bit of deception to keep his opponents guessing. Balance is a key part of Kenji's fighting style, as Kenji is as much of an acrobatic as he is a martial artist, being quite difficult to topple, yet quicker to be back on his feat should he fall. Kenji was trained with a certain mindset to calmly calculated his opponent's techniques before striking, but above all, never to over commit to anyone attack in case deception is in use. Much of this makes Kenji quite the defensive fighter, adapting to his opponent where he can strike them at their weak spots. Part of this requires that Kenji's keeps his opponents at a distance and capitalizes on the length of the arms and legs, attempting to overwhelm them with an unyielding barrage of rapid hand strikes, evading and deflecting his opponent's strikes using circular movements. The crane style of martial arts require that Kenji adapt to the situation as it unfolds, which at times requires some improvisation, as he embs and flows with his opponents. The actual physical element sees that he makes use of his palms and his finger tips more then he uses his knuckles. In fact, Kenji doesn't seem to use his fists that often in combat, using only for heavier and more decisive attacks. What Kenji does utilize more often his his lower body, as the assualt from Kenji's legs can be as equally deadly as the attacks coming from his hands.

Techniques
 • The Poise of a Crane- This in affect a counter, although it is not meant primarily for damage dealing. Kenji is not stopping an attack, he's merely deflecting the attack while simultaneously getting out of the way of said attack. In essence, as an opponent moves in to attack, Kenji intercepts and redirects an opponent's attack in a different direction, before putting space between him and his opponent. This will not work with purely energy, area of affect, or ranged attacks. However, physical specials can be deflected if Kenji can intercept the first blow, even redirecting the attack at someone or somthing else. If an opponent is armed with a weapon, Kenji can disarm them during this technique. However, Kenji cannot disarm everyone, as stronger or more skilled opponents may easily reverse the situation if Kenji tries.
 • Paralyzing Crane Beak- Kenji understands the human anatomy very well. Taking advantage of that knowledge, Kenji will strike his opponent in one of their pressure points, paralyze that part of their the opponent's body for a brief period of time. If the opponents are wielding a weapon in that hand, they automatically drop their weapons.
 • Soaring Crane Kick- Kenji does a very powerful high kick. If it lands, it sends his opponent flying into the air. Kenji then leaps after his opponent and combos them in midair, before dealing a downward blow that sends his opponent into the ground, or alternatively, combos them back into the ground. If fighting in a constricted area, the opponent will slam into the ceiling, before smashing back into the ground, becoming stunned for a short moment.
 • Sifu's Final Gift- Kenji can utilize his hat as a ranged weapon, throwing it like a disk at his opponents. Kenji's hat will then seak out an opponent(s), plinking off of them before returning to Kenji. If there are no opponents present, the hat will automatically return to Kenji.
 • The Double Crane- Kenji summons a faceless ki clone to his side to fight with him. The Ki clone is capable of performing commands given from Kenji, and it has many of the same attacks as Kenji. It's also possible for Kenji and his clone to coordinate attacks from two separate angles. If the ki clone get's struck enough times, it will dissolve and return to Kenji.

 • Ascending Crane Kick- Kenji does a very powerful high kick.
 • The Soaring Crane- Kenji concentrates all his ki into himself, causing his body's aura to flare up and become visible. In the next few moment, Kenji's speed becomes unrivaled even by others in a specialized state. Kenji then takes advantage of this state to attack his opponent from every angle in a rapid succession or striking multiple opponents at once. To anyone else observing, it would appears that there are multiple Kenjis striking or fighting simultaneously, and trying to land an attack on Kenji in this state becomes almost impossible. Kenji usually finishes off this flurry of attacks with a grand strike that leaves his opponent stunned for a brief moment, as he appears back in his initial position. However, after each time Kenji uses this technique, he needs a moment to catch his own breath, and it will take some time to gather more Ki to use it again.

