"We both came to California with a new life ahead of us. Me, living in a new continent, and being around more and more downworlders, while she, living more and being more aware of the Shadow World. We met each other at the Shadow Market, and took some time for us to befriend each other, being wary of one another, but she's the best person I know. We compliment each other. We're both so different but yet the same, and after losing my parabatai, I didn't think I'd ever befriend someone like I had with Lillian, but Oleth proved me wrong. A warlock and a shadowhunter as each other's bestest friends..who would have ever thought."

R E L A T I O N S H I P S

= ALICIA: Alicia is a masterpiece, and a puzzle to Cecile. The latter has yet to solve the puzzle. While yes, the girls are close and have worked together many times, they don't see eye to eye on the battlefield, and one day that could get them killed. For now, they're reckless little girls saving the world every day.

= VIOLET: Violet is someone that Cecile grew up with in Idris, seeing as their families were somewhat close. From the start, the two girls instantly clicked. Cecile never expected that years later, when they were just barely teenagers, she'd be doing the parabatai ritual with Violet. Now, just barely in adulthood, the two girls are closer than ever, and they use their trust in each other on the battlefield. Violet is the sister that Cecile always wanted, but never had.

= SUNNI: Sunni is another Shadowhunter that Cecile trusts with her life. The two met in Idris when they were merely children but when Cecile moved to Baltimore, they distanced from each other. The two finally began interaction during the Dark War, fighting alongside each other. Cecile tends to call him 'Sunshine' for he's a ball of sunshine in her eyes.

= OLETH: Oleth is a warlock that Cecile was well acquainted with during the Dark War, as there were times where they fought together. Other than that, she hasn't had a chance to properly get to know her.

= EZREAL: Cecile finds him very beautiful, but he's acts like an old man yelling at people to get off his property, so he scares her, and any insult directed towards him is usually one that she regrets a second later.

ALICIA GRAYBOW
A very close friend that aoife respects and trusts with anything. alicia is someone who aoife can depend on for anything and vise versa, the two became friends unexpectedly but it blossomed into something that they hope never breaks. words cannot describe how much this girl means to aoife.

SIRIUS MALATESTA
Another one of aoifes close friends. she was putting away returned books in her bookstore when she smelled his wet dog scent waft nto her store. she immediately cornered him ready to snap his neck but something stopped her. he was a fresh and confused young wolf. she decided to help him and the two became close friends. aoife loves this boy to death and will make sure nothing bad ever happens to him, he's like a brother to her.

OLETH TULA
Ola tries super hard to act cool and badass lke aoife but that isn't what aoife wants from her. she likes ola's weird and unpredictable personality cause it makes her unique from everyone else. aoife constantly has to tell the warlock that she is perfect the way she is and shouldn't have to be something she's not. aoife likes the warlocks company.

VIOLET DEVERAUX
Aoife likes how innocent this baby shadowhunter is. since she is not old enough to drink she makes it up to her by letting her have some non-alcoholic drinks. she wouldn't want the young girl to be left out, she doesn't want to hear sirius nagging about how it sucks that his girlfriend can't drink in the bar. although she doesn't know a whole lot about the girl she would like to at least make her feel welcomed.

CECILE LIGHTWOOD
Another innocent shadowhunter who aoife is tolerant with. she comes to aoife for advice about how to deal with racism and other sorts and although aoife finds the topic to be uncomfortable due to past events she puts her concerns aside and gives her advice.

EZREAL DEAN
Aoife is real good friends with ez, he knows that she is not one to be messed with and he knows her boundaries. aoife will sometimes ask ez for favors that she is unable to do which she will then return the favor. she can trust ez even though he is super duper evil and only wants to care about himself. she never has problems with him and would like to keep it that way.

Aoife and Verena have a mutual friendship. She doesn't know her well excdpt for the fact that she cant keep her hands to herself. Aoife dislikes people who touch all of her stuff without her permission but in Verenas case she let it slide since this girl had no clue about the downworld. A small irkness turned mutual friendship is what Aoife got. Verena asks a lot of questions about the place she is now living at and Aoife doesn't mind her eager curiosity as long as she does it with her hands not included.

if it was in another life-time, perhaps the two would be able to see eye to eye, but it seems they never would. for one: she's one of those damned shadowhunters and for two: never would verena trust a shadowhunter with her life, especially since the two sides have been at each other's neck since the "betrayal" [it's like asking a killer for forgiveness, and we will have none of that tom-foolery]. but, for what it's worth, she sure intrigues verena and wouldn't grow bored of the girl, especially with their banter. it's quite thrilling.

the moment she stepped foot in the bar was the moment verena found herself well-acquainted with the owner of the bar. she was another downworlder, thankfully, not a shadowhunter. regardless, verena believes her to be her own "walking resource", somewhat a "friend", if you will, that can help verena navigate her way around the area. truly, the only time she ever showed her "joy" was around aoife whenever she learned about new things and added new knowledge to her collection. however, verena likes being around the woman, especially since it seems she never really judges her by status or quite frankly, species. it's quite. . . different.

at first, verena believed the girl to be another typical shadowhunter. however, when she hears of the name "lightwood", a curious brow will be raised in place of verena's nonchalant, stoic face. perhaps, from afar she would observe the girl, but then, she knows better yet to be fooled by any facade, even her own. so, maybe she will come to learn to trust the girl, or better yet, be on the same page. however, that dream is far from reality, so perhaps the two will be able to prove their differences yet still remain neutral parties. how unnerving but exciting

it's quite nice to know someone is on the same page as you, especially in getting what you want, when you want. the end does justify the means and at least someone around here gets the idea and point. verena knows she can rely on him to get things done quickly and efficiently. despite both being manipulaters, verena finds it possibly quite, absolutely adventurous whenever the two are able to go hand-in-hand in the fray, taking in every chance they get to be sly. the game is just beginning, isn't it, ezreal?
