Kitchi was deep within the former Amazon forests with his tribe when he got his invitation to school, it was surprisingly in his native language of Giant. He had been curious about the outside for some time and wished to venture out and see what the world held outside his home village. However he couldn't up and leave, he was one of the tribes best hunters and fiercely loyal to his family. He approached them and the village elders with the letter showing it to them and requesting permission to venture forth. They obliged, and Kitchi placed a drop of blood upon the seal and watched it point the way for where to go (he would later find out he was only one of two in his group to have this function).

After some time he found himself in a strange place with oddly colored moving... things. He heard of dwarves and their strange creations from the people of the forest, but the people he saw were too tall, none of the females had beards, and they weren't trying to make something strange... what were these people, dragons, spirits, elementals? A spirit perhaps but this many all looking so similar was impossible, elementals all had traits regarding to their element, dragons never gathered in this great a number, their prides would clash along with their desires for things, only a few had horns so devils were unlikely, their ears were round so not elves... maybe dwarves and halflings had mutated? He didn't know, but he would find out eventually.

He continued to follow where the letter led him and after breaking countless traffic laws, a few run in with knights, and a run down of the situation over the period of a few months, Kitchi finally made it to the American School on pickup day. He was shocked by the strange flying thing that came down to pick him up, but the shock soon faded and curiosity and confusion took it's place in equal measure as he began asking how it worked in common. No one could tell him how it worked fully as each explained bits and pieces. It was so strange, he knew something happened to the natural order when their location changed and energies shifted... but they didn't pay it any further heed. It turns out the world had change far more than they realized in their small corner of the world.

However he didn't have long to ask questions, as in the span of a half hour he was soon at the school. He leaned on the railings to get a good view of it from above, for he doubted he would see such a view again. It was alien and majestic, and he was entranced by it for the short period of time he had to view it. He took the cloak he was given and hung it over his right side to keep his left arm free to move without disturbing the cloak. He wouldn't have worn it at all if he didn't feel like it was required, but seeing as how the others treated this place as sacred ground he would honor their traditions by putting it on. However he would wear it on his own terms, no tribe was allowed to dictate how one wore anything even if it was for a sacred ceremony if you were an outside, as long as you wore the item itself you were counted as having honored them.

He was sorted out into a group of mostly smaller people, about a quarter of which were "humans" which he had learned about recently. They were noisy, especially their footsteps, they wouldn't survive in the forest by making so much noise. He considered it strange that despite being much smaller than him they were much louder, they had the advantage in that regard. Still they were a strange new race his people knew nothing of, so perhaps they defied common sense. As he looked around who else was present he took note of two demons who looked to be related, an elemental in strange garb that stood out, a spirit, a dragon, and a fairy. The fairy he was most likely to associate with considering they would be more familiar with nature than the rest, and he liked spending most of his time outdoors.

His thoughts were soon interrupted by the start of the procession, and he soon found himself at the front of the group due to his long legs giving him a faster gait. Lots of people cheered them on, some sobbed farewells, if Kitchi didn't know this was a school he would think they were in a war party due to these reactions. His attention was soon drawn to the words on the arches on their path towards the school. The words seemed to resonate with him like the teachings of the old shaman of his village, clearly someone truly wise had inscribed them. He muttered a saying of honor under his breath in acknowledgement of the oath that he seemed to be taking by walking this path.

Now through the gates into the entrance hall Kitchi was amazed once more by his surroundings, he had never seen stone wrought in such a masterful way and with such fine detail that one would think the sages were petrified there instead of carved. He wanted to ask the sages questions and find out what vast wisdom they had, but alas they were but stone statues. Many in the group began chatting, but Kitchi continued to marvel at the statues as he felt a resonance with them. He realized perhaps the reason was because he felt at peace here, he was completely serene and calm despite being in a seemingly alien world. After the upper classmen finally sorted themselves out, he moved into the hall and took his seat near the back so people could see, as he could easily see over them. However he was soon bored with the ceremony, things drolled on and on. Finally their teacher arrived and began speaking in a strange tongue he could understand, but felt odd. Kitchi didn't question it and followed them. Thankfully the doors seemed to be enchanted as he saw a storm giant pass through a different one without issue.

After everyone grabbed their food and while the dancers headed onto the floor, Kitchi sat down near the fairy girl and next to the demon girl he noticed from earlier, and several of the other he notices were here too. "
Nitáp (knee-TAUP)." He stated as he sat down out of habit. "I meant to say greetings." He stated with a smile as he looked at those around him. "I am Kitchi Machk, may natures blessings be with you."

  • Faith Vallidoild
Faith.jpg There she was on a five-hour cruise on an airship. It was something out of a fantasy movie. You'd think Faith would be accustomed, but where she came from, magic is not common and the same goes for monsters. Discrimination of looking different without being given a chance is a popular criteria. Not that she was one of them, of course. Having the ability to be the first one out of her family since the collision to venture out for a chance to be something great even if things don't work out in the beginning, trying was better than nothing. Before she packed her belongings, the image of her siblings watching her leave and the somewhat stricken expression on her older brother's face left Faith convicted. She should be happy, but in the back of her head, she felt as though she's made a terrible mistake. Her passion overcame the doubts daring to spark. As she stares at the horizon, the view of the sunset was magnificent as if the sea swallowed up the sun and letting the moon take its place. The cooperation between the two allowing the water to sway freely. Looking over her shoulder, there were monsters in the mix causing Faith to wonder if Mermaids exist somewhere beneath the unexplored sea.

Once the ship docked, Faith was amazed by the grandiose architecture from its magical lights to the esncribed arch appearing as one passes by. Faith's eyes lit up mesmerized yet she partly felt strange to witness. A couple of monsters handed out cloaks near the entrance with a crest saying it was a ceremonial outfit. Faith gawked at the cloak finding the color atrocious. Her artistic insight kicked in as she opinioned yellow was not a great color unless accompanied by another color. The crest was pleasant and did not mind pinning it over her suspender's strap. The cloak was tossed over her shoulder and proceeded. She wondered why the uniform was more of a wizard-type thing.
"What is this, a wizarding school?" She scoffed to herself.

After the ceremony, it was time for the banquet. Sad to say, Faith's family was not able to personally be with her, but at least she was on T.V. which she hoped would relieve her siblings. Suffice to say, Faith was not comfortable being crowded, and seeing so many monsters was more than she can handle. She should have expected the possibilities, but she wanted to push through her anxiety. It only spiked when met with a derpy amphibian, sorcerer. It wasn't as bizarre as the mystical creatures you see in horror movies. Faith clutched her book bag tightly then sat down with everyone else. She had lost her appetite seeing a slime creature gobble their food and dripping goo. She covered her mouth and hid behind her beany before excusing herself in search of the bathroom. As the brunette wandered the halls, she found herself feeling better. The portraits of various teachers kept her mind off of everything. Honestly, she wanted to head to her dorm and get some rest, process the whole idea of seeing monsters walking amongst her. If she couldn't, she would be no different than the people back home and that wouldn't be a great image. With a heavy sigh, Faith leans against the wall contemplating what to do.

(for the short version read the last three paragraphs)

Marcus had shoulder length black hair and light skin, pale as though he never saw the sun and always wore a pair of burgundy, lightly tinted, sunglasses. Even with his skinny frame he admitted that he needed to find larger spaces to hide. For now nobody had noticed the space created by the way some Pre Merge world filing cabinets were clustered in the back room. Once inside the space they had enough room to lay, curled up somewhat, on the floor if he really needed to. It wasn't often but intermittently a for real 'troubled youth' would stay briefly on their way to juvie. Those were hiding days.

Sitting cross-legged on the towel covered floor to look it over. He knew it was not a standard letter. The thing had appeared on his caseworker's desk. It got misplaced and then forgotten for a while, which was standard, but then he was allowed to read it alone, which was not standard. Hiding it from the others he followed the whole group lunch, cleanup, and got handed a few job applications to fill out. They were expected to be done before mail pickup at three-twenty; the point in time when things that would go out today were finished being collected and anything arriving later would be on tomorrow's truck. As if, with his record, waiting a day would matter.