Non-Combat Techniques
 • Crane's Blessing- These are healing technique that Kenji can utilize through his ki, channeling it into another person's body via his hands through a number of methods depending on the injury. Due to the fact that it requires an immense amount of focus and ki, it isn't exactly practical to use in a fight. Instead, it's only reserved for use inbetween fights. At it's best can stabilize an individual in critical condition, however, these techniques can't heal replace body parts, such as missing limbs, as it can only repair

I can tell you put a lot of work into this CS from how long the story is. :grinningteeth: I have some comments though. The Soaring Crane is practically an auto-attack. You're trying to make him impervious to everyone when he uses this attack and you're trying to make it an automatic assault. If anyone else has a technique that allows them to increase their speed above superhuman levels (because martial artists in this world are already superhuman), then they should be able to keep up with this technique. You're also only allowed five techniques. I will not allow Crane's Blessing. A technique is a technique. You can only have five.

The Black Knight The Black Knight I did forgot to mention their relationship with the Deathstalkers. I'd say they're in neutral grounds with one another. I fixed my CS btw, do I need to fix anything else?

That’s fine, I kinda knew in the back of my head. Changed it up a bit, check my powers again.

Written Appearance:
Simon appears to be your average everyday man until you get to his face, which is essentially just a skull. Literally. No one truly knows how he functions without living tissue. Some say it's a mask, some say he's no longer 'human' in a sense. However, others just speculate he's just wearing a really realistic mask. He often wears a trench coat over some colored polo and tie. He often wears a fedora to cover most of his face so they won't fear his lack of skin.

Personality:
Simon is a calm, yet cheerful man who is kind and considerate to those who lives in his territory, willingly forgiving those who forgets to pay his gang unless it had been repeated for what he deemed to be for too long. He only strives to intimidate whenever something annoys him or someone does something wrong or some other family trespasses in his territory, in which case, he would politely ask them to leave and pay the fine or have their own face be melted off.

Current Story:
Simon was born as the son of the head of the Bonez family of the Underground who ran an illegal dojo teaching Arnis. He was set to be the heir of said dojo. and thus, was taught at a very young age.

Simon's skill with the sticks is great, to say the least. His powers was developed to be that of conjuring bones and skeletons. However, he couldn't control what those skeletons could do at the time, and during one of his training sessions on attempting to control one of his skeletons only to have it tosses a large bottle of a very potent acid that belonged to his father directly at his face. This caused most of his upper and muscle to melt off of his body. It was supposed to be fatal, however, just as his corpse was found by his associates, Simon's body woke up, as if he was merely unconscious. That's the moment that he found out that his powers also prevents him from dying easily.

Years had passed, and Simon had been living a peaceful life in his territory and dojo, occasionally forgetting that he no longer has a face. All the while improving his skills in conjuring and animating skeletons

Weapon(s): Two small, sturdy, iron enforced bones as clubs...He sometimes pulls out a revolver. sometimes

Fighting Style: Simon uses the Arnis martial arts which requires two sticks to use. Or in his case, two bones. He is mostly self taught. He only uses his revolver whenever he is fighting to kill.

Techniques
Club Dance ~ Named specifically because of the fact that he mainly uses his bone clubs as a medium for dancing. He spins his forearms in a rhythmic fashion that's usually in quick succession as the sticks hit their target in a cross-diagonal pattern.
Bone Zone - Simon pokes the ground with his bone clubs, causing several other bones to rise from the ground to impale his opponent.
Graveyard Gun Down - There are two variations to this technique. One variation has Simon summon four skeletons by his side in order to throw their own bones at their opponent in a somewhat cartoonish fashion while the other variation has these skeletons gun down the opponent with actual guns.
Stroke Of Death - Simon tosses one of his clubs and performs the 12 striking techniques. Each strike will cause a purple spark which will cause the bone of the section that was hit to hurt. After the 12th strike, he catches the club from the air to perform a 13th strike, kicking the opponent in the chest or the nether regions.
Dance Of The Damned - Stroke of Death but with 2 clubs and ends with a bullet to the forehead.

