WELCOME TO ARCHEFLIGHT, YOUR MIX OF STANDARD RPG AND OTOME

You had just found your way into an online world, it had been two days since you had started, the bright lights spelling out the words, 'You are on the ___ route'. You had no idea what you were doing truly, while instincts of your character would take over randomly, you were well, lost. It wasn't exactly easy taking over a character that you had no idea how to use the abilities of. You had also been given the 'story quest' of sorting out the corruption with your party. What did that mean? You didn't know just yet.

You had taken a stroll into a nearby town, hoping to at least make some progress on this 'route' you had too take.

You had just left the meeting between the kingdom's, and a lot was on your mind. How would the corruption spread affect the town you were supposed to be protecting? (Or for you, Spy, the information you had just received was a lot to think about), the task had been given for you all to sort out the corruption, since you happened to be some of the most powerful in all of Iyetia. Feeling lost, you all decide to also head into the nearby town.

Pip (and other animals) speak in this color
Aria speaks in this color

Akari had never been much of a believer in things like magic, but well, you can't really not believe in it after you're literally sucked into a game. Nor did she think she'd ever be given weird powers, but here she was, in the body of an otome character. It wasn't exactly unwelcome, but it also was a huge bother. She was someone else, memories she had never been through ingrained into her. Thoughts, emotions, things she'd never say or do were being done thoughtlessly. It was terrifying. So was the cat with wings constantly following her around. He was kind of a jerk, always hissing about how dumb she was, but she witnessed him fly face first into a tree yesterday, so she didn't know why she was the dumb one.

"Aria," Aria snapped out of her thoughts, glancing back at her companion, the feline spreading his wings and stretching, letting out a soft yawn. "We going into town today?" It was honestly funny listening to the soft voice of Pip. He sounded like how you'd imagine a cat would, kind of annoying but also vaguely adorable. She was honestly sad nobody else could hear the creature.

"Yeah, I need to check out the market. We need more supplies." She answered softly, turning away from the cat to glance up at her cupboards. She had her own little house out in the woods, it was tiny and cute, and always had random creatures running in and out so she always had lots of supplies on hand. "We should head out soon before it gets too busy."

There was a central town out between the two kingdoms that served as a big trade center, bringing in lots of foreign items for everyone to buy. Akari had read about it on the page, but never thought she'd, y'know, actually be going too it. Pip flicked his tail, perching on the windowsill for a second before launching himself off of it. Aria ran forward, watching in slight fear as the cat soon came flying up again, flapping his large wings. If cats could grin, he sure would be.

"Let's go then." He called out, and she sighed, grabbing the leather bag from where it sat by the door and headed outside, locking the door behind her. She hadn't even fully processed what was happening until it was, her legs instantly lifting off of the ground. She screamed eyes screwing shut, struggling for a second before she heard a small hiss. "Relax." It was a different voice this time, gruffer and deeper.

"It's Mydon." A voice in the back of her head spoke softly, and she finally opened her eyes. Great big black claws were wrapped around her armpits, and green scales met her vision when she glanced over. She relaxed instantly in the hold of the dragon. Despite not having met her in the last few days she had taken over as Aria, this dragon felt so familiar and warm.

"I know you don't like flying yourself, so Pip asked me to come drop you off." The voice rumbled, and she nodded slowly, eyes finally looking down. She was nearly at the clouds, the forest looking like a tiny spec under her. Normally, she'd probably be terrified, but she trusted Mydon. "Thank you." She whispered softly. The dragon let out a soft hum in response.

It didn't take long to get to the edge of the forest line, the nature dragon slowly descending. They had to be careful they weren't spotted, they didn't need any hunters coming around, especially with a whisperer and a dragon. As soon as she was dropped off, she waved goodbye, the large dragon dipping her head in response and taking off once again. Pip landed on her shoulder, folding his wings back.

"Well, let's go shopping then." She handed a bag to Pip and he gripped it in his teeth. "Meetup in 20?" The cat didn't respond, leaping off of her shoulder and bounding into the market square. Aria sighed softly before tucking the other bags under her arm and heading in after him.

Amethyst sighed, leaning against the counter of her shop. Aside from her familiar leisurely laying near the store window, the little potion shop was empty. It had been two days since she arrived and it was about a day ago she realized this wasn’t just a long dream. This was crazy, nothing about this was normal but she was starting to get used to her surroundings a bit. After spending most of her time in the potion shop and with Misto, it was easier to just accept this was now her reality and while she was Hirose Kasumi the college student, she was also now Amethyst Wiltshire the witch. She had all of Amethyst’s memories, powers, and she was starting to even think and act more like Amethyst.

