Tempest

This.. was also not quite what he had expected the day to be like.

He had definitely expected a training exercise of some sort; had been told by his parent to prepare for one, even. It wasn’t as if these type of schools were just going to allow every kid with any old power to come through and become powerful, after all. This big exam was all anyone was talking about, but what could a piece of paper really tell these people about their powers? Anyone could write, ‘I can use my powers well,’ but it was another thing to actually prove it. Never once taking his eyes off of the man ahead of him, Zephyr watched the scene unfold, his blue orbs lit with a mixture of childlike awe and excitement. He’d expected someone to show them their powers and then ask for everyone else to show off theirs. What he hadn’t expected was a real, live fight to break out! He wasn’t a big fighter, never had been, but he wasn’t one to often turn down the opportunity to show off his beloved powers. However, it seemed like he wasn’t the only one who had something to prove.

It was actually interesting to see some of the students try to rush the person at the front as if they couldn’t tell how clearly powerful he was. Did they expect the school to pick some weak person to come up and demonstrate their powers or something? Shaking his head to himself, Zephyr gave a quiet scoff under his breath. These students probably weren’t that impressive in the first place, if they had to run at the person. True power was being able to win without ever having to lift a finger, yet here they were trying to throw punches and chairs. It was at this point that he realized that the steps he had previously taken backwards weren’t quite far enough and, when the confrontation got a little too close to him for his liking, he once again felt the wind kick up beneath his feet, sending him approximately fifty feet away from where he had originally began. He was still very close, he knew that much, but at least this way it was unlikely that he’d end up getting hurt from a blow that wasn’t even meant for him in the first place.

He heard the sound of something hitting the ground beside him, but was too enthralled in watching another one of the students take a swing at the man.. and sorely regret the decision almost immediately. With a small smirk quirking his lips upward, Zephyr turned his head to the side to peer down at what he had believed to be a student taking cover on the ground, hoping that there’d be someone there that he could share the small joke with. However, instead of meeting the gaze of a laughing person, he found himself staring down at a motionless body. Now was not the time to sleep. Holding his fingers out a few inches from his body in the direction of the person, he watched as the wind gave a quick burst across their face- rustling their hair but causing no reaction. “Uh,” he voiced, taking a look around. It was only then that he noticed all of the other people lying around him; all motionless, some with their eyes closed, some gazing absently into nothingness, and others frantically looking around. “Oh..” He was struck with a sudden sense of uneasiness. This was a lot more serious than he had thought.. people were actually killing each other to have a spot at this school! “I do not want to be here that bad,” he told the air. Taking a quick look back at the scene he had been watching before, he decided that he may as well just leave before someone took the opportunity to try and stab him or something. He’d already been accepted, but he was sure they’d just take the offer back if he left. So with that thought in mind, he turned on his heels and let the wind pool beneath his feet; sending him off in a launch and propelling him forward as he ran- far away from that wild mess and towards what he hoped was a building that would let him in.

Entropy

Adele growled in frustration as the mage put a barrier up. All of a sudden, another mage, one of the potential students shot a fireball at him, which had no effect thanks to the all powerful arcane shield. He then lifted his staff and attempted to shoot a bolt of magical energy that disintegrated so many before her. Adele gasped and attempted to fly out of the way, using light energy to speed up her flying. Her light shield was also still up, so even if she was hit, she was hoping that would at least protect her from some of the damage.

If she successfully defended herself, she was definitely going to try a new strategy and be more on the defensive. She also noticed that more and more kids were joining the fight, so maybe she'd put more of her energy into healing and protecting those fighters over being more offensively inclined since fighting on the front lines wasn't really her strong suit.

Tempest

Steve quickly drew back. He felt himself knocked off-balance. I have to do something so this bastard doesn't kill me and everyone else. Steve knew just what he would do. I'll drop to the ground in an intentional fall. He would only have one shot at this. He flipped and fell onto his front. It was a short fall, but that didn't mean for a second that it wouldn't hurt.

"Sonuvabitch." Steve groaned. He moved to push himself up despite the ache that covered his entire body. He groaned again. It was probably best to just leave; there clearly wasn't a way to beat Tempest with just a fist. He wobbled slightly before managing to stand solidly. He began to maneuver his way through the path of dead bodies and rubble. The sight filled Steve with rage and horror. I don't trust this. He turned around.

"You demonic pile of crap! I'm gonna get you for this!" Steve belted out while walking away backwards. He completely intended to make good on his promise, too. Eventually. Steve wasn't one to make idle threats. But for now, he walked away, still backwards, knowing it was probably the best thing to do right now.

Dealing with Tempest (2)
After waiting for a while for the ritual portal to open, it did eventually open for her by saying the spell. 'Good, now I can put the injured into the nurse office.’ thought Serena.
She was just putting the injured through the portal, since they require to get out of here.
'I hope Tempest doesn't go after me next, because I authentically can't bulwark myself very well.’ thought Serena, because she doesn't ken if her pepper spray plan would work on him.
Serena was then looking around for more injured people, for she did manage to get the people in her pile to go through the portal. 'Please don't go after me, please don't go after me, please don't after me.’ thought Serena, because she is too scare to deal with Tempest. Serena kens that she can't bulwark herself congruously when she is endeavoring to absquatulate from Tempest, but she has no cull but to do that.

Entropy

Zango starred in absolute horror as the villain known as Entropy began to innocently murder innocent women and children in front of his very eyes. Zango often thought of taking on villains even in his early stage of youth, but reality struck him like lightning after witnessing this. This was the real world, and the real world doesn't take prisoners. Zango was almost in a state of paralysis just from being afraid to move in the sights of the dangerous villain. 'Come on Zango snap out of it. This is what you've been training for' he thought to himself shaking the thoughts of his own selfish thoughts out of his head about running away to safety. 'Now focus and take advantage of the situation your in.' Zango began to quickly look around noticing that some of the students had already engaged the criminal in combat, but saw an opportunity to throw him off his balance.

