This is going to be a push your luck move; you roll with Passion - which in your case gives you a -1 modifier to the result - and you'll always have to pay some kind of cost for such audacity (in this case a hit to your fatigue). On the other hand, if you roll 10 or more, your boldness will reward you with some lucky opportunity.

don't mind - and I'm only going to ask the two of you, since what's happening with O-Ren doesn't really concern the fight in the camp - I can edit my post so that O-Ren instead takes two conditions when she realizes she's missed the river and is going to smash hard into the unforgiving ground, before being caught by the diving save of Bamboo and Smoochie. After this, the two of you'll be able to engage Mako in your own combat exchange, if you so choose.
The river's right next to the camp, but even if Mako came out of the river on the same side, he'll still be all banged up from his landing and exhausted from having to swim in his armour, not to mention a good distance away from the breach in the camp walls. You can absolutely ignore him and treat him as effectively removed from the battle if you like.

When gathered together in large numbers, Minor NPCs - who are generally just mooks/goons to be swatted aside by the PC's - are abstracted into a single Group NPC that has the stats (i.e. fatigue, number of conditions and balance levels) of a higher NPC tier (Either Major or Master).We can attack entire groups?

Sure, once you fly close enough. You won't even have to roll for it, seeing as Mako's not exactly in any position to resist you, thus there's no way the move can really fail.

The only Mako I know is the beloved Asian-American actor who played Uncle Iroh and passed away from throat cancer during Avatar: The Last Airbender, leaving behind one hell of an acting legacy matched only, perhaps, by James Hong (Lo Pan of Big Trouble and Little China).
