Encyclopedia Terms

Auger: A special power discovered by man. Little is known, but they say it was generated by the Barton Academy incident.

Oracles: Standard Mechs. There's several mass produced models, and a few unique models. The general Oracle stands between 4 to 6 meters tall and weighs several tons depending on the model. Typically humanoid in nature with modifications and colors distinguishing different Oracles. The typical Oracle can do these functions: Wield Special Oracle Weapons, Thermos Sensors, Emergency Exit Pod, and Land Travel via the use of special terrain tire feet.

Floats: Circular sleds, or rectangular boards that allow Oracles to fly easily. Some Oracles may be equipped with thrusters to allow for perpetual flight without the use of floats; however, floats are necessary for sustained flight travel in an Oracle.

Olatine: A province in the Eranyne Empire. Jumlie is one city in Olatine.

Ukronia: A union of countries.

Gangel Federation: A union of countries.

Southeast Territories: A union of countries.

Jumlie: A city of the Eranyne Empire. It's a standard metropolis with a wide array of locations. Jumlie contains the Barton Academy. It's importance in the Empire is the use of its deserts for scientific research and development.

Barton Academy: An academy that specially selects its own students. Most students dream of becoming a Barton Graduate, as it opens doors to many positions in the Eranyne Empire.

High Tides: A small terrorist organization that contains an Airship, Several Oracles, and Amitite Weaponry. They're rumored to have around 20 members.

Eranyne Empire: The Eranyne empire reigns over half the world. They were the first to discover Amitite as well as to develop the Oracles. Currently, they struggle with keeping the peace against the rise of terrorism as well as the continual desire to quell rebellion in their conquered territories.

Eranyne Military Force: The Eranyne's Military Force's main purpose is to quell rebellion, terrorism, and to battle. All militants are equipped with a Data Chip which determines their serial number and identification within the Eranyne Military.

Timelines

Eranyne Empire Timeline
Years 2045~2103: The Stale War occurred during this time period. The three superpowers Ukrone, Meric, and Valeniti tried to submit their control over third world and second world countries. They vied for their ideologies to reign supreme over the world.

Year: 2103: The Great Data Crisis resulted in a loss of wealth, territory, power, and influence for a multitude of countries. The original superpowers lost sway over the world, and many wars occured due to the lack of leadership from the superpowers. It's unknown how the Great Data Crisis occurred, but many speculate that Amitite may have been responsible despite its development in future years.

Year 2157: Eran Uyn Kowildas formed the Eranyne Empire as a means of attaining power due to the disarray between many countries. He was successful due to his charisma, military strategy, and the mysterious startup of a new data system known as the Tetra Project. The Tetra Project allowed for an ease in data transmission, meaning King Kowildas was able to efficiently manage his territories, as the superpowers, and other countries lacked a data system.

Year 2157~2632: Kowildas' reigns persisted throughout this time period. Many new Emperors arose and were mainly in power due to their unique data system. The Eranyne Empire lacked tools for expansion, they could only keep their territories in check, since other countries had developed their own unique data systems. By the end of 2632, two important events occurred, the world's recovery was completed and a new heir was born, his name was Onadine Uyn Kowildas the Eighth.

Year 2654: Miners find new minerals, which allowed Scientists in the Eranyne Empire to create Amitite, a powerful and impressive compound that offered efficient power usage, as well as providing a means of increasing the Eranyne Empire's data limit. Upon its founding, Onadine issued an order for the creation of a new weapon, specifically Oracles, an old military design that required a hefty amount of energy and data in order to function properly.

Year 2654~2657: Oracles are made, developed, and tested during this time period. During this time, Onadine prepared his military force by issuing a mandatory enlistment to all able bodied citizens between the ages 19~40.

Year 2658: The Eranyne Empire, on this year, conquered and controlled their neighboring enemy countries. Onadine, upon hearing the news, decided to expand even further, resulting in an on-going war. With a huge abundance of military soldiers due to the Eranyne Empire's success, the King's mandatory enlistment was not prevalent.

Year 2658~2678: The Eranyne Empire was able to conquer almost half the world. Unfortunately, many countries had stolen the Empire's technology, and even formed unions or federations to prevent the Eranyne Empire from becoming the sole superpower. Ukronia, Gangel Federation, and Southeast Territories all formed as a means of limiting the Eranyne Empire's expansion into particular territories. Thus, the Eranyne Empire's warfront increased immensely within that twenty year time period. Also, the Eranyne Empire began to deal with Terrorists, as many conquered territories disliked the destruction of their culture, as well as the Eranyne Empire's classification of conquered people as second class citizens.

Year 2679: The High Tides Terrorist organization was founded, and the Eranyne Empire issued a new mandate that allowed conquered people to be recognized as lesser first class citizens, if they joined the military, or participated in specific jobs. This new mandate was to quell terrorism, and to prevent resistance.

Year 2683: Present Day.

