Sakura Hanake

Seeing Akiyama look back at her, Sakura got in position to run. She looked over her shoulder at Maiko, tentatively. "W-wish me luck..." Then, after the recording counted her down, Sakura took off, kicking up dust behind her as she sprinted at above average speed, screeching to a halt and nearly knocking herself into the mud pit as she struggled to regain her balance. Then, with seemingly little effort, she sprung from the ground and caught the first rung of the monkey bars, and proceeded to pull herself up through it and sit on the top, tail wrapping around the rung. Then she stood up, and with her tail straight out behind her, she skipped from rung to rung, and then jumped off, landing beside Akiyama.

Sakura grinned, finally feeling in her element, but also a little embarrassed, feeling like she was cheating by doing it so easily. She shrugged, shyly, looking at her feet, and then turned back to watch Maiko's run at it.

Kiyoshi jumped slightly as he was suddenly spoken at. A.. competition?, "I- I uh..." he begins, more then a little nervous, "Maybe???" he asks, following after Chris as he came up upon the group. Kiyoshi wasn't really a big competition guy, but the others seemed pretty excited, he also didn't want to get run over when they come back around. He breaths in deep, "Uh, sure." he nods, more sure of himself now, "I doubt I will win though." he chuckles a little.

Maiko selected a song from her playlist and was bouncing from foot to foot as she waited for them to begin, giving Sakura a thumbs up, smiling. It was almost like she was dancing right now, which she was. As their little race began she ran forward spinning and dancing a bit as she pranced. It almost seemed as if she was wasting time, that is until she quickly swung her way across the bars, including spinning off the last one before sliding into the next obstacle, just to avoid slamming into her friends. Maiko was completely immersed in her music so she really din't notice Akiyama's stumble. She was just dancing along with surprising speed. Her dancing was nothing to go national with yet, but she was going really fast, and right no beat. (although only she could hear the beat.)
