I have had and idea for a while about making an Rp about a post apocalyptic world, but I need help fleshing it out. If anyone has Ideas or tips I could really use it.

Dust: The Final Word

Storyline

The things that once made mankind so powerful are no longer applicable. No one can remember why or how, that tends to happen in 1,000 years of war and destitute. What the people do know is that this place is filled with many people, some advanced, some not who all fight for superiority. The world once a close and well connected sphere is now once again vast and separate.

In this time and place Guns are scarce and a dissipating art. Only one city in the known land has the capability of manufacturing amunitions for the ancient technology, and they keep a tight grip on the secret of how.

In the place of guns many more savage means of defence have been employed. Weapons like bows, swords, axes and even simple air rifles are preferred over the gun and it's expensive ammo.

Factions

Kye
Simple tribes people they wear assortments of varying animal skins as their clothing and prefer the use of bows, knives, and hand-to-hand combat techniques.
Faction Perks: The art of Death, Silent Killers, Nothing Wasted

Dwellers
The people of the Dwellers live in the husks of old humanity, they hold the most important wealth of knowledge of the Old World. They prefer Guns seeing them as superior to all other forms of combat.
Faction Perks: Ammo Packed, Marksman, Advanced Gun Knowledge

Haun-lo
A mysterious people who seem to be capable of surviving even death. They strike fear in all people with their uncanny ability to survive everything short of beheading. The secret of their ability to survive is advanced medicine, surgery, and bullet resistant vests.
Faction Perks: Un-Killable, Medical Emergency, Feared

Refuge

Controlling faction- Dwellers

Details: A large walled city built inside an old suburban neighborhood that is the hub of Ammo and gun manufacturing. With walls over 20 ft high, turret towers, and a miniature hydroelectric dam in the center of the city it is fortress among fortresses.


“The Den”

Controlling Faction- Kye

Details: Built inside a dense swamp it is a floating marvel. Surrounded by trees, and a confusing labyrinth of rivers and lagoons filled with deadly animals, of you aren’t killed by getting lost or eaten alive, the Kye’s brutal ambush tactics will.


Kings landing

Controlling faction- Haun-lo

Details: Using their Mythical reputation to their advantage the Haun-lo built their home sounded with skeletal remains. Around the settlement's perimeter there are animal and human remains stacked upon rocks and poles marked with blood. Those not disturbed by the signs will continue to find the remains of a barbed wire fence which used to be the perimeter of a military base. Further inside a small village can be found established inside and around the remains of an old hospital.