Zango began to channel his energy throughout his body which gave off a faint blue glow that engulfed his body as he kept a close eye on the villain waiting for the right moment to strike. He watched his spells and techniques to closely analyze how he fought and began to make his move once the other students distracted him. Using his massive strength he lifted one of the bigger tables and tossed it high in the air where it would land right on top of the villain should he not pay attention. At the same time the moment the table left his hands he used his speed to quickly charge at the villain channeling a huge amount of energy to his right hand in hopes of landing a heavy attack. Zango hoped his idea would work and prayed table would smack into Entropy or at least distract him enough to allow Zango to land a clean hit. Zango's hand was shaking with energy and with adrenaline with massive determination in his eyes. One way or another he would defeat this villain whether it killed him or not.

Chiara & Ariella
Teslie Coila

Chiara and Ariella had sat quietly towards the back of the assembly as it drolled on and on. So much so that Ariella eventually curled up in her chair for a nap. Though it wasn't long before the calm peaceful orientation was turned to a battle field as a horrid pink robot dropped onto the Assembly and sent the students running in fear. Jolting Ariella awake as the horde of terrified kids knocked her out of her chair as well as Chiara out of her wheel chair. Quickly looking up as people rushed b=past her Chiara groaned quietly. "Cazzo" She swore in Italian as she looked around desperately for her wheel chair. Seeing it a few feet away she growled and dragged her way over there and got it up right before clumsily climbing into it as others attacked the villain who had brought the hideous robot. Accomplishing her first task Chiara then looked for her little sister, mentally calling out to her with her telepathy before she saw her sister. The poor girl curled up in a ball as people ran past her. Desperately wheeling her self over to Ariella she pulled her up to her feet. "Come on Ariella we need to get to a secure place!!" Chiara yelled to her over the screaming of other kids which simply got a nod from Ariella.

Swiftly Chiara maneuvered her wheel chair through the debris field with Ariella quick on her heels. Soon the two found them selves to the left and behind the robot by a building that another boy just so happened to be at lea-surly watching the carnage. Taking a second to catch her bearings Chiara then turned around to the frantic child behind her and got Ariella's attention. "Ariella sweetie look at me. I need you to go destroy that thing." Chiara said as Ariella shook her head a little frantically before Chiara gently brought her hands to Ariellas cheeks to calm her down. "Hey hey look at me. Im gonna be right here the hole time ok." Chiara said gently pointing to Ariella's mind. After a second the child nodded and gently pushed her sisters hands away. Taking a few steps back from her sister she closed her eyes before wincing badly. Then she started to change, her body growing in size, her legs morphing into the tails they are, her clothes shredding away as Ariella revealed her true self. A loud quick hissing sound came from the beast once she was transformed. Then she looked down to her sister, low growling coming with each breath as Chiara stared back up at the beast before nodding to it.

With that Ariella shot off with great speed while Chiara turned in the direction of the robot. "Maybe if I focus enough I can stop it for long enough for others to bring it down." She said quietly before holding out her hands towards the robot. Taking in a deep breath she slowly closed her eyes. After a second she opened them and reached out to the robot with her powers which seemed to work as any movement of the robot would start to slow a little if not completely freeze in place which was unlikely but still a possibility. Meanwhile Ariella quickly slithered around behind the robot, Moving low to the ground as she got to its right foot. Then quietly Ariella started to climb her way up its leg. Hissing softly as she got to the knee joint she held on with her massive dagger like hands as she reached the back of the robots knee. she then proceeded to tear into the exposed back of the joint with her scythe arms, ripping out wires and severing tubes at the back of the knee till it seemed she possibly made the leg malfunction if not become inoperable all together. Looking up the robot she let out a loud fear inducing screech before she shot upward, Her body flashing white as she seemed to quickly warp upward on the robots body leaving a wisp like trail of energy behind her. Doing it once more she ended up on the robots mid back and looked to the back of the neck before continuing her climb upward. Now using her scythe arm's to aid in her climb she left puncture holes in the robots back as she drove her arms in and out of the metal to help pull her self up, not really intending for the holes to cause damage she just made them to help her climb the contraption, them most likely being just cosmetic damage.

Mean while Chiara was still off to the side doing her best with her telekinetic powers to keep the robot slowed in its movements groaning softy as she focused on the robot, sweat starting to form on her forehead as she started to feel a little drained. That's when she noticed the boy had moved, going to the stage he made something from the wood that ended up Jamming the woman's microphone though it did help just not enough. Grunting quietly as he seemed to start coming back she called out to him in the form of strained words accompanied with grunts and groans as she still worked to slow the robot. "Th-think you c-could help a little more! shutting her up does A-aid but c-cant you do more than that?!" She yelled out to him as she glanced more his way to see his reaction as blood started to drip from her nose indicating a sign of strain on her that wasn't good. Most likely the size of the robot being the strain but still she kept on with trying to stop the thing in its tracks.

Entropy

Himari tried to be as inconspicuous as possible among the blades of grass. The circumspect girl watched the other prospective students hurl balls of fire and rods of lightning at the villain in an attempt to incapacitate him. These attacks were only met with effortless magical parrying by Entropy. As easy it is for him to put up magical barriers to nullify attacks, Entropy is also more than willing to attack with pulverizing blasts. The bolt shot from his staff in a straight line as one of the students used her wings to maneuver out of trouble.

Himari decided to stay as hidden as possible. She would, if God allows it, just observe until the villain just left. Then she realized that this is a silly thought when the fact is that Entropy is bent on massacre. Her conscience would not let it pass, watching as many people's lives were lost before her. I have to do something, she thought, anything to stop him. Just when she started to hatch a plan, another beam of energy was launched. Passing only meters from her, the bolt blew away the surrounding green it hit. The blades of grass beside her and even where she was hidden started to wilt. This halted her train of though and Himari haphazardly attempted to move to another patch of grass.

