(forgot that i had to start :P)

Wonderful city this one. Full of respectable people , good people , hard working people. Donators of the church and legitimate businesses. That is how this city wants to look. That is the dream of the people that live here. Unfortunately that isn't what the people here got , to be a bit more truthful when you live here you are under the "protection" of some mob or gang.....or in debt with them heck anything is possible in this city. Though to outsiders , the city is just thick with criminals but there is actually a system of sorts here. Yes you have your gangs that battle it out with each other but every lowly or large gang is controlled by a syndicate. The syndicate are basically the big bosses that "Run" the city or parts of it. Yes like the gangs fight with each other in the open , the syndicates combat each other in a more delicate way , from the small things like ruining businesses to larger confrontations like ruining secret meetings and deals to the extreme but rare confrontation of on Syndicate assaulting the Hq of another Syndicate. It's rare because both side lose greatly.

One of these Syndicates are the Black Knights. Yes this syndicate sounds like nothing , they sound like childsplay but newer gangs tend to forget that there are reasons they are considered syndicates and sometimes other syndicates also forget those reasons. First of all , The Black Knights are in control of the city's Night District so Nightclubs and Casinos are their bread and butter on the surface. On the criminal side they have drugs and counterfeit currency as their main dealings. Another thing about them that scares most of the people that are in debt with them and gangs that work for them is that they seem to have quite a lot of assassins and they aren't afraid to use them. One of their assassins have recently made a lot of the other syndicate leaders worry. A few nights ago a syndicate tore itself apart when this particular assassin offed the head of said syndicate. The power struggle cause the syndicate to become nothing more then a squabbling gang .

No one knows the assassin , what the assassin looks like or how the assassin acts. The only thing they know is that the assassin is very efficient and very accurate. No one is surprised that this assassin came from the Black Knights , they are the only ones that can make a bold move like that and succeed. Rumors is though that the now fallen syndicate planned to team up with another syndicate hence why they were dismantled.

(you’re fine!)

Noah was well adjusted to the life of the city. He joined the dark side of the city when he was in his early teens. He was quiet when he first started and stuck to smaller extremes like crack and shoplifting. His first time killing some was when he was nineteen. Noah was in a fistfight with someone who wanted to challenge his authority. The other man had grabbed a knife, and Noah was smart enough to steer the knife into the other man’s stomach. Noah moved up in positions at that point and took over once the past leader of the 13th Street Syndicate.

The 13th Street Syndicate had a hand in the banks and hotels. The normal members of the 13th Street Syndicate were typical to hold employee positions in banks and hotels. Noah had members within the Syndicate that overlooked those employees and kept watch on them. The 13th Street Syndicate was rumored to have “wicked monsters”. Captors that survived told stories of how they were tortured by the 13th Street Syndicate. Captors that survived the Syndicate had scars and bruises that covered their bodies. There was always an “x” cut in the palm of their hand where it was said the members of the 13th Street Syndicate would drink the captive’s blood. Some captives reported cannibalism, but it always depended on what captive you talked to. Most captives were deeply traumatized by whatever they encountered, and a lot of those who were traumatized ended their own life willingly.

Noah was never someone who would be seen in public often. He usually stayed wherever and stuck to himself. It was rare for anyone to recognize him. No one in the 13th Street Syndicate really talked to him except a few of the higher ups. He was often caught staring off as he thought about everything. The man was clever and observant. A fly couldn’t even get past him. This one night, Noah truly wanted to spend time with his friends and let loose. He never knew what relaxing felt like. Noah took a couple of the guys that were close to him and decided they may as well drink tonight and see where it leads them. The trio walked into the bar and took their seats. Noah lit himself a cigarette while they talked and waited on their drinks.