You are still trying to force along this theme Potato. It is looking very forced, and I think you should take time to make sense of it. There are still other requirements you still haven't fulfilled that I asked for to go along with your CS since you are trying to make a gang. I don't want you to do all of this for no reason, so please take the time to brainstorm your concept and decide if you really want to do this because I don't want to keep denying your efforts.

Character Name: Dean McShire
Alias: The Sticky Bomb, The Pit Boss
Age: 24
Gender: Male
Height: 6'0
Weight: 160 lbs
Hair Color: Brown
Eye Color: Brown
Complexion: Pale
Build:A lanky and athletic build
Aura: Yellow
Occupation: Unemployed

Written Appearance:
Dean's body is very well built. To say he has lived in Kinrin all his life his body is mostly scar free the only exception is his hands which are extremely scarred especially around the knuckle area clearly from years of fighting. From first glance at his body it's obvious which part he trains mostly with his upper half looking considerably more build than his lower half but that's not to say his lower half looked weak, his lower half is one of the cores of boxing and something he had made sure is solid enough to withstand the abuse it will go through. He has a single piercing in his left ear which is usually a small stud. He is also usually seen with something covering his mouth to which is hiding half of a Glasgow smile.

Personality:
Dean, like many in his 'family', believes in working incredibly hard to get things done. He likes to work incredibly hard, and rarely takes the 'easy' route when going about his day to day activities, only breaking this trend when absolutely necessary. He is known to always finish what he starts, and often goes well out of his way to see things done, and will even cause this way of doing things to extend to others around them, picking up their slack and finishing whatever they were doing. Of course, this doesn't extend on his enemies trying to kill him, or anything so ridiculous, but many would say he may be obsessed with 'completion'.

Dean has a habit to lie about things that he otherwise would not need to, sometimes even hindering many people around him. While he's not exactly stuck on lying, regardless, the sheer volume of lies he does spout happen to make those who have heard of him consider him a hard person to believe about anything, even simple things like his own name. However, when he does choose to tell the truth, it is typically in situations that are important (as he sees it), and so he isn't completely impossible to believe or depend on...just very hard to.

Dean is also fairly laid back, despite his normally hard-working demeanor, causing him to not take many actual jobs that are offered to him (or at least wishing he could avoid them) and spending a lot of his free time simply relaxing. This part of him simply means that he's calm and cool in most situations, and even allowing him to remain perfectly calm in ever the worst sort of situations; it allows him to think through circumstances easily enough, and even fight pat grief in order to see the real answer to what he should do.

Dean is, naturally, incredibly obsessive; when he likes something, he obsesses over the thing continuously, never wavering from what he wants to do with it, but also to the point that he will put all of his effort into it, often leaving him drained and exhausted. Or often to the point where he finds himself unable to complete tasks that the had set out to do prior to obtaining a new obsession, often leading to him obsessing over the thing he had forgotten about in order to obsess over the thing he finished. This has a constant trend of making him fairly odd in a relationship, and he often ends up coming off as slightly 'crazy' to those who don't know him all that well.

Funny enough, Dean is also incredibly confident, well on its way to arrogance. He believes he is truly good at what he does, and often finds it hard to understand when others best him. While he can be aware of those stronger, he often figures that its only because he had failed to train just hard enough, and opts to focus on training even more, working himself to exhaustion, and often keeping him from doing much else but train. Often times, it is hard to get him out of this train of thought, and he often finds himself struggling with trying to work with others with any capacity that said they were even. As a result, he tends to be a loner, often spending his time alone due to many not being able to handle his superior attitude.

Despite his faults, however, Dean is not a bad person; he does not wish any ill will on anyone other than his worst enemies, and will often do what he can to help inspiring individuals along the way. He tends to be very helpful, indeed and tries to help others as much as he can without making it hard for himself, which he often fails at due to his inherent nature. Much time is spent on others, despite the way he acts, and he often takes on burdens that could be seen as far too much for a single individual, much less an entire group.