Feeling safer in her new hiding spot, Himari quickly went over her options. And most of the plans that seem to pop up involve the use of her nature magic. But she knows that the kind of magic she can practice are limited to the acceleration of the growth of plants. Not only that, but the effect varies depending on the plant as Himari observed in the past. Suddenly, the offensive option just vanished to her. She could not think of a way to even help graze Entropy. Unless, that is, she tried something new with her magic. Another beam passed, seemingly deflected from one of the other students who put up a barrier. Himari quickly ducked and laid on her stomach, not at all paying attention to how dirty her clothes would be. Just as her chest made contact with the ground, she felt something hard pierce her sides.

There was something put on Himari's vest. She inspected the hard mound to find three small packs of brown paper bags. Each was labeled with a name of a flowering plant in her native language. One of the bags contained her favorite plant, sunflowers. She immediately felt happy and self-assured, feeling thankful to whoever slipped the packet of seeds in her vest. The next were a darker packet labeled 'poppy' in regular letters, and another one labeled with a blue lozenge symbol. The inconsistent manner of labeling annoyed her a bit but she just let it pass for now. She took the bag containing sunflowers and placed the others back. Estimating there to be more than enough seeds, a plan finally popped up in her head.

Himari raised her head briefly to scout. The villain is quite preoccupied with the attacking students, Himari was quite surprised when one of them threw a table at Entropy. Seeing this as a chance to execute her plan, Himari went and spread the seeds around the courtyard. She did this as surreptitiously as possible, trying not to draw much attention toward herself. Once this is completed, she plans to activate the rapid growth of the flowers. Using them as vegetative shields that sprout almost instantaneously from the ground to intercept the terrible beams of disintegration.

ENTROPY

Did it hit? He wondered. It was an enormous AoE for that kind of spell, but it wasn’t long before he got his answer. Just like another attack that was before his own, there was a shimmer of what could only be a spellshield before countering the attacks that were coming at the villain with with his own. The aura of what was bound to kill on contact could almost be smelled as it poured from the point of impact from the staff, and Fay almost didn’t have time to act. Again, he slammed his will down through his staff, along with all of his frustration building, the sickness he felt from the aura, and the confusion that still lingered as the bottom end of his staff dug an inch into the ground from the force he plunged down onto it.

“La-Irakos!!” He screamed, and again another pulse of life mana pulsed from the staff in a radial AoE, cloak billowing from the force as the two different energies met and nearly exploded from concussive force. This was getting to be draining. It took a lot, still, to stop the wave from coming forward towards Fay, and considering it was an advanced spell that he basically had just snap-casted, the mana output was sloppy at best.

Still, he got the feeling that that was all that was going to save him.

But then Entropy had teleported out of his view. There was no way that someone who had been recently captured with that much energy could do so much at once and still keep going as if they weren’t fazed, but that only reinforced his confusion until-

Until….

“This isn’t real,” he thought to himself, his voice silent throughout. “This isn’t real in the slightest. What if this was the test all along? Is someone using an illusion, or are we hooked up to something?”

There wasn’t anymore time to think, though. He could feel another surge from Entropy as the man stepped through the portal to appear behind two other students. They seemed to be working independently from what else he had seen so far, so it was far more likely that this was a mass illusion between linked students, but the more pressing matter was that he was firing off an attack, hence the surge. Thankfully, someone got the bright idea to try to wail on him with a chair instead of magick – maybe the physical attacks would work instead if he had so many layers of spell shielding??

It was time to find out. Sucking in a breath, Fay dug his staff from the ground and pushed more of his will into it as he began to chant beneath his breath while imagining what he was going to do. It was a quick chant that was being done in a single breath outward, and while this wasn’t his usual forte, he was fairly confident in it.

He was going to slam a spike of dirt right up Entropy’s taint.

“Errana, Ditrentis, Inalati,” he chanted, over and over, his voice still quiet until finally he rammed his staff into the dirt again.

The fun part about this kind of channeling was that nothing happens until the mage’s focus – in this case his staff, made contact with something. If the target was in line of sight, it was fairly easy to pinpoint where he was going to cast, and considering Entropy seemed more than occupied by the students who weren’t obliging him by sitting still and letting him kill them, it seemed like this was a perfect chance.

With all the Will and mana that he had stored into the staff before cracking it into the soil below, he felt it drain in almost an instant into the flesh of Mother Earth before creating the tip of a spike, growing at a blinding speed between Entropy’s feet. If the spike of stone-hard dirt were to impact, it would run Entropy entirely through from below him and out of the top of his head or his mouth, whichever was presented. There wasn’t much to say if it missed other than likely gaining the full attention of Entropy.

But what did that matter?

They were as good as dead…. Well, as dead as you could get in a simulation. So why not go hard or go home?

Shite.

This was a bad situation.

James felt it when the shards of glass hit Entropy.

He felt Entropy's attention instantly snap to him.

His heart was racing as he ducked behind the barrier of darkness. His question to it's creator was met with silence, as though they had absconded from the world entirely.

He drew his grandfather's sickle from his survival pack, twisting it around in his hand, and he was reaching for another wrench...

When Entropy appeared in front of him.

Well

Shite.

He knew this was a test. He knew it didn't really matter.

But seeing a supervillan appear directly in front of you, with malice radiating off of them like the reek of freshly baked cookies, it'll get your adrenaline going.

He took his own fear, his own anxiety, and his own confusion...

And he read the situation.

This was his true power. In an instant, Jimmy Green understood the situation. He knew there was a healer in the room, he knew that someone had just launched an ENTIRE FREAKIN' TABLE at Entropy, he felt it as the mana was released into the earth, and felt the spike begin to form.

He smiled.

"This is really gonna hurt..." he muttered, propelling himself forward and up, slamming his forehead into the space where Entropy's jaw should be.

