Amy Warren

Just stay out my way and this'll all be over soon.
Amy

Nickname: It's Amy. Just Amy. Address her as Amelia at your own peril.

Gender: Female

Orientation: straight

Age: 18

Date of Birth: 12/5

Personality: Is angry a personality? Amy has an explosive temper that she wields like a blunt instrument, using it to scare away trouble, batter down obstacles and drive off anyone annoying. That's almost always what people notice about but it would be a mistake to dismiss her as merely a hothead. Amy lets herself get mad because it's useful but she's quite capable of reining herself in when that strategy doesn't work and her temper masks an extremely driven surprisingly principled person.

Tireless and incredibly stubborn, when Amy decides something needs to be done it gets done one way or the other. She's at her best when she can concentrate her energy on a single task, she has a knack for finding the most direct, efficient way of solving a problem without wasting time overthinking things. Amy does less well when managing several things at once, she doesn't like leaving something unfinished, considering it to be giving up and can struggle to switch gears or change priorities. Amy also isn't very good at sitting still or waiting, particularly when there is work to be done she hates the idea of wasting time and doesn't care much for discussing things or elaborate plans.

Amy has a rather cynical outlook, tending to view the world as unfair, shitty and in dire need of improvement. Amy has experienced injustice firsthand and has acquired a visceral hatred of bullies or people who abuse their advantages. she's determined to do what she can to improve things, figuring she doesn't have the right to complain unless she's actually doing something. Despite her attitude and a dislike of authority figures she secretly aspires to join the police.

Quirks

*Despite a strong personality and a tendency to try and run over people Amy often has more respect for people who resist her, she seems to secretly enjoy having rivals to push back against
*Amy is secretly fascinated with cute, girly things, but feels like she can't touch them without endangering her image
*She tends to fidget a lot and gets restless easily, especially when she feels like she should be doing something
*Amy is rather concerned with her height, she's concerned she won't meet the minimum requirement to be a police officer and secretly tries all sorts of diets and exercises meant to boost her growth.

Appearance: Amy is short for her age and slender, she often gets pegged as a few years younger than she really is which infuriates her. Amy works out a lot and is more wiry than just skinny. Her bright green hair is obviously a dye job, her natural color is a mousy brown that she doesn't much like. Despite that she has no tattoos or piercings. There's a kind of tension Amy carries around with her that gives an impression of barely contained energy or aggression, people talking to her often get the impression she's going to cut the conversation short by jumping out of a window or punching them in the face. There are lots of tiny, nearly healed scars on her knuckles.

Clothing: When not at school, hers has a uniform, Amy prefers casual streetwear or athletic gear and the outfit she's wearing in the picture is the one she was wearing when she ended up in the digital world. She has actually glasses for reading but prefers not to wear them most of the time and keeps them in a worn, but sturdy leather case. Her hat is actually way more expensive than the rest of her outfit, even the jacket that seems to match it is a cheap knock off. The hat on the other hand is the legit product of a small but well regarded label, it was a gift and Amy is rather protective of it.

History: Amy grew up on the outskirts of Melbourne to a lower class family, her Mother was a receptionist and her Father worked a string of manual labor jobs, mainly moving although he was a bouncer for a while. Sylvester Warren, Sly to his mates, had fiery temper and tendency to mouth off and get fired so the family never had a lot of money growing up, worse Sly tended to bring his temper home. It was never anything too extreme, never enough to get the police involved but there a lot of nights Amy spent holed up in her room hating herself for not being able to do anything.

Eventually Amy's parents split up after a particularly bad fight and Amy's dad more or less fell out of her life but the downside was that money was even tighter than before. Amy caught a lot of flack from her classmates for not having the latest cool thing and wearing secondhand clothes. Until Amy figured out she could make them shut up by hitting them obviously. Sure she would get in trouble and people still talked shit about her behind her back but that still seemed like an upgrade to being the girl everyone made fun of to her face. Amy started cultivating this impulse, getting in more fights, resulting in a string of suspensions, teachers started to write her off as a lost cause and she responded by spending less and less time at school, preferring to wander the streets with others like her.

Amy's little group started to come to the attention of the police, they never stole anything, mostly due to Amy's influence they considered theft "sad" or beneath them somehow but they got in plenty of fights and Amy was driven home in a police cruiser more than once. This all came to a head when Amy was involved in a purse snatching. She had been on her way to meet some friends when she saw it, all she remembers thinking is how cliched the whole things was, some greasy jerkoff in a hoodie bowling a little old Vietnamese lady over. It wasn't any of her business but the whole thing pissed Amy off for some reason and she ended up chasing the guy down and fighting over the purse, when sirens entered the picture the guy cut his losses and ran leaving Amy holding the bag.

There was a little confusion when the police arrived over who had actually stolen the bag, they initially tried to arrest Amy the old lady intervened, or drove them off with her walking stick, whichever terminology you prefer. It ended up being a whole thing, there was even a story in the city paper. One of the police officers took an interest in Amy, got her enrolled in a few youth programs and checked in from time to time. For her part Amy settled down somewhat with a better outlet for her energy, started doing better in school. It took her a while to realize what exactly she as building towards but eventually she realized she wanted that feeling, of helping someone, protecting them, all the time.

Becoming a police officer wasn't going to be the easiest thing in the world for Amy but it wasn't impossible either. She technically didn't have any real convictions just a string of warnings and the challenge was part of the appeal for her. By her last year of high school Amy was making real progress towards her goal. Then? Well then all this happened.

Monodramon

Personality: Blustery and always spoiling for a fight, Monodramon can be a bit overbearing at times. He seems to have an almost pathological need to prove himself and be superior, he'll rise to any challenge asked of him and plenty that aren't. Teamwork and diplomacy aren't Monodramon's strong points, he's the sort that believes digimon should settle their differences with their claws, or teeth or whatever. Monodramon can come off as a bully sometimes but isn't at heart, he's interested in beating the strong and doesn't go after anyone weaker than him. In fact people or digimon that do pick on the weak really piss him off and though he'll try to act casual or disinterested he'll always step up to put a stop to that kind of thing. At heart Monodramon can back up his bluster with a whole lot of guts and he's not a bad partner to have when things go south.

Evolution Line: Hopmon --->Monodramon ---> Strikedramon ---> Cyberdramon ---> Justimon
