Background -
Annalise was born as a twin to her sister, Anastasia. They were born to Christian and Larissa Orandol. The Orandol family had been very successful after coming from Old Earth, as on Old Earth they had already been a wealthy family and buying their way onto the escape ship hadn't been a problem.
Christian however had not inherited his families wealth, when they had found out he was marring an Apathy they had a fit and cut him off completely, leaving him and his wife Larissa with nothing except what he had already had in his bank account, which he took and enrolled at the Academy, becoming a high ranking officer in the military after, securing his families future for all generations to come.
That of course is how Aurora and her sister got into the Academy. When they came of age the Academy was more than honored to accept them into their ranks.
After graduating Aurora went into the Military, where she became known as "The Claymore" for her extreme strength and her Claymore on the battlefield. When she was twenty-eight she was mortally wounded and became paralyzed from the waist down. After she went through extensive therapy after serving, she was requested to serve as the Vice Principal at the Academy and she gladly accepted.

So after she graduated from the Academy she went to college to become an English Teacher.
After she graduated she made sure to put an application in at the Academy, knowing that it would be long time until they needed one, but she wanted her name to be on the list of applicants should the opportunity become available.
For several years she worked at the local high school in her home land until she was twenty-five and she was informed that the Academy had an opening for an English teacher. she quickly jumped at the opportunity and took the new job.
