It was a cold winter’s day just before Christmas and Javert, an inspector of Paris police was on his way home from work, when he got a call from Jean Valjean saying he wasn’t feeling well. Javert had been living with the ex-convict for a while now and although he hated being in the debt of thef, it was a better alternative to sueaside, though he’d never tell Valjean that or would he? Only time will tell.

“Valjean, I’m home!” Javert called as he entered The house. No answer, which was aud, usually Valjean would be waiting for him in the kitchen with a cup of coffee or tea, but he wasn’t, Where was he? “ where are you Valjean?” Javert wonders softy out loud. Taking off his great coat and begins to search the house, when suddenly he hears a muffled sound and walks towards it. “Valjean?”