Days did matter though, some of them more than others. A week and a half from officially aging out of the programme he did not consider refusing the invitation. The requirement of blood freaked him out but he'd do anything to keep them both fed and sheltered.

Noodle had grown longer faster than wider and could talk audibly but then again she still tended to get her own food. He was still working to curb the 'midnight trash raid' habit.

Covered in scales and fur she'd had vivid blue, yellow, and neon green scales with peach fur trim when he had first met her. Grown now to an ivory iridescent belly and olive green which transitioned, like an ombre, up her sides to teal and gold on her back. Red fur had replaced the peach fluff to look bit like an axolotl's gill fringe, in that it curved behind the hinge of her jaws on each side. Down her back growing much longer at the end of her tail the same fur grew to a sort of tassel. Lately she'd been scratching at the back sides of her claw-toed legs. Marcus was pretty sure there would be fur there too.

"Says we need to give them blood," he spoke to the body wrapped around his chest and beneath his tee.

With her little legs drawn flat to her sides she could, and did, slither up to poke her head out of the neck hole, crowding him so he had to crick his neck over to keep some of the fur out of his eyes. "Bloods." Turning she slithered up, around behind his neck to look over one shoulder. "Wants fight?"

He closed his eyes and sighed a tense breath. "No, they only want a drop--one spot. And you're stretching out my shirt. Again."

Using one of her dew claws they each pricked their skin enough to get some blood onto the envelope. Marcus swirled it with his finger then tilted the paper to try getting just one drop in the right place. Then it vanished.

Noodle turned a tight circle on the floor and rolled over to add a twist to it. At least one of them was excited. ...If two out of three 'ain't bad' maybe one out of two wasn't...horrible? Marcus picked her up, dusty, cobwebs and all to drape behind his neck, like a fashion scarf, so he could squeeze his way out again. He wouldn't be using that hide much longer, maybe not even any more if things stayed quiet. "Think I'll tell Asham about that hideout. Wouldn't want it to go to waste." The snakey body looped over his shoulders gave her opinion by purring softly.

Of course her Marcus would give the safe place to the new one that needed alone time to work out their problems. Because it was Marcus and her Marcus took care of people. Even if he said she could not eat the noisy tiny dog next door. That was silly because of course she could eat it, without even stretching her jaw. But Marcus insisted: No eating Tinky-Boo.

His social worker had insisted on getting clothes and he insisted everything fit into his duffel bag. A very upset Noodle had to get the appropriate shots and exam to leave the state, after which he'd needed to put up with her whimpering and fussing for hours.

The only parts which went as easy as he had anticipated they would were picking out a collar for Noodle then putting it around her neck. He wore a duplicate as a wristband with the same identification number on tags so they could be matched if separated. Noodle was giddy about her new necklace and the pretty-pretty charm and kept bringing attention to the fact that they had samesies.

Waiting at the top of a sky-rise where a helipad had been refitted to serve as an airship dock, Marcus's eyes went wide taking in the ship which appeared to have stopped only for him. The social worker accompanied him because he was technically still a minor. and there had been a bit of a quiet disagreement over having to be parted from his bag but his chaperone ended that with a demand that he just get on the damn ship and that his stuff would be with everyone else's and therefore 'safe'. The upset was forgotten when Marcus felt the flippy weightless-ish sense, that could be felt in a fast elevator, as the airship dropped a few yards once disengaged from the docking port. Then it rose steady and smooth and he firmly turned his back on the windows to the point of leaning back against one.

He could feel the wind hitting the glass through his shoulders and, it might just be him talking himself into it but he thought he could just barely feel the hum of the motor beneath his feet. Just as terrified as the first, and only other, time they'd flown Noodle stayed wrapped around him, buried in the layers he wore. Their escort was fascinated by the view and almost forgot to check on the pair at all.

When they docked again there was a large--it looked like one of those old European castellated Abbeys, to him and since he was one of the last to disembark he had a little time to look. Stone and windows with additions. Silent and cynical he amended that impression, <More probably designed to look like additions. To make the place seem old. Nothing here really was though. Not in all of North America. Except a few remote places like where the Pueblo indians carved into the cliffs.>

<Not lost.> Noodle thought the words gently, hoping to comfort him. He pushed away, as usual, but playing chase-catch with Marcus was a long term game. She nuzzled into his ribs just enough to make him chuckle, once, through gritted teeth. It was enough to break his focus and he resumed that sense of awe which he was trying to crush down against. Her work done for the moment Noodle fell asleep for a post horror nap.

A really tall guy who looked human-ish. Some kids with blue tinged hair had found eachother and were a group already. A few kids copping attitudes and a few too excited for it to be healthy, he was pretty sure. Led away from the gathering for a few minutes to sign papers. Confirm he had no allergies and took no medication. a record of the number inscribed on the tag attached to the buckled strap around his wrist. A little effort to dig through his shirts and one very sleepy 'pretty girl'--according to the school official, was noted and her collar number was confirmed, after which he was handed a pile of yellow fabric folded with deliberation to show off the school's crest.

He had tried, initially, to roll up and stow the cape in a side pocket of his men's overcoat when he was handed but he'd fallen in line and worn it proper, for the parade, when corrected. Then it was back to everybody was now wearing yellow capes.

On being given one he started to fold it so it could be stored in a large side pocket of the dark khaki men's overcoat he wore over everything else. That mistake was corrected, without scowls or impatience, and he draped the thing properly across his shoulders and down his back. Groups were divided and arranged and it seemed like somebody expected them all to be able to walk in a straight line formation.

Sticking to the last third of the group he'd been put in he fell behind becoming one of the stragglers as he read then reread the words on each arch. He wanted to make sure he would remember even their punctuation long enough to get it all written down. Murmuring the lines under his breath he followed everyone else on autopilot until looking up he gasped in surprise at the sea of tables. And food.

As soon as allowed the yellow rectangle was adjusted to drape over his left shoulder like some long ago movie swashbuckler. Now even though his duffel bag wasn't over his left shoulder Marcus's hand was loosely closed as if holding the bag's handles out of habit. It had been with him for almost a decade and he'd never gone to, or been returned by, a foster without it.

Finding a place at the end of a table looked like a lost cause--prime real estate, apparently--so he fished a receipt from a pocket, along with a green mini pen and leaned over the narrow end of a table to write out the words from the arches outside. The table he'd stopped at already had people sitting and he was in a hurry to get a seat but he had to make sure he wouldn't forget even the punctuation.

A girl ran past with a hat in front of her face. His immediate reaction was to look where she had fled from rather than where she was going. Spotting her empty seat he pushed the slip of paper up one sleeve and darted into the abandoned seat to grab every roll from her plate into his pockets. Spreading out her napkin he got anything else he was sure of like grapes from the fruit salad, little tiny roasted potatoes and steamed carrots. Wrapped and tied they went into a pocket as well. Using her silverware Marcus gulped mashed potatoes, meat and some things he did not recognise. He kept his head down, protecting the plate while checking to make sure the adults were busy.

He hadn't removed his sunglasses--just slightly tinted burgundy-- but tried anyway to catch the eye of the person two over from him. Leaning behind the kid between them Marcus asked, "If you're not gona eat that asparagus mind if I have it?" He had never seen a person with rough and scaly skin who also seemed to produce vast amounts of mucus. He didn't have to know someone's race to recognise when they disliked a particular vegetable though and they had shoved green stems nearly off their plate. He flashed a grin and said a quick thanks when given the chance to rake the greens onto the brunette girl's plate. He asked on the diagonal across the table and got an apple. Someone else gave him a cookie. He was without his bag, sure, but there were a lot of pockets in his layers of clothing.

1628358240696.png1628358279063.pngTay and Kiree recieved their letters and told their parents who were so delighted at the news they secretly planned a party for the two for the night before they had to leave. Thankfully they could do this and still be on time in the morning due to being right next to the school for their continent since they lived right by Yellowstone. The night started off with a formal family picture but was then filled with games, drinking, laughs, and most of all; love. The Winters were a tight knit family and everyone had come to see them off and watch the ceremony. As such they partied hard the night before, took a party picture of everyone being silly, and enjoyed the night before they had to give teary goodbyes tomorrow.