At first it was a little alarming when she found herself able to remember potion recipes just by taking a glance at the potions around the shop and how she knew how to take care of the shop, but it wasn’t like she wasn’t in control. It was just Amethyst’s habits kicking in. Even now, she had just finished taking the inventory of ingredients and the number of potions she had left while the shop was closed for the day. They had enough potions but ingredients… not so much. She’d have to go into town to buy some while she closed the shop for a while to get everything she needed. Honestly she hadn’t left the shop much while she sorted this whole situation out but it would be nice to take this chance to explore a bit.

“Misto, we’re going out for ingredients.” She announced, pushing herself off the counter so she could go gather a few leather satchels while Misto got up and followed her. “Where to?” He asked as she swung a satchel over her shoulder and put two on Misto for him to carry. When she first met the giant tiger, she was a bit scared since she had never been this close to such a creature but she grew more comfortable as she spent more time with him. Misto had an overall chilled out personality and was usually very helpful in her endeavors. “The market. It’s not too far and what we need are just normal things so nothing we really have to look for.” Amethyst answered as she made sure she had everything, including her crossbow in case they needed it along the way though she doubted she would run into too much trouble.

The two locked up the shop, leaving a sign that said: ‘Closed - Leave or get cursed’ on the door for any people who happened to come to visit the shop. She climbed onto Misto’s back and the two headed off to the market. It truly wasn’t too far away, the journey only being about 10 to 15 minutes on a tiger's back from her humble abode. When they reached the outer edge of the town, Amethyst climbed off of Misto and gave him a small pat on the head out of habit before picking up the satchels Misto had carried along the way. “Stay nearby but out of sight, okay? You might cause a panic if the townspeople see a large tiger wandering around.” Amethyst warned needlessly before casting an invisibility spell on him and setting off into the marketplace to get what she needed and explore the marketplace a little more while she was at it.

“Another day, another shit show.” Roland muttered to himself, he honestly should have seen it coming, whenever he gets summoned it’s never things like ‘oh hey everything fine, so go take a vacation!’ Instead it’s always ‘Sup bastard, there’s a big scary monster, go hit it really hard, alone and don’t expect us to do anything else cause fuck you.’ Only this time, he wasn’t alone, which only served to emphasize how fucked they were.

Roland ducked into an alleyway as he needed to get away from the crowd of civilians to organize his mental notes. The seals on the witch and the summoner, which was created by Gerlan, Elm, and his loser of an ancestor. ‘Hmm so the jail was busted out.’ Roland started to think the meeting was quite frankly what people would call a fucking mess, the perfect example of why he didn’t like politics. ‘Alright let’s go over the information, the seal was broken and spread to a fishing port, concerning to say the least, if it started with any kind of port it always meant that shit happens there has a tendency spread out via boats.’

As Roland was deep in thought he started a small candle fire on the tip of his finger, before he tossed it to another and juggled it between between each finger. ‘Though the bigger issue is if the seal was somehow broken from the inside or from the outside? The inside seemed unlikely, but we don’t quite know everything about the jail, since it’s old as fuck, so it’s not impossible that they found a loophole or it degraded over time, that would be problematic in it’s own right. Though someone breaking it from the outside is a bit more likely, it probably wasn’t on accident, I don’t think anyone’s THAT much of a dumbass, but I might be underestimating the inherent stupidity of humanity.’

Roland flicked the flames to his other hand. ‘So if the jail didn’t degrade over time it’s probably a person or an organization that was actively aiming to break them out in the first place. That’s honestly the worst case scenario, because that means they have resources to work with and their actions would escalate quicker. So three things to figure out, one the state of the prison and how they broke out, two how far did the damages reach, and three what kind of resources do the two have at their disposal?’

Information was always a key deciding factor in how an engagement ended, Roland could definitely say that from experience, he unlike some of the knights who only got the position though nepotism and did nothing with them, he been though countless engagements over the years. Though he wasn’t going to deny it, a part of himself was very much excited. He grew up on these stories and now a new chapter of the story was being written.

Serena Abilith
Location: One of the Towns in the Parlton Kingdom
Interactions: OPEN

It had been two days since Hisa had awaken in this new world. It had been two days since she found herself awakening in a bed that wasn’t her’s and a house far different than her college dorm. It had been two days since Hisa Makino had become Serena Abilith.

The Goddess.

