Mauve "Rose" Wolfsbane

1500x500.jpg
As Mauve walked down the path, she fiddled with the device that Archimedes had handed them, trying to fit it to her ear. Earpieces weren’t wont to fit in her ears if they were also shaped to a Mortem’s, so she eventually gave up and stuffed it amongst her flower crown, tangling up with her wild, white hair. Meh, good enough.

That was when Elric had caught back up with her.

As she walked along, Mauve kept her white tail floof close to her back. The crowds seemed thick and she wasn’t about to accidentally cause an allergic rash attack to unsuspecting, innocent bystanders. That is, if all of this was real. She still wasn’t sure.

There were many games she wanted to test out, and familiar-smelling foods that she hadn’t had in a while. Too bad that would have to wait.

Many bodies blocked her view, so to get a good idea about where she was going if she couldn’t see a break in the flow, she had hopped a couple times to get a handle on her direction.

Her speckled eyes caught sight of the podium up ahead with a stage. That was probably where the music would start.

As soon as the aquatic being started talking, she stopped moving forward and listened.

The music that started up was upbeat, and honestly, Mauve enjoyed it. Even without that urge that rode her to dance, she probably would have anyway. A few unfortunate souls did meet the flowers on her tail, but it was their own fault. They’re the ones that bumped into her.

Once she was pushed to where the stage was, was when Mauve forced herself to stop moving as her mini brows furrowed in confusion.

Heroes!?

She jumped at the word. How did they know? It couldn’t be obvious that she was from Myion? But, the others trapped along with her didn’t all seem to be from Myion like she was.

Weary and on high alert now, Mauve glanced around quickly, taking in her surroundings that she couldn’t trust to not just change.

Fight?

Fight why? Fight what? Fighting was something she understood at least.

Then she found herself inside the tent. It wasn’t like she truly had a choice.

Cyracus noticed how everyone floated to the town’s central square, almost seemingly of one collective mind. The wererabbit, of course, could not be considered much different, for he followed them. He was curious as to what attracted them all there, even with the allure of fun carnival games, silly booths, and no less, the smell of meat that lay thick on the air for miles. He beckoned Ryllae to follow him, though, wouldn’t have worried if he had decided against it or not.

The appearance and sounding of the amphibious fish-man and the swarming of cheers and shouts from the crowd made his ears turn inward, and he grimaced. He had become accustomed to his hearing range over the years, but that didn’t mean loud sounds at close range hadn’t still bothered him. Had he known he’d be in a square like this with a huge crowd, he would have brought earplugs or something, He usually had them on-hand, sometimes even for the underground fights, but seeing as they all changed clothing…

Something else changed though. As the fish man continued to speak, there was an audible crackle with some of his words, that of course, Cyracus picked up with his ears. They flicked at the sound and he remembered picking up something equally as weird earlier on in their entrance to Mirtha.

Then the music started. That cacophony of noise and grinding attacking Cyracus’ ears. They dropped when the tempo quickened, instruments broke in and out of the song that was playing. If his ears could go any lower, he would have pressed them right into his head, though, unfortunately, they were only so flexible. Even though the sounds were physically grating on him, he felt this odd compulsion to…dance. Though, he wasn’t here for that. He refused it, even if he did feel his tail stir and try to awaken to the beat underneath the noise.

And anyway, he was bothered too much by all the people bumping into him, forcing him and others forward in their waves. As much as Cyracus tried to shove past, people stood in his way. He thought of jumping, though, it was as if these people could see that coming, and would have forcibly brought him back down. None of them seemed to have a choice as they were pushed towards the stage.

…only to end inside a tent. And he noticed the music subtly changing, shifting, into something that compelled him to fight.

Feeling shoved into a corner, the adrenaline rising in him, he felt the urge to shift. But he held back. If it were to grow more serious, if more strength was needed, then that was when he would do it.

“Keep it together,” Cyracus instructed the fellow ‘heroes’ they had been likened to, eyes scanning for any so-called foes they would have to fight. “We don’t know what we’ll be facing.”

Though, ironically, he thought for a moment if it was meant they had to fight each other. But surely that would have come much earlier in this story, wouldn’t it?

(sorry for the super short post..)
“Well if your in need of parts... I can help with that no problem“ Harrison concerned with Archimedes. After all he wouldn’t be much of a thief he couldn’t steal a few measly parts a goofy grin crossing the delinous’s face as he spoke. But he had little time to say anything else as some force began to draw everyone back together and towards some dancer and a strange eyes set upon Archimedes whom upon bumping into one of the dancers got very very flustered by the whole situation.. he found it amusing until he started to shout that something was wrong did the alarm bells truly go off yes something was most certainly wrong here... Harrison's eyes darted around with worry, he knew this wasn't at all normal.. and well not exactly being one capable of a direct fight without his dueinous's cooperation... Harrison.. reluctantly hid behind Archimedes and his big armor suit.