 • To Friends: Around his friends, Dean acts much like he usually does, if not even lazier and laid back. Typically, he takes things in stride, and often doesn't bother caring about trivial things like feels; he does what he does, and it typically turns out to be exactly what he wants. However, one thing that differentiates the way he is with his friends, and generally any other, is the fact that he is honest around them, and not even just in comparison to how he usually acts. He is open, and far easier to rely upon, even helping them in things he normally wouldn't, if they were any others, such as willingly taking on their work, without even thinking about how much of a chore it could be.
 • To Allies: To allies, he isn't much different than his default; detached, laid back, and a liar. However, when doing this sort of thing, he finds himself having a much more common level of truth; rather than lying with every single word, he lies much less often--especially when cooperating with them--and will even willingly divulge information he gathers that could be useful to them, believing that if they are better of, so, too, will he be in the long run, and sometimes transparency in certain things an lead to situations turning out much better.

 • To Foes: He dislikes those that get in his way. Thus, he tends to dislike those that oppose what he's doing. To him, those that oppose his way of life may as well be enemies, though he understands that not everyone who he is up against could be considered his greatest nemesis. While he tends to dislike foes--or, rather, having them to begin with--he shows his own level of respect to those who respect him, and typically opts not to use his talents to bring them down with ruthless aggression, unless necessary.
 • To Enemies: He hates enemies. If someone had actually managed to get so far on his shit list to be called such, it means they have done something truly terrible. He hates them and wishes to be rid of them as soon as possible, just to remove such stains from the earth. At this point, if one actually manages to become an enemy, he will actually actively consider different means to deal with them, so as he would not have to either cross paths with them again, or take out whatever vengeance is necessary; additionally, he finds it incredibly hard to work with enemies, and to actually consider them allies.

Current Story:
Dean was born and raised in the slums of Andromeda, Kinrin. While he was quite lucky despite living in Kinrin he was born into a rather peaceful district of Kinrin known as the 'Pits'. The Pits got it's from what happens there which was illegal fighting or 'pit fighting' and that was the main reason why it was peaceful anyone started anything in the pits and it would quickly turn into a spectacle or the owners of the Pit's would get involved the Deathstalkers. The Deathstalkers use the pits to find potential recruits and even sometimes the Noblesse would sponsor fighters from the pits.

Dean's parents were both employed by the Deathstalker's but not in the gangster sense, they worked in the pits as medics for the winners they had two jobs make the winner ready to fight again and dispose of the loser whether that means the body or just throwing the person out. This meant that Dean spent much of his younger years watching the Pit's and the various fighters which to say the least got Dean interested in martial arts, he wanted to be big and strong like the winners in the pits. To say he lived in Kinrin he had a pretty good life, no one bothered him, he rarely went hungry and he had some great entertainment daily. At the age of seven, he began to bug his parents to find him someone to teach him how to fight and while it took them a year to accept they quickly found someone to train Dean.

The person his parents found was a boxer and a good one he taught Dean for the next ten years everything he could and boy did Dean learn quick. To say that Dean was a natural was slightly an overstatement but he was close behind one. Over those ten years, Dean's body was molded into the perfect boxer, his mind filled with various strategies and the instinct of a champion and one more advantage of living by the pits a near unlimited number of 'sparring' partners...if you can avoid death anyhow. Dean's life through this time was filled with very few things Eat, Drink, Training and Sleep. At seventeen his teacher left him and Dean quickly left his home soon after to live out his own life.

For the next seven years, Dean went from job to job but never ran into anything that interested him and he always ended up going back to the pits or the various arena's to make his money, of course, being a born and bred Andromedian Dean has heard of the story about Koizumi Akashiro and he's even visited his restaurant before. Each and everytime he has been he has always hesitated in asking for some tips on boxing but one day he will.

Weapon(s): He's more than willing to use knuckle dusters, spiked knuckles, weighted gloves anything that could make his fist more deadly.