Recruit: A new recruit who has completed basic combat training.

Officer: A soldier with at least a year of military experience, who's passed an intelligence/military test.

Sergeant: Second-in-command of a force.
General: First-in-command of a force.

Model use is dependent on the pilot, if they prefer using thrusters, or floats. All High Tides Pilots will use Model 1, but they can hijack a Model 2, during the first part of the roleplay. All EMF pilots can use Model 1 or Model 2. Students can hijack either model. High Tides Oracles will be any color, whereas all EMF Oracles are painted a dark blue.


EMF Military Outfit

The above outfit may be used for other tasks. It is the standard military garment. Color is black primary and purple secondary. Ranks are distinguished by badges.

Source

The source comes from an unknown entity that will be revealed between turn 4~5 of the roleplay.

Contract

The contract is a necessary component to ensure the individual can utilize their powers.

Vision

The vision is a person's innermost thoughts that influence the use of their Auger.

All Things Oracles

Components of an Oracle

1. Oracles run off of Amitite, a necessary power source to keep the Oracles from overheating.
2. Oracles have special land tire terrain feet to allow movement on rough surfaces.
3. Oracles have thermonuclear censors that allow them to find heat energy signals.
4. Oracles have an emergency exit pod.
5. Humanoid Oracles are around 4 to 6 meters tall depending on the modifications.

Modules of an Oracle

1. Standard Knife. A large knife, about half a meter. It can cut through an Oracle's protection.
2. Standard Assault Rifle. Shoots 30mm APHE, or Armor Piercing High Explosive bullets.
3. Standard Missile Launcher. Shoots a missile which can damage a target heavily.
4. Thrusters. Allows an Oracle to fly without the use of Floats. (Model 2 Only)
5. Armor. An Oracle's average armor is around 76mm, but there are weak points located near its joints.

Oracle Modifications

1. Oracles can be modified to have different functions, appearance, etc.

Floats

1. Specially designed for Air Combat, floats allow an Oracle to stay in the air for a long period of time.
2. Floats utilize Amitite to stay afloat as well as a special anti-gravity propulsion system.

EMF Data System, aka Tetra

EMF's Data System is composed of large array of networks within the Empire that all connect to the mainframe. Its name is called Tetra.

Originally, Tetra was used as a means of providing and sorting data to ensure Eranyne's stability as a new empire. Many speculate the system was created by a new mathematical equation that quantified data in a different measurement.

As the years passed, data began to accumulate rapidly causing the Tetra system to expand and contain a multitude of hard drives. It's impossible to sort through everything, but many agreed that it's marvelous the system continued today.

When Amitite was discovered, it increased the potency of Tetra, as well as for other data networks.

Data Chips were created as a means to verify loyal soldiers within the Eranyne Empire.

The Divi Connect

The year 2000 marked a new millennium to mankind. On this year, a scientific study on data had proven that the evolution of beings was done through the planet's memory. Man wasn't a product of any god, but rather a portion of data that was coded to appear. Many took this finding badly, and the three superpowers were dealt a large blow. Insurrections of civil unrest appeared as they questioned the legitimacy of this scientific finding. Fortunately, the superpowers quelled the ordeal, and the man who made the discovery was considered a world criminal.

A new group appeared, called the Divi Church, which took the scientific study to heart. They sought the truth of data. They hid themselves, biding for their time to reveal the truth to mankind. On the year 2103, the Divi Church ended the stale war with a bug that managed to crash all known data networks worldwide.

Unfortunately, there was a betrayer that decided to make his own kingdom using the Divi Church's sacred restoration install. And so the Divi Church lost their supposed way to obtain power. However, disciples and descendants of Divi are told the truth of 2000, despites the lack of information in history books.

In this present day, there's been recent mentions of Divi in the form of a Divi Connect. A Divi Connect is a bond or promise that captures a person's motivation. However, many are confused as to how this term began spreading.

Amitite

A new resource and element created by Scientists. It mainly functions as an excellent power supplier, allowing the creation of new machinery. Its creation involves a mixture of several powerful radioactive elements. It loses its radioactivity by electrical currents that constrict Amitite's destructive potential.

Scholars speculate that Amitite can be turned into a deadly virus, powerful enough to wipe out complete data networks. However, this is just speculation.

Eranyne Empire

Originally a collection of small countries, it grew in power, overtaking the Valeniti superpower. It expanded its borders to portions of Ukrone and Meric territory.

Ukronia

The only surviving superpower. Due to a prior civil war, it's name changed slightly. They're currently weak and trying to rebuild.

Gangel Federation

A federation of suppressed states who overtook the Meric superpower. Their goal is to reclaim their lost territory to the west.

Southeast Territories

Territories that split from the Gangel federation after unfair treaties undermined certain countries.