Soon the next morning was met with hangovers and healing magic before everyone walked over to the entrance of the school as they saw the aircraft land. Soon all the luggage was packed into the ship by the workers for the siblings and the family was free to enjoy the flight. The workers couldn't help but gawk as the group of twenty boarded the ship, and were all of relation since their grandmother Lily couldn't help but brag about having so many grandbabies. Arlsok teased the workers for thinking she was one of the grandchildren and Evren smiled at the affair as he lovingly watched the proceedings.

Thankfully everything soon quieted down as everyone leaned against the railing and gazed upon the sparkling snowy scenery of their home as they passed. Tayen placed his hand on Kiree's shoulder comfortingly but said nothing as he attempted to assure her they would be fine so far from everyone. However within an hour's time they were soon above the school and marveling at the architecture and beauty of it all. However during the gawking Evren pulled Tayen aside, and Arlosk pulled off Kiree for their chats.

Evren pulls Tayen into one of the compartments and the two sit down, Evren smiles at Tayen. "I suppose I need to talk to you about life now." He stated with a sigh. "As you know your mother and I met in highschool and went to college together, and I know better than anyone you're our son, so if you get a girlfriend in college and do the do, wear protection. There are strange new diseases in this world and you don't want to have a child at school... granted I know I didn't do that, but luckily your mother can shapeshift at will so she luckily kept anything from happening during our time there, but that's beside the point." He says as he smiles at Tayen. "I know you're handsome and will get a pretty girl like I did. I'd tell you to be yourself, but it's you and you're always yourself seeing as how kind you are even to strangers. Anyways go have fun at school. You know we love you and are proud of you. Oh, one last warning... don't date any slime girls... you'll thank me later." Evren says with a shiver as he recalled stories his friends told him of their time with slime girls. Tayen nods in response and places his hand over his mouth as he chuckles some at his father's expense. Evren gets up and hugs Tayen and puts his arm around him as they head back outside. Tayen hugs his father back and places his arm around his father as they watch the remainder of their descent.

In the meantime... Kiree was a bit confused as to why her mother had pulled her aside, However, the reason soon became clear. "Hey Kiree I know your basically an adult now but sweetie there are a few things we should talk about" Arlosk sighed as she spoke. "You know me and your father met in high school and we been together since then but truth be told life isn't that easy." Arlosk stated as she wrapped her tail around kiree and gently pulled her closer. "As much as I'd like to say it is, I don't expect you to find the perfect partner now just because we did. So no pressure ok? Just have fun and keep being that sweet adorable you Kiree." She explained with a large smile taking shape, Kiree hugging her mother tightly. "Yeah I get it mom, thanks though." Kiree replied with an equally large smile before the pair returned to the rest of there family.

They soon rejoined the group as the ship landed and they were told to split up, but they would be able to see them off officially on the bridge during the ceremony. However in winter family style, they had to give some hugs and goodbyes now. Grandmother Lily quickly hugged the two tightly before pinching each of their cheeks with a loving smile. "I'm going to miss you two cuties sooooo much! You better go knock their socks off you two! Also make me great grandbabies soon! Your elder siblings are far too slow since I don't have any yet!" She teased as she shot the siblings a glare, though they all looked away and began listening prompting a chuckle from Evren and Glacias. Their grandfather Glacias places a hand on one of each of their shoulders with a smile before pulling them into a hug before letting them go.

Areni would give huge smile to both of them her tail coiling around both Tay and Kiree lifting the pair up before she hugged them tightly. "Awwww you two cuties grow up so fast" she cooed, squishing their cheek a little. "I'm sure you're both gonna have a great time... aaand maybe find a lover while you're at it~" She teases before putting them both down and stepping away and letting Bethon step forward. He gave them both a quick hug and patted them on the head. "Don't worry too much bout your grandmothers its just teasing no need to feel pressured." He whispered to them both with a grin.

Callan stepped up after his grandparents and his lips curled into a small smile, while most would consider it strange he didn't seem happier, everyone knew this was about as much expression you would ever see on his face. He stooped down and picked them both up with a hug. "I'll miss you two." He stated before setting them down. He turned to the two before pulling two things out from his bag. "I got you two something." He stated with a smile as he handed them over. "Go ahead and open them." He stated as he looked at them expectantly. Tay open his and lights up as he looks down at a new rope dart with thin mithral links. He proceeds to jump up and hug Callan. "Thank you so much!" He exclaims. Kiree opened her own gives the girls blue eyes lighting up like shimmering diamonds as in the box was what looked like an ordinary pen but she could tell it was one of those new near-infinite ink pens along with all those different colors it came with even better it was a cool icy blue coloration. "WOAH THIS IS PERFECT CALLAN!" She yelled, almost making a scree sound out of excitement over the gift. She almost forgot to give Callan a hug but then realized and quickly did so. Callan grinned and patted them both on the head before stepping aside for Zephyr to take his turn.

Zephyr stared at the two with his ever present far off look, however he had a warm smile on this time. "I bid you farewell. Good Luck in school and have fun. You two will be missed." He stated in Haiku, as he was ever the poet. He smiled and presented each of them with a painting, for Tayen he painted a moonlit glade with a beautiful starry night, and for Kiree he painted her writing a scene and her writing turning into a galaxy. He hugged them and then made way for Cyra. "Ohhhh I'll miss you two so much!" She stated as she hugged them. "I didn't know I was supposed to bring a gift or I would have made you something!" You two hold back a grimace, as you know she would have tried combining a large amount of her many failed talents, there was a reason the only job she could hold down was being part of the subjugation team, instead she slides some money to the pair so they could get themselves something. She then steps aside to let Ollin have his turn.

Ollin stepped forward in his usual jittery and energetic way, as he gave them both smiles. "Well... guess we won't see each other much, though might just show up to see how ya doing once in a while." He said with a smile and an awkward goodbye with his typical excuse that he had to travel somewhere, it was just Ollin being Ollin. "Oh yeah before I forget again, I got you both something a little exotic thought you both would love them." He announced with a smile as he pulled out two small boxes. "I suggest you open them later if you ever feeling homesick." Ollin explain kinda cryptically giving them both a quick hug before darting off through one of his portals. Lena stepped forward after Ollin, shaking her head and chuckling at her elder brother's odd mannerisms. She then turned her attention towards Tay and Kiree. "You two are gonna be great and I know it. Make sure the first impression is the best it can be." She'd then pick each one of em up to hug them. "Really going to miss both of you." She declared solemnly. Arash put his arm around Lena to comfort her. "I know I'm not really related to you two, but you're still like family. Continue to be awesome at school now y'hear?" He states as he waves farewell as he moves away with Lena towards the others.

Ashnah stepped up next... as a large but cute snake and waggled around a little bit earning a giggle form the pair before shifting into her normal form and giving them both a hug. "I'm going to miss you rascals! I got you both a pair of matching necklaces made from gems in an ogre's lair. Make sure to give the other one to your partner~ they'll light up between the two of you." She stated with a teasing grin as she moved aside to let Lucian through... but he had to be dragged over by the horn as he tried to study the ship they were just on. "Ah yes sorry I got distracted by that marvelous creation, I just want to know how it wo-" He declares before he's bonked on the head by Ashnah. "Ah yes here are your gifts! And I can't wait to see you two on break!" He declared before moving off to study the machine again much to Ashnah's chagrin... oh well that was Lucian. Lumi stepped up next next to hug the pair. "I hate how you two are stealing the spotlight again." She teases with a giggle. "I love you two, now go wild and show them your talent!" She states as she pulls out an album. "I know you're not a fan of rock and pop Kiree so I made a smooth jazz and classical mix just for you two! And I know you're good with most things Tay so here's all my songs!" She states with a wide smile before heads out to prepare for a concert she scheduled that happened to coincide with their arrival.