Fighting Style: Dean is a boxer who focuses on closing the gap between an opponent and getting right their face as quickly as possible delivering heavy close ranged blows. The fighting style of Dean is, to say the least obvious, obvious but effective. Dean is an In-fighter and a damn effective one with a high-speed step in allowing him to close the distance between him and a target within a split second and a tendency to stick on them like glue. Once getting up close and personal to his opponent his overall fighting style consists of super heavy blows usually delivered to the rib cage however once that opponents guard has dropped whether to defend from the blows or out of pain he'll quickly turn the opponents face into a punching bag. Dean as a boxer is extremely experienced and well trained with the perfect blend of brute force, speed, and grace. While fighting him it's more than anything his combo's you need to watch out for if one punch connects just expect another to follow suit.

If his usual get close and punish style doesn't work and in case such as versing out-fighters such as those who prefer a mid-range fight such as those with weapons like bats or swords or for those who kick he will switch to a very hit-and-run type of style using his perception to watch and dodge the opponents attacks before finding an opening and using it to get a hit in. While he can fight as an out-fighter he would much rather not.
latest

Techniques:
Double-up: The technique is used strictly in close range situations. The boxer fires an uppercut to the opponent's head with the lead arm, then drives in a punch with the dominant arm from above. It must be stressed that there is virtually no delay between the two punches. The double-up strength and devastation on the skull can trigger immense brain damage capable of ending a boxer's career. it is a technique that cannot be blocked easily due to its quick combination of punches from above and below. Should a person block the first uppercut, the overhand would still land unhindered. This is Dean's Sunday punch/KO technique.

Twister Hook: The Twister Hook is a typical hook. Its target is usually the head, but there is no specific need to aim for the head. By twisting the body to its limits, the speed of the hook increases dramatically, giving a big amount of additional power. If fired at very close range, it will either make the opponent jump far away from the boxer or knock his head off.

The Swallow: What makes the swallow different from usual jabs comes from the fact the left is not being pulled in completely. It stops halfway, then abruptly flies back at the opponent. Arm, elbow, and wrist rotation are applied so the punch can change trajectory; depending on how they are bent, multiple variations could be made like left jab to hook, to upper and immediately to another left jab.

The Swallows Return: It begins like a normal uppercut hitting an opponent's guard. The shock from the uppercut loosens the guard, then the boxer turns his fist vertically instead of horizontally and repeats the uppercut, albeit much more compactly. This second uppercut penetrates the defense, allowing the clean hit. The technique is a guard breaker and while it can be performed without an opponent guard it is not as effective as when an opponent is guarding.

Motionless Jab: The motionless jab is different from a normal jab as it has no build-up in the user's shoulder or elbow. This is accomplished by keeping one's fist and shoulder completely lined up with the target's eyes, which of course is hard to do consistently. This does wonder both for speed since it gives a smaller window to react, and range since the opponent can't gauge if they're in striking distance. The end result is a punch that flies straight out of the user's stance, which looks as if the glove got bigger out of nowhere.

Ayumi wanted to keep her hair long in the memory of her father, he had jet black hair just like hers and his hair was beyond long compared to hers. Which is why the length of her hair is like a way of her bonding with him, even though he has long passed on. She does have bangs that are above her forehead, so yes she does have eyebrows that are perfectly shaped too.

As for her body, she has sure matured from being called Little Akashiro. Her appearance isn't so little any more, she has a more noticeable and very shaped up figure, giving her an hourglass figure. She has a fire inside that cannot be tamed, which is why often times when she goes out for groceries her uncle fears for her. But Ayumi is a devil in disguise when it comes to combat. No matter how many times she has asked her uncle to train her to be just like him, he always tells her that he wouldn't teach her because if he does, then she would not be the same person that her father and mother raised her to be. Which is kind, polite, and a 'lady'. Ayumi is quick on her feet, intelligent and owns many skills; cooking, archery, and dagger throwing. She is very quick with her hands, especially when she is cooking, her knife work is amazing and nobody can cut as fast as her.