"Have y'all heard what happened to the Tsunami Boys Syndicate at the docks. Apparently they have been "Officially" disbanded due to a power struggle caused by their head meeting an untimely demise " one of his friends said. " Oh i heard about that . It seems the credit is going to your rival sir. While I would like to believe that the other syndicates are giving the Black Knights Syndicate to much credit , they are the only ones that use assassins so i would not put it passed them but to make such a daring move and succeed " he said as he shook his head. " Enough you guys , leave it for the office , Noah didn't invite us here for a stiff chat about the syndicates , he invited us for a relaxing evening and a drink " the other friend said as they all nodded and continued with the night

However somewhere in one of the suites of a luxurious hotel , Ruby and to other assassins stand over a few corpses of what use to be members of the 13th Street Syndicate and a few of their gangsters. They were going to close a deal but with her and the assassins interrupting the deal. With this deal now dead (no pun intended) the 13th Street Syndicate will suffer slightly in profits. Ruby nodded to the assassins and they made their way out of the hotel , got in their vehicle and went back to Black Knight Territory. It was just one of the many operations happening to every syndicate. Only problem is , the methods of the Black Knight Assassins changed a bit so Syndicates can't really point a finger at the head of the Black Knight Syndicate....all they can do is be suspicious. It was also a happy coincidence that a problem happened in the Black Knight Syndicate territory as well throwing most of the suspicion off of them seeing as they somehow also got hit by a problem.......happy coincidence

Just like expected, Noah began drifting off in his own thoughts as he listened to his partners in crime. Noah hated his rank as the leader, but he loved it at the same time. There was nothing like being at the top. You made all the decisions, overlooked everything, and everyone gave you respect. However, there were several negatives as well. You always had a target on your back, life was now survival, and there was never a time for down time. Something didn’t feel right to Noah. It didn’t make sense for Noah to be here. He got his wallet out and put a twenty on the table. “I’m going back, boys. Stay as long as you’d like to.” Noah said. The man got down from the bar chair and put out his cigarette when he got outside. Noah just lit another one as he walked.

Noah could just feel that something was wrong. His gut turned in disgust as he thought about the worse things that could happen. Noah didn’t want to think about anything just for one second. He wished his mind didn’t work for a bit. The man got to the hotel he knew a meeting would’ve been happening, and went straight to the room he knew it was in. He was already coming up with excuses in case he walked in and they were still meeting. Noah just knew they weren’t though. He opened the door and stepped in, closing it behind him. He looked at the bodies and didn’t even act bothered. He knew what this was costing him, and that’s what bothered him. Noah called one of the guys he was closest to. He was pissed at himself for thinking it was fine to have a few of the higher ranking members at a bar. “Sober up and gets your asses here, now. LA57 521.” He instructed. As soon as he heard the “yes sir” in response, Noah hung up.

All the way back at Black Knight Syndicate territory in the Dark Horse Casino , the head of the syndicate as looking out over the while twirling a blade in his hand " So lovely when things work out. Our operations tonight placed some realization into all the Syndicate heads , they are still vulnerable and anything can happen to them" he said before placing the knife in his pocket and lighting a cigar. "A syndicate disbanded before spreading rumors that they might have wanted to merge with another syndicate and sudden problems happening at each syndicate territory so that they can suspect us..." he said as he turn and looked at the only other person standing in his office "...and the happy little accident of an out of control gang causing problems in our territory for most of those suspicions to disappear" he said as he walked up to his daughter " You have done well my daughter , your skill as an assassin can not improve any further. Sneaking into a Syndicate Hq and eliminating the leader , causing all of the remnants to descend into anarchy. No assassin could have done better " he said as he placed his hands on her shoulders " You will no doubt make a fitting leader for this organization once i am gone" he said with a smile. She bowed her head and smiled at him. "Go now , you have earned your time off my dear " he said and she left

She didn't join the rest of the Black Knight members in the casino , rather she went back and continued her work with the rest of the Assassins. They don't have much to do for now so most of the assassins are on patrol duty if they want to be. Ruby joined her group that was set to do one of these patrols that were scheduled for tonight and more a long the edges of their territory. Their patrol was on motorcycles as usual because they are faster in the narrow street and you can actually escaped into narrow alleyways with them. When they reached the check point they started splitting up to cover more of the partol radius.