Tempest

Hanazeil had been tapping away on his cellphone from the time he arrived at the gathering right on till a previously subdued combat-savvy psycho known as Tempest decided to wreak terror upon a school for his kind by wiping out a majority of its Elemental Manipulator population. Now a smart individual would have gotten the heck out of there and either called for help, waited until Heroes or the authorities arrived while in a safe hiding spot, or at least joined the other children in their efforts in order to save his own skin or theirs if possible. But the white-haired Elemental Manipulator was not by any means a smart individual, and stubbornly decided to stay put and dial a few numbers, and spam a few messages in an attempt to reach out to his aunt or any of his contacts. That's odd, nothing's getting through. Finally realizing that his mobile device didn't have any signal due to the school's isolated location he proceeded to bore his hard-cased touchscreen phone with pure annoyance and an unintentional boost via wind in Tempest's direction. Surely enough, if the cruel villain didn't notice the expensive electronic speeding his way, there was a high chance of skull breakage.

Hanazeil breathed in and out before taking a gander at everything around him. The chairs and their occupants were scattered around him like spices on a well-cooked meal, and sadly he recognized the school's staff among the many dead bodies. He didn't know exactly how to react and ended up turning around and watching a boy a few feet away from him check the status of the unlucky runaways slain by Tempest. Hanazeil felt sorry for him as he departed towards a building through a controlled gust of wind. It was now or never. It was time to decide whether to blast the oncoming car again regardless of the consequences to save someone or watch them die.

Fingerless gloves were fixed, and knuckles were cracked as Hanazeil made a bit more than a shoulder's width of space between his feet and held both arms at his sides to try and concentrate. He was looking to redo the accident that saved the toddler. Though truth-be-told, he had no idea how he did what he did, and ended up keeping that empty-headed stance hoping something happened.

En Valkyrie II --Entropy Vs Everyone--

Attack after attack. Block then countered. En could all but taste the desperation in the air. The cloaked man almost made dust of a girl with wings as she instantly began back pedaling. En figured she got a grasp of not only the situation but of the rather large gap--no... the gradually increasing canyon between all of them and the villain in terms of... well, everything. They stood as much as a chance as the adults did. En closed his eyes and held in a laugh as it truly was funny of how things turned out. The teachers being wiped out so easily by one intruder was more than enough of a sign that they shouldn't be fighting him. I wonder if they'll oppose us when we try to destroy them too. Will they fight just as hard? Will their survival instincts kick in and turn an adrenaline rush into a moment of hope? En had his eyes on the powerful stranger bent on killing them, though when he took a look in En's direction with a face of pure annoyance, it didn't look good for them.

They were two children on his left. One was protected with dark arcane powers, and the other was using said powers to his advantage. Sounds of shattered glass made En rethink sitting where he was as the villain suddenly slammed his arcane medium of a stick into the ground emitting a shock-wave of certain death in their direction before disappearing. Luckily though, the boy that had released the blue fireball from earlier used another spell to counteract the wave.

He's behind you.

At this point, En stood up and casually walked away from the two boys and their fate. A new seat to watch the battle awaited, and the villain didn't notice him anyway. He made his way to where the podium once stood, dragging a chair behind him. This is good right?

Good enough.

Rakshi was thinking maybe, just maybe, this was a bad idea. Not just fighting, but everything that lead up to this moment. He was deciding to attack again, but Tempest just dodges. And dodges. AND DODGES! Rakshi eventually just retreats and ducks for cover.

Rakshi looked around him. There were a lot of injured people. One person was trying to help get them to... somewhere. Rakshi decided to help her, running over. "Hey you, with the portal." called Rakshi. "You get the injured, I'll defend you, okay?" Blackrose7 Blackrose7 (Selena was the person Rakshi was calling to, just thought I should clarify that.)

Entropy
~Kaleb~
The small boy knew he was lucky to avoid the Supervillain's ire. There was no way he could have handled an attack from Entropy, unlike some of the other students. He wasn't really much of a fighter, to be honest. His entire knowledge base was centered around supporting people; healing them if they needed it. He made it inside the hallway, unsure where to head next. This school was unfamiliar to him. There didn't seem to be anyone inside, however.

He ran about, looking in room after room, but found no one. Was this Entropy's doing? Was he this skilled to remove threats from inside the building too? After the 11th door he stopped, pausing to think for a moment. What could he do here? Maybe he was giving Entropy too much credit. There wouldn't be any reason for tons of staff to be here just on an orientation day. There'd probably only be the staff they needed for the talk and lunch and stuff... right?

He sniffled a little bit, trying his hardest not to cry at the situation. He was only 14 damn it! He didn't want to die so young! He hadn't had these abilities for very long, his goddess's gift... It had only been four years since the accident, and now he'd finally have a chance at helping people. No. Kaleb shook his head clear and sniffled more, rubbing his eyes as he ran off, opening doors and checking in as many rooms as he could. He took a moment to stop and look out of one of the windows on the attack. "Compared to outside, it must be so quiet in here," he muttered to himself, sighing a bit at the sight. There wasn't anything he could do... He was scouring his brain for an answer. They weren't trained to deal with this yet. This was what they were here for.

And it was terrifying, but it only solidified what he wanted to do with his gift. People like Entropy shouldn't be able to just run around like this. They shouldn't be able to cause so much strife and chaos. This is wrong, he thought, knowing his goddess was listening. She didn't answer though. She didn't always answer, but her presence alone was comforting in such a scary situation. I'll watch and listen... I guess. Maybe I'll think of something else to do. Some other way to help. I don't have a cellphone yet... mom was gonna send one to me soon... so I can't call for help that way. Maybe someone else has a phone?

Kaleb looked around at the few scattered and scared students that were running about inside. No one is going to listen to me if I speak up. I don't know how to command a room like some people do... especially not a scared room. Plus I'm only 5'2"... No one would take me seriously, he thought, ideas trailing off into nothingness. There wasn't a point to this, he felt, since nothing would work, and he wasn't a good distraction. Plus... he didn't want to lose his life. He'd never get to really help people if he just needlessly died now!