Fayre was the next to step forward with her ever present confident smile as she booped them both on the nose first. "Knock em dead." She'd declared before giving them a quick hug and slipping some gold rings with crystal inlays into their pockets, two for Fay in case he proposed at some point. The younger siblings didn't have any presents for them but helped the others figure out what to do. Zale came over first and hugged the pair. "I'll get to be the popular one with the ladies now!" He joked as he punched Tayen on the shoulder jokingly. "I better not come here in two years to find you two with harems." He joked as he moved aside and pulled Isek forward to say goodbye seeing as she was shyly hiding behind him. She quietly hugged the pair before running off to go bury herself in a book. While the others watched Isek move away Ceres jumped up and hugged both of them. "Imma miss you!" She states timidly as a she starts to tear up and Lily moves over to pick her up and calm her down.

Evren walked over to the two with Arlosk with a smile. "I'm so proud of you two, I can't wait to see how you two grow and mature on your own." He stated grin as he ruffled their hair. Arlosk smiled, but a rueful smile that showed the pain of having to separate. Depsite having so many children,it was always one of those tear jerking moment to see them really grow up properly for both of them, Evren was just better at staying composed about it. "This gets me every time... you're always gonna be my little cuties." She'd says as she hugs them both hup tightly. "I'm so proud of you both." She'd softly whispers to them both, her voice as sweet as can be. "Now go have fun you two, and remember we'll always love you and be proud no matter how you do in school." Evren states as he gives them one last hug as he hands them a package with the photos they took yesterday in neat frames.

Of course the two had to pass off most of the items to the porters who were moving things to their rooms, but soon they put on their cloaks and were given a few minutes to prepare, however Tayen was already ready in his comfortable clothes and cloak. He looked around to see a giant with his cloak hanging over his right arm, a cute fairy, a bone elemental, and most importantly a pretty spirit. Tayen already felt linked to her somehow, perhaps she was also related to the moon or night sky. In the meantime Kiree had been playing with her new pen in fascination. However the procession soon began and they got to see their family in a final send off as they walked down the path. After they passed their family they marveled at the ancient writing and architecture and went through the ceremony and finally their teacher arrived. Tayen couldn't help but smile at the adorable looking salamander spirit. Their speech patterns and accent only proceeded to compound upon the adorableness of their teacher.

Tayen leans over to Kiree's ear, "He's adorable." He whispers to her with a grin. She saw their teacher and couldn't help but relply, "His face is so squigy I want to squeeze his cheeks." She replied with a large grin. The siblings and about 100 others students where to follow the adorable salamancer of which Kiree was more then happy to do. Towards what seemed like a door leading into a wall, only for it to be a incredibly ornate banquet hall. “Woah this is so cool!” Kiree had to cover her mouth Quickly thinking she was being too loud. Tay just nodded in agreement. The pair would quickly find a place to sit. After they grabbed their food, Tayen put his down in an empty spot next to Kiree, no one was next to him yet either and it didn't seem like anyone would anytime soon either. The giant sat down next to Kiree and beyond him was the cute fairy girl and the bone elemental, the former of which the giant seemed most interested in, likely due to their ties to nature. The giant proceeded to say hello in a foreign language which he assumed was either the forest giant's dialect of Jotunn or something else before correcting himself and speaking in common.

Kitchi's greeting made made Kiree smile. “Well nice to meet you to Kitchi, I’m Kiree Winters.” She greeted the giant cheerfully looking up at them. “This place is crazy isn’t it? I think it’s gonna be amazing!” She added, with a bright excitable spark in her blue eyes. "Nice to meet you too. I'm Tayen." He replied with a soft grin as the giant seemed to offer a blessing to them. He wanted to chat and say more, but he noticed the pretty spirit girl sit down alone and some guys with less than pure intentions aiming for her. Thankfully she was just across the row from him so he jumped onto the middle bridge and once more over to her. "Would you like to join me?" He inquires with a gentle smile. "My sister and a few other girls are also sitting over there. I'm Tayen by the way, but everyone calls me Tay." He states as his tail begins to swish back and forth behind him with a mix of nervousness and excitement.

233a2847421b8f3306a628da346661cb.jpg For the past few minutes, Aurora had pensively poked her food. She questioned how her father is doing without her and if he would sleep well. Being apart for such a long period is a strange feeling, and she wasn't sure cared to try now that she's reached the distance. Still, she knew her father would be disappointed that she didn't try hard enough to find answers. The blonde hummed and props her head on her palm.

Her eyes wander over to the salamander telling an adventurous tale. For those that are near, it was possibly an enjoyable. Ahead, was a dancefloor open to everyone, but who would she dance with whoever she met would be her fist and if that wasn't enough, she doesn't know how to dance. The cosmic girl failed to notice the many eyes coming from various males, mostly demons embodying lust. Some were probably just bored and some greedy ideas. Whatever the case, she promised to behave for her father's sake. The last thing she wanted was to cause a commotion. Still, she found herself oblivious to be on guard until a young fellow approached her.

His eyes are a silver blue like the ocean and his highlights are also the same color, mixing well with his complexion. While he may have a connection, she sees a friend, a chance to talk to someone. She wasn't expecting a visitor and asked to join her. At first she was perplexed having no clue why she would bother to move. He then explained he had a good group of friends across and be able. Given how difficult it would be to communicate, she supposed it would be better than nothing.
"Sure, ok." She chirped carrying her plate over to the empty seat.

As she walked along the male, she noticed his tail and horns almost like a devil-like creature.
"Cool horns, and your tail looks cool too. Almost like an arrow." She chuckled. "Are you a devil?" She bluntly asked not finding the question of one's identity rude for she had no true understanding of social manners.

Telith claws tapped against the window as he stared out of the airship window. Sitting next to his father though the diffrence between them both was incredibly obvious. Galath a large tall strong looking demon. And Telith the boy clad in some leathery armor and a hoodie, face obscured by an abyss of darkness only two Orange glowing orbs where visable within. "You ok Telith you look worried" Galath asked With a cornered look on his face. "Um yeah... just thinking it's ok dad.." Telith responded quietly.
----------
With the airships arrival and the whole ceremony thing with the capes and the big parade Telith was left incredibly uncomfortable being paraded out in front of so many people he felt as if everyone had been staring at him hardly looking at the buildings Telith mostly stared at the floor but tried his best to remain somewhat respectable looking.

As soon as that whole ceremony thing was over it was time for goodbyes Telith hugging his father tightly and Galath returning the gesture. "I'm... really going to miss you" Teliths words where almost sobs. Galath gently patting the boy on the head. "It will be ok Telith, it won't be too long least bot for you, besides if i remeber correctly some of your cousins kids will be attending too so your not going to be completely alone" Galath responded reassuringly. " hu ok i'm sure it will be good then" telith responded his eyes shifting to a whitish color.
------
With goodbyes said now the group was led towards some sort of banquet hall by a funny salamander man however Telith just hovered around the edges for a little before slipping out of the hall having had enough crowds for one day, the school's hallways however were nice and peaceful hardly a noise telith eyes shifting to a light blue and yellow mixture. Soon however he'd spot a girl leaning against the wall her expression was one telith knew too well one of having delt with too much in one day. Telith would walk towards the slowly leaning against the wall next to them. "Um hey... crowed got bit too much hey... trust me I know the feeling.. but being alone isn't good either so.. well... hope your ok..." Telith realised he was kind if just rambling looking around for a moment he'd hold out one hand raises his other own from each claw multi-colour strands of energy flowed off Telith clawd solidifying into a golden braclet inladend with rubies and sapphires the gems carved into small simple shapes. Telith would carefully offer the girl what he had just produce for thin air. "Um it's not much but just a little errr gift... I don't know if it makes you feel any better.... um would you like a hug mabye?" Telith asked softly with his long rambly response. His sharp toothy grin emerging from the abyss of his hoodie as he smiled at the girl.

Tayen sighed in relief as she accepted his offer to join the group on the other side of the table. He couldn't help but blush some as she brought up his horns and tail with compliments. He wasn't quite sure how to respond as she chuckled at him, seemingly at his red cheeks. After she chuckled she then asked if he was a devil... which was a more complicated answer than one would think. "Kinda... I'm a Cambion, half elemental half devil." He explains bashfully as he touched one of his horns. "A-Anyways, I didn't catch your name..." Tayen says hoping to get her name so he could address her as something other than 'you'.

