Aumesuhr

History

There was often talk of an old legend from long ago that featured a demon like no other aimlessly wandering about the land, feeding on any souls that it came across its path or how people perceive it. It was said that on the foggiest of nights, it would appear at a long distance slowly walking through the heavy dense fog. Nearby animals around the time of its surfacing will begin to hide and/or start making noises towards its location as if they are being threatened or frightened. Black feathered crows will start to flock to the creature's position as if they are being pulled in by something unaware. A nasty atmosphere will emerge that lingers in the air. Residents will usually look about and notice the demon's appearance clueless as what to do. The demon is described by witnesses as a tall human figure covered with an appearance of skin colored in a complete utter darkness, a shade so dark that no light could escape from it. A tail, long and bigger than any animal that has come to known. Red glowing eyes, the source of its true intent. And a scarf, red as the blood of its victims, seen even in the darkest of nights. Some will stay inside feeling uncomfortable by its presence, while others will go out and confront it. Those who are known to confront the demon disappear in the fog never to be heard or seen by again. The event lasts several hours before slowly vanishing out of sight. All effects will then cease and return everything to normal. In the aftermath, many residents faded from their homes and businesses are found weeks later completely ripped apart of their own flesh and body, left in a body of water or ditch. Animals that were wandering about the fields that night within its domain are too, killed in a similar manner. The causes of death are still undetermined to this day. Its sudden appearances are all but random. It is not known where and when it appears according to its long history. However, it is rumored that it is still wandering about, deep in the forests of Sarthenfall, just...standing... As if it is waiting for something. While everyone tells it the same, some point out a small detail that is normally overlooked. A quiet echoing of humming to a forgotten song.

Yes, a freak of nature the demon is. Very mysterious without question. But as time passed on through the centuries, most people nowadays disregard is as an old fairytale used to frighten badly behaved children in order to reform them. Even to the point of forgotten of its existence. Truth be told, that this was neither one nor an old legend at that. Since it's time in this world, he is called Aumesuhr. The Forgotten One.

Insight

Unlike most demons, Aumesuhr is a bit tougher in terms of both strength and durability. While fire is the more prominent weapon used against the demon forces, Aumesuhur strangely has a slight resistance to the flames. Nevertheless, he can still be injured. What sets Aumesuhur apart the rest of his kind is his unique abilities. The ability to control liquid blood of any living thing. Aumesuhur can then control that living creature and manipulate them in any fashion. Wither to control its body or simply kill it. Aumesuhur can also use the blood fallen on the battlefield as a weapon puncturing men at his choosing. Of course, there are disadvantages to the ability since he is still learning it's capacities. One of which he can only use his ability if he is within a certain range of a person. And in order to control larger groups of people, Aumesuhur requires more focus without interruption to maintain control. Despite his drawbacks, Aumesuhur is still regarded as a large threat.

If the situation arises that he is unable to use his power, he can always resort to his primary weapon of choice, his spear.