~Saruki~
There really wasn't any point to all of this.

Saruki didn't want any of this bullcrap. It wasn't worth her time to help these people flail about. Maybe all the staff were really dead? That'd be the best outcome she could think of. Still... it was really starting to bother her that she couldn't even feel the link with her brother anymore. Why wasn't he here? What was going on with all that? It wasn't very cool, whatever it was. She couldn't leave without him, and nor would he leave without her. So... she was trapped here the same as before.

"Damn it," she cursed, letting out a whiny groan. She didn't want to help. Saruki really didn't want to help. If she kept sitting here though, she felt like she might end up doing so regardless. So... time to up and move. No big deal. She stood, her bubble stretching out to accommodate her new position, and followed her movements. It was still connected at the ground, and moved along the grass fluidly.

She walked, keeping her pace calm but with purpose. Her pink hair shook loose a bit from it's hair tie, slipping onto her face. She paid it little mind, aside from an attempt to push it back into place. She peeked back with vibrant blue eyes as she walked further away, making sure the enemy wasn't going to start taking aim at her instead of the fodder.

TEMPEST

It wasn’t apparent until the last second that Tsunami had put himself into a bit of a predicament. He should have known that the roll was going to cost him his ability to re-position, and he knew for a fact that Tempest – at least this fake, was going to capitalize on it. Why did he do something so stupid?! He wasn’t the kind of person that hadn’t been in a fight before – in fact, he had been in plenty in Victoria’s school, and this exact situation was what screwed him up the last time before Tempest had disappeared. So why did he do it?!

But there was an idea… He was going out on a limb with it, but it was about his only choice.

Interrupt: (“...Tempest used Wind once again to charge forward at a blinding speed, throwing a right roundhouse kick towards him with the impact force equaling the weight of a baby elephant. If the hit found it’s mark on the side of Tsunami’s head, the boy would suffer from bone crushing force and likely die in the process. If it was blocked, Tsunami would still be flung away, likely suffering from broken bones in his arm, and if he dodged, Tempest would only start to re-position himself in order to keep the pressure on him.”)

Just as his roll ended, Tsunami had only a split second as he twisted his body, straining in the effort to redirect his momentum while staying low, even nearly flattening himself in a crouch to duck what he could only predict as a kick towards his head as he spun himself counter-clockwise, kicking his right foot out throughout the movement in order to give himself more momentum since the roll would have left him with his back turned towards Tempest. The sweeping kick towards Tempest’s heel wasn’t as quick as the roundhouse, but placing all of his strength in the kick was absolutely imperative. It was just a stall to re-position, and both he and likely Tempest knew it as well. Even if it didn’t connect, it would have meant he was either dead or that Tempest had to shift to avoid the trip.

If the trip kick landed, Tempest would have likely either been thrown off balance or be forced to back up or jump over the kick and possibly Tsunami himself. Still, it was nothing to counter the gust of wind behind the kick, considering the two kicks would have to be happening nigh-simultaneously, throwing Tsunami off balance and forcing his body to tumble over. It would force Tsunami to roll away on his side and try to stand again.

There was no way he could allow this fake to keep him down like this. Tsunami was dead meat if that was the case.

The reality of his mistakes were only now beginning to weigh down on him. If only he hadn’t rushed in like he did before and took a different approach, but what was there? If he survived this, which he wasn’t so sure of anymore, the mistake was going to haunt him.

How could he call himself a fighter if he keeps making such stupid mistakes?

After this, you are free to post openly for a while, no longer just one post per person. I'll let you guys know before I do the next big post. :)

Also, for the Tempest one, Osuka wasn't feeling well, so I did it instead. It may not be as awesome. :P

Apparently his teleportation was not appreciated. One of the students, the little annoyance that they were, brought down a chair on top of his head. It didn't do much, though it did distract Entropy significantly. Chairs, luckily for him, are surprisingly difficult to swing up over someone's head to hit them. Perhaps it would have been better to swing at him from the side instead? Regardless, his dark eyes were full of hate and malice, looking at that child now with a newfound fury. These children, flailing little messes that they were, were beginning to get on his nerves ( Kyrenka Kyrenka ).

The flying menace had gotten away without being severely hurt, though she'd certainly be sore. Her shield saved her from having an unpleasant demise ( SapphireSkylines SapphireSkylines ). It seemed the beams of disintegration were somewhat easy to deflect. At the same time, however, having deflected it, the beam instead went through one of the bell towers, shearing the top off of it. The huge cone fell to the ground, taking out a few students who were trying to hide near the building. How unfortunate.

As though the chair wasn't enough of an insult, out of nowhere an entire table was suddenly coming down onto his head. This was simple enough to avoid, lifting his staff up to turn the table to dust before it could even touch him. At the same time, however, there was a child rushing towards him. How silly of him. Did he really think he could take Entropy out? Of all villains? He scoffed at the child in his mind, and it showed on his face. The man swiped his staff around in a semi-circle, creating a large wave of disintegration energy that would rush towards the approaching student ( Mistah Mistah ). This wave would, however, be thwarted quite successfully by walls of vegetation. Of course, the plant matter got destroyed instead, but this was far better than the alternative... for them, at least ( MirrorBoy MirrorBoy )

As if these distractions weren't enough, there was another child who actually managed to get up close and slam his forehead into Entropy's chin. His jaw wasn't quite as accessible. While that certainly hurt, and was a fantastic distraction, if you've ever accidentally rammed your head into someone's chin, you know that hurts. A lot. The chin tends to win that fight. Still, it did cause his chin to start to bleed. He wasn't invincible ( YffreJephre YffreJephre ). His lack of invincibility was all the more obvious in just a moment, as the spike of dirt shot up from the ground. The chin-butt, unfortunately, had moved Entropy back, pushing him out of the way of the majority of the spike. That boy was probably hit by it, skewered as he would have been... except... no. He was saved by the bell, as it were.