After she answered Tay couldn't help but grin. "You've got such a pretty name. Mine is also related to the sky, Tayen means born of the moon." He explains with a soft smile as they arrive at the other side where Kiree and the others are. "Aurora this is my sister Kiree, and the big guy there is named Kitchi. I haven't caught the other's names yet though." He states in kind tone hoping everyone gets along. He wanted to ask if she was interested in dancing with him, but for now he didn't quite have the courage too, he just didn't want to ruin the mood in case the question was off putting... after dinner would be a better time once everyone got to know each other and they were done eating.

"Kiree and I are from Yellowstone in Continente Glacial, mind if I ask where you're from Aurora?" Tay asked politely as he tries to get to know her a bit better. He began to eat some of his lasagna, carefully avoiding being messy... what a poor food selection for such a time... oh well too late now, at least it tasted good. After a pause, trying to avoid awkward silence he decided to ask another question. "So what sort of things do you like to do Aurora?"

233a2847421b8f3306a628da346661cb.jpg Tay identified as an unordinary species she has never encountered. "Cambo...what?" She tilts her head quizzically trying to pronounce the name. "Nevermind, I think that's pretty cool." She chirped. "Ah so you're a half-breed. Do you get frowned upon or do you fit in just fine?" She queried so bluntly. Tay decided to dismiss the confusion hinting to drop the topic. He then asked Aurora for her name. "My name is Aurora Galaxia." She proudly puffs her chest out as Tay returns the favor of giving his. His name derived with the night sky much like hers. "Thank you. Your name sounds pretty too. I was born under the Aurora borealis so my father gave me the name."

The pair made it across with Tay introducing some characters. One of them happened to be their sister, kiree and tall giant dressed in Navaho clothing. "Nice to meet you, I'm Aurora. Thank you for having me." Her eyes marvel at the demon dressed in blue. She leans in and touches Kiree's horns. "Oh, wow! Your horns are like shadow flame much like mine." She ignites her hand into a purplish black shadow hand. Is your element shadow too?" Part of Aurora wanted to know if she was like her to find out what she is. Unfortunately, Aurora has yet to learn that she is one of a kind. Before Kiree could answer, Tay began to bombard Aurora with questions causing the girl to feel a little cautious.

"Why do you want to know? Isn't my name sufficient or are you working for someone maybe someone put you up to something?" Her demeanor changed instantly glaring daggers at Tay to the point her eyes glowed. Now Aurora isn't one be uptight, but given her experience with trusting strangers, it has gotten her and her father in trouble to the point she put him in danger. It was a traumatic lesson she had to learn alone as her father had warned her to trust no one unless reliable for emergencies but most importantly, hold her own. Whatever Anthony's mistakes were in the past, his teachings were passed on to her.

People continued to mingle and talk. Meeting probable classmates and laughing, talking, commenting on the architecture or the food or trying to hide their homesickness. Marcus glanced toward the high table where the Salamancer was mostly staying, looking through his black fringe to make sure none of the adult figures had snuck away without his noticing to keep himself, hopefully, from getting caught. Blatantly hiding food around these children was one thing, having an adult catch him was a whole other matter.

A few people had started started to linger on the edge of the dance floor. Some of the most extroverted students had actually started dancing and pulling new friends further out into the open. For the most part they were in small social groups rather than pairs but all Marcus cared about was the general trend. Then a seat opened at the samee table but a few places down and on the other side from him. Before anybody else could he got up from the seat he'd taken and kept his head down just enough to hide the way he kept an eye on the teachers' table. Moving around the nearest end he hurried to take the would-be dancer's chair.

This kid had eaten more than the wavy haired, queasy brunette had but there was more juice left in the cup and from here he could reach a vegetable and cheese tray. Dumping it all into a bag might not have gone unnoticed, or at least un-commented on, but a fresh napkin could hold a reasonable amount. Then the guy beside him didn't seem to even be aware that napkins were a thing. So he took that one too.

On his other side was a girl...dark hair, 'interesting' clothes. Entirely impractical but also probably expensive. That or she'd also shopped in a few salvage stores. "You done with that?" he gave an indicative nod toward something that she had moved to one side of her plate--she'd either taken it to be polite or been pressured into accepting it he guessed but either way she didn't seem inclined to eat it. At the very least he could maybe get her napkin.

Roisin
_______________________________________________

Roisin was helping her mother tend to the royal gardens when a large lady bug fluttered up to them. Her long hair swayed in the gust of wind the bug caused when it landed. She immediately darted behind her mother, her fear of bugs included the....semi cute ones. Her mother rolled her eyes and fluttered up to the bug. There appeared to be a note or letter of some kind attached to the leg. her mother untied the note and thanked the lady bug with a kiss on the head. It fluttered a bit in happiness and took off. Roisin gave a sigh of relief as her mother handed her the letter to look at. "What is it sweet pea?" Her mother asked as Roisin read. As she read her wings began fluttering on their own. She threw her hands up and did a little backflip summer sault with her wings. "Woohoo!" She exclaimed. "It's an invitation letter to attend a school in America!" After saying that her mother looked slightly concerned. "Will you go?" She asked. Roisin nodded quickly "Of course! Think of all the new people I could meet! think of all the things I could learn!"

At that moment her father walked into the gardens to visit them after the Prince's lessons were over. "What's going on?" He asked with a warm smile as he got closer and put an arm around her mother to look at her. "She's been invited to attend the new school in America..." Her mother trailed off. Her dad tilted his head a bit "You don't sound thrilled." He commented. "Mom's just over protective you know! I'm 235 now!" Roisin shook her head and just looked back to the letter hoping to find instructions on how to get there. She did. While her parents were discussing her leaving or not she grabbed hold of a near by rose and let the thorn prick her thumb. She positioned her thumb over the magic circle on the paper and as her blood touched her a little puff of magics was seen and an arrow appeared. Her parents looked at her in shock. She just smiled they were worried for nothing, She would miss them but, She could send fairy messengers or letters!

"I've already accepted! I'll make sure to write plenty of letters!" She turned to zip off in the direction the arrow pointed her in but her dad caught her by the wings. "Now wait just a minute young lady-" He paused to push his spectacles up."-You can't leave without telling anyone." She hung her head. "Fiiiiiiiine." He let go of her and nodded to her mother. "I will tell the queen, She'll be happy to know that you've been invited. You might get your own banquet!" "But dad! I have to make it on time you know!" He laughed "You're the fastest flyer I've ever scene, You'll make it in plenty of time even if you start tomorrow." Roisin sighed in defeat and conceded to her father telling the queen.

Within minutes the whole city knew of her acceptance and a Banquet was, indeed, to be held in her honor. It lasted long into the night with plenty of food, drinking, and dancing. Even the young prince was enjoying himself, though she doubted he knew what was really going on. He was only 100 after all. After the festivities many were sleeping peacefully all over the hall. A select few stayed awake including her parents, the queen, her advisers, and the young prince.
"You will be missed my dear garden fairy." The queen said with a smile. "Thank you you're highness." Roisin responded with a small bow of her head. "Here darling." Her father had his hand outstretched to her, in it was a small silver bracelet. She took it and admired it's beauty. "What's the catch, this doesn't have a location spell on it right." She eyed her father with a suspicious look. "No no, it's just enchanted with a small reserve of magical energy should you need it." He said kindly. "Hmmm well alright thanks!" She hugged him tightly, and then her mother. She bowed again to the queen and the young prince. "I'll be off then, thank you everyone for your kind words and celebration!" With that she picked up her pre-packed luggage and flew away waving as she did.

Once out of sight of the city she unfurled the letter while flying so she would know which way to go. Her father was right and she made it to a large airship landing in good time. It seemed she arrived just in time in fact since it was to be leaving soon. She took a quick look around. Wow. There were so many people there, even creatures not of the forest, creatures she had never seen, large people small people, and everything in between. She twirled in the air in excitement again before zipping through the gates and onto the ship. She picked a nice windowsill to land on and put down her things next to her as she looked outside with her face pressed against the glass. It was then it hit her, She was dead tired. She fell back into a seated position and then eventually cuddled up to her bags, they were made of the soft lamb's ear plant, perfect for cuddles. Soon She fell asleep as the airship began to move.