Noah slowly became less and less stressed the next few days. They were able to clean the room the murders occurred in and fix everything else. Another syndicate disbanding was stressful to hear about. Noah was up on the roof of one of the hotels a few nights after the incident. He was smoking like usual and looking out at the town. Nights were so peaceful here. There was nothing to really worry about in that moment. The man was just zoned out and in his brain thinking about practically everything. He turned hearing the door to the roof open and relaxed to see it was just Dylan, one of the members he was closer to. "Up here again? I hope you don't have ill thoughts." Dylan chuckled. Noah sighed and turned back to face the town. "What do you need?" He asked and took another inhale of his cigarette. Dylan walked over and snatched the cigarette from Noah. Noah growled and tried to take it back, but Dylan flicked it off into the city below their feet. "We're going to actually do something different, okay? No smoking tonight. We'll go to a club- where no one knows you- and drink until we can't feel anything." Dylan said. Noah rolled his eyes and walked towards the door. "Fine." He snapped. "I'm smoking as soon as your back's turned." Noah said.

Noah got ready for their night out and dressed nicer. He worse a loose black button down shirt with skinny black jeans and converse. He looked like a college kid going to a party. As soon as Dylan was ready, Noah left with him to go to a club. Noah was slightly nervous about someone knowing him, but Dylan made sure to reassure him no one would. He barely ever went into the public, and not even everyone in 13th Street knew his name and face. The club was noisy like expected. This was something Noah was not a fan of. He was perfectly fine with being a hermit his whole life. The pair took a shot and mainly remained at the bar. Dylan slipped away at one point and joined the dancing crowd. Noah took the opportunity to light a cigarette while Dylan wasn’t around to tell him no. Noah ordered a drink as well just to settle him over while his friend partied.

Sapphire was a bit annoyed that night , she wanted to help her team on their assignments. Her father knew this and knew the only way he would get his stubborn daughter to take a break is if he orders her entire team to take a break.....and so he did and she wasn't happy. Her team members had to convince her to chill and take the night off as intended because she deserved it for her triumphs. It took a bit to convince her but it happened. If she was going to relax then her father's nightclub would be her choice even though she would be going alone because her team wasn't to relax in their own homes for once. She got herself all dressed up and made her way to the Ravenhollow Nightclub dressed in a black knee high dress and black thigh highs . She likes to dress herself in complete black because of her profession. Off she went to Ravenhollow Nightclub , her preferred place to go because the assassins steer clear of the place and members of the syndicate don't really go there. Everyone else much prefer the club next to the casino.

When she arrived at the club she waited a bit before sighing in relief as no members of the syndicate came to greet her at the door and escort her to a private lounge. She she felt a bit more normal that way. She smiled as she made her way to the bar and wasted no time first ordering a few shots then ordering a margarita to sip on as she looked at the club , she didn't sit like she usually sits as if she owned the place. She sat in a more respectable way , a normal way without the need to prove that she is the boss. Unfortunately once an assassin always an assassin as her keen eyes notice two men she never saw in this part of town ever. She moved to the end of the bar when she noticed them. After a while she shook her head to get her instincts out of her head and enjoy the night. She did glance back occasionally , new faces are often the interesting type and it gives her something else to do besides shooing away the men trying to get her attention.

Noah could feel the alcohol hitting him. He felt like he was having fun, even if he wasn't looking the part. Whenever he got his next drink, he drank it pretty quickly. If Dylan wanted him to relax, he would. The "no smoking" rule was too much for Noah though. It was hard to not smoke. Noah took another inhale from his cigarette and glanced at a girl he saw sit down at the bar. She was a very pretty lady, and it took Noah a bit to let that information sit with him. He had to take another look. Noah eyed her up and down quickly and looked away. He finished his drink and glanced at his cigarette. It was almost out at this point. Noah would use it till it practically burnt his fingers. He was feeling a bit extroverted at the moment, so he decided to see what this girl was all about. Dylan wanted to him to relax, didn't he?

Noah stood up from his chair and moved down next to the mystery girl. He gave her a smile as he sat down. "With eyes like those, I guess guys flock to you like a magnet." Noah told her. Her eyes were truly stunning to him. It was abnormal to have red eyes of course. How could he not be interested? "How come you're here alone? I can't imagine someone like you not having an item at your side. Are you just not the social kind?" Noah asked. He took another inhale from his cigarette and exhaled to the side. he was better than exhaling smoke in someone's face.