Before the spike could even finish sprouting up from the ground, there was a tremendous WHOOSH of air. Creating a literal shockwave from breaking the sound barrier, this mysterious Superhero smacked into Entropy with a sickening crack and continued on, creating a cloud of dirt as they slammed into the forest that surrounded much of the school.

Then... you wake up.

Everyone was in their own separate hospital-like bed, though far more comfortable. There were rows of students, some clearly still in the simulation, and some out. On the opposite side of the large gymnasium, there was someone yelling, going off on a teacher's aide about something or another. Almost all the students looked significantly disgruntled and uncomfortable. In front of each bed sat a screen on what looked like a re-purposed medical arm where a light might have once existed.

A woman in a pretty blue dress spoke up to your small group of ten students. That seemed like the common idea, ten students to a teacher's aide. The woman's voice was sweet, calming, "Hello! Please don't be alarmed! There is no Supervillain attack. No one is dead. There's nothing to worry about! This was your entrance exam! If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. I'm here to help. My name is Julia. I'm a third year student at this school who specializes in illusory magics. The school gets a whole bunch of third and fourth year volunteers to help with testing the students. This year I decided to do my part."

Trying to anticipate some of the questions, she continued, "Tests are scored by a number of metrics. It's difficult, so the bar to pass is quite low. You only need a score of 40 out of 100 in order to pass. There are only a few students every year that get 90 or higher though, so don't feel bad if you feel like your score is low. If you want to view your scores now, you may. If you have a grievance with your score, or otherwise feel like you may have been graded unfairly, you can email or call the school later. I'm just the messenger, so please don't yell at me like the student across the room is doing to that aide." She motioned to the aide who was finally joined by a staff member who took the student away.

"Right. Anyways, the test score is based on how you reacted to the villain. Those who did nothing or simply ran away without trying to get help would have scored more poorly. Those who tried to offer distraction, who tried to get help, or who did something else that was a more appropriate reaction got a higher score. Some students however... had more concerning results. That'll be covered in your scoring, though," she motioned for them to open up the document that had popped up on their screens, "It's a touch screen. If you need a walk or something first though, that's okay. I understand that this can be a very jarring experience."

85/100. You did a wonderful job attempting to get help, though we did stack the odds against you since there were no staff members inside the building. If there were, however, you would have potentially saved the day by getting help. A great choice and instinct.

70/100. As interesting as your approach with the chair was, and how that indicates that you were thinking on your feet and attempting to keep a clear head, your actions would have surely gotten you killed had this been a real fight with a Supervillain. Your abilities are also a major concern, though you used them well all things considered. You will have to be careful in the future about how much blood you end up losing. All the same, a good job.

65/100. You managed to help in distracting the villain, but also caused significant property damage and some loss of life. This is not something that you're yet trained to look out for, of course, so you still did very well.

90/100. You noticed that this was a simulation, which displays wonderful attention to detail. You also attempted to distract the villain with less than orthodox means, buying numerous students time because of your actions. Because of this, however, combined with the mistake of another student, you would have gotten another student killed if this were real. All the same, a good job.

0/100. You knew this was a simulation, and while normally that would get you more points, your blatant lack of care for others cannot be excused. As a delinquent student, this was an expected result. You are still forced to attend all the same, regardless of your score. This just shows how much you need to be here.

65/100. You did a wonderful job trying to protect fellow students from danger. At the same time, however, it did take you a little while to decide to do that instead of hide. In a real Supervillain attack, seconds count, and that could have made the difference between someone living or dying. All the same, a good job.

85/100. You realized that this was a simulation quite quickly, which is a wonderful show of skill and attention to detail. You did, however, make a serious miscalculation at the end. One's chin will, generally speaking, hurt more to you than it will to them. That is not to say that you didn't distract him, but had this been an actual Supervillain fight, getting so close without protections would be a poor idea. This is doubled with his supposed change in power, affecting organics as well as inorganics. All the same, a good job.

As a delinquent student, you are required to meet with Professor Lu-Dao before school starts to discuss the rules again as well as go over expectations of you.

75/100. You did a wonderful job acting as a very unorthodox distraction. The table flip was something that myself and the other graders laughed uproariously at, and in reality would probably still be a pretty decent distraction. Running at the individual who is seen to be able to destroy inorganic and organic things, however, was not the best idea. Had it not been for the plant shields, you may not have been so fortunate. All the same, a good job.

Really, before anyone could do much of anything, it was over.

He had everyone dead to rights. No one was going to get out of this alright, damn it. The boy who felt like walking backwards away from him was a good way to become safe from a Supervillain was going to learn how wrong he was. How easy it would be to move forward and snap his neck like a twig... How easy to get that satisfying crunching crack of a sound that would make his incessant noises stop... ( Steve Freeling Steve Freeling )

This other insane child was trying to pull elemental manipulation similar to Tempest's ( Phantophobition Phantophobition ). How fun would that have been to stop? To scare the bravery out of the mind-numbingly idiotic thing. Catching the ire of a Supervillain wasn't a good idea. Still, he had had bigger fish to fry. A number of prospective students had gotten away. They could, quite frankly, wait until later. It wasn't like they were going anywhere. They were on a floating school, after all, and unless they could fly, it would be suicide to try to hop off.

Even this furious boy didn't matter in the end ( Osuka Osuka ). He would have died too. His attempts rendered futile. Lucky for them... lucky for all of them... he was caught. An unidentifiable Superhero blazed by in a streak of white. A pro. They absolutely slammed into the boy-villain, flinging him far off into the forest where the Superhero swiftly followed.