Rosin awoke to soft taps on her head. What looked like dwarf had been tapping her awake "We've arrived miss." She shot up and looked outside the window to see a brilliant academy stretched out before her.
"Oh thank you so much!" She gave the dwarf a small peck on the cheek as thanks and grabbed her bags before zipping off again. She flew past many people trying to get as close to the front as possible. once she made it She stopped dead in the air and stared in awe at the beauty of the Structure. She decided this would be a good time to become person sized. So She did, and her bags grew with her. The people surrounding her were slightly shocked at her appearance as some of them hadn't noticed her in fairy form. She breathed deeply as her journey was soon beginning.

Before walking through the arch she was handed a cloak with the school crest. She clipped it around her shoulders and shrunk herself to make sure it would shrink as well. It did. back to human size she took a look at the etchings in the arch. It filled her with hope for the future and her new life here. Stepping into the great hall was like stepping into another world. She was totally caught up in the architecture, so much so that she mist more than half of what the headmaster was saying. By the time She snapped out of it She was being let to a Banquet hall and a salamander man had appeared and began speaking in a funny tongue. Man another banquet...She thought. oh well. After the salamander had introduced himself as the Salamancer and told them he'd be their homeroom teacher she Quickly picked a seat.

She was still a bit tired and using her legs in human form was something she wasn't really used to, Though she figured She'd be getting used to it a lot more here at the school. She looked in front of her at the many many food options and picked the sweetest things She could. Honey covered fruit, Lavender and Rose syrup punch, and a dandelion green salad with what appeared to be a violet dressing and several mushrooms. As She was looking around at all her new classmates and eating her fruit she sensed a large presence to her right. She looked immediately and almost choked on her fruit. She was looking at a man who was at lest 2 feet taller than her when she was in her human form. He sat down and said hello in a language she hadn't heard before and then corrected himself in the common tongue. He then introduced himself as Kitchi.

Roisin popped into fairy size and fluttered up to his face. She waved with a smile "My name is Roisin! Wow you're so tall. May natures blessing be with us all at this new school! Do you ever wonder what it's like to be short since you're so high up? I bet you have a great view at events! I bet no one ever swats at you huh. Do you like being so tall? What are you anyways I've never seen someone so tall! Is everyone like you this high up?" She flitted and landed on his head looking around with her hands above her eyes as if she was looking out. "Wow it's a great view from up here I can see everything!" She also happened to see a girl with brown hair running into a hallway and a boy quickly steal her seat....and her food. "Huh weird..." She muttered. She shrugged to herself and zipped back to her seat next to the giant and popped back into human form to continue eating. She looked at the tall man expectantly as she chewed, Awaiting a response.

Tay shyly looked away when Aurora asked about how cambions were received... they weren't all taht uncommon, but every city, country, and continent had it's own reaction to them. Most of the time people were indefferent, as they were just normal people to them, for some they were embraced in a creepy way by "progresiveism" or whatever the term was, and the other part of the time they were seen as second class people belonging to neither parent race. Thankfully Tayen grew up in a loving home with plenty of siblings, and nine years ago the merge occurred which distracted most people from worrying about race... at least for a while. As for now, he seemed to fit in fine in most places in the north and America.

After Tayen introduced the others, Aurora gravitated towards Kiree's black horns and began asking questions about her powers. Tayen let Kiree answer for herself, but it seemed his follow up questions to try and know. "Wh- I just wa- no!" He stuttered as he shrunk into himself. "I just wanted to get to know you better..." He explains in a soft and quiet voice as he picks at his food as her attitude did a complete 180. What did he do wrong...? He liked helping others and that's why he helped Aurora avoid being harassed... but now as he tries to be nice and get to know her by trying to be a bit more outgoing he's berated for it. He should have just stayed quiet like normal...

He wanted to hide, to escape, he wanted to be free and go dance in the moonlight alone... but he put himself in this situation and he had to get himself out of it... but he couldn't just leave either considering his sister was here. "I just wanted to know more about you and your culture so I could make better conversation... if you don't want to tell me you don't have to. Just don't treat me like an enemy for trying to be friendly." He declares honestly, feeling a bit hurt inside that he even had to say that... he just wanted to make friends. After saying it he seems to pay more attention to his food as he pokes it, taking small bites. His tail now lays limply on the ground beside his chair, no longer held high.

After he said hello and introduced himself, the others spoke up and returned the greeting. One spoke up further as their sibling left to go towards the attractive spirit he noticed earlier. Perhaps the boy was fueled by hormones and desired to mate, though he noticed many others shared that look and the boy seemed much calmer so either he was good at hiding it or he had no ulterior motives. The sister on the other hand asked for affirmation regarding how crazy the school was before exclaiming her excitement and anticipation. He silently nodded to her question as he picked up a large lambs leg and tore into it quietly. "Since leaving the forest, many strange new things I have seen. I have much to learn and tell my tribe. Such as about humans which all races mimic without having know of them before, and 'tek-nolo-gee', I look forward to what I shall learn of these things." Kitchi stated with a slow pace before taking another bite.

The fairy beside him he was facing when he said hello the first time in his home tongue spoke up after shrinking down into her true form and proceeded to introduce herself and return his blessing. She continues to talk as she flies around him before lighting upon his head. He was unbothered by her chatty demeanor nor her landing upon him, as birds would often alight on him while he sat still waiting for his prey and chirp amongst each other. "I have pondered much of what I have seen in the forests of home, height is but one of them. I more often partake in the events in my village than watch them, so view is seldom an issue. I have been swat at many times by my prey, I just swat harder and quicker this is how I have survived. Being this height is natural for forest giants, I am average height for my age, though the elders are much taller, I am grateful for the muscle allowed by my size, but otherwise it matters little. However we forest giants are dwarfed by the storm giants." He patiently explains after she sat back down and finished her sightseeing from his head.

She had returned to her human form by the time he looked back over to her. "I sense you are closely attuned to nature and it's growth like many of your kind, you are a shaman of plants yes? I have ties to earth and stone and such things are closely related making the resonance between elements strong." He states with a nod to Roisin before he scratches his head. "I saw you on the great metal bird we used to get here, did I not?" He inquired curiously, though his face showed little change in expression before looking over to the commotion between the devil boy and the spirit he brought back with him.

Friendship is one of them and the only one she knows so far. Aurora's guard drops as Tay makes no further attempts to interrogate her after explaining himself. The girl felt terrible after reading the boy's body language. His tail had gone limp, his focus remained sorely on the plate of food.

Aurora took her seat and contemplated for a minute. She turns to Tay and takes his available hand doing the only thing she knows how to do when miscommunicating.
"Please forgive me!" She cried out then leaned in closer with puppy dog eyes. "I am so sorry for not understanding. It's just a habit." Her voice not grew soft as she spoke, "Asking too many questions and trying to learn more about me is a red flag for me. I like to keep my identity private for lack of a better reason I unfortunately cannot say, but I would gladly like to be friends and start over, if you don't mind?" She sends him a warm smile hoping to reassure the fellow.

"You have every right to be upset with me, but I will do whatever it takes to make it up to you." A brilliant idea pops up. "I know, how about a dance? Will that cheer you up? I don't know how to dance but maybe we both can try?" She chirped. Whatever it takes is an understatement for Aurora being the ambitious type would most likely smother him until he's satisfied and all is forgiven.

Tay managed to finish the little bit of Lasagna left as Aurora sat by him silently. However she then took his hand, which surprised him and he didn't know what to expect which left him looking at her with a confused expression. She then asked him to forgive her as she leaned forward to give him puppy eyes. He couldn't help but look down... his tail instantly perked up giving him away. "Ah y-sure!" He responded as he quickly look away after the image was branded into his mind... he couldn't help it she was hot and he was young.