Noah wasn't the romantic type at all. He would love to spend the rest of his life alone. Something about this girl was different. She was gorgeous, but her presence commanded Noah's attention. He couldn't even think about getting another drink without thinking about ordering her one as well. He had never thought about a girl so much. Noah thought it was just the alcohol talking. Maybe there was something greater that was attacking him. The young man didn't know what love or attraction felt like, but a small part of him was telling him that this was it. Noah glanced back at the crowd of dancers to see if he could find Dylan. Of course, his friend was having the time of his life. Noah saw no problem in getting himself something fun as well. He switched his gaze back to the mystery girl next to him. "Let me buy you a drink. I don't mind at all, it's my treat for putting up with me this long." Noah offered.

She heard another guy next to her and she has had it at that point and was ready to break the glass and stab they guy in his eye until she saw who it is. His forwardness differed a bit from the guys that bothered her this night. She gave him a smile " Well...no i'm not usully the social kind. My job tends to keep me way to busy. As for an item with me....well same reason as my social life , my job tends to keep me away from such things in general " She said as she finished her margarita. She followed his gaze as her eyes landed on the other guy as well. She looked back at him when he turned back to her again "usually I just come to a place like this to relax from the stress of the office hours" she said as her eyes slightly narrowed at him. She was an Assassin , she was trained to have all of her emotions suspended....but she keeps on getting a strange feeling every time she looks and talks to the guy. Usually that would be anger or annoyance but this time it is a feeling she could not fully explain.

Of course to her he looks better then the usual muck-ups that she sees here or that tried getting her attention tonight. Could that be part of why she is feeling so strange. To her very core she would love to believe that it was suspicion that she was feeling but she knew how that felt and that wasn't it. Her attention was pulled back to the guy as he offered her a drink " who am i to say no to that offer like that. Don't be fooled by the margarita though. I can survive the strongest stuff trust me" She said with her usual slight smile before flagging down the bartender " The names Ruby by the way , been a while since I met someone outside of work that doesn't constantly fish for my number the first time they see me" she said still giving her slight smile all the way

Noah was kinda relieved to know that she wasn't too outgoing and was more reserved like he was. He didn't want someone like Dylan who would drag him to stuff like this. Watching TV all night while they lit up and drank was enough. It took him a bit, but Noah realized that he was starting to like this girl. She was so special to him already. Maybe this one time he could open up a bit of his life and let someone like this girl in his life. Hearing she came here to avoid the stress made Noah feel more relaxed. It was good to know that they could relate on something.

Noah glanced to the bartender when she flagged him down. He looked back at the girl when she said her name. He really liked her name. Something about it was very fitting for her. Her comment about other guys made Noah chuckle. "I'll try to wait on getting your number then. If you're going to turn me down when I do so, I just ask you to please do so nicely." Noah said and smiled some more. He ordered them both whiskey since it was what Noah drank the most. The young man put his cigarette out for once and replaced it with a glass of whiskey to occupy his hand. "To more relaxing time? I don't know..." The young man laughed and took a drink anyway. He sighed after the drink and looked at Ruby again. "I'm Noah." He said. "It's nice to finally meet someone like you."

She stifled a quick laugh at his comment " don't worry , you have been different so far so if I am going to turn you down , i will be as nice about it as I can be don't worry" She said before looking at the bartender bringing the drinks " What just happened ....did......did i just stifle a laugh at that. Well now this might be interesting , this guy is able to ....almost make me laugh. Maybe he is more different , I might say he is almost unique. And what is this damn feeling , am i becoming sick or something ? " she thought to herself , her attention only being torn away from her thoughts at the drinks being placed in front of them. She took her drink and smiled at him before stifling another laugh before raising her glass as well " To more relaxing times or at least as many as we can fit into our busy lives " she said and took a drink.

