Appearance: Fairly average height, with an olive skin tone, brown eyes, and long, messy brown hair. She wears large glasses and generally looks fairly disheveled, often tying her hair back into a loose bun because it gets in the way. She prefers to dress in oversized sweaters, jeans, and converse shoes, though she will sometimes wear t-shirts because her lab coat fits better over it.
Personality: Nina is very soft-spoken and gentle, but also very bright. She keeps to herself and can be a bit clumsy, but can hold her own in a conversation that deals with scientific terminology. Nina is generally much more comfortable in conversations that deal with what she understands, and in any other topic of conversation, she is much shyer and less likely to assert herself. She is easily pressured into doing things that she'd normally think better of doing, and does not like conflict, preferring the company of bacteria which does not talk back.

She is generally easily bossed around and given a hard time by Luisa, but in spite of that Nina enjoys working for her.
Other: Nina is very skilled at a lot of household tasks and at times takes on whatever job Luisa needs her to do, finding it stressful but satisfying when she pulls off the impossible by actually satisfying Luisa on occasion.

Appearance: A broad shouldered, Sikh Indian man with a short beard. He has black hair covered by a blue turban and brown eyes. He generally wears a khaki driver's uniform.
Personality: Oiya is generally very calm and collected, always giving off a pleasant demeanor and rarely speaking his mind unless directly asked. He is very kind and will often make an effort to help those in need, spending much of the money he earns working for Vijay on charities while living very simply himself. He staunchly refuses Vijay's efforts to try to give him additional compensation unless he is permitted to use his earnings for the greater good. Oiya is a very benign, wise man, and he is very respectful of all people regardless of social status.
Likes and Dislikes: Oiya likes helping others, children, friendships, peace, traditional Indian foods and beverages, and his religion. He dislikes warfare, fighting, and seeing people injured or in pain.
Bio: Most of the time, Oiya remains a silent presence, either escorting Vijay or running errands for him.