Teslie was absolutely furious, but she could hardly voice it anymore. She didn't seem to be able to tell who had done the deed, as it were, however. Whomever screwed with her microphone would have to wait, as her rocket was also somewhat foiled! This insane student kicked the damned thing while it flew forward! The rocket ended up careening into the building, blowing up most of the face of it and taking a number of students with it ( OnyxReaper OnyxReaper ). At least there was some bit of destruction to behold... beautiful, lovely destruction.

There was another student who was a wee bit creepy, crawling up her robot's leg as another slowed her down considerably ( Daniel Reaving Daniel Reaving ). The robot's outer layers became electric, shocking anything and everything that touched it! This included the strange monster child that seemed intent on destroying her wonderful creation. Her poor robot couldn't move very fast right now though, which was oh so unfortunate! She'd have to fix that.

Teslie made the robot point a hand with outstretched finger towards the girl making her move so slowly. The tip of its pointer finger flipped up, revealing an open area storing a gun of some kind. She didn't want to mess around anymore. This was going to cause some serious damage. Except... it wasn't. Not anymore. The robot got taken out suddenly, the entire thing swept off its feet and was sent careening up into the atmosphere, followed by a Superhero that was moving too fast to recognize.

Then... you wake up.

A dark skinned woman in a tan sweater-dress spoke up to your small group of ten students. That seemed like the common idea, ten students to a teacher's aide. You are all in the same gymnasium, though you are, of course, in different groups. Mingling is possible here. You're not completely separate like you were in the introduction. Just remember that you want your posts to make sense. Two people meeting while they're taking a walk to clear their heads? That makes sense. Suddenly talking from across the huge gym to each other? Not so much.

The chair connected nicely, but it didn't seem to do much. Entropy's eyes locked onto Taylor and he felt his stomach immediately drop. Fortunately, the villain was once again distracted by other students. The blonde jumped back in order to rethink his plan of action. I need-

Taylor jolted upright. When did I lay down? Heart racing, he whipped his head around to frantically take in his surroundings. What the hell? Before he could even attempt to gather his thoughts, a woman in a blue dress addressed the group. It was a test? Oh, he so did not like being mind fucked like that. Drawing his legs up, he ducked his head in between them so that he could steady his breathing. He had too much experience with having his abilities analyzed and tested. Although he knew that this wasn't what the school was doing, he still couldn't help the flash of nauseating panic his memories brought on. Distantly, he wondered if throwing up would ruin everyone's first impression of him.

After a few minutes of focusing on his breathing and calming his racing heart, Taylor was able to regain his composure. The blonde brought his head up to stare at his screen. If I failed I swear... With a lightly trembling finger, Taylor opened up the document. 70. Not bad, especially considering the fact that this was his first grade in any school. He glanced at the comments and clicked his tongue. Apparently there was a bit of concern about his ability. Fair enough. Although a tiny wound like that wasn't even remotely concerning, he would have to watch how much blood he losses in the future. Not to mention the fact that he could barely even utilize his powers during the exam. Grimly, Taylor brought his hand up to the side of his head and played with the small earring. He'd have to start carrying a knife again; either that or sharper jewelry. The blonde let his eyes drift to his peers. He recognized most of them from battle, but a few of them he didn't recognize. Guess they didn't participate. Not that he could blame them. Superpowered murders tend to give people cold feet. Laying back down, Taylor brought his hands to his face and quietly groaned. This was going to be much harder than he anticipated.

Guyle wasn't listening to the woman as he awoke from the simulation in a start, head snapping up and eyes darting around the room, taking in where he was. It was an infirmary judging by all the clean-looking beds... no... the ceiling was too high and the equipment around the room didn't look like it belonged.

Perhaps it was a hall? Judging by the semi-glossy floor and wonderfully high-ceiling.

Didn't matter. The tanned woman kept talking as his eyes kept glancing around. Guyle's ears picked up on a few words like 'exam' but it didn't matter. Even if he hadn't really killed anyone, he'd caused it in a simulation. He wasn't aware of the situation, and hadnt known they were in a simulation, and yet he still caused their 'death'

The boy looked upwards, a wavering smile painted on his face as he spat out "What sorta fuckin hero kills the innocent" it wasn't a shout or a yell, but in the spacious hall it was audible and carried a slight echo.

And then, he planted his face into the bed, a muffled, stifled sob burst from him for a moment. Then silence.

Zango watched as the blast of energy quickly came his way as he continued to charge without hesitation. Alright if I time this perfectly I can launch myself over his blast and knock that bastard out, but one slip might cost me more then I bargained for Zango thought to himself as he prepared to launch himself only to half some sort of strange vegetation quickly appear in front of him causing him to come to a complete halt as the wave of energy quickly destroyed the vast vegetation that probably just had saved his life. In almost an instant Zango awoke with his heart feeling like it was ready to burst out of his chest as he quickly sat up to realize he had been laying down the entire time. Was that all a dream? He asked himself as he began to look around to see a number of students that had been laying down as well. He along with the other students were eventually addressed by a mysterious girl who had explained that they were all put under some kind of illusion which in reality both relaxed Zango that no one had died, but infuriated him as playing with his mind like that made him want to punch everyone involved through a brick wall. However, he managed to calm himself realizing that probably wouldn't be the first impression he wanted especially since he had a family name to withhold.

After reviewing his test score he wasn't upset, but he wasn't the happiest. He knew he could have done so much better, but he relied on his usual fighting techniques rather then adapting like he should have. Had he practiced more on channeling his energy into blast like he used to he could have countered entropy's attacks and gotten close to land a heavy blow without relying on distractions. He could have scored tremendously higher if only he wasn't so stubborn about practicing in one specific area of offense. In reality, even though he was infuriated this was a tremendous experienced. It showed Zango that he was going to need to train as hard as ever and learn to properly adapt to situations given to him if he was going to be the top student in the class. Clenching his fist his angered expression turned to that of excitement. He had witnessed many powerful students that participated in the exam with him and felt his blood boil with anticipation as a smirk overtook his face. "Looks like I have my work cut out for me" he said under his breath delivering a small chuckle along with his words. "I should really thank whoever summoned those plants that shielded me from the blast. If not I could have scored a lot lower if I had not successfully avoided that attack. But who exactly could it have been? There were so many students that finding who had exactly helped me would prove quite difficult" he said delivering a small sigh under his breath. "Well.........looks like I should start looking" he said a bit agitated at his own decision.

