Ashley is a rather soft spoken and shy girl. She enjoys being around others, though much of the time she is hesitant to voice her own opinion. She is notably very kind to others, often standing up to help someone out with something, often leading to some embarrassment after it might lead to them prying more about her or conversation with her. Even around close friends, Ashley often elects to be brief when she talks, feeling as if she is butting in at times often leaving her flustered or embarrassed about it. She often prefers to listen to what others say and hear about them over divulging much about her own self.
She is very much a straight A student, doing her best in classes with her study while being naturally intelligent. She is rather quick to pick up on activities involving the mind, although she has struggled a bit more when it comes to the physical side of things. She is very selfless. Her desire to become a hero spurned on by a sense of redemption for herself not seeking it for any sort of recognition at all for her deeds which often ends up only embarrassing her. She can be rather nerdy in her free time outside her schoolwork or hero acts. She often spends time reading both books and the occasional Manga. A guilty pleasure of hers is often romance novels, something that often leaves her flustered with most of her attempts at 'boys' ends up with her tripping over or spilling something.
She can be easily scared at times, although it is something she normally can get over even if she is left nervous by it. She is very protective of a special locket around her neck, a device designed to help her regulate her wild energy levels. Should she lose it or it breaks, she can quickly shift into a panic attack, resorting to her cowering away in fear and devastation to the point of not being able to move at all. She tends to keep her own thoughts and feelings to herself, bottling up her emotions often letting it out when she is alone not wanting to worry others about her problems. She can be a little bit of a klutz at times, often invoked in moments of embarrassment leading her to trip or to drop things much to her dismay.
Background
Ashley was born the daughter of a businessman and a teacher. Her father had traveled to the area which her mother was, leading to what had started as a simple fling that evolved into a budding romance like out of some stereotypical romance novel. Being born, she resembled much more of her mother although certain traits of her father appeared in her. She grew up very much being the quiet type. Her mother was generally strict on her when it came to schooling. It had caused her to focus heavily upon her school work even at a young age, something Ashley grew use to and to some extent enjoyed even if it felt overbearing at times. She was often more reclusive then most even at a young age often allowing others to approach her and mostly keeping quiet while listening to others. She was generally left alone as a child rather then picked on, in part due to her mother's presence often scaring most away from doing so, though it did unfortunately keep away some from even talking with her.
Ashley's powers manifested in her at a very young age. A cold had lead to her sneezing one day letting out bursts of energy that unintentionally were manipulated into dust like particles making her mother thing she had stuck glitter in her nose. Generally it wasn't too much of an issue for her as she mostly kept it to herself. Unfortunately as she got bigger, the powers she shown grown and she began to have more and more issues in containing it. Several objects would be shattered on accident as the young child as it seemed her control only grew less and less. Her parents took her to a therapist in order to hopefully manage her abilities in some desperate attempt to control it. While it seemed to help to some degree, Ashley would have little outbreaks that would cause and more destruction. it left her puzzled and afraid as she tried to suppress it.
Unfortunately, despite her best efforts the continually increasing and wild powers she had came to a peak. Ashley had come to with her home and much of her neighborhood destroyed. Her own parents laid dead on the ground with their blood and that of others she knew splattered over her. Her body had shook, despite not remotely recalling anything she knew full well she did it. Her body shook and tears had flowed down her face. It had only been a comforting hand that had eased her... the very hero that had stopped her rampage without taking her life known simply as Dragon Lord. It was due to them that she had settled down, crying into their stomach still so young, yet filled with the guilt. It was there words that had filled her with the desire to redeem herself, to walk the path of a hero to perhaps use some of her power to do good for others.
Today, Ashley balances her school life with her job as a hero. Kept in check by a special restraint in the form of a locker she is kept at ease having her abilities suppressed to not worry about going out of control and use them to some extent to serve others. She does her best despite her hectic schedule, attempting to further her own education as her parents would want while serving others to her fullest. With the current Hero Name of "Shy One" (given in part due to her shy nature often while being thanked resulting in her blushing or becoming generally flustered from attention) she hopes to do her best for the sake of those whose lives she stole away.

Ashley has the ability to manipulate energy both from herself and the area around her. She can channel and shape that energy to her will in various forms. Her largest control comes in the ability to shape the energy into durable solid shapes. The energy when manipulated into various shapes appears as a mostly translucent material often with a slight tint of orange, green, or pink behind it. The material itself comes off to be almost 'crystal' in its over-all appearance. While a relative novice, she can make it form into various shapes with more complex shapes requiring a larger deal of concentration behind it.
Energy Barrier
[SIZE= 1.3rem]She uses her energy manipulation technique to form a thin layer of protective energy to block attacks or defend. This technique can be used to apply as a frontal shield or be enacted as a full barrier, giving a large variety in how it is employed limited only by the user's imagination. The shield itself further aids in protecting the target by in a very minor part working to absorb away some of the energy to help mitigate the ability, although it is very much limited based off her own strength and still would physically need to take a majority of the blow. The barrier can be used as well as a makeshift platform to step upon, although currently she is limited to hovering it in the air a short distance, with greater weights requiring more concentration and energy to maintain the weight or height. While the barrier itself is [/SIZE]versatile[SIZE= 1.3rem], depending on the shape it takes and how much energy put into it, it can be limited on its durability. When used like a shield it allows for her to gather energy quicker to block an attack, where using a full barrier would spread that energy out making it less effective. The objects themselves are very durable, able to be made relatively heavy based off how much energy is applied to them. More complex shapes require her to concentrate a lot more in order to create them. No matter what object she mimics, it will always keep her signature appearance of her powers, the object appearing mostly transparent with an orange, green, or pink tint behind it.
Limitations
While possessing powers, she lacks any real physical training to back her up. She is very much a novice fighter having much room to train to get better at doing the act. While her barriers and objects are much more durable then even some of its real life counterparts, the strength realizes heavily upon the energy put into it. Her current techniques rely upon her being much more of a backline fighter, doing very poorly when it comes to close range. She has shown a great deal of hesitance about pushing her abilities, often noticed to hold back with her powers and in part hampered by a special restraint she uses to keep her energy in-check. Without the restraint, she can quickly become overwhelmed by her own energy putting herself in danger and having caused much destruction being unable to control her Energy manipulation at all. When her own abilities go out of control her own body can strain and buckle under the pressure, potentially killing or severally harming herself in the process. She is known to have panic attacks when she has nothing keeping her powers restrained.