3c1d5ef103ed0879b87ce965fa45ec64.jpgCurrent Story: Ayumi was born to a seamstress and a winemaker up on the mountains, just a couple of miles away from the nearest port city. Every morning her father would bring his famous rice wine to the market and Ayumi's mother would bring her handmade dresses, and services as well. They were a very modest, kind and very giving people. Ayumi was an only child, but her parents always wanted a big family. But they could never conceive after Ayumi, doctors said that her mother's eggs were still fertile, but when Ayumi was being born, there were complications and her mother almost lost her life giving birth to Ayumi. Ayumi grew up by herself since they were up on the mountains, they didn't have many neighbours around, especially with children. So Ayumi mostly played by herself, often times her family would take a visit to her uncle. Her uncle was the famous Akashiro, a legendary man, but he put himself first (literally) and took a bullet for someone. Her parents thought that he was dead when they heard this news, but they were glad that he was still alive.

Which is why every now and then, as Ayumi was growing up, her parents made frequent visits and often times two day stays with her uncle Koizumi Akashiro. Ayumi wasn't the type of child to want to listen to fairytales before bed, she was always fascinated with her uncle's stories, which is why she would beg her father to tell her one of his brothers greatest stories. Ayumi sees her uncle as a selfless person, someone who would give their life up in order to save someone else. Whenever they stayed over, Ayumi waited for everyone in the house to go to sleep, and she would sneak down in Koizumi's basement and watch him practice, or just check out his possessions. Ayumi grew up to try and teach herself how to fight and defend herself because her uncle was not going to teach her any time soon. He said when learning how to fight, it comes with great responsibility.

Ayumi grew up to be a beautiful woman, but by the time she was about 18 years old, her house was burned down in the middle of the night by thieves, she was the only one left alive. When her uncle heard of the news, he sent for her to come and live with him. Ayumi was grateful and has been working as a waitress at her uncle's restaurant, but deep down she wishes she was fighting. Late at night, when her uncle would go to sleep and the shop was closed, she would get dressed and sneak out in the night to see how she can be of help to someone in need. But the last time she went out, she almost got seriously injured by one of the gang members of the Anima because she got so caught up in what was going on around her. She got away with only a couple of scratches that she patched up when she got home.

Ayumi has since been on the low and continues to work at her uncle's restaurant. Studying the arts of combat, and also reading more to increase her knowledge and understanding about the world.

Weapon(s):
Throwing Daggers (Handle is black with complex patterns on each side, and the rest is silver. She owns two that is the side of her arm from her elbow to her fingertips and she owns two very small ones that are the size of her hand.) ---> Her favorite weapon to use and most common too, she only uses the daggers to injury her opposite in order to defeat them by hand.

All Black Matte Katana (Her baby) ---> She only uses this when she is outnumbered or if the situation that she is in becomes gruesome.

Aura: Gold

Fighting Style:
Ayumi's fighting style would have to be a little bit of Taekwondo and Aikido. The reason for her using Taekwondo is due to the fact that she is good with her hands and quick on her feet, she finds it easier for herself to learn new techniques and use them against her opponents. What Aikido helps her do when in combat is help her find her balance. Since Aikido is a Japanese traditional martial art, it helps her to find her balance and redirect an attack. When using Aikido, she is mostly holding her opponent in a hold, lock, pinning or throwing.

But she isn't a pro at this either, since she has been teaching herself the ways, she often loses sight of the bigger picture which is why it caused her to get injured in her last fight. She is still learning and begs her uncle every day to help her improve in some places.

Techniques:
Killer Crack -- She RARELY uses this and the extent of this technique can result in the death of her opponent if she gives a very hard blow to the back of the neck. But if she aims correctly just below the neck, she can put her opponent out for an hour.

"I am still learning, plus I am great with my hands so who knows what new techniques I'll create." - Ayumi Akashiro. (More techniques to come as story progresses.)

Sweet, cause I've already made a character, tell me what you think.