For ranking, it depends on the organization your character's in. For example, if they're a High Tides member, they'll just be called a Pilot, as there's no ranks due to the small amount of members in the High Tides. I guess the only distinctions would be Pilot, Captain (As in leader of the High Tides), Navigator, etc. I guess if your character is new to the High Tides they will be considered a recruit. For the Eranyne Empire, rankings will be military, simply due to necessity of organization and order. I'll provide a list at the bottom of my post.

I'm trying to think of a name for Oracle Pilots, but for now I'll just call them Pilots. I'll let you know if I think of any name.

The government system before the invention of Amitite was originally an Absolute Monarchy with one central figure, the Emperor. The Emperor upon attaining Amitite decided to utilize its purposes for military reasons, as the Emperor's grand vision was to rule over all. The Emperor thought Amitite was a power given by God to Eranyne. And so, Eranyne became dictated by military conscription. Therefore, the Emperor granted titles and leadership positions to those who excelled in military pursuits. The Emperor's Royal family would split between those who would associate themselves as Military, or those who would associate themselves as Royal. If I could form a phrase that best suits the Eranyne Empire, it would have to be an Absolute Militant Monarchy, where the strong and competent hold the most power. Figureheads still hold power, but they're typically put in place for public appeal, or they're used as tools for diplomacy. If a Royal is also a military general, they're considered worthy to take the Emperor's place, as long as their competency holds up. Only the Emperor may choose the next heir to the throne. If there's a better term for this, let me know.

Ora is similar to our modern world, but I can't simply explain the whole world, so I'll stick with some basics. Animals are similar to our world's animals, except for a few. Ever since the creation of Amitite, scientists have experimented with animals and humans in order to see if Amitite can evolve human life. Therefore, there may be some odd lifeforms, but you won't know until you experience them.

The Terrain is similar to Earth. It's not 100% similar to earth, but it has water, land, different climates, etc. I'll post up descriptions and images depending on the area your character's in, but you're free to have creative freedom in choosing the areas that your character has explored in their past. The world is only explored on the surface, as the ocean holds many secrets as well as the underground.

Here are some Nations. This isn't a complete set, but it's the ones that we'll be interacting with a bit. Eranyne Empire (Similar to America/Europe), Southeast Territories (Similar to Austria. It's a collection of countries who've united to prevent Eranyne expansion). The Gangel Federation (Similar to the Mongol Empire. It's a collection of Chiefdoms of singular, weak countries. They have a high population density, which constitutes for their strength). Bavyne (originally known as Divi, it's a conquered territory that once housed the Divi Church). Olatine (A conquered territory that contains Jumlie and the Barton Academy).

And now onto Military Ranking. There's several divisions such as Intelligence, Piloting, Espionage, and what not. I won't get into detail, since there can be many divisions. For rankings in general, the Eranyne Empire utilizes these terms. I will be using military terms, since they're easy to understand rather than creating new names. I'll think of more, but just use the below for now.

Cainan City

Cainan City is located in the Olatine province of the Eranyne Empire. The city's quite a ways from Jumlie, and it's smaller in size.

Events: Cainan City's only major event is an orchestral performance by a famous conductor, meaning security is focused around this event.

Politics: Cainan City is a birthday present to a young royal girl, who controls the city alongside her council. She has a fond love of music.

Economics: Cainan City makes its wealth from tourists, as well as distributing pharmaceutical drugs.

Shady Dealings: An illegal drug is being distributed in the city by shady dealers. The EMF hasn't put a stop to it, and many are speculating that the city makes it 'supposed' wealth selling illegal drugs to second class citizens.

Drug: This particular drug allows one's body to temporarily feel a high, or rush. They'll also experience a flood of pleasant memories. Users will start sweating, increase their heart beat, and have large pupils. The downside to the drug is that it limits one's motor functions severely. As a result, abusers of the drug act erratically. This drug is not a huge problem for the Eranyne Empire, since it's mainly affecting poorer regions, where second class citizens live. However, abuse can still be found in the inner, richer regions, albeit not in large amounts. The drug is known as Caipow, short for Cainan Powder.

Eranyne Military Force: It's a half split for support, or disagreement with the lax security. The EMF mainly protects the inner part of the city, leaving only a few EMF soldiers to protect the poorer regions.

Terrorists: Terrorists don't usually base their operations in Cainan, since the city's controlled by drug dealers, who've made deals with terrorists to not mess with the city. It mainly acts as a place of support/station for terrorists at the price of a fee. Any action on Cainan City will be considered an action against the drug dealers.

Oppression: The Eranyne Empire's first class citizens look down upon second class citizens, believing them to be potential terrorists.

Data: A large tower in the inner part of the city hosts the data system for the city.

Drug Sequencing: The creation of legal/illegal drugs involves the combination of molecules. However, that's not the case for the new legal/illegal drugs being developed in Cainan City. A specific data sequence encoded in drugs allows the abuser to experience RAM, or random access memory from their past. Only top scientists/business people know about this information.