A fact that echoed through her head as Serena sat at the table of the small cottage buried not so deep in the forest that she had come to know as home. In front of her laid a small leather-bound journal, the page covered in notes about everything about the world she learned so far. The general lore she learned at the beginning. The bits and pieces of information she learned about the layout and the land and communicating with NPCs in nearby villages as well as her father. Any instincts she seemed to adopt from this new body. All things she had learned during these past two days.

A soft escaped the blue haired woman as she learned back at the wooden chair, a smile on her face at the thought. After all, for someone like her, this was the life. Sure yes, it took some adjustment. After all, she currently is living a life that was not her’s previously with memories she never experienced and a reputation she never could imagine having before. But that was part of the gaming experience that she was beyond used to. Connecting to protagonists from the blandest of blank slates to the snarkiest of anti heroes and living out their stories as if they were her own. She was used to this! This adjustment was just… more personal than usual. But nothing that a seasoned gamer like herself couldn’t handle. Not to mention, Serena thankfully had a personality that she could mostly relate to save for a few things.

Besides, outside of that, this world was paradise for her. No classes to worry about. No uncertain futures to keep her up at night. No very awkward misunderstandings to haunt her days later. Just living the life of a video game character where she, for once, had an idea on what to do. For a moment, Serena was convinced this was a dream and she would wake up any moment. But with two days having passed, it became glaringly clear. Which arose the question… when… was she supposed to get home?

Probably soon. Yeah. She just should focus on enjoying her time to the fullest. And speaking of soon.

Serena gazed outside, turning her head to the window curiously. Her “father” left to hunt some time ago and the sun had begun to peer through the tree near their home. Shops should be opening soon. Which meant the possibility for side quests!

Grinning widely to herself at the thought of having another day filled with adventure, Serena bolted upright from her chair, grabbing her journal in a hurry as she grabbed her various things on the way out of her house and stuffed them into her satchel, hanging on the windowsill right next to the door.

And she was off, walking down the familiar path she had walked down many times before with the ground underneath marked by footprints and the various pieces of unique vegetation peeking from the underbrush all serving as indicators that Serena was on the right way. To a little town close to the central kingdom but still a small trek from. Close enough to gather business but far enough to avoid the wrong kind of attention as her “father” put it.

Gazing at the various flora and fauna, Serena grinned, unable to help herself from stopping or walking backwards just to peer a little closer at the vibrant environment that surrounded her, finding wonder in it all. Well that was until she spun around forward once again and saw she was nearing the town with buildings plain in sight, a fact that quickly captured her attention.

“Okay!” Serena announced to herself as she stood at the entrance to the town, turning the pages of her journal to the small map she drew of the small town she had been visiting the past few days along with small notes about the information she gathered. “So the bakery seems to usually have something for me to deliver during the mornings so that is first priority.”

Serena muttered to herself, about to circle it
on her map only to suddenly be greeted by a passing guard. Serena tensed, startled as she was suddenly pulled out of her scheming. However, as soon as she recovered from her shock, she found herself scrambling to greet the man as she turned to them with a sheepish smile and wave. “U-um hey! Hello! Good to see you! Hope you’re well!”

…yup she nailed that. Most definitely. Yeah.

Well at the least the guard was amused, chuckling and waving to her in return as he wished her well before continuing his daily rounds. And as his back turned to her, Serena sighed out of relief. Yeah… she still needed to get adjusted to that… but at least it went well!

Turning her attention back to her journal, Serena turned to the page she saved for the side quests with one small portion already filled with completed side quests from the previous days. Calmer upon having her mind occupied, the blue haired woman wrote a small subtitle for the 3rd day. Only for her eyes to drift over the page right next to it. The one dedicated to the main quests. Of defeating the corruption and completing the route of Cyrus Seto.

The Fae Prince.

The one she was meant to romance… despite him not appearing yet. Which made sense considering he was apparently from another kingdom if the game description was correct. She just… didn’t know. Usually the main story and route stuff would start happening right now. Was the game giving her time to get adjusted? After all, a full-on hybrid of an otome and rpg was a pretty new concept.

Either way, it’s best that she prepared for whatever. And the best way to do that was with side quests.

Turning forwards once again and beginning to walk forward, Serena was about write down “Bakery” for her side quest log only to bump into someone, stumbling back as her journal slipped from her hands and onto the floor from the shock of the impact. Serena tensed only to quickly panic as she was quick to raise her hands up as though she was surrendering as apologies were quick to leave her lips. “Gah! Really really sorry about that. I wasn’t watching where I was looking and well, you were there and just… I am really sincerely sorry! You are okay right?”