Her attention turned back to him as he spoke " wow you make it sound like i'm one of a kind , high praise to be sure but i'm also sure i can find someway to disappoint you" she said as she took another swig of her class before placing it down " Don't worry , i'm in no rush to do that yet. You are quite pleasant to have around Noah.....you certainly have a sort of charm to you since you still managed to hold my attention for this long and i don't mean that in a bad way at all " she said with a smile . Strange thing is , she kind of feels.....normal doing this. Normal is something she hasn't known in a long time ....... well other then the norm that she is use to. She thinks she may have found her friend outside of her job.....maybe it would be best for this guy to not know what she does during her work hours. Ruby thought on it for a bit " You know since you have proven to be more then a good drinking partner , how about i give you my number , throws a bit of a twist in my loop of guys asking " she said as she took a napkin and asked the bartender for a pen. She wrote her number down and gave it to him. " You know usually this is were the 2 party goers part ways but i have nowhere important to be , if you want we could take it to the dance floor " she asked with a slight smile.

Noah felt happy to hear that she would be nice if she ever turned him down. A smile came to his face. It was reassuring to know that she cared about his feelings as well. The longer Noah stayed by Ruby’s side, the more relaxed he felt. He found himself wanting to take care of her and protect her. Noah hated taking care of people and people taking care of him. He was very independent and hated other people that weren’t. Though, with Ruby, he didn’t mind if she ever relied on him.

Her response to his compliment made Noah blush a bit. He had never blushed before. Part of him was blaming the alcohol and thinking this was just temporary feelings. Hearing her call him charming made Noah chuckle a bit. No one had ever called him charming before. He didn’t see himself as charming at all. Noah was surprised when she decided to give him her number. He got out his phone and put her number in already. He put his phone up and started listening to Ruby’s idea of dancing now. It was nice to know what she felt the same way and didn’t want to leave him. Noah had never wanted to be around someone so much before. Thinking about leaving Ruby was the worst idea anyone could ever come up with. Something in Noah wanted to be next to her forever.

Noah saw nothing wrong with dancing. He shrugged and smiled at Ruby. “I can’t say no to you.” He chuckled. “I’m alright with dancing if that’s what you want.” Noah said. He downed what was left of his drink and then got off the chair. He stumbled a bit and grabbed Ruby’s arm for stability. Noah straightened up and laughed it off. “I’m okay, I swear.” He told Ruby and let go of her arm. Dylan saw him stumble though and was over to the pair pretty quickly. “Convince someone to drink too much?” He teased. Noah rolled his eyes. “Fuck off, Dylan.” Noah said. Surprisingly, he held Ruby’s hand just for fun. Dylan patted Noah’s back and looked at Ruby. “He doesn’t drink much. He much rather smoke a cigarette.” Dylan told Ruby. Noah sighed and looked at Ruby. “I give you permission to punch him if you want to.” Noah told her with a laugh. Dylan pushed Noah playfully and laughed. Noah stumbled a bit again, but he laughed it off. “Fuck off.” He chuckled.

She smiled and got up with him. Luckily with her training , she is able to support him enough when he stumbles . She might look like she can barely lift a full grocery bag but you would be surprised at her. She watched as the two friends conversed and joked with each other. She just shook and rolled her eyes at Dylan and Noah. When all was said and done , they made a move for the dance floor. Ruby had never drank so much so it was a surprise to her when she started stumbling slightly worse then Noah. She grabbed onto one of the private booth walls as she looked at Noah " Well.....i guess i'm not really that good at holding alcohol , give me a sec " she said as she took a moment " What is wrong with me , how am i allowing this to happen , how did I allow myself to drink that much......what affect is this guy having on me " she thought to herself before her attention turned back to him " I'll have to ask those questions later when i get home " she thought before actually speaking to him . " i think i'm ok now , come , the dance floor is waiting for us " she said as she lead him to the dance floor again , vision still slightly blurry but she can still see well enough.

When they made it to the dance floor , she noticed that he was still holding her hand. She thought that it might not be a bad idea , she wouldn't want to be alone in this crowd. She locked her fingers with his to make sure that she doesn't lose him before looking at him. " come on Noah , lets see what you can do and in turn i'll....try to show you what i can do on a dance floor " she said with a smile as she pulled him to the middle of the dance floor where the party started

Noah was glad that Ruby wasn’t pushing him away with how drunk he was. He helped her when she stumbled as well. “Take your time, there’s no rush.” He said. Noah was so happy to be spending time with Ruby like this. He was so crazy about her already. He didn’t want the night to end. Noah smiled when she seemed to be alright again. He laughed and followed her to the dance floor, just happy to be here with Ruby.

