Character Biography:
Her Mother never got into any sort of relationship, nor did she want to. So, being a PhD Biologist and Geneticist, she used her own egg, and some DNA from her best friends (to ensure she wasn't making a clone of herself), she artificially fertilised, and 9 months later gave birth to, Athena.
Born in Neo-Tokyo, they soon moved to Scotland, where Celia herself was brought up, and apart for lengthy travels around the world, and a few years spent in Iceland and Tokyo, that is where Athena grew up. Throughout her life, Adrihel was her best friend, and she had known him since the age of 3, and they began a long term relationship when Athena was only 14, and they became engaged just before Athena moved to study in the Ion programme.
Even when she was younger, Athena would create things, fix things, and showed a natural affinity for inventing. Naturally, she was destined to become an engineer, but she surprised everyone, even herself, when she found herself leaning towards the sciences, and biotech. She was brilliant at this too, so it was easy to make the switch, and she manages to mix in her skill for robotics and engineering in general into her new course, and this gives her a new perspective on things, that others in the field may not see.
Adrihel and Athena were always somewhat rebellious, and they enjoyed the more alternative scene that the underground of Scotland offered, and Athena's appearance mirrors this, as she got her ears pointed, and her markings at the age of 16, after taking a break from education (before going onto the Ion programme) to design a unique combat suit, specifically tailored to herself, that she managed to create using her mothers connections. She got her ocular electronic implants soon after, and they complimented the new suit she had made, and her general fast paced lifestyle.

-Good Traits
- Friendly- People are generally pleasantly surprised when they're greeted with a bubbly "Hi! I'm Athena, lovely to meet you!".
- Loyal- If someone gains her trust, she will stick with them until they give her a reason not to. Regardless of what happens, she will stay by them until they break that trust.
- Humble- She will never boast, nor will she draw attention to her skills.
- Polite- Whether it's because she's British, or just the way she was brought up, but she will always talk to people with respect. Unless they've done something to piss her off, then that respect may be a little forced...
-Bad Traits
- Impatient- Usually kept hidden away, she gets easily annoyed by slowness, or misunderstandings.
- Pessimist- She tends to expect the worst case scenario, but in her mind, this just means she's prepared. And either right, or pleasantly surprised.
- Non-conformist/ Rebellious- She is unique, and refuses to lose sight of exactly who she is. If she doesn't agree with something, she won't do it, plain and simple. (She's had to bend this a little for her new course) And she likes to test the limits on rules, bend them, or even downright break them in some cases.

- Intelligent- She is almost unnaturally intelligent, and her brilliant mind soaks up information, and keeps it there.
- Inventive- She can make all manner of things out of what she has to hand, even if it's junk.
- Observant- Not much can get past her, and she notices even the littlest of things, her deductive skills also meaning that she very often knows, or has suspicions, of what's going on.
- Martial arts- Adrihel taught her, and even though she is no master, she can hold her own for a short while at least.

- She has a few body modifications, such as her elongated and pointed ears, and markings on her forehead being the most visible. The only ones her mother approved was the implants in her eyes. Which effectively means she has a phone screen or electronic device in her eye.
- She was almost an engineer controller.
- She can speak English, Japanese and Icelandic fluently, and French enough to get by.