Not that Aria didn't want to go into town. She kinda just wanted to remain sailing for the rest of her life. Being in the "game" as Aria referred to it was a bit of a confusing thing. The sheer amount of information piled onto her at once. When she was brought into the game she kind of saw it as an opportunity to not have to work for the rest of her life. When it came to heading into town, the rest of the crew of the White Falcon had told her to get some supplies while she was at it

"Boy if you're heading into town, grab some food and supplies. We can't be sailing when we're running this low on storage." The captain had told her.

So at the very least it did seem like she had to go into town. The question was what would she wear arriving into the town. On one hand she could very well try to head into town as a female but all of her clothes besides the ones she had gotten since pretending to be a man to become a pirate would apparently be with her mother. Or atleast all the clothes Emeria had from back then were with her mother. Aria could tell that Emeria didn't exactly have the best relationship with her mother. Emeria was quick to leave the village and venture far away from her mother. Emeria wanted more than anything to be at Sea and Aria could tell why. It was the most fun she'd had in a long time. Most of her life back on earth was spent simply examining artifacts from the past or digging up old sites. People called her a workaholic back then but to see strange treasures being found at sea that reminded her of the old artifacts she would examine was a good reminder of home. It made her feel calm and gave her a sense of purpose.

So the best Aria could do was to continue posing as Emerson Northwind for now. A young male of twenty years who had joined a pirate crew as soon as he became an adult. While he wasn't the most experienced among the rest of the crew, they always could tell he had heart, or she rather. It was very much confusing to have some many identities to balance out. The whole situation felt needlessly complicated and definitely like it was part of some cheesy otome game.

Arriving in the town she didn't want to arouse suspicion. She looked like a simple young sailor. Nobody in this town would know her and the idea of running into "Variable #1" was not exactly a good idea. And running into the other girls that had been transported into the game would also cause problems. Would they recognize her in this guise?
Variable #1 was not exactly something she felt sure of. The idea of being destined to end up with someone wasn't something she worried about ever before. And from all the information she had of him it sounded like a dangerous thing to be near him. Them meeting meant she felt like they would somehow ending up crossing swords. Somehow all of Emeria's skills as a pirate transferred to her. So she knew she could fight well and the combination of water magic made it so she probably was abit tougher than any girl could be expected to be. Although if she had to cross Variable #1 as a man she felt like he wouldn't go easy on her.

She walked carefully, checking out every shop in the town to find some spices and food that could be made into rations. Perhaps it would be a good idea to even check out the weapon shops.
She walked into a shop selling weapons looking at some harpoons and spears and glancing at some swords.
"You look like a sailor. Trying to find something good to hunt some whales or something." The shopkeeper spoke up to her.
It seemed like the shopkeeper assumed she was here to find some harpoons and rope to hunt whales, it wasn't a uncommon thing. Many ships hunted whales down for oil and fat among other things.

Gremory

A deer was drinking from a crystal clear river. Its snout greedily chugging as much water as it could manage. The overall atmosphere was a very peaceful one, at least until a hatchet suddenly flew towards the deer's direction and buried itself in the neck. Shrieking loudly, the deer tried to flee in panic while bleeding uncontrollably, but something else was chasing it. A small spot of moving shade was quickly rushing at it and then merged into the shadow beneath's the deer body. A large crescent-shaped fin made of pure darkness emerged from the ground beneath it and started circling the prey, as if trying to mock the deer for being helpless. Then a shark-shaped figure erupted from the shadow. Entirely black, no eyes, no nose, no gills. The only visible feature was several pairs of large sharp fangs and a wide open jaws ready to devour. It quickly bites the deer's neck and separated its head from the rest of its body in a single snap.

"That's an overkill, Maw." Gremory walked calmly towards the dead body and unsheathed her knife, ready to skin it on the spot. Meanwhile Maw transformed his shape into that of a hound with the same characteristics and started playing with the head by rolling it around.

It had been two days since she took over as Gremory and she only realized her biggest problem after she separated away from the other girls, Gremory didn't poses a single penny. She had no job and she lived inside a cellar in an abandoned village, and she didn't even know where that village was located. It seems the spawn mechanic put her far away from where she should've been. In other words, she's fucked.

Fortunately Gremory at least carries some useful items like her trusty hatchet or her comically long fishing rod. Seriously, that fishing rod was roughly two meters with the fishing line at least ten meters in length. It's also kinda awkward carrying it through the forest.