At her invitation to dance, he laughed and shrugged. “I’m a horrible dancer.” He said. “I just know how to slow dance.” Noah told Ruby. He pulled her close to him and wrapped his arms around her waist and started swaying like they were slow dancing. Noah was having fun no matter what. Ruby was just perfect to him, and he couldn’t have a better dance partner. Dylan had rejoined the dance party, but he stayed away from Noah and Ruby to give them some time alone.

Noah looked at Ruby and smiled at her. “I’m having a lot of fun.” He told her. “I’m going to have a hard time leaving you whenever I have to.” He admitted. The alcohol was making him open up more, but he meant everything he said.

This was strange , for the first time in quite a while she was actually having.....fun. She was kind of afraid of it because it's able to trump her training so easily.....or was it Noah.....something about this guy was just having some strange affect on her. She would have loved to blame the alcohol and alcohol alone but she usually isn't as tempted by it , then this guy offers some and she just jumps for it no questions asked. She kept on thinking before she was pulled close to him. Assassin self-defense instincts almost kicked in and he would have been injured quite badly but she heard him say that slow dance is the only dance he knows. She looked at him straight in the eyes. There came that feeling again. A feeling she once again can't explain and thus can't get rid off. She was once again convinced that she was becoming sick as her face also started burning and she felt like she had a bit of a fever. Her body went with the flow though while her mind slightly panicked.

His words always managed to tear her away from her thoughts. She could only smile at him , unaware that she was blood red from the blushing "It might be hard leaving be but give yourself a pat on the back Noah.....you are the only guy that got my number and you have a way of getting in touch with me again if you wanted. I would call that a great success , a success that overshadows the hard time of leaving me " she said as she had relaxed a bit more and got into the slow dance with him. She didn't know the steps but she is a quick learner after all

Noah loved seeing the blush on her face. He thought she looked so cute already, but her blushing just made her look even cuter. Noah listened to her talk about how he should be proud of himself. He was proud of himself. He had never done something like this where he got a girl’s number so fast. Her optimism of leaving later made Noah feel better. She made it seem that she wanted to keep in touch with him. That made Noah feel better about leaving whenever he had to. He hoped he didn’t chase her off somehow. Noah really wanted to keep in touch with Ruby. She was so special to him already. He was expecting himself to already call her at least once a day.

Noah smiled back at Ruby as he listened to her. “Try to not have me annoy you, okay?” He chuckled. “I might be really into you already if we’re being honest. A girl’s never had me under a spell like you have.” Noah said. He was being completely honest with Ruby. He hoped he didn’t sound crazy at the moment. Noah glanced around and then looked at Ruby again. “What are you doing after this?” He asked her. “We can grab a hotel room if you’d like to. It’d be nice to wake up to your face.” Noah said. He was proud of him for even asking Ruby something like this. This wasn’t something he was used to doing.

She nodded and smiled at him "Trust me , you would know if you start annoying me" she said as she gave him a wink while they continued dancing. "Charming and capable of dancing a slow dance which i doubt most of the men here can do. You really did surprise me Noah. I think we will be seeing more of each other when the time comes for us to part ways " she said as she gave him a bit of a confused look " Well now. First time a man ever told me i had them under a spell......well ......actually no forget I said that. You are the first and only man to ever get this far which still surprises me" she said as she looked away from him for a bit " That is true actually, again how did a guy just sweep her off her feet like that , she is better then that , what is his secret " she thought to herself before looking at him.

She heard his suggestion of a hotel room and a few of her self defense senses kicked in a bit mainly because hotels are only found in her father's rival's territory " Oh...oh no no no. It sound quite tempting but i have a few roommates that would have a big problem with me not coming home tonight. I would have loved to but i am not in the mood to put up with their long speeches of worrying about me. You know their paranoia and well.....the streets not being safe what with all the gangs around the city" she said with a bit of a sigh. She didn't mention syndicates because the average joe citizen has no knowledge of the syndicate or know they exist and she was not in the mood to explain why she would know of the syndicates. She shook her head and looked at him . " Hey , why don't we grab another drink at the bar hmm? " she said as she looked between him and the bar.