Aside from all the stories his father told of him sneaking peaks of Arlosk, it brought back memories of some of his elder siblings taking after their father in their younger years. It was just a family thing... at least that was his excuse if she asked. She went on to explain why, it being a habit, she can't say anything about her past, and that she wanted to start over. She then goes on to say he can be mad at her and she'll do what she has to, to make things up. She had been gently smiling the whole time which quickened his heart, however after she invites him to dance with her which makes his heart start racing. He has to calm himself down before answering everything she said in order.

"I would like to start over too... I'll not ask any about your past, but I would like to try to get to know you better without prying." He explains as his tail dances out excitedly behind him. "Is asking about what you like and dislike too much...?" He inquires with a hopeful expression. "I wasn't mad, just a bit disheartened before. I'm fine now for the most part... and I would love to dance with you Aurora." He admitted as his tail got a mind of it's own and wrapped around her waist which caused him to blush and look away. "A-Anyways shall we head up to dance? I can teach you how." Tayen offers with a bashful smile.

Aurora let's out a sigh of relief to know Tay had forgiven her and willing to give her a second chance. He then asked about learning her likes and dislikes being too much. Aurora had to ponder whether or not it was too much. She supposed if it was less about her home and more about her personal interest, she could get behind it. "Hmm, no I guess it's not wrong just so long as it doesn't involve my home." She winked.

She frowned after learning Tay was disheartened and somewhat ok. The blonde had to figure out a way to lift his spirits. Perhaps a dance or two will suffice? At the same time, Tay accepted her offer. Aurora found her plans coming together. However, what she didn't expect was his tail to coil around her waist. To Aurora, this was alarming. She unconsciously fazed her tail off her and stepped back with a squeak. She had interjected after Tay Asked to head to the dancefloor.
"S-sorry...being touched is not something I'm used to with anyone but father. I-I'll try not to struggle but I can't promise for twitching." She smiled softly hoping he was ok with it. "But yes...let's head to the dancefloor." She takes his hand reverting quickly to her bubbly personality. The last thing she wanted was to discern the male after her outburst.

Telith felt a little embarrassed by the fact that he wasn’t speaking loud enough… that just made stuff worse the girl probably missed stuff he said and it was just going to become a jumbled mess the orang of Telith’s eyes gaining a shade of green. and It seemed his attempt at a gift had only managed to startle the the them too Telith toothy grin disappearing as it was instead replaced with a feeling of worry.

but almost instantly those feeling where washed away but that of surprise the orange green hued dots now had a tint of yellow mixed in as well. “Oh wow.. you.you…you actually bought one of those.. I.. I didn’t think anyone did” Telith remarked softly but obviously surprised, Telith had attempted to sell a few of his “drawings” online before since his father had mentioned people would like them but he’d stopped after a while having felt they where probably not good enough for anyone… yet someone had bought one. ”oh um yeah you can take this one oh err I I made that one too.. hope you like it. then” Telith replied again when she’d asked about the bracelet gift, nodding a little as she chuckled at one of his other offers least she’s seemed to be feeling better that making Telith feel much better too the orange and yellow fading form his eyes leaving the green as the more prominent colouration. “Oh um it’s ok if you don’t have anything“ he’d add quietly Telith hoping he’d not made the exchange more awkward. But the. The girl produced a beanie form her bag and offering it to Telith a small gesture of thanks as she said, Telith gently taking the beanie again his shape white teeth emerged form the abyss of his hoodie as a grin. “Oh wow.. thanks… I like it” he’d reply with a bit more confidence in his tone putting the beanie on over his hoodie resulting in a rather goofy look. and the girl had introduced herself as Faith Vallidoild and that she was a human so it kinda made sense why everything was a little spooky. “nice to meet you the. Faith that’s um a nice name too I’m Telith Gartos err dragon I think yeah.. oh umm you feeling a little better now“ Telith introduced himself while adding a compliment.. still he hoped he’d made her feel better she seemed a lot happier now so he must have done an ok job right?

Tay was relieved when Aurora said anything not related to her home was in bounds for asking questions. Her wink seemed almost sultry in nature causing Tay to swallow as her allure made innocent gestures seem to mean... more. He knew better, but his instincts said otherwise. After his tail acted on it's own she did something and his tail wrapped around air as she stepped back with a squeak. "I'm sorry my tail has a mind of it's own sometimes." He apologized, his tail was being far too forward with someone he just met and knew nothing about other than her name.

"I hope you don't phase through me while I explain how to dance, wouldn't want to be stuck together in an eternal three legged race." Tayen said in a joking tone to try and lighten the mood as he tried to gloss over the father comment and not think too hard on the subject... because it was far too easy to. He smiled back and had an idea as he looked to see a pair leaving the dance floor with hands held. "Say, how about we hold hands to try and get you used to touch so we can dance?" He inquired as he offered her his hand, he couldn't help but have a hopeful expression as he did, but it was more subtle under his gentle smile.

After she took his hand he made his way to the dance floor with a soft grin that wouldn't go away, he was about to do one of his favorite activities with an attractive girl. It reminded him of the story of how his parents met in a highschool ball on the first night of school... granted they rather quickly began to do the do... but that was beside the point. He wasn't as interested in getting laid as much as having a partner to stay with him for life... he was just sentimental like that. His mind began to wander as he started to think too far ahead and play out various scenarios in his head when he accidentally bumped into someone on the dance floor. He quickly apologized and turned to Aurora. "Alright so let's start with something simple since you don't know how to dance. So you put your hands here," he says as he puts the hand he is holding on his shoulder, "and I place my hands on your hips. Once you're comfortable with that I can show you how to move. This isn't a formal dance, it's just what is often used for slow dancing at parties like this." He explains with a grin as his heart starts to quicken once more, he had danced with girls before but this... it felt different, more personal and attached. He was really into it, instead of going through the motions and wishing he was dancing alone.

Tay had managed to convince another alongside the giant whom had settled himself next to her. After a bit of prying form Tay who kiree could tell he clearly had taken a bit of a liking to them there name was Aurora. The spirit then made a passing comment about Kiree’s horns she’d give a smile before shaking her head. “Oh no it’s more like ice and fire mixed together weird combo but cool” kiree explained cheerfully her attention shifting swiftly back to giant his name was kitchi right? Yeah it was Kiree nodded to herself deciding to leave her older brother to chatting with Aurora but she couldn’t help but giggle somewhat when over listening to kitchi reply Tay was berated for asking too many questions at once. “really guess you got a lot to learn and see kitchi, oh and technology stuff honestly really cool I bet you will enjoy it, it’s just like magic but with a lot more complicated words to explain how it works most of the time“ kiree commented, there was a lot a fairy that had jumped into the conversation. talking to kitchi kiree took the time to eat a little bit more honestly she kinda forgot what she’d put on her plate… there was some kind of meat though tasted a lot like lamb so probably was. she’d then shift her head forward so she could see the fairy girl who’s name was rosini? At least that‘s what Kiree heard. “Hi I’m kiree nice to meet you as well rosini” she’d chirp “being a fairy must be cool right? Flying and all that” she’d ask trying to break the ice a little hopeful the three of them could make good conversation surly it would be interesting.

Tayen joked about Aurora fazing through him and the result being stuck together. While it's not impossible, Aurora didn't realize it was a joke and instead took it as a note to avoid being intangible. "Right, ok." She acknowledged. Tay then brought up the suggestion of hand holding for the sake of growing accustomed. It wasn't a half bad idea if dancing required touching. It would prove difficult for her, but as promised, she had to make things better after upsetting the male. Aurora was hesitant before accepting his hand.

The feeling of someone else's hand was odd even when she did not initiate it. Any sort of affection was strange leaving the girl mixed yet Tay's half smile made her rethink. She shifts to elemental lost in thought until he bumped into someone with Aurora staggering in tow. She too had forgotten to keep her eyes ahead. She couldn't help but let out a low giggle.

Tay began to guide Aurora to a stance and moving her hands in place for a proper dance. She blushed lightly rather embarrassed when held by her hips. She grew blank and stared off into the distance contemplating before coming back down again.
"Um...ok? And then what?" She wasn't sure if she should ask and learn what was next on the list.

