Cold, abrasive and aloof. That is Andrea in a nutshell. Her rather turbulant and abusive childhood had made her withdraw her emotions deep into herself while also making it hard for her to trust people. Andrea is also known to have a very dry sense of humor and is known to make rather morbid remarks even while in combat.
Despite that, she does have a few quirks of her own. Due to her upbringing, she's rather obsessed with food, ration bars in particular being a huge weakness for her. She can be rather friendly too if one manages to get through her cold Martian exterior.
Biography:
Andrea had a rather difficult childhood. The details she would rather keep a secret but she will tell you that life in the town of Gra is nothing but hardship. Being the 3rd child of a rather popular 'lady of the night', she was mostly raised by her two older siblings who taught her the necessary skills of survival. Namely; scamming, pickpocketing, and, if needed, murder. Of course, Andrea never dared to murder anyone. That is... Until ine faithful evening.
Her older brother had been missing for a few weeks by then and her sister was old enough to join their mother's line of work. Andrea was cold, hungry, and very desperate for cash. A chance presented itself in a lost looking man wandering around the darkened streets. So she shadowed him for a moment, waiting for an opportunity to strike. Just as she found the perfect moment to strike, the man stopped and called out to her saying, "Your breathing gave you away.". In a panic, Andrea lunged at the man with her knife but the next thing she knew, he was already pinning her down and had her at his mercy. What happened next caught her off-guard.
Instead of punishing her, he simply offered her his spare ration bar and even sat with her as she ate. The atmosphere was tense and Andrea had little reason to trust him but she could tell that his kindness was genuine. And so began the odd relationship between Andrea and an EF officer named Hamilton Ardent.
After repeated failed attempts to convince her mother and sister to come with her, Andrea was enrolled in a secret organisation. She and around 99 other children were trained in MS piloting and combat. Their end goal was to create an MS system that takes the collective data of multiple battles and pilots in order to predict enemy movement in real time while raising a pilot that may one day utilize that system to be the ultimate MS pilot. That system's name is the 'Akashic System'.
