Circle 1: Circle one is a circle that welcomes all levels of mages. This circle wishes to give those that feel like outsiders and loners or just different a home. They are about equality and acceptance and are a very homy group. Your home away from home if you will. They are not to be underestimated, however, they do have their handful of powerful mages.
Location: Within the school
Size: Medium

Circle 2 (Synergy): Circle two requires rank three or higher. This circle is about bettering oneself and hard work. They believe they have a greater purpose in life than to sit around wasting away their powers or causing issues around the city. They are very disciplined and are put through vigorous training among enrollment.
Location: Within the school (Leader: Synergy)
Size: Small

Circle 3: Circle three requires mages of rank four or higher. This circle is a rather unruly group with a general superiority complex. This circle causes a lot of trouble for those around them and seems to make it their job to give others a hard time. They are within their own right, a strong circle that is somewhat chaotic. - The problem circle / the some misfits, some bad guys.

Hunter Organizations:

Although hunter organizations may have existed for variable amounts of time, none of them have made themselves known; that is until recently when the school encountered one of them. Although they have encountered one, this was before students attended, and they have not yet informed any of the the students, and are keeping everything silent. In the mean time, several select staff members as well as council members are performing an investigation.

Hunter organizations may have different goals. Some exist in order to purge the world of magical and supernatural beings, whether due to hatred, fear, revenge, or anything else. They believe that they are helping the world, helping their family, or perhaps it just feels fulfilling for themselves. Others, have more selfish reasons, in that they are similar to bounty hunters, and do it for the money, the glory, or sometimes just for fun. Hunters may operate like bounty hunters, or may operate in large organized teams.

Extinction: Extinction very much operates like an organization full of bounty hunters. Wanted posters are put up of specific people, or certain races or abilities are posted. However, members are also welcome to capture whoever they want, higher ranks being priority. Some people are kill on sight, some request a head, or some request more gruesome things. Members get paid for their findings in various ways, and often boast of their achievements.

Purity: Purity is an organization that believes that supernatural and magical beings are a threat to the world. They want to remove them from existence, and claim that they are saving society. This organization is highly organized, and often operates in small groups. They are directed and there is a large chain of command. Purity is highly funded, although its not known by whom, and there is some association with a specific church.

Rancorisim:

  • Magic
A widely known term in every nation, the other-worldly phenomenon to blooster one's influence and social standpoint depending on use. Broadly speaking, magic is an enigmatic force that bypasses common sense as it isn't subjective to common laws of physics. Some claim magic has been around since the break of dawn, and some would rather believe it's a hideous, temporary candle, passed down to humanity and will soon extinguish away.

Scholars have come to a conclusion that Magic exists in every form and has no specified notion or pattern. However, to make the concept comprehensible for intellectual organizations it was broken in two.

    • Ambient Magic.
      Practical Magic.

Ambient, or as some may refer to as "Mana," is a mystical resonance soaking all around us. It continues to motion in an endless flow, and a few 'fortunate' individuals are born with a peculiar sense of energy, allowing them to not only feel this enigmatic flow, but to also harness its potential for practical use. This latter definition is "Practical Magic," as it requires a sort of channeling/absorbing/redirecting mana following the user's will.

General Society And Supernatural

Regular society has a very split view of their views on supernatural and magical beings. Half of society supports the existence and rights of supernaturals, and treats them as equals, walking among them with ease. There are others however, who do not support their presence within their area, are afraid of them, or have been ingrained to hate them due to religion or cult based beliefs. Of these people, some simply tolerate them, and others avoid them, harass them, protest against them, or are racist against them. Often times, depending on the area you are in within the world, there will be large amounts of people with similar opinions on the supernatural. All supernaturals and magical beings currently have legal rights in place which are meant to protect them.

General Society, Hunters, And Individual Race Issues

Though much of society is full of good natured, law abiding individuals, it also has a much darker side, and those individuals often have other plans for supernaturals. Though the minority, they pose the threats below.

Vampires

Vampires are one of the races that have the most issues with some of the darker side of the general public, or even other supernaturals who have chosen a darker path. Vampires are often the first individuals to be sought after by trafficking rings, which they are then made to be prostitutes and escorts, due to people's fetish for their bite. However type C vampires are especially valued in this area, due to their euphoric bite, and ability to give blood. Humans working in these rings sometimes hire hunters in order to try and obtain type C vampires, but will sometimes go after them themselves.

Another threat type C vampires face is being forced to be part of 'blood banks' where they are forced to repeatedly bite people and give blood.

Werewolves

One threat werewolves face is being attacked and having their hide skinned and sold on the black market. Their hides sell for a high price, and can also be used by other supernatural for basic medicines.

Demons

Demons aren't very liked as a species, so they face more racism than that of the other races, but their horns also sell for a decent price on the black market. This is simply due to their nature, and some strange kind of conquering bragging right.

Succubus/incubus

Succubus face many of the same threats as vampires, with the addition of hunters and others coming after them to obtain their horns, ears, or tail for the black market. Their body parts sell for a very high price, and can even be used in a variety of dark magic potions, as well as love potions, naturally.

Zombies

Zombies do not particularly face many threats, however, the one thing that may be of harm of them is their initial necromancer.

Ghosts

The largest threat for ghosts would be those highly dedicated to religion. They are often trying to purge ghosts, and will commonly do rituals to get rid of them.

Witch/Wizards

Wizards are sometimes approached by those that want to take advantage of their ability for crime, war, or other purposes.

Alchemists

While alchemists don't face any kind of direct threats, many people often want to take advantage of them and their potions for research, or personal use.

Necromancers

Necromancers sometimes run into the awkward issue of very desperate families wanting them to resurrect their loved ones, or perhaps even just talk to them (although that's not how they work). Although it's not necessarily a common occurrence, it is not particularly rare either.

Dark Magicians

Dark magicians are the second species, and yet main interest of that of the government. It is quite hush hush, and no one knows how they want to operate with them, but it is assumed that they want to make them into some kind of military weapon.
