The man was nearly shot to death by her mother as she tried to save little Astra. The baby was on life support for months as the doctors tried to fix her. Astra's life was saved, but not her vocal chords. Astra never learned to speak due to rough intense pain.
When she was five, her mother was killed by the fire. Astra was thrown onto the streets by abusive foster parents, and there, she was abused physically and sexually... Her life is not too great, but she's good with matches!