Noah blushed a bit when she winked at him. It felt like electric waves ran through him. He smiled hearing that he had surprised her. He was kinda proud of himself for getting this far with Ruby. He had never been a ladies man, but Ruby was really special to him. He started thinking up scenarios of the two of them together and his heart felt so full. Just picturing the two together was adorable to him. Noah didn’t really realize it, but a frown formed on his face when Ruby turned down the hotel room suggestion. He understood her excuses though.

Noah wasn’t about to start elaborating on the “gangs” she mentioned. He wanted to keep his identity a secret for as long as possible. It was too risky to not give something away. Mentioning the bar made Noah smile a bit. “Yeah, that’ll be fun.” Noah said. He held her hand again as they walked back over. Noah sat back down in the same chair as earlier and helped Ruby into the one next to him. “Was my slow dancing too boring?” He teased Ruby. Noah got some more whiskey and paid for the drink and whatever Ruby got. “So, Ruby, tell me about yourself. What do you do for fun?” Noah asked her.

She ordered a few shots again before turning to him after he regarded her " No your slow dancing wasn't boring at all " she said as she downed a shot " You want me to tell you about myself.....well i'm not really that open about myself to be honest but there might be a few things i am willing to answer and that question is one of them unfortunately. Well ........well.......i......hmmmm " she goes silent for a bit as she zoned out. She focused again after some time " you know i haven't really done anything that would be considered fun. I guess my job.....keeps me to busy. I mean this is the first off day i've had in a really really long time " she said as she looked at him " Guess i never really though of things outside of duty......it's almost strange now that i think about it " she said before shaking her head " but hey.....what do you do for fun , i'm sure someone like you have a far more exciting life then me " she said as she took another shot glass in her hand and downed it

Noah could feel himself getting tired and he was ready to go to bed, but Ruby meant so much to him. Leaving Ruby was leaving any chance of a relationship behind. Noah wasn’t crazy about the thought of a relationship in general, but Ruby was so different. He listened to her start to answer and then zone out. He wondered if maybe she should hold off on drinking some more, but he didn’t say anything about it. It wasn’t his place to tell her to stop drinking.

Noah didn’t blame Ruby for not having anything to talk about, but he didn’t know what to talk about for himself either. Noah chuckled and shrugged. “You took all the good stuff to talk about, I don’t know what to say anymore.” Noah joked and drank some more whiskey. “I guess this is what I do for fun. I like to stay in and watch movies and shows as well.” He said. Noah really was an introvert at heart. Even if everything tonight was out of his comfort zone, he would never turn away a movie and a night in with some friends. Noah wrapped an arm around Ruby and gently rubbed her arm. “Whenever you’re ready to leave, I can walk you home. I like knowing you’ll be safe, and with all the gang running around, who knows who you’ll meet.”

She smiled at him " Oh i thought i took all the good stuff to talk about , you had more to talk about then me " she said with a bit of a chuckle before looking at her last drink. The fact that she doesn't have a lot to talk about due to her job ....somehow upsets her but she doesn't show it. This was this first time she actually got out , the first time she was normal and not just some shadow killer. Of course she couldn't tell Noah that. She felt him put his hand around her causing her to look at his hand then at him as he spoke. That is actually sweet of him. He wants to make sure she gets home safely. Of course the gangs here know of her so they wouldn't mess with her but she can't really get out of this one now.

She smiled and nodded at him "yeah i think it might be coming to that time , i'm waiting for my friends to bust down that door with a SWAT team any moment now looking for me " she said with a smile before she got her things and started walking with him before stopping by the door " Wait what about your friend over there , aren't you going to let him know or will this club keep him busy long enough until you come back " she asked as she looked between him and his friend on the danse floor. "I mean if so we can go , i don't live to far from the club anyway " she said still smiling despite her slowly becoming tired