This was horrible.....

He HADN'T EATEN YET! What even was real anymore?! Was his whole life just a giant lie?!

He remembered his forehead connecting with Entropy's chin. It was a move he was quite used to, having implemented the SUDDEN FACESMASH numerous times while traveling around the wasteland of his hometown, when muggings and thievery had been most widespread after the Incident. Propelling someone's lower teeth into their upper teeth tended to make them not quite so keen on fighting you, and, luckily, because of his height it was one of the few moves he knew would work on bigger fishes he needed to fry.

Then he remembered the earth-spike. He had severely misread how large it was going to be, and he remembered it shooting past his eye, catching the skin and bone of his brow....

And nothing.....

He shivered. His life could easily have been taken had that been a real situation, and it wouldn't have even been from Entropy's hand.

He was hungry, though. He knew that more keenly than he knew anything else. Quickly, he checked his score and was pleasantly surprised at the results, but scoffed slightly at the concerns the staff had.

He would have to find this Lu Dao, the Prof. that was meeting with the troubled students.

Lu-Dao would have to wait until after the cafeteria, however.

He heard several students giving themselves a hard time, and could feel the sickening reaction one was having at having caused loss-of-life during the simulation.

He stood, brushing past the girl-in-blue, and turned to face the group of magic users.

"Anyone who's hungry, I know the way to the cafeteria!" he stated, sympathy and sadness coloring his voice, giving the message layered behind the words voice, That was pretty fucked up, if anyone needs some normalcy after that, follow meeeeeee!

((For referance, James' vocal powers are going to be Green-print. The lighter the color, the lighter the compulsion, but he is compelling any students who need to walk it off to follow him))

Ariella & Chiara
Location: Gym

The battle raged on as Chiara continued to battle the robots movements while Ariella climbed the robot. Screeching loudly as the robot became electrified though it only stopped Ariella's movements for a little bit before she then continued her charge up the robot. Chiara had been keeping the robot still until it held out a hand, its finger opening and a gun pointing at her, her eyes widened in fear as she saw Ariella get up the robots shoulder and lunged at the girl, Her arms held out wide as her gaping mouth opened to bite the villain in half. Then everything seemed to slow to an almost complete stop. Chiara staring at the barrel of the gun and Ariella's jaws starting to close down onto the woman, then darkness. Suddenly Chiara woke with a start, shooting up in her bed her breath heavy as she looked around trying to calm herself. Bringing a hand to her forehead as her breathing started to calm as she studied the surrounding area before she remembered Ariella and frantically looked around.

"Quello che è successo? Dov'è Ariella?!" She said in Italian as she looked around for her sister. Already knowing that coming out of the simulation would not go over well with the child Chiara had to act fast. Looking to the left side of her bed she saw her wheel chair and immediately reached over.
wheelchair-by-ivo-tanchev.jpeg
Pulling it close she made she it was locked in place before she grunted a little as she lifted her body from the bed to the seat of her wheel chair. Then she gently lifted her legs off the bed and where they should be on her wheelchair before she brought her right hand to the pad like object at the end of her arm rests, gently pressing her middle finger against the forward part of the pad while her hand rested on the rest of it her wheelchair moved forward on its own. Propelling Chiara away from her bed and into the walk way at the foot of her bed and out. Looking around worriedly she soon saw Ariella at the end of her row still sleeping. Hurriedly Chiara went over to Ariella. Rolling up to the child's bed side just in time as Ariella's shot open and she shot up letting out a quick loud yell, looking around frantically and freaking out as Chiara grabbed her and pulled her into a deep hug to keep her calm and keep her from changing. It was clear the sudden change frightened her enough that if Chiara wasn't there she would have gone into a rampage. Letting out a releaving sigh as Ariella seemed to start calming down little by little in Chiara's arms. Once Ariella was calm Chiara took a second to look around, Hearing some complain about thee scores and one man nearby even feeling bad about the loss of life he had caused. 'He was in mine and Ariella's simulation.' She thought to herself softly as she watched the saddened boy not to far off from where the girls were. Looking over when a boy called out about going to the cafeteria. Chiara was tempted to follow out of thought that Ariella would probably like some food but she hesitated a little as Ariella curled up in Chiara's lap as she studded the surrounding area silently from the safety of her sisters arms.

Looking around at some students who had looked over when Ariella had screamed she sent them an apologetic smile before looking to Ariella. "
Doing alright sweetheart?" She asked Ariella who simply nodded before nuzzling into Chiara. Nodding Chiara decided to follow the boy to the cafeteria. Quickly catching up to the boy she spoke softly when she got to him the small humming of her wheelchairs engines stopping when she stopped. "Mind if we join you?" Chiara asked him softly while Ariella looked to the boy, Staring him down with her vicious piercing eyes before looking out to a nearby window.

As she continues to do that, Serena then saw a superhero catch Tempest, and then fling him into the forest.
What happened next scared the living
crap out of her. “Wait what?” said Serena, as she was pretty confused by this.

She started to look around, for she thought that there was a villain here. But then calmed down when Hesperia told them that there is no supervillain attack, and nobody is dead.
“Thank god that nobody is dead, and that was horrible.” said Serena, as she took out the pepper spray that she was going to use against Tempest. “If I have known that this was the exam, I would have given this to somebody who was fighting against Tempest.”
Serena then got off the bed, and looked at the kid who was saying that he knows where the cafeteria is. “I am hungry here.” said Serena, who walked towards James, for she was very hungry from using that ritual portal spell.