Her current goal was to hunt enough games so she could sell it for some money then sleep on a real bed and eat real food. This hobo life gave her frequent backache and she started to wonder if she's really transported into an otome game or a survival simulator. Maw turning aggresive when he doesn't get to kill something for an extended amount of time might also poses problem if she lives in the city.

Speaking about game and goals, she seems to had several quests ongoing already. The first quest that attracted her attention was the Roland Ashbridge route, the hothead prince. Just thinking about it already made her felts nauseous. Her love life never went well and the last time she confessed it ended up breaking her resolve. In the end her main reason to play otome games was so she could fulfill her fantasy while avoiding the real thing. She wasn't ready to do it herself.

Her second quest was to defeat corruption, something she didn't really understand. If the memory she got from the old Gremory was correct though, then she already defeated quite a number of it back in her abandoned village, the presence of Maw really boosted her fighting capability huh.

The other two quest she had were considered side quests. One was retrieving object#0 from her basement home and the other was eliminating a cult. She wouldn't bother much with side quests though and the cult one sounds especially troublesome.

"Finished~" After a long tedious work she finally finished skinning the deer. She didn't to admit it but the work was actually pretty satisfying. As Yuna she never touch a meat this raw before and the sensation of cutting flesh and blood slipping through her fingers was quite thrilling.

"Maw, bear form." Maw nodded and transformed into a gnarly 3 meters pitch black bear with oversized jaws. Like usual, no eyes, no nose or any other feature other than teeth. Maw picked all the neatly separated meat and leather.

"Let's go, we should quickly sell it before it start rotting." Another big problem for Gremory was things decay faster around her so she couldn't afford to store foods for long. Even in her memory she recalled the old Gremory had to constantly hunt animals because of this. The girl and her wicked looking bear pet hastily run towards the direction of the nearby town.

Cyrus Seto: Fae Prince
Interaction: Chimeric Chimeric
Mentioned: Shiyonichi Shiyonichi Prince of Corruption Prince of Corruption
( Heath is in this post, because L'amour told me he wants to be with his best friend. )

For the fae prince to be invited to an important meeting like this was an honor to have, because Prince Cyrus never had to deal with a situation like this before. In fact, because of the Fae Court being a neutral party. They haven't had to deal with the political fighting between the Parlton and Sylvan kingdom, thanks to Elm the fae hero. The only meeting that would be like this situation is when Heath and him are arguing about the state of the Sylvan kingdom. Although, they make up for what they said during the meeting by giving each other gifts.

As for how the fae prince knew about Elm, the faes wrote about the fae hero through the children's books. However, nobody told Cyrus about the actual story of the fae hero, because the corruption wasn't on the Fae Court's mind at this point.

Upon arriving at the meeting, Heath flew towards him in order to sit on his shoulder in their owl form. Cyrus wanted to pet his best friend's head, since he was happy to see him. Yet, he went against that, because they had to look professional for the meeting.
The fae prince then listened to the royal families talk about the corruption once the important meeting had started. This caused poor Prince Cyrus to be confused with the corruption thing.

To prevent himself from looking like a fool in front of the other royals. He took out the warm tea from a container, poured it into a cup he brought with him as well, and sipped it. Cyrus was still listening to them, but they had nothing to add to the conversation. The fae prince doesn't know what the corruption is, because he is the only royal who doesn't have an ancestor. 'I might want to have a private conversation with Heath about the corruption afterwards, so I can fix the Fae Court's mistake.' thought Cyrus. They knew that the corruption was something serious, because of how everybody was reacting to it.

Eventually, it was over, so Cyrus walked out of the meeting room with his best friend: Heath, who was still on his shoulder as an owl. He then whispered to Heath about how the Fae Court didn't tell him what the corruption was, but they knew how serious it was. Everybody's reaction during the meeting made it very obvious that it was a major problem.
They had to go to a private room, so Heath can explain to Cyrus what the corruption is. Because it was important for him to know what that was in case they end up seeing it.
Once the explanation was over, the fae prince went to where the Parlton princes were waiting at while having owl Heath still being on his shoulder.

After the four princes headed to a nearby town, so they could do the task they were given. Cyrus was walking around the town with owl Heath chilling on his shoulder. He then petted his best friend's head when nobody was looking, because the fae prince wanted to do that. They do like owls, and since Heath was an owl. His desire to pet his best friend's head was there.
Cyrus then pretended he didn't pet his best friend's head and went back to focus on his task.
