The Year is 2050, and the age of Marvels has since passed, most of, if not all our beloved heroes perished in the Gleaning, an intergalactic event that saw The Living Tribunal judge those who we looked up to save us as unworthy of their second and third and fourth chances at life and without a moment's hesitation our heroes were gone, but the villains? They got to stay, for the next 10 years Earth was laid siege both within and without, but thanks to those who laid their lives down, the smartest minds on the planet managed to erect an energy shield around the planet, keeping the likes of the Kree, Skrull, Shi'ar and others at bay. It took 5 years for America to fall into a dystopia, and in another two it was formed into New Madripoor. In the UK in that same time, all mutants were shipped overseas where they were told they would have new lives in Canada, but the reality was they were taken to Genosha, where death by the nuclear bomb awaited them. By 2045, only Wakanda had remained unchanged in it's governance thanks to it's superior technology and cultural identity. This is where our story begins, gone was the Heroic Age, now begins The Twilight Era
The Players On The Board
A.I.M- In accordance with Pax Mutua, the treaty signed by HYDRA, AIM, The Army of Punishment, and many others, A.I.M. Is allowed free reign of many Hydra territories, but are based in the South Pacific at A.I.M. Island
Annihilus- a reluctant member of the many empires looking to ravage Earth at it's galactic doorstep
Apocalypse- Currently residing and warring with his children in Arrako (ask me what that is if you haven't read any of the krakoa era comics), but if and when he returns, there will be a reckoning for the UK
Arcade- One of the wealthiest men in New Madripoor, he now runs a televised reality show version of Murderworld set in the Savage Land called Murder Island where if one person out of a group of twenty isn't killed within 3 days time, they all die
Baron Mordo- The Hydra affiliated Sorcerer Supreme and the handler of the deadliest demon to ever exist
Baron Zemo The Second- Believed to be the son of Helmut, but is actually a clone, he is on the Hydra security council and coordinates many of the villains in a similar fashion to running the old timey Thunderbolts
T'Chelle/Black Panther- The son of T'Challa and current leader of Wakanda, the last free area in the world which is protected by a force field of unequal measure
Unknown/Black Widow- An unknown woman who was tortured and relentlessly trained by Hydra and The Red Room to be one of their ultimate killers, she is tasked with hunting down any undesirables around the globe
Bob, Agent of HYDRA- With the death of Deadpool, Bob has managed to climb his way into a high ranking position of the terrorist organization, though he sometimes has clumsy moments, he's always working on being better
Bullseye/The Constable- Bullseye is the law around many parts of the world, enforcing it for Hydra, or whoever he wants to at any given moment, even at his old age he is a ruthless killer with a laser powered eyeball in his head (Think his role in Old Man Hawkeye) and will kill without any provocation, just because
Cletus Kasady- Though no longer Carnage, Cletus is still a killer, and runs a HYDRA political prison in Alaska where he is allowed free reign on inmates, nobody ever survived for longer than a year there
Chameleon- A reluctant agent of Hydra who is tasked with finding any form of resistance and gathering intel before leading them to the slaughter
The Controller- He has joined with Norman Osborn and formed a new company known as Control Corp, their main product is aerosolized Control Disks that people all over the world breath in and are fed 24/7 Hydra, Aim, Friends of Humanity, Army of Punishment, and whatever else terror organizations' propaganda with live feed coming straight to their eyes and minds
Crimson Dynamo- The current Crimson Dynamo is one of the sole protectors of Russia and it's leader, and will kill any invaders if they are not heavily vetted
Crossbones- Now more machine than man, the cyborg travels with Black Widow on her many hunts
