Cargo Town

Leader: Luisa Verity


Location: An old rail yard. A rocky flat area with well traveled roads in and out


About: Cargo Town is a relatively rare example of a city that has thrived in the desolate wasteland. It is mostly built up out of storage and freight containers stacked and deconstructed. The people that live here enjoy many freedoms and live in peace. The railway brings travelers from near and far, bringing new trade and fresh faces.


Law: There is a police force in the city that enforce basic laws such as "Don't steal" and "Don't hurt people"


Sanctuary

Leader: Eugene Nolan


Location: a burnt old forest in some small mountains north of Cargo Town


About: Although the name sounds ironic, Sanctuary is pretty safe for the most part. It could be due to how near it is to Cargo Town or the fact that the burned forest might be haunted.


Law: There's a sheriff! Mr. Eugene Nolan is the law in his own town.


Fool's Hope

Leader: Buttons


Location: in the ruins of some old city


About: Fool's Hope is a slaving community built off of the servitude and subjugation of others. They regularly have "hunting parties" that go out to smaller towns to harvest the people living there.


Law: law??? lmao


Starlight Stronghold

Leader: Crow


Location: Some fortified bunker in a mountain


About: These people have a lot of technology! From laser guns to power armor. Anything you want, they got and aren't gonna share with you. They regularly deny medical help to settlements in need, only to turn around and recruit them to live in their bunker as poorly compensated "Outsiders".


Law: Their laws are pretty simple, don't be a murderer and don't give your stuff to Outsiders no matter what. How you feel doesn't matter.


Slagburg

Leader: Lil' Baron


Location: A steelmill from the Golden Age.


About: Slagburg's entire existence is based around the steelmill in the center of town. The walls, shanties, and businesses are made from its metal. Most people, if they aren't part of Lil' Baron's gang, farmers, entrepreneurs, or otherwise specially skilled, work in the Mill. The town is grimy, smoke-filled, and covered in soot.


Law: Lil Baron and his gang enforce basic rule of law in the town, and though he's a strongman despot, he's pretty even-handed.

There's also stuff in probably every hex but you'd have to explore that...like small settlements and stuff