Character Name: Alexander Matte
Alias: N/A I'm open to suggestions.
Age: 25
Gender: Male
Height: 5'11"
Weight: 112
Hair Color:
Red
Eye Color: Green
Complexion: Light
Build: Lean
Occupation: Doctor

Visual Appearance:
123856198

Written Appearance: Alexander has long thin fingers crisscrossed with small scars. Underneath his clothes are more scars, small pinprick little dots at specific points along his body. His body is built surprisingly well for a doctor.

Personality: He has always been a helpful person, kind and fair. He likes to give people aid when no one else will.

It is not entirely altruistic, he understands that he has to charge money for his actions, if only to help more people.

He has an experimentive side as well, always striving to improve his martial art, even at the expense of testing it on his own body.

He has also been known to help his friends, though not always with their permission. If they complain about a pain or discomfort near him, he feels the need to make it better.
Current Story: Alex was always a sickly kid, something was always wrong with him in one way or another. He spent most of his time in hospitals, tests being run on him. He was never really expected to live a normal life.

There were few things he could do. One of those things was the slow and methodical Tai Chi. It was the least stressful of the martial arts he could find and it seemed to improve his health, at least a little. Being the son of a rather wealthy entrepreneur allowed him the freedom to explore his interests.

Tai Chi led to Chinese medicine. Acupressure and Acupuncture specifically. Needles weren't an issue and sticking them into his body was the least of his problems. This naturally led to chiropractic practices and Aikido. Grappling and redirection, correcting poor stances and bodies.

With each new study he became healthier and stronger. Each experimentation on his own body corrected something wrong about himself.

With the completion of his main studies, came the completion of his own personal Martial Art. The Medical Arts were born.

Naturally he put these skills to use in helping the sick and weak like he had been. Pseudoscience or not, it proved effective and soon people were paying to have his services.

He became quite well known for how healthy his patients would become.

Weapon(s): He actually carries around a few needles on his person just in case he is attacked. Proper application of needles can paralyze or otherwise dispose of an assailant. This has proven to be a necessary precaution as not everyone is happy about his medical practices.

Aura: Light Green, similar to his eyes.

Fighting Style: The Medical Arts. A personal martial art created by Alex to improve his own health. It is a combination of several medical practices as well as grappling and precision martial arts.

It doesn't focus on harming the target. It is designed to help people by adjusting their bodies and realigning their internal energy.

However it can easily be used to disable a threatening force. The same with any medicine, proper use can kill as easily as heal.

Techniques

You are allowed up to five techniques. These are fighting sequences of movement, energy attacks, whatever "bad azz" move you want to give your fighter. Try not to go too out of your character's theme, otherwise, it may look weird.

Disruption: Proper use of grappling and chiropractic techniques strike joints and dislocates fingers, arms, knees, shoulders. Alex does this with extreme precision and speed.

Puncture: Acupuncture in its purest form, with high speed movement. Proper placement of needles are used to aggravate and disable limbs as well as disrupt ki techniques.

Internalize: The skill of acupressure is mainly used to disrupt ki techniques as well as alter the internal body activities. Precise knuckle and finger strikes can temporarily alter breathing, blood flow, and equilibrium.

Happy Time: Not all of Alex's techniques are used to harm others. Their main feature is to help. This technique was specifically designed to do just that. Accupressure and Accupuncture are combined to hit specific points on the body to cause the brain to release oxytocin, bringing the target to a euphoric state and taking them out of combat.

Delete any CS guide information in your CS. You have a paragraph of the CS guide present around techniques in your sheet. His occupation needs to be specified. You have made him a Chiropractor and Acupuncturist. Those need to be in the occupation section in the case we get more doctor types.

An alias is not required so you can mark it as N/A if he doesn't have one.

Oops, sorry. Wrote it all on my phone, didn't realize I forgot to erase some stuff.

Yeah, I wasn't sure what his actual occupation would have been but I can add those to it instead.

I was on my phone as well when I reviewed this, but I am online now. XD Your character is allowed a fifth technique. He is allowed 5 total starting out. Never mind (deleted what was said).