Alrun
_______________________________________

Alrun was leaning against a tree on the outskirts of a small town she had found. She was tired from walking there. As she began to sit down to rest a crow flew up and perched on her Skull catalyst. "Hello there......" She said quietly to the crow. It had something in it's beak. She put her hand out in front of it and it dropped the roll of paper. When she opened it she saw that it was an invitation to a school in.....America? She hadn't heard of it before. Well, she did want to explore the world. She saw the magic circle and read the instructions, She cut her finger with her nail and let a drop fall onto it, an arrow appeared to lead her way. Well so much for her rest. She stood and began walking in the direction the arrow pointed. She had no one to see her off.

Within a few days Alrun made it to the large floating ship. She looked around shyly, there were many many people. Lot's she had never seen before. She quietly and inconspicuously made her way to the ship and showed her invitation to the gate master. She got a few weird looks once she was on the ship thanks to the skull she carries around. She was slightly embarrassed but just picked a window to stand at and didn't move for the rest of the journey. Once they started moveing she was more interested with how the outside looked from her point of view. She spent the journey entranced by the outside until they arrived.

She stepped out of the floating ship and went to the large arch she saw immediately. She was handed a cloak with the school crest. She thanked the person who handed it to her with a nod and put it on. She glanced at the writing on the arc and didn't think much about it. Once inside the school she was taken aback slightly by how beautiful it was. She noticed the headmaster speaking and tried her best to pay attention through it. Once he was finished speaking she was led with a group of students to a banquet hall. A salamander man began to speak and introduced himself as the Salamancer. Alrun couldn't help but to think it was kind of cute. He introduced himself as their homeroom teacher and then let them free to mingle with each other. This would be her least favorite part of being at the school. Making friends.......

She chose a spot to sit where it looked like she wouldn't have to talk to anyone. She looked around and saw people with food on their plate. So she did the same and got some. She mostly sat there and moved the food around with a fork. She didn't really like eating, she could but she had no need to since she fed mostly on the energy of death left on bones and such. the only thing on the table that really mattered to her was the meat since, there were bones in some of it.

She became aware of someone who had taken the seat next to her when the previous sitter had left to dance. She didn't dare to look at him but she felt he was looking at her, perhaps judging her appearance. She had noticed earlier that she was oddly dressed in comparison to the others. "You done with that?" he asked. She looked at him and he nodded towards her plate of mostly vegetables. She pushed her whole plate toward shim, she wasn't going to eat it anyways. "Here......" She said quietly looking away.

Quick but deliberate Marcus sorted the offered vegetables onto the former seat-occupant's napkin. Cooked carrots would turn to mush if not handled with care but he'd figured a system out and stored them away in his layers. If he hurried up he might even get away before she noticed. Halting with a bite just entering his mouth he moved the spoon full of peas away, dropped his shoulders and his head, and sighed heavily the moment he felt little claws pricking his abdomen.

The claws were sharp as a kitten's but moved with far greater care. Many years ago they had both figured out the other's physical tolerances to things like scratches, chewing, and strangulation and smothering. Reluctantly and without opening his eyes he lifted his left hand, turning the palm up he could have looked as if about to request a dance from the generous girl. Instead slithering and gripping with claws, his Pactling poked her head out of his sleeve. She climbed enough further to rest her forefeet on his hand and blinked at the skull held by the girl.

She was curious, yes, but also cautious in a protective way. Turning her head with a serpentine twist of her neck the dragon-esque creature looked up at the girl. "Why have's bone? Not take Mar-kiss bone, not any." she asked, peppy and enthusiastic even if she was also makinga threat to ensure no harm was directed toward her human. Her golden pebbled irises were divided by oval shaped pupils which widened briefly when something excited her. "Can have's trash-food?!"

Another groan, with more emphasis on the fact that he had to deal with this now. Using his free right hand he focused his attention on the food and plate before him. He tried to play it off as having no significance. His left hand where the serpentine, with legs and some fur, creature delicately stood did not move or shift at all. Even when lifting one hand and making her balance particularly imperiled she did not hesitate and his hand did not waver. Then the talking started. There was nothing else to do but deal with the disaster. "I am Marcus and this is Noodle. She doesn't mean to be rude." Using a tiny puff of breath to get her attention he had said this so many times he probably said it in his sleep, "No trash-food. Noodle, when you're hungry you need to tell me. Then I will get you food." For a moment, just one second he hesitated then moved on, addressing the girl who was, actually, holding a humanoid skull. "She was hoping that if you were allowed to pick bone from the trash then maybe she could too. She really didn't mean to, y'know...suggest, that, you, eat-out-of-the-trash. Sorry."

Tayen couldn't help but think she was cute as she giggled as his fumble, her voice was so pretty... still it was a bit too early to get attached since he didn't know much about her or anything that was going to happen in school... at least that's what his mind was thinking... not so much his heart which was quickly growing fond of her, and her blush only made his heart beat faster. He paused and waited for her to get comfortable... well at least that was his excuse, as her blush was so entrancing.

She then asked about what was next. "Next you start to sway from side to side and move your feet like this." Tay explains with the aid of his tail pointing to where she should step, and using his own feet to mirror the actions. Hopefully she wouldn't step on his tail, but if she did oh well, nothing can be gained without something being lost they say, even if she did he would shrug it off. He let her get used to the motions as he slowly began to speed it up until it was a normal pace. "How do you feel about dancing now?" He inquired with a bright smile as they swayed back and forth.

Once he felt she had grown accustomed enough to slow dancing, he thought it time to teach her the waltz. It was a slower dance at three fourths time that only used four smooth flowing steps. "Would you like to learn another dance? It's a little harder than the first, but it should be easy for you." He said with a hopeful look, even if they just ended up as friends having a dancing partner would be great since he normally practiced on his own or with one of his older siblings. Perhaps he could show Aurora how he danced alone with his rope darts in the moonlight later...

“Hu well I’m really glad you like it then, I didn’t think it was the best but um the red does really suit you“ Telith replied just being nice but also he really did think it looked nice on faith. His eyes gaining a slight shade of purple to them. “Oh and your welcome least your feeling better faith” Telith would nod softly.

however Telith tilted his head a little as faith had obviously found something funny when he put on the beanie “Hu” telith mumbled, then faith explained that your not supposed to put a beanie over your hood and Telith let out a little awkward squeak eyes going rather green now. “Oh I guess it looks kinda goofy but I’d rather…. keep my ….hoodie on” Telith spoke again his stutter returning once more. “But err I think it looks nice anyway“ he‘d swiftly add claws clacking together. “Oh and yeah I’m a dragon but err we can shapeshift kinda into a human look like this.. but um im very big and glowy normally well if I’m a dragon err I can show you another time before I don’t want to hit my head in the roof” Telith explained quietly as he nodded.

Faith then mentioned how wierd this whole situation was and well Telith was in total agreement, more or less. “Yeah it’s kinda wierd and a little strange but um… trying new stuff is good.. sometimes but err I’m happy to have someone to talk to.. as well but hey err your doing better“ Telith replied cheerfully his eyes turning to a swirling mixture of orange yellow green and purple. “Oh and your not taking me away from anything.… but if you would like we can go back together mabye it will make you feel better?”

Roisin sat patiently as the giant answered all her questions. She kind of thought he'd be more aggressive than this. That's lucky for her though that he wasn't. She often got over excited and overstepped boundaries. He asked her questions of his own "Oh yeah i am a forest fairy after all" She laughed "You talk funny! I like it, and yes i was on the airship that brought us here. the big metal bird in the sky!" She smiled and threw her hands up to do a summersault, except she forgot she didn't have wings right now. She drew her arms back in embarrassment with a giggle. "don't mind me sometimes i forget." then a girl spoke to her Hi I’m kiree nice to meet you as well Roisin, being a fairy must be cool right? Flying and all that” She said. Roisin stuck her hand out to her for a handshake, "Yeah sure is! can you fly?" She asked excitedly. This girl looked cool she hoped they could be friends!
